Zhouran Central News Agency 09/1/XX Bringing Tourists to Zhouran Through Historical Learning Tourism to be increased through cultural and historical programs Top: Perspective view of a reconstruction of the Seven Black Hills Shangjialata Today the Ministry of National Culture, together with the Ministry of National Tourism, have announced that in lead up to National Day on September 9, promotions for cultural and historical program will be increased in order to boost Zhouran's growing tourism industry. In order to promote Zhouran's unique culture, history and traditions to the rest of the world, the Ministry of National Culture promotes various artistic programs include the production of performances, parades, exhibitions, cultural research, outreach, preservation, and publication of materials on Zhouranese art and culture. This year's theme is "Celebrating the Foundation of Zhouranese Civilization" and as a result, many of the programs will focus on Zhouran's prehistoric, ancient and medieval histories. According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of National Culture, the reason why this year's theme was chosen was because "foreigners are unaware that Zhouran's history spans longer than that of China's". "Not only that, foreigners don't know much about Zhouran's history and how unique it really is compared to that of China's or Japan's" she stated. The spokesperson said that "Zhouran's proud ten-millennia history is one of the most unique in the world" and that "Zhouran's unique cultural and historical background differs completely from that of other oriental nations".
