Documents that were unsealed Monday showed that a federal grand jury indicted Manafort and his former business associate, Rick Gates. They were charged with conspiracy to launder money, conspiracy against the U.S., unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading statements surrounding the Foreign Agents Registration Act , false statements and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts.

Separately, George Papadopoulos, who served as a foreign policy adviser on Mr. Trump's campaign, has pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI as well. That statement had to do with the nature of his relationship with "certain foreign nationals whom he understood to have close connections with senior Russian government officials."

I expected it to be more than just Manafort to be honest.

I'm actually used to people being able to comprehend basic English verbage. Such as the term getting. When I say that I'm going to the movies, that usually implies that something might happen. Not that something has already happened. I thought it was rather obvious.

Also, I live in California, but even if Russia, if someone was to kill Gorbachev, I'd be screaming for a Jury Trial :)

Personally, I like Jury Trials, and not just because I'm a fan of Atticus Finch. Also, death penalty is banned in Russia, but knowing that requires basic knowledge of Russia, rather than knowledge of Hollywoodesque Stereotypes; then again, you probably think that "Borat is an accurate depiction of Kazakhstan"

Interestingly, this is the way most investigations of gangsters and mobsters are managed.

Well, given the members of Mueller's team ...

- Zainab Ahmad: assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of New York, specializing in terrorism cases[24]
- Greg Andres: former deputy assistant attorney general, managed foreign bribery division[25]
- Rush Atkinson: trial attorney in the DOJ fraud section[24]
- Peter Carr: team spokesman, a veteran DOJ spokesperson[26]
- Michael Dreeben: Deputy Solicitor General, who oversees the Justice Department's criminal appellate docket; an expert in criminal law[27][22][24]
- Kyle Freeny: attorney for the money laundering unit at the Department of Justice[28]
- Andrew D. Goldstein: former leader of the public corruption unit, Southern District of New York[29][24]
- Adam Jed: Attorney in the DOJ Civil Division, appellate section[30]
- Lisa C. Page: DOJ trial attorney in the FBI's Criminal Division Organized Crime Section; formerly an attorney in the office of the FBI general counsel[23]
- Elizabeth Barchas Prelogar: Assistant with the Solicitor General's office; fluent in Russian; former law clerk to Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan[31][24]
- James L. Quarles III: former assistant special prosecutor on the Watergate Special Prosecution Force[24]
- Jeannie S. Rhee: Partner at WilmerHale, specializing in white-collar crime; a former attorney in the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel and Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia[24]
- Brandon Van Grack: Justice Department national security division prosecutor[24]
- Andrew Weissmann: Chief of the DOJ Criminal Division's Fraud Section[16][24]
- Aaron Zebley: former chief of staff to Mueller at the FBI[24]
- Aaron S.J. Zelinsky: an attorney on detail from the U.S. Attorney's Office in the District of Maryland[33][34]

Boooooo...
Crimes committed by Muslims will be proof of a pan-Islamic plot and Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand, crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of mentally ill lone wolves who do not represent their professed belief system at all.
The probability of someone secretly participating in homosexual acts is directly proportional to the frequency and loudness of their publicly professed disapproval and/or disgust for homosexuality.
If Donald Trump accuses an individual of malfeasance without evidence, it is almost a certainty either he or someone associated with him has in fact committed that very same malfeasance to a greater degree.

Theoretically they could go on forever. I imagine there's a technical limit out there somewhere but the rule is, 500 pages and the thread gets locked.

While government officials in Washington and San Juan have argued over how a company from Whitefish, Mont., with connections to the secretary of the interior but only two full-time employees secured an emergency contract that requires the work of thousands of people, the majority of Puerto Rico is still without electricity, nearly six weeks after Hurricane Maria knocked down thousands of poles and lines.

See - this is why Puerto Rico needs representation in Congress. They're being treated like a colony. And Trump's treatment of them is just sad!
