Also, I'm counting the minutes before players start putting "We don't use NS Policies" in their sigs XD

Same, seeing as many policies for many players contradict... luckily mine do not do such too much. Only contradiction there is Capital punishment for a full surveillance Nation... like how could you commit a crime to be killed for it, when you are constantly being watched. But makes sense for the low crime rate that I got. :)

I like it but, at the same time, I’d like it more if it allowed you to know what choices you made to get those policies. I’m trying to remember how I legalized Polygamy and wish to try and reverse a few bans (like on, say, cars)

Luckily it does, when you are on the issue and basically install it; From what I seen it will tell you, if you unlocked a new policy or not. At least. However, after you passed the issue; It sadly does not tell you, so you basically got to remember or guess.

I'm not sure if you can have both at the same time. This nation is intended to be a theocratic duke-bishopric but the policies tab only lists theocracy (which I'm fine with tbh).

Yes, you can. I have seen people with both at the same time. As well as a few other policies.

Is everything binary? Are there any multifaceted policies?

I was thinking that certain issues have 3 possibilities, though you're obviously correct that a policy either is implemented or isn't.

Several nations in the IDU, including this one, are said to have abolished the judiciary. Any idea which issue & option causes that 'policy?

the definitive answer

#253.2: (How Much Democracy Is Too Much?)
"It's time to abolish the judicial system once and for all and give justice back to the people!"

#765.3 (Don't Judge Me)
"Abolish the judicial system and free us from the tyranny you politicians label ‘law’."

possible, although not evident

#110.2 (Too Low On Laws, Say Citizens)
"People should be allowed to determine their own fate and survival without fear of breaking these inhibiting laws! All government officials should be removed at once if this country is ever to become well and truly 'equal'!"

I think we should have a policy that lets us develop an advance and competitive A.I society. Something along the lines of permanent technological revolution or something and plus I have more ideas such as:

"One Nation Policy" - please see example of the One China Policy
"Permanent Technological Revolution" - new things are being invented everyday and this would boost your scientific advancement and information technology by over 400%
"Matriarchy" - Women are in charge and men are looked down upon
"Patriarchy" - Men are in charge and women are looked down upon
"Corporatism" - All Corporation Run the government
"Colonizer" - You have colonize a planet or multiple planets
