"So. The original 1870-1900 RP was dead because Sceoji(the maker) became extinct. And the reboot and it's two OOCs went extinct as well! All due to unfavorable conditions and procrastination(don't worry guys, I got some part in that too!).
So I thought, "A reboot of the reboot is in order!", and I did so, to revive one of my favorite and most cherished RPs, one that I had partaken in nurturing.
Note, Sceoji and to some extent, Rannoria made all I'm about to post.
Here we go lads, let's make sure that this RP gets as many OOCs and ICs as TET does(though not as such, TET has no IC(but, this saying might still be confusing lol))."

Now it's still 2017 mates, but we're nearing late game, so why not celebrate with a new thread? This thread will be the next OOC thread for 1870-1920 Era War the Third, and and, guess what? That's right! New IC as well!. This OOC will be valid from when this thread ends or when the IC ends, God Emperor Rannoria told me so.
Though in all seriousness, people, colleagues... Friends, I thank you for all joining. It already feels like this has indeed blown up into something greater than Sceoji imagined, and even Rannoria, let's try to blow this thing out of the water, and into SPACE! Arengin, Wargloria, Traansval, Aclus, Rannoria, TTI, Skarten, Norcourt, Manticore(my man) and so many other nations involved in this, thank you, for expanding this glorious universe we created, let's expand this dong further shall we?

Other Info
This RP includes, but is far from limited to:

- Colonial uprisings as people began to grow frustrated with their overlords.

- Further colonization, and all out trade war

- A wide variety of interweaving alliances and things of such a nature

- late century politics, such as the belief your people's may be more civilized than another

- international incidents that explode over-night from something as small as a border skirmish over a heard of sheep

- pitched and unpitched battles ranging on the scales from a few hundred men to over a hundred thousand (no army will EVER be allowed to break 1 million.)

If anyone finds themselves interested, and actually replies to this, I'll have the application up first thing tomorrow; certainly hoping someone will as it's quite the interesting era.

Rules
To lay down some guidelines and rules of what will be expected in this forum:

1. No million man armies; the year has not been set, but it will be well before the time when any kind of army could hope to supply a million men on the same battlefield. Besides, dysentery is a nasty creature, and overpopulation tends to give it a boon.

2. No controlling other people's attacks, unit reactions, or anything of the like. This is a particular pet peeve of mine and it can ruin a good thread.

3. No shrugging off enemy actions like they don't affect you; it is okay on occasion to have a counter or to intercept the enemy's master-stroke, but you are not meta, and you will be unable to use Jax's E on URF and Counterstrike everything.

4. No name-calling (unless it's IC and pertains to the roleplay, foul language directed at other role-played, or anything otherwise unnecessarily hurtful. Constructive criticism is appreciated; bullying is not tolerated.

5. No spamming or posting out-of-character in the IC thread; we'll either keep this open for out of game chatter or start a new thread for it later on.

6. Non-human species will be allowed if this goes forward, so long as they have no INCREDIBLY overpowered aspects, or if it is a powerful aspect, it has drawbacks.
BIPEDAL SPECIES ONLY!

7. There will be drawbacks to whatever gear you choose for your men; it's just a fact. Do you want bullet-proof steel armor? Okay. But your men wearing this must be ENTIRELY immobile, as the weapons of the time were far better at penetration than muskets. Don't even try using loopholes and master wording.

8. Realistic accuracy and things of that nature; your scouts won't be able to open fire at other troops at 2 miles range, no matter how good they are with their rifles.

9. Berserkers are a no-go; you may have similar, or troops of imposing stamina, size, or ferocity but they won't be able to take ten shots from a high-powered rifle and keep on trucking.

10. Last but not least, no superweapons. You may design your own weapons if you so feel the need, but I'd prefer images be provided for realism, and you CANNOT have a weapon that can kill an entire army.

ARMY RULES!
Peacetime = No more than 1 million.

Wartime = No more than 3 million.

When you're getting screwed over real bad = Use all the population you have as long as it's realistic and won't screw your production over.

This looks like it has a lot of potential to be a really good thread! And so, without further ado, my application (excuse any mistakes I might've made and mistakes I might make in the future):

Nation name: Romanussia (Full name: The Democratic Crown of Romanussia)

National goals: To become the bastion of democracy of the world

Nation's Leader: King Michael the Great

National Government: A form of elective monarchy in which a people votes in a council of princes and boyars that rule states and counties and they vote for the placement of the Royal Family, who runs certain sets of operations within the nation along with convening with the council.

National history: Was once an ancient land called Dacia before being conquered by Romans and then experienced Roman withdrawal. After fending off the invading hordes, they reorganize into Dacia, then break up, then Middle Dacia remerges as a huge empire with control over the Holy Romanian Empire. Years later, a new state, Romanussia, has emerged from other empires from the ashes of the once great Middle Dacia. It becomes a powerhouse. Then, the people revolt and spearhead a new government: democracy. An elective monarchy is formed. Romanussia has finally earned the title of world power. It soon conquers other nations quickly, and now stands at peace.(That is the end of the history up to this point).

Greatest Weaknesses: Expenses are for now underlying, but could become an issue later

Some advise. First, fix up the OP. Looks horrendous.

Second, shorten it to 1900 imo, like the original. We extended it because we skipped 1880-1889 and went straight on to 1890.

Thirdly, don't make my mistakes.

Nation name: The Federal Union of Rannoria

National goals: To thrive. That's, uh, really it.

Nation's Leader: Grand Odjen Kar (Elections comin' up this year bois)

National Government: The current system is a democratic federation. First, there are governors elected for each province only by the province's people. After the governors are elected, the governors form an advisors council which (of course) advises the Grand. The Grand is soon elected on a national level, and (with the council) stays in position for 5 years where he either gets re-elected or voted out.

National history: Rannorians started out as people from Woollevia, Shoten, and Fengate. The first great divide between the Rannorian peoples was a religious issue. Those who hailed from Shoten followed a more polytheistic version of their religion and worshipped multiple gods, whilst those who hailed from Woollevia and Fengate worshipped a single god, deeming the other ones enemies of the god or his subordinate. This started the String War, which was won by the latter group, naming their religion Banjoism. That event still has an affect to this day, with Sitarists still vying for religious dominance in Rannoria and having Shoten be the only Rannorian province that does note have Banjoism as a provincial religion.

Of course, the Rannorians soon expanded eastwards. First they defeated the tribes that were in disarray in Lubezyk, then took down the United Kingdom of Gadras and Ave, which lay in Pasargad and Eglise Sainte Eve, then finally hit Maxtopia. The Maxtopians had a vast amount of land (though only owning Maxtopia nowadays) which equalled the size of Rannoria itself. The war took around 50 years to finish, with Rannoria declaring itself the victor. The day where Rannoria declared itself victor is known as the Day of the Rooks. There isn't much else of notice. Rannoria has kept itself at a pretty safe distance in international conflicts, and has retained the same borders.

But this is a new age.

The Executive Branch is made up of the Emperor and his Cabinet. The Cabinet is made up of the Prime Minister, Lord Exchequer, Secretary of State, Secretary of State for the Home Department, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Secretary of State for Defense, Secretary of State for Health, Secretary of State for Justice, Secretary of State for Education, Secretary of State for Trade, Secretary of State for Business and Industry, Secretary of State for Agriculture, Secretary of State for Transport, Secretary of State for Community and Local Government, Leader of the House of Lords, Secretary of State for Cadia, Secretary of State for Agathon, Secretary of State for Zarinth, Secretary of State for Colonial Affairs, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Secretary of State for Immigration, Leader of the House of Commons, and the Attorney General. National history: The Empire was formed in 1572 when the nations of Manticore, Cadia, Agathon, and Zarinth merged together to create the United Manticoran Kingdom. In 1610, the Kingdoms of Cadia, Agathon, and Zarinth were dissolved and the Kingdom of Manticore became the sole arbitrator of power in the Empire, reforming into the Manticoran Empire.

However, the Empire's history stretches back even further.

In 1058, Anglo explorers reached the lands that would become Manticore, Cadia, Agathon, and Zarinth. These explorers soon found themselves embroiled in warfare with the local tribesmen but, owing largely to their superior fighting skills and their use of longbows and crossbows, were able to conquer and subjugate the native populace. Over the next 500 years, however, the kingdoms would fight bitter wars between each other for dominance of their new home. Following the creation of the Empire, a massive push began to expand the Empire's borders by founding colonies across the globe. This is a gross over simplification, not helped by the loss of much of the historical record due in large part to 500 years of near constant warfare. What remains consists of contradictory accounts made by the various ruling houses, aimed at discrediting rivals while lauding allies, terms which regularly changed meaning. It was not until Aeron the Conqueror that peace was finally realized on Manticore. It was after the Conquest of the 16th Century and the Founding of the Empire that the Manticorans were finally able to come out of their shell and become a powerhouse. In an effort that took centuries, they advanced. Developing new ways of warfare and new techniques for shipbuilding, sailing, and administration, they spread out, taking over several island nations near them. While the Empire advanced to the south, they made attempts to colonize to the West. However, these attempts all failed.

Uniform: Similar to the Infantry, though it is often altered based on what kind of cavalry it is. Hussars and Lancers are generally issued Cuirrasses and helmets while Dragoons wear kepis and light cavalry wear shakos. Also distinguished by colored piping on trousers.

Pack gear: Similar to the infantry, though without the rucksack. Supplies are, instead, carried in saddle bags.

Greatest Strengths: Uses strong breeds of horses, such as Arabians for light cavalry and dragoons, Percherons for Hussars, and Oldenburgs for Lancers. This gives the Regiments the ability to excel at their tasks. The Cavalry are moving towards a single breed of horse for financial reasons.

Greatest Weaknesses: The variety of horse breeds leads to logistical complications and difficulties in training, as well as being extremely expensive.

Tactics: Dragoons will typical act as mounted skirmishers, riding around enemy formations before stopping momentarily to fire two or three shots before moving on. Light Cavalry are typically used to mop up fleeing enemies or route skirmishers. Heavy cavalry and lancers are used to break infantry formations following artillery attacks.

Specialty: Dragoons are specialized in raiding and ranged combat. Light Cavalry are specialized in rapid movement and scouting. Hussars and Lancers are specialized for assaulting infantry blocs.

Political map updated, also, Rannoria, I also gave you two other colonies than the islands you wanted, as they seemed too far away from your mainland.
