Minister of Foreign Affairs, The Honourable Bonifaas Jernigan MP. | Prime Minister of the Van Hool Islands, The Right Honourable Ariella Aitken MP KPC. |
The Van Hool Islands are a storied archipelago in the Pacific Ocean. Located east of Papua New Guinea, northeast of Australia, and northwest of Vanuatu and the French special collectivity of New Caledonia, we maintain a stable multiparty parliamentary democracy, and a leading voice in Oceanic politics. As one of the world's most developed and prosperous nations, we are a major tourist destination for people across the world, as well as a major centre for shipping and natural resources. We also maintain a highly efficient information technology industry, leading the charge in the technological revolution.
We are an officially trilingual nation at the federal level between English, Dutch, and Maori. We are extremely linguistically diverse, and recognised minority languages include Tok Pisin, Frisian, German, Spanish, French, Tikopia, Anuta, Fatutaka, Sikaiana, and Luaniua. We maintain a spirit of egalitarianism and multiculturalism, offering opportunities for all individuals who are willing to make our nation a better place. We pride ourselves in our diversity, and we consider ourselves a better nation for it. We are always willing to engage in relations that share our values and spirit. We hope to meet you soon. Te ti'aturi nei matou ki te whakatau ia koe i te wa poto.
