I know this is unrelated to this current RP, but I wished to share with you guys a character which I may potentially use for another KC RP far off as the MC. (Berm's already on board with the idea)

Oh. Thought the bath is actually okay with males and females bathing together.

Or maybe because the four are friends that does not know anything about that.

And what about other people in the common bath?

Lunas Legion wrote:Well, I'm late as usual. Any ship types we need, since if not I'll roll with an aircraft cruiser of some description.

Good morning, LL, no problem with being fashionably late. We could use a few escorts, though, Destroyers and Light Cruisers.

Robosia wrote:Well crap, I just read the rules over again and I don't think I'll be allowed to join. Would it be possible to make an exception? I already wrote out a whole application for my character.

Depends on what that character would entail.

Technical Description of the vessel: One of the numerous Sakhalin-Class Carriers of the Armarusian Navy, it was a modified design of the Centerican Lacey-Beach Class. Built during the height of the Continental War, when Karbadino was commissioned it was quickly sent out into the sea war with a small complement of aircraft. It participated in the Battle of Mallard Trench, where four Jaipurian Aircraft Carriers were sunk, in a support role with recon. Although present at Mallard Trench, it was not accounted for in the main Armarusian strength due to it's role of strict support. It also participated in the First Battle of Song-Che, before being recalled and sent to the largest naval battle in history, which was the Battle of Marconasta Gulf.

Participating in this battle with ships from Engrandonica, Centenniality, and Tricentennial, this battle involved more than ten carriers, numerous battleships, cruisers, destroyers, and submarines. Karbadino was one of the Armarusian Carriers sent, and their job was to be a decoy for the aircraft from the Jaipurian Carriers that remained. During operations near the coast, an Armarusian Task Force, consisting of the carrier Karbadino, the heavy cruisers Nominiv and Sotramov, the light cruisers Arley, Udaloy, and Riga, and 12 destroyers, went under attack by the Jaipurian Forces. The Light Cruiser Riga and the Heavy Cruiser Sotramov sunk, and the Karbadino took a devastating bomb hit that blew through the armored flight deck and detonated in the hanger, blowing up parked Yak-3Ps in the hanger bay. This bomb also blew off the ship numerous AA guns, and destroyed all the aircraft in the hanger bay, as well as cutting off electricity to the entire ship and blowing up the CIC room. This hit, coupled with the plane itself smashing into the deck, threatened to sink the ship, but heroic efforts by the crew successfully stabilized the ship, and the Karbadino was sent back to Armarus for repair, being relieved by the carrier Adenza.

Spending the rest of the war in repair after almost being sunk, the ship was at Permgarod Naval Shipyard when hostilities ended in 1944. After the war, the ship was upgraded with three massive elevators on the side, since due to it's battle damage it was able to be extensively overhauled. It was lengthened, and the flight deck was strengthened with more armor. The ship also received basic steam catapults that were able to propel aircraft at high speeds, but were prone to breaking down. In spite of this, the ship was able to launch the heavier jet aircraft such as MiK-17s, MiK-15s, Il-28s, and soon, the advanced MiK-21. The ship would be recommissioned in 1949, and would serve in the Armarusian Navy until the breakup of the union. Following this, she was retired by the new Yuktobanian Navy, and eventually placed in reserve status.

Technical Description of the vessel: Lead ship of her class, most decorated ship in Armarusian and Yuktobanian History, and the flagship of the Armarusian Fleet during the Continental War, the Enterprisa is on par with names such as Ark Royal, Warspite, Iowa, Huntington, Yamato, and Bismarck as one of the most famous ships in history. Constructed before the Continental War started, it was an enlarged version of the preceding Uzznechz class of carrier. It was to carry 90 aircraft in order to do strikes against the enemy battleships, which, at that time, were the most dangerous part of the Jaipurian/Zerlinz Navy. When she was commissioned, she first acted as a training carrier before taking in a complement of Yak-1s, Il-2s, and YAI-2s for maritime deployments around the Svengard Island to deter Zerlinz from making any moves. In late 1927, the ship was sent to northern Armarus to attempt to break the stalemate in the trench warfare in the north, but was unsuccessful, and so went back to patrols in the south.

In a December morning while patrolling around Svengard, the ship was returning back to port in Talisgrad when it received word that Jaipuria and Zerlinz has used aircraft from aircraft carriers and bombed Kiril Naval Base in the Kiril Islands. Upon learning of this, the ship was immediately ordered to head to Kiril Naval Base and take a complement of aircraft, where she would proceed to search and destroy the Combined Fleet of Zerlinz and Jaipuria. Upon arriving in Kiril Naval Base, the devastation was clear. Most of Armarus's battleships were sunk, with the Battleship Progavida having had a magazine explosion and taking numerous lives. The ship was quickly loaded with it's new complement of aircraft, and was organized into Carrier Division 2, and soon after she was sent out to the war.

The first major battle the Enterprisa participated in war the Battle of Izal, which was near the small island of Izal, the farthest Armarusian Territory. It was of utmost strategic importance, since the island hosted an airfield, and so it was prime that Enterprisa would defend the island before a relief force was sent to garrison. When Enterprisa and Carrier Division 2 arrived, there was an opposing enemy task force led by the Zerlinz Light Carrier Noshyuu and supported by cruisers and destroyers of the Zerlinz Naval Force. Following up on intelligence from a Centerican Submarine, the Enterprisa launched the first attack, comprised of YAI-2s loaded with 500kg bombs and Yak-1s to protect it. The problem was that the force of aircraft was unable to detect the enemy fleet, and thus went the wrong way. While the planes searched for the enemy fleet and the Noshyuu, the planes from the Noshyuu attacked. Putting up an effective flak screen, the Enterprisa avoided being hit by bombs or torpedoes. A light cruiser was hit, but didn't sink. While the enemy aircraft returned to the Noshyuu, the Armarusians turned the correct direction and dove upon the Noshyuu. In what was the first flagship lost by Zerlinz, the Noshyuu was hit by a combined total of 2 bombs and one torpedo, making the ship list and sink. This battle also showed that the YAI-2 was obsolete, and the plane was thus removed from service.

After the Battle of Izal, the Enterprisa underwent an upgrade package in Permgarod that added more AA guns, specifically newly developed 40mm L/80-1s, licensed copies of the 40mm Bofors Autocannon, and 20mm Oerlikon AA Guns that supplemented the L/20-1 28mm AA gun. After setting sail again, the ship joined it's sister Ademinav in the Battle of Kendorno Peninsula, where the ship engaged a surface raiding force attempting to disrupt the lend-lease supply to Armarus. In this battle, the Enterprisa was hit by a torpedo dropped by a Jaipurian B5N which flooded the lower engineering rooms and one of the boiler rooms. Hit with a slight list, the ship returned to port once again in Permgarod, where the damage was repaired. She was in the drydock next to the Aircraft Carrier Lomonesev, it's other sister that was hit by two bombs in a separate battle around Ozov Island, which was currently a bloodbath. The three sisters of the Ademinav, Lomonesev, and Enterprisa would continue in convoy escort duties into the mid 1930s. The Enterprisa was the more active sister, being part of the Battle off Cape Luka, Battle of Zoton, and Battle of Niihan, in which her aircraft sunk numerous vessels, from supply ships to cruisers. Before undergoing another refit at Permgarod Naval Shipyard, the ship participated in the Battle of Tassenan, acting as aerial support and sinking two transports in the battle. The ship would then encounter the aerial group from the carrier Shoukaku, where the two carriers would engage in an air battle to gain air supremacy over Tassenan Island. The ships survived undamaged, but the air groups of both carriers were almost obliterated in a stalemate. Needing an air group and more AA, the ship once again arrived at Permgarod Naval Shipyard to undergo a refit that added more 40mm and 20mm AA guns, while also removing some 28mm AA guns and replacing them with 76mm BDV-31 Dual Purpose Guns. A Centerican-made Air Search Radar was also added to the ship's tripod mainmast. These upgrades would ultimately save the ship in the upcoming battle. It was the battle that made the ship famous in the Armarusian Navy.

The Battle of Mallard Trench.

While Enterprisa was in port undergoing upgrades, the Centerican Naval Intelligence broke the Jaipurian code, and had decoded numerous messages from Jaipurian Naval Command to the respective fleets. One of these was a message detailing an "Operation Kodama" that was to begin on June 4th. Exact details about the operation were unknown, but the main facts were that they were going to a plot of water southwest of the Kiril Islands, and that the operation involved four of Jaipuria's best aircraft carriers, namely the Zuikaku, Kaga, Akagi, and Hiryuu. These carriers were to head to this plot of water to potentially endanger not only shipping in the area, but also lend lease convoys and ships returning from the battles around Ozov to conduct repairs. Due to this, the allied forces mustered whatever forces they could lend to the defense and elimination of the four carriers. Centered around the aircraft carrier Enterprisa, which had just finished it's upgrade, the task force would have Enterprisa's sisters, the Lomonesev and Ademinav, as part of the task force as well. These three carriers were against the Jaipurian Combined Fleet, the ones responsible for the attack on Kiril Island.

It was time for revenge.

On June 4th, the two fleets met in what is the most decisive battle in naval history. Launching strikes against the Allied fleet, the Jaipurian D3A1s failed to find them due to miscommunications between the recon force and the main force. This was the ultimate failure, as the allied fleet spotted the Jaipurian fleet with recon planes and dove for the attack. Pe-2s, Il-2Ts, and newly developed Yak-3Ns were used to great effect. Two bombs hit the Hiryuu, bursting the deck into flames. One torpedo and three bombs hit the Kaga, ripping the wood flight deck to shreds and disfiguring the metal underneath. Three torpedoes hit the Akagi, causing it to list and eventually flip over. Within the first five minutes of the engagement, the Jaipurians had lost three out of the four carriers. The fourth, the Zuikaku, had escaped and headed south to retreat back to Jaipuria, since it's mission was a failure. While it was steering away, it launched a sortie using the aircraft it had, and launched an attack on the group. Although having numerous AA guns, the Zuikaku managed to score two bomb hits on the Enterprisa, causing damage to the island of the ship and to the flight deck, having ripped off a corner of it. The Enterprisa was lucky though, because it's sister suffered a fate worse than death. The Lomonesev was set afire from five bomb hits, and was listing due to torpedo damage below the waterline. This would prove to be too much for the damage control team to handle, as the ship would sink the next day. In an act of revenge, the aircraft from Lomonesev and Enterprisa flew at the Zuikaku, doing the final bomb and torpedo run against it and destroying the Zuikaku in a tremendous explosion from two bomb hits and three torpedo hits. The mission a success, the allied fleet limped back home, with the Ademinav missing most of it's air group from the initial attack that sank the three carriers, and the Enterprisa heavily damaged from a bomb hit.

Arriving in Permgarod for desperately needed repairs. Enterprisa underwent another overhaul, the flight deck being strengthened and repaired,
along with the hanger being enlarged slightly to accommodate more aircraft. After this overhaul and upgrade, the ship was dispatched to the southwest, heading to the Huang Zhe Islands to participate once again in the warzone around Ozov Island. While patrolling around with her task force, recon aircraft reported a Jaipurian Task Force in the vicinity, 200 miles away from Enterprisa. In the now known Battle of the Eastern Ozov, the Enterprisa dueled with the Jaipurian Aircraft Carrier Ryuujou, with each side sending aircraft after eachother in order to sink the enemy carrier. The aircraft from Ryuujou, comprised of D3A1s and the new B6N Tenzen. The enemy B6Ns were more maneuverable and faster than the older B5N, and this maneuverability made destroying them hard with large caliber guns. Nevertheless, the Battle was won when Pe-2s from Enterprisa dropped two 500kg bombs onto the Ryuujou, and sent it exploding due to magazine detonation. The battle was a hard fought and well earned victory, since it marked a turning point in the area around Ozov for the allied forces.

Continuing patrols in the area, Enterprisa eventually returned to Permgarod to undergo upgrades to the aerial search radar, and was then relieved of duty by the carrier Sakhalin before being deployed to the Archelan Ocean. Conducting numerous battles in the area, her awards and kill count continued to rack up, surpassing other vessels of the Armarusian Navy easily.

The next major battle the ship was in was the Battle of Marconasta Gulf. The largest naval battle in recorded history, the Allied Force aimed to isolate Jaipuria from the vast rubber supplies in Faos Doru. This operation was started by landing troops on Mariaconquista, a group of islands south of Jaipuria. The ship was assigned to the Fast Allied Task Force (A), a detachment of the Fast Carrier Task Force, which was the largest fleet ever assembled in human history. She was just one of the over fifteen aircraft carriers, and for the Armarusians, she was the designated flagship of the fleet. While the majority of the Armarusian Force lured the Jaipurian aircraft away, the Enterprisa was part of the main strike force in what was the Battle off Sano. Her aircraft, consisting of Pe-2MVs and Il-2Ts, attacked the Jaipurian Fleet that was trying to trap the allied task force in a decisive engagement. This plan failed over the next few days, since the Allied Fleet attacked the remains of the Jaipurian Carrier Force. The allied aircraft diving upon the Jaipurian Fleet, numerous carriers were struck. The Flagship Taihou was subject to three torpedoes, which, coupled with construction defects, blew up the fuel reserves and sank the ship with the loss of all it's crew. The carrier Aso, an Unryuu-Class Carrier, was hit by Pe-2s from Enterprisa, blowing holes in it's flight deck and setting it aflame. The fleet placed in reserve, consisting of the carriers Masa Maru, Unryuu, Katsuragi, and Souryuu were completely destroyed. The Masa Maru was set alight by high explosive bombs dropped from the Centerican Carrier UES Hill 99, it's deck permanently disfigured. The Unryuu was struck by more than seven torpedoes on the starboard side by Il-2Ts from Enterprisa, causing it to rapidly roll over and sink. The Katsuragi was struck by bombs from Enterprisa as well, causing a tremendous magazine explosion that killed all the crew. The Souryuu was struck by torpedoes from an Engrandonican Submarine, the ship slowing down and becoming prey for torpedo bombers from Enterprisa, causing it to eventually have to be scuttled by Jaipurian Destroyers. In the air, the air groups of the allied force and the enemy Jaipurians flew and attacked eachother, casualties mounting on both sides.

Although scoring numerous capital ship kills in the battle, Enterprisa was not spared. While heading back to rendezvous with the detachment of Armarusian ships, six planes descended from above. Six highly agile D4Ys dove upon the task force, and two of the D4Ys smashed into the Enterprisa. Fully laden with armor piercing bombs and fuel, the first plane penetrated the flight deck and blew up in the hanger, the fuel spilling and turning the hanger into an inferno. The second aircraft, luckily, smashed into the flight deck and the debris flew across, doing minor damage to the ship. Other ships in the task force weren't spared. The battleship Tallinn was hit by a single kamikaze that caused fires on her side. The destroyer Ena was hit and sunk, the crew jumping overboard. With this event in the largest naval battle in history, it showed to the world truly what the Jaipurians were willing to do to stop an invasion of their homeland and captured territories. They had decided to inflict massive losses by using bomb and fuel-laden aircraft, preferably high speed ones such as the D4Y. These were special mission aircraft.

Kamikazes.

Unable to participate in major repairs back in Permgarod due to being the only remaining Armarusian Carrier in the south due to the retreat of the Karbadino after a deadly bomb attack, the Enterprisa was sent to Izal Island, the same island she fought to retake at the beginning of the war, to do some basic repairs. her flight deck was patched up haphazardly, and a replacement complement of aircraft was loaded, among them being the new Yak-3P, the best carrierborne aircraft the Armarusians had. After repairing at Izal, Enterprisa was sent back to the frontline, becoming once again the flagship of the Armarusian Fleet in the south. The Armarusian Task Force was then sent to support the massive island invasion of Milliann Mountain, helping with air support and shooting down some kamikazes. Afterward, the Enterprisa was sent to the south again, forming up with the newly arrived Arcadia as she participated in the last major carrier battle of the war, which, to an extent, was the last battle of the Battle of Marconasta Gulf.

The Battle of Cape Manyala.

The Battle of Cape Manyala involved primarily Armarusian Vessels, with the fleet centered on the two carriers Enterprisa and Arcadia. They were up against a carrier fleet consisting of reinforcements from Zerlinz. These were the carriers Sanayuu, Jun'you, and Taiyou. Enemy aircraft being detected on Enterprisa's air search radar, the Armarusians were able to send up a combat air patrol and shoot down the enemy aircraft, consisting of D4Ys and B6Ns, before they encountered the fleet. Mounting an air attack of their own, the Armarusians sent up Pe-2MVs into the air, just as they have done numerous times in the past. The Pe-2MVs diving upon the enemy carrier group were carrying larger bombs, namely 1000kg armor piercing bombs. Diving into the fray, the Sanayuu had a tremendous magazine explosion, with the Jun'you and Taiyou being set on fire and being left abandoned and drifting before being scuttled later by Jaipurian cruisers. The Battleship Owari was also sunk in this battle, having been bombed and strafed by Pe-2s. As the last Jaipurian and Zerlinzian ships left Mariaconquistan waters, the Battle of Marconasta Gulf was finally over.

Finally having a chance to return to Permgarod, the Enterprisa was soon finally repaired and received upgrades to the AA armament, replacing the last of the 28mm guns with 76mm guns to deal with Kamikazes. Missing the landings on Si-Loh, which were the last major landing operations before the end of the war, the ship still had a single battle to fight. On it's way to reinforce the fleet stationed off Si-Loh, the Armarusian Task Force came upon some disturbing news. It appeared that the Zerlinz Navy was making a final ditch effort to rid of the Armarusians off the island, and will do anything to get them off. The Zerlinzian Navy was sending the last remaining surface combat ships it currently had to do a suicide mission against the forces at Si-Loh, which included the pride of the Zerlinzian Navy.

The Yamato.

Panicking at the information, a task force was thrown from whatever ships were available to protect the landings. Ships from the newly reunified Helmanstend, including their battleship Oured (A remnant and war prize of the Fascist Northern Helmanstend and the only ship to have previously fought the Yamato in a 1 on 1 duel.), assisted the Armarusian efforts in preventing a counterattack. The might of the Armarusian Carrier Fleet was mustered, with air command being placed on Enterprisa. Enterprisa led a force of carriers consisting of her sister Ademinav, Arcadia, Karkiev (Then the oldest carrier in Armarus), Sakhalin, Krasnodar, Adenza, Tyunezh, and Uzznechz. This force was augmented by the light carriers Saratonav and Nionanv. In case of surface action, fast battleships such as the Kiril, Ural, and Czrozny were placed with the battleships Dromodesev, Dvlinsk, Permgarod, and Khabovask to prevent interference. It was a true show of not only Armarusian desperateness to kill and sink the ships, but also a demonstration of allied superiority at this late stage of the war.

In the early morning, recon aircraft from Si-Loh reported the large Zerlinzian task force moving toward Si-Loh. Deciding that now was to be the time to do a final strike and a final blow to the enemy, the carriers launched their aircraft. Pe-2MVs, and Il-2Ts were sent up with their payloads ready as they flew toward the target. Upon arriving at the enemy task force, they started the attack. The Yamato put up a barrage of AA, and started doing a zig-zag pattern in an effort to dodge the bombs and torpedoes. The ship even resorted to using the main battery of 460mm guns loaded with Type 3 Beehive shells in order to shoot down the aircraft. This effort was futile though, as the Yamato was hit with numerous bombs. One bomb hit the armored mast, destroying the gun control system, while another blew a hole in the hanger in the back. Another bomb had hit the side, causing numerous fires on the ship and setting off AA ammunition. The Il-2Ts dropped all their torpedoes on the starboard side of the ship, causing a dangerous list as the engine room of the ship was eventually flooded with seawater. Aircraft from the Enterprisa dropped their payloads on the deck of the ship, showering the area in fire and debris. As more torpedoes hit the Yamato, the ship eventually took a dramatic list and flipped over, the fires inside the mighty beast eventually consuming it and causing a tremendous magazine explosion that was seen from over sixty miles away. Yamato's escorts were also eliminated, with the only surviving ship being the light cruiser Fanaka. This battle marked a turning point in World History. The age and chapter of ships with guns firing at each other was finally drawn to a close, and air superiority had triumphed above all. It showed that the mightiest and strongest ships on the planet were easily sunk by aircraft.

The complete destruction of the enemy fleet that attempted to conduct Operation Ten-Go was the final major action that the Enterprisa served in. Spending the last few months of the war providing support and dropping air-dropped ocean mines all over the ports of Zerlinz, the war ended on August 11th, 1944. The war that spanned more than 30 years and had engulfed the world was finally over. Enterprisa had come into the war as one of the Armarusian Navy's newest ships, and had come out of it a battle scarred and decorated veteran. It was time to take a rest.

Returning to Permgarod, the ship was welcomed by the citizens in joy and happiness. After the war, due to the Sakhalin-Class carriers being a newer design, the Enterprisa and it's sister, the Ademinav, were placed in reserve, joining their cousins Arcadia, Tyunezh, and Uzznechz, and their mother, the Karkiev. After two years, the Communist Party of Armarus decided to reactivate the Enterprisa, along with it's sister, and extensively upgraded them. Enterprisa would serve as the designated Flagship of the Armarusian Fleet until 1972, where she finally received her rest from frontline service. Being decommissioned, she was turned into training aircraft carrier AVT-41, her name being removed from the register. Serving in this role, the ship saw the breakup of the Union of Armarusian Republics, which meant the end of communism in her country. The new Yuktobanian Navy, noticing the Enterprisa, decided to honor the former flagship of the Armarusian Navy and most decorated ship in the nation's history by naming the new class of Nuclear Carrier after the Enterprisa. Her name would serve into the future generations, protecting the now Yuktobanian Nation from enemy threats. Meanwhile, the Ex-Enterprisa served as an aviation training aircraft carrier into the 1990s, where the ship was finally retired for good, and became a museum ship.

It was finally time to rest.

Technical Description of the vessel: Class leader of the Tallinn-Class Battleships, and a decorated vessel of the Armarusian Navy, she was built with an odd turret layout. Right after being commissioned, the ship was attached to the Homeland Defense Fleet, where she was tasked with defending the port cities of the then Yuktobanian Empire. Due to the start of the Continental War in 1911, she was placed on high alert. When the Communist revolution occurred, she was one of the ships who mutinied to the communist side. The Yuktobanian Empire, now the Union of Armarusian Republics, then ordered the ship to conduct a variety of missions, such as naval gunfire support and convoy escort. This lasted until 1924, where she went into Dromodesev Naval Shipyard to undergo a massive overhaul that replaced her cage masts with armored tripod ones,
and enhanced the engines while receiving torpedo bulges. In this first major overhaul, she also received some 28mm guns for better AA protection. After leaving Dromodesev, she joined the 1st Battleship Squadron, and was homeported in Kiril Bay.

In December 1927, the ship was in harbor with most of the Armarusian Surface Fleet. It was doing exercises the week prior, and that morning the carrier Tyunezh was going to appear in the harbor for a refit. The morning air was then pierced by the sound of aircraft flying overhead. Looking at the aircraft, sailors could suddenly tell that the aircraft were from Zerlinz and Jaipuria, with the distinctive red star on the plane's wings. As the air raid siren rang out, a new chapter of the Continental War had begun.

The Battle of Kiril Bay

The Tallinn was moored near the other battleships of the Armarusian Fleet. Her men manning their battlestations, the 28mm guns started shooting into the air as bombs from Jaipurian D3A1s were dropped all over the harbor. Infront of the Tallinn, the Battleship Progavida was attempting to restart it's engines when a bomb had hit the ship, showering debris onto the Tallinn. The Captain of the Tallinn, just returning to the bridge after being woken up by explosions, ordered the moorings to be cut and the boilers started. Since the Tallinn was testing it's boilers that morning,
the ship was able to start up and actually proceed under power to exit Kiril Bay. With the assistance of harbor tugs, the ship, in the middle of the attack, was able to get underway, passing by the Progavida, which had suffered a tremendous magazine explosion that sank the ship instantly in the harbor waters. Tallinn was then targeted by the Jaipurian and Zerlinzian bombers, where she was hit by a total of ten bombs and five torpedoes as she attempted to exit the harbor. Almost colliding with the Light Cruiser Nuzniki, the ship was then beached to prevent closing the only entrance to Kiril Bay. Being hit by more bombs, by the end of the day the ship was on fire from bow to stern. The Tallinn was just one of the numerous ships that were sunk or damaged that day. The Nuzniki had sank in shallow water, the Progavida had suffered a tremendous magazine explosion that destroyed the ship, and the Saratov, Tallinn's sister, had flipped over and sank. The Battleships Permgarod, Dromodesev, Khabovask, and Jilachi were all on fire from spilled oil, and the destroyers docked nearby were sunk in shallow water.

Taking a year to clear the damage in Kiril Bay, the Tallinn was raised and towed to a nearby drydock, where she underwent slight repairs before being sent to Dromodesev Naval Shipyard. Upon arriving at Dromodesev, the ship was subject to one of the most comprehensive upgrades in Armarusian Naval History, where the ship's entire structure was altered. Her 28mm Guns were replaced with 40 and 20mm guns, while her engines had upgrades to slight add to the speed of the ship. The Ship's superstructure was drastically altered, the shape looking like a modernized Kiril-Class instead of an old battleship. On top of that, a new dual-purpose battery was added, with new BDV-36 127mm guns dotting the side in dual turrets. An advanced Fire Control radar, derived from a Centerican one, was added, which gave the ship ability to attack in the night. This upgrade took many years to accomplish due to wartime tasks, but when it came out of the shipyard the Tallinn was a totally new ship.

Going to Permgarod Naval Shipyard for a new crew complement and some minor tweaking to the FCS, as well as loading new shells, the Tallinn then proceeded to numerous islands around the Archelan Ocean, supporting marine landings with her 14-inch shells. Doing this for a few years,
she wouldn't see her combat debut against another ship until much later. Becoming attached to the Fast Carrier Task Force (A) in the south,
the Tallinn then proceeded into her first large scale naval operation.

The Battle of Marconasata Gulf.

Being part of the strike force that was tasked to defend Korno Strait, the ship was joined by Centerican Battleships and Armarusian Battleships,
some of which were present at Kiril Bay when the naval war started and were drastically upgraded. Supporting this large surface battle fleet were numerous cruisers and destroyers, tasked with protecting the landings on Mariaconquista. On a lone night, the Tallinn, along with the Armarusian and Centerican Battleships, were waiting when suddenly the Jaipurian main surface force showed up. Wanting to run the gauntlet, the Jaipurian fleet needed to pass by the fleet guarding Korno Strait to attack the landing force. Due to faulty intelligence and communications, they were given reports of a much smaller fleet guarding Korno Strait. Arriving at the strait were the battleships Yamashiro, Ise, Hyuuga, Fusou, and Tsushima. In what was the last Battleship on Battleship duel in the world, the first shots were opened up by the Battleship Czrozny, the 16-Inch shells of the ship slamming and causing the Battleship Ise to fall out of line, sinking a few minutes later by torpedoes launched by the destroyers who supported the main force. The Jaipurians were now in a trap, and were the focus of heavy fire from the Battleships of the allied fleet. The Tallinn, upon getting close, was able to fire numerous barrages of her 14-Inch shells, the shells slamming into the cruiser Maya and causing the ship to sink. The Tallinn's advanced fire control radar was helpful, since the inferior Jaipurian radars were problematic with ground clutter from the islands nearby. Firing more barrages, the Tallinn, along with the other battleships, showered the Tsushima in shells, causing fires that were visible from the firing position. Attempting to retreat, the Jaipurian Forces then had to run another gauntlet of torpedoes, which caused the sinking of the Battleships Hyuuga and Fusou. With the sinking of the Fusou, the last barrage fired by a Battleship against another Battleship was the Armarusian Battleship Permgarod, firing a full barrage of 16-Inch shells.

This era of naval warfare had come to a close.

After that, the ship was once again deployed around in a naval gunfire support role, aiding the forces landing on Si-Loh. She was scrambled upon the learning of Operation Ten-Go, but did not engage the Yamato due to the carrier aircraft sinking the ship before it got to Si-Loh. When the Continental War ended, the Tallinn, due to it's age, was placed in reserve. Quickly deemed too old to participate in the reserve fleet, the ship was towed to Rogek Atoll and become one of the naval vessels participating in Crossroads, the atomic bomb tests after the war. In the first test, she was painted a bright red to distinguish her from the rest of the ships, and the bomb detonated nearby, causing her superstructure to crumble and one of her turrets to be blown off. She survived this test, and was subject to another shot, this time underwater. In the same bomb that sunk the former carrier Arcadia, the Jaipurian war prize battleship Mutsu, and the battleship Shetemevo, the bomb detonated and crumpled the underside of the ship like paper. The ship would sink in the waters of Rogek, forever buried there.

Speed: 34 knots (63 km/h)
Complement: 403 officers and crew
Armament: 8 x 5-Inch (127mm) BDV-36 DP

200 x MBU-600 Anti-Submarine Mortar
Armour: Weak.
Notes: Although looking "advanced", the ship's ASG-2s were problematic, and it's AA suite was lacking in aspects. It was also fitted with a poor fire control director and used outdated torpedoes.

Technical Description of the vessel: The ultimate definition of a destroyer leader for the Armarusian Navy, the Vaspairo was just one of the five destroyers of the Noza-Class. Commisioned in 1942, the ship was commissioned too late to participate in any surface actions. Spending the Continental War in convoy escorts and supporting operations on land, when the war ended the Vaspairo was sent to it's homeport of Lahmba, where she remained for a few years in reserve. Being recommissioned, the ship received an upgrade in 1950, removing the Continental-Era weaponry it had and replacing it with then state of the art weaponry. This included the very problematic ASG-2, which was prone to misfires and slow turn rate. With the failure of the ASG-2 program after the Noza-Class demonstrated it's ineffectiveness in combat, the class was quickly retired after what seemed only a few years in service, eventually being scrapped in the 1960s.

Example-Application

I'm not sure about all four of them... the formalities fit, though. Hm... the main problem I have is, that Tallinn and Enterprisa are heavily copied from their 'RL-counterparts' in the history department. From what I can see, Vaspairo is okay, though.
In need a second opinion. Rustyal, what do you think?

Image or description of the ship girl/boy: Very short for her size. Naval conscript uniform, short dark brown hair. Blue eyes. Smol neko loli.
Gender: Female
Character: The Krozovoy-class is the ship version of a Rustyan conscript- extremely patriotic, and extremely expendable. With the destroyer's primary use being to support the larger battleships, K591 herself is very fond of being with capital ships, especially when they appreciate her by providing headpats [atleast, that's how she interprets it.]
Special abilities: THE SEA. IS NOW. TORPEDOES. HOLY HELL, THIS DESTROYER CAN TORPEDO THE LIVING CHRIST OUT OF ANYTHING THAT EVEN THINKS TO SET FOOT ON KANMUSU WATERS.
Technical Description of the vessel: The Krozovoy-class destroyer is the most numerous of all Rustyan DDs- Unit K591 means that she's the 591th unit of 'C' class destroyers. Yes, there are so many destroyers that they can't name them all. The Krozovoy has seen lots of use throughout the second World-War [Rustyal's lore version of it, atleast] in which it was almost the backbone of many assaults. The Krozovoy is the living incarnation of hell as it's often paired in groups of 5-20 of its own class, primarily supporting the larger capital ships.

Then I'm glad, that we understand each other. Photo equipment would be a better idea, though, and it would be allowed to be used at some point.
And yes, there was a reconnaissance version of the Savage, but even if not, what would hinder us in developing one?

Arkana, is the murderous dictatorship you're referring to is the other Novayan Confederation or the Greater Germanic Reich?

If any of you people want to know what this other Novaya's been referred to, this other Novayan Confederation is a democracy, where citizenship can be gained through military service. Think of Starship Troopers' Earth Federation. It was formed from the Sovereignese State, the Kingdom of Bavaria, the Federal Republic of Alnoria, the Republic of Nemaria, the Varbosian Empire, and several free city states.

Personel file - Operational Sector Wide Sea - South West

Name: EPADS Hydrus
Type: Pre-Dreadnought Battleship
Class: Elis Class
Role: Long-Range Communications/Base Defence (She's too slow to be a proper fleet escort or raider, doesn't have the armour, armament or range for line battles and lacks the gun caliber for shore bombardment; won't stop her trying to get in on them)
Nation of origin: Elisos
Year commissioned: 1901
Image or description of the ship girl/boy: Here. She dyes her hair since otherwise it's grey and she doesn't like her age being obvious.
Gender: Female
Character: Considers herself to be a mentor-figure to everyone else, being one of the if not the oldest ship on the base. Although most of her advice is rather outdated, as she refuses to acknowledge the existence of carriers and calls them 'aircraft transports', she is probably the most experienced ship on the base given her near 50 years of service so some of it is still quite valid. She has a very good eye for strategy and tactics, having served through the greatest changes in naval doctrine since the introduction of the ironclad. Doesn't like people noting her age.
Special abilities: Despite her age, Hydrus has an extremely modern radar array and a long-range communications suite which was continuously upgraded until the end of her service.
Technical Description of the vessel:

The EPADS Hydrus was comissioned in 1901 under, oddly enough, the Elisosian Air Force; due to her posessing a floatplane, unlike her elder sister Elis, there was some debate over whether she should fall under air force or navy control. The air force won out due to political manuvering, and thus Hydrus was comissioned as the only ship to ever bear the prefix EPADS, signaling a ship under the control of the air force rather than the more normal ES. The Hydrus served for some 50 years under the EPADS designation; her first six years were spent attatched to the Second Home Battle Squadron, until the appearence of dreadnought-type battleships rendered her unsuited for the main line of battle. She was posted to the Third Colonial Area Fleet, where she fought several actions, first against the Azer Revolt of 1911 when the Kingdom of Azer revolted against Elisos' colonial rule, and then against Farsi and Estmerish ships stationed in the area during the Great War of 1925-1935. Although outclassed and outgunned, the Hydrus survived, although she was unable to prevent the enemy occupation of the Third Colonial Area. In the aftermath of the Great War, the now-outdated EPADS Hydrus was refitted and then continually updated with modern radar and communications systems, being primarily used as a picket ship to spot enemy aircraft and cooidinate allied aircraft/fleets outside of the range of land-based radar and communications systems over extremely long ranges. She continued to serve in this role, supporting the main Elisosian fleets during several wars of independence against Elisos' colonies in the wake of the Great War before finally being scrapped in 1947, when the last of Elisos' colonies became independent and there was no longer any need to keep the Hydrus in service.

Awesome, thanks.

Okay, where to start...
The day began normally, people going around and doing stuff considered a normal morning routine, before a supply convoy with attached reinforcements bound for us was attacked by the Abyssals. The ensuing battle was concluded with a decisive draw, with the supplies almost completely sunk, but most of the reinforcements arriving in more or less one piece, while the Abyssals took a few losses as well.
Coming towards midday, a second group of vessels was attacked by Abyssal Air Forces out on the ocean, a group around the carriers Kokai and Novaya scrambling to defend the two vessels, which turned out to be two other Novayan vessels, which they were well acquainted with, this battle concluding with damages to all units, but the Abyssal Air Forces being repelled.
All these actions of the day led the cruiser Rhiannon, a vessel of the SDF-Navy and the chief-paperpusher of the base, conclude, that they needed to overhaul the entire command structure in order to fight more effectively in the future. This led, as more and more people joined in, to a true conference happening in Conference Room Five of the Admirality Building.
In the baths, the battleship Diamantina, Dia for short, and the light cruiser Brightbell, both sitting in the female half, are relaxing in the repair bath while the latter plays music with her fairies.
Ámóg, or Amy for short, is wandering around and exploring the base on her lonesome while her fairies plan to defend the honour of 'Mommy Amy'.
Meanwhile, Fairy Shenanigans include the Novayan Fairies being put on a hold in their development of Wunderwaffen, resulting in them wanting to go and search for the ingredients of gunpowder, which is proposed by Rhiannon to become more of a general scouting mission. Also, a card game in the fairy restaurant has drawn numerous attention.
Did I miss anything important?

Mind if I have Hydrus show up for the conference then (even if she isn't invited, she'd likely show up anyways). Her lack of involvement in the various actions before can likely be explained by her slow speed and general lack of suitability for open battle.

I don't mind at all - in fact, everyone who hears of it is invited to participate. I'm sure, that the input of such a venerable vessel would be very welcome.

"gunpowder for surface to air and air to rockets"

... *Facepalm*

This isn't medieval China, we don't need black powder for rocket development. Not when there's at least two carriers I can think of off the top of my head who are carrying fighter/attackers who can equip rockets for ground attack.

I know. I use the word gunpowder because I do not know what explosive charges the anti tank rockets in WWII are using.

And my question regarding the murderous dictatorship?

Name: ANS Leopard
Type: Destroyer
Class: Leopard-class Destroyer
Role: Anti-Surface, Anti-Submarine, Anti-Air
Nation of origin: United Federation of North Arkana
Year commissioned: 1944
Image or description of the ship girl/boy:
Image

Gender: Female
Character: Live fast, die hard, take many with you. Leopard is a typical ANDF destroyer, and fully intends to live up to her naval tradition. She's somewhat hostile towards capital ships, especially if they're the type who neglect to understand how much they rely upon the "little ships". She is, however, one of the few ships Horizon allows to call her "Izzy".
Special abilities: Intensive training by her crew to be the best of the best of her class and type, has resulted in Leopard being one of the few destroyers of her type to ever achieve the maximum rate of fire from her guns on a regular basis, and regularly scored top marks in gunnery training and competitions.
Technical Description of the vessel: The Leopard-class was built to replace previous classes of destroyers constructed under limitations which resulted in compromises in design, reducing overall effectiveness. Additionally, earlier classes of destroyers suffered from lack of anti-air armament, which while rectified in the design immediately preceding the Leopard, was not fully resolved until the arrival of ANS Leopard, lead ship of her class. Leopard served with distinction in several surface engagements with enemy destroyers, and conducted a successful night torpedo attack against an enemy heavy surface force, scoring multiple hits on hostile vessels. In the later period of her war service, Leopard was assigned as an escort to Horizon's carrier group, and remained part of Horizon's task force until the 1962, when Leopard was mothballed, before finally being scrapped in 1968.

Notes:

The thing is, there aren't any real differences. The ships are just going to behave how their IRL counterparts would. There isn't much originality going on.

Also, holy shit, North Arkana, with planes that big, there is NO way you could launch those from aircraft carriers.

The Brits used Solventless Cordite, or Cordite SC, for their Z Battery and Unrotated Projectiles, some of which were highly ineffective. Don't know about the Germans, though.
As pointed out by the fairy, the SDF-Navy maintained a similar system on their 'male' cruisers, Lodan Lir, Ladra and Gavida, as well as some smaller vessels, for AA-work, while 'the gals', Rhiannon, Abhcan and Carman Fea, got more AA-guns for the same purpose.
EDIT: None of them are currently on base, though.

Name: ANS Leopard
Type: Destroyer
Class: Leopard-class Destroyer
Role: Anti-Surface, Anti-Submarine, Anti-Air
Nation of origin: United Federation of North Arkana
Year commissioned: 1944
Image or description of the ship girl/boy:

You could also consult this list for a more rounded list of carrier-operations by aircraft not developed for it through the ages. Some examples might not be from our time or smaller then the already quoted aircraft, or both, but some are - looking at you, Neptune.

EDIT: App was updated.
