Arthropol24 (pronounced "Arthropol vingt-quatre") is a state-owned international news and current affairs television network based in Arthropol. Its channels broadcast in French, Occitan, Arpitan, Basque, English, Arabic, Chinese, Italian and Spanish.
Based in the 3rd arrondissement of Arthropol City, the service started on 6 December 2006. It is aimed at a worldwide market and is generally broadcast via satellite and cable operators around the world, but additionally, in 2010, Arthropol24 began broadcasting through its own iPhone, RoyaleOS and Android apps. The stated mission of the three channels is to "provide a global public service and a common editorial stance".
Since 2008 the channel has been wholly owned by the Arthropolian government, via its holding company Arthropol Médias Monde, having bought out the minority share of the former partners: Groupe TF1 and Arthropol Télévisions. The budget is approximately €120 million per year.
