Aboard the Star Destroyer Typhon

Admiral Ent'el awoke only to be blinded by bright floodlights. As her eyes slowly adjusted, she began to make out four figures looming over her. One was a stormtrooper Commander, impatiently tapping his foot and looking around the room; behind him were two naval troopers, standing vigil. The last was a tall, wrinkled man in an offwhite uniform, his rank plaque identifying him as a Major to anyone who cared. Tapping away at his datapad, he paid no attention to Ent'el for several moments before tearing his deep brown eyes away from the device and toward her.

"I see you've woken up, Admiral," the man said warmly, motioning with his right hand. The naval troopers and, begrudgingly, the stormtrooper, left the room. "Allow me to introduce myself; I am Major Deo, of the Imperial Security Bureau." He tucked the data pad under his arm and sat down in a metal chair beside Johanna's cot.
"Now, I understand you to be 'Admiral Johanna Ent'el'. Is that correct?"

Commodore Axon Karr

Axon's mind was swimming with all of the possibilities his victory could incur. A medal and decorations, certainly, that was almost a guarantee. Another promotion, so soon? Perhaps a remote possibility, but if not, it would certainly bring him a lot closer to his next rank up. Perhaps... Perhaps it would even warrant a special congratulations from the Emperor himself. Axon thought he deserved that, the Emperor's thanks, after a triumph of this magnitude.
Axon Karr, a name that would go down in the history holos...

"Commodore?" He was jolted from his fantasies.

"Yes, Lieutenant Rigel?"

"Sir... Shouldn't we be doing something about the planet? Every moment that we linger here the dissidents can use to fortify-"

"As you know, Lieutenant, I am waiting to speak with Grand Admiral Kuat. After talking with him, I will decide whether to invade Dac... Or to treat it to Base Delta Zero." Relishing in the shocked expression of the navigation officer, Karr explained: "The Mon Calamari and Quarren are two of the most prominent species which have defied the Empire. A reminder of its might and power would be well deserved, but, considering the current political climate, might be controversial."

Axon wanted nothing more than to devastate Dac. The knowledge that at his words millions, possibly billions, would be slaughtered, was amazing. He didn't want to think that it felt good; but in a way, it did. Besides, it was just filthy aliens down there anyways, and Rebels, at that.
Restoring his composure, the Commodore continued his patient wait for the Grand Admiral...

Johanna Ent'el
Aboard the Typhon

Johanna opened her eyes slowly, instantly regretting her decision. The lights stung, threatening to blind her if she wasn't careful. She took her time now, letting herself adjust. Then came the list of possibilities. Maybe she'd been picked up by a rescue squad after all. They were probably just keeping her safe in a medbay. That warm thought was interrupted as the figures came into focus. No, definitely not in rebel hands.

It was only once the other three left the room that Johanna tried to resist her binds, only to find herself hopelessly stuck. She chose to answer the questions now, seeing as her choices ran limited. "What's it matter? I won't say a word." She said stubbornly. She'd taken an oath, after all. Torture or none, she'd never say a word.

Command Bridge, Allegiance-class Battlecruiser Fealty, Chaardan Orbit

"Admiral? I have an incoming transmission from Commodore Karr, with Void-Hunter Squadron."

The communications ensign was dismissed with a curt nod, and Kuat strode several feet over to the relay index, gesturing peremptorily to the officer on duty there to open the channel. He hadn't been expect a transmission from Karr so soon, what with the campaign in the south-west only recently wrapped up and the current plan revolving around the rebel fleet one of cat and mouse. But the image of Karr flickered in to view all the same, and the Grand Admiral returned his subordinate's salute.

"Commodore Karr. A pleasant surprise, I hope. What news?"

Elsewhere Rear Admiral Jalith was talking to Commander Clixon of the Oblivion, recently returned from the pacification of the rebel elements on Wroona.

"The Grand Admiral appreciates your efforts, Captain. He assures me your assistance in this campaign has been noted for Imperial records with the Admiralty, and thanks you for your aid, though I believe now he is involved in conversation with one of the squadrons in the field against the rebels. Grand Admiral Grant noted that you are free to return to independent patrol, if you wish to do so, or else there is the matter of a rebel fleet said to be attacking the world of Jarkina near Ord Cestus, where your skill as a space combatant might prove useful."

Commodore Axon Karr

"Commodore Karr. A pleasant surprise, I hope. What news?"

Axon resisted the urge to grin as he spoke. "Admiral, I have great news to report. My fleet has not only captured the planets of Ruisto and Sanctuary, but we have also defeated the Rebel armada above Dac and captured the Mon Calamari shipyards. Damage was heavy but casualties few, aside from the Star Destroyer Despoiler, which was lost above Sanctuary, or so I've been led to believe.
In addition, we have captured a senior Rebel officer who may have been the commander of the enemy fleet, perhaps even the one who orchestrated those attacks on Lianna and Oseon."

The Major laughed wheezily at Johanna's resistance. He'd dealt with enough of these Rebels by now that it didn't matter; he knew how to wait them out.
"Very well, 'Admiral'," he said jovially, gathering up the data pad and rising to his feet." He gestured around to the room that had become Ent'el's prison; its walls were stark white and bare; there was no furniture aside from her stiff cot and a small refresher station. "This will be your home, until you're ready to talk. Your rations will be dispensed twice a day. If you decide you'd like to discuss anything with me, simply press the button on the side of the cot. Oh, and don't try anything; we're watching." Tapping a bony finger to his head, Major Deo turned and, humming good-naturedly, walked out of the room; a blast door sealed behind him, leaving Johanna completely to herself and her thoughts.

It was a classic technique; to leave the subject to stew and rot in nothing with their own mind to distract them. Once they'd been softened by a week or two of this painless torture, the real interrogation would start; that was, if Johanna hadn't cracked by then.

johanna Ent'el

She knew very well what would ensue if she remained quiet. And it seemed she had little other options. Johanna would have to think this through carefully. From what she noticed, the major was lightly armed. She could trick him, act like she'd gone insane or some other alternative. Her combat training was superb, which could work out to her advantage if a small scuffle ensued. Direct combat wouldn't be smart, though. She'd need to plan something out. Johanna knew that once they saw any sign of hostility, those doors would be on lockdown.

Perhaps she'd have to just wait it out. This thought only made her frown in frustration. She wanted a quick solution, one of her weaknesses. A rescue was surely being planned. She could just wait until that rescue arrived, then escape. Or she could take matters into her own hands once they transported her to an interrogation room. Well, assuming they would do. that. Johanna furrowed her brow in concentration, spending her waking hours formulating plan after plan, coming out with far more defective ones than efficient ones.

"So your stripping me of my command then?" He spoke to the council of Moffs, represented as miniatures on the small holoprojector on the desk. "Well, yes."

Before he could speak, one of the others cut him off. "Your actions and tactics were sound, and Admiral Thrawn was impressed that you had fallowed is formulas so well, but ultimately it cost the Empire the Tigris and her crew, losses that are not readily recoverable in your section of the galaxy." Markes thought of around 400 different curses he could sling at these men, by he held his tongue. "You are, hover ever, getting a new command. We have been looking over the data we have recovered from the Rebels activities, namely their combat strategy, and have devised a special compliment of star ships that will liekly be of use to you."

A document was sent to the projector, that in turn sent it to the small computer terminal embedded in the desk. Cyrus scrolled through the list, his eye brow raised. "So you still see the value of my skill then?" The moffs simply nodded. "Do not misunderstand this, Cyrus, your on probation, if you fail us again, you can kiss your rank goodbye." With that, the council of moffs, minus Kuat, who was otherwise unavailable, signed off.

He looked over the small strike force he was given.
Three Victory Class Cruisers, two Interdictor cruisers, two Raider class corvettes, and a flotilla of 4 Tartan patrol cruisers. IF he didn't know any better, he would say the moffs wanted him to beat the rebels at their own game.

The Grand Admiral's exhalation was one of pleasure, tension he hadn't realized he had in his chest suddenly released. His expression visibly worked with a smile before his self-discipline resumed a businesslike military visage.

"That is excellent news Commodore- the best I could hope for, in truth. The loss of the Star Destroyer is most unfortunate, with her casualties added to that of the Tigris, but in wartime sacrifices occasionally cannot be avoided even with the finest stratagems. To have the Mon Calamari shipyards out of commission.. yes, that is good news indeed. This will break the back of the Rebellion, if there is any justice in the galaxy."

Kuat nodded to someone the holovid feed couldn't take in, and then raised his eyes back to the Commodore's blue figure.

"If you control Mon Calamari's orbit, I trust you have already sent word to Commodore Anders' torpedo sphere. The Emperor wants the planet occupied, and that will require breaching their planetary shield. There are uncounted hidden aquatic shipyards in the oceans of the planet, if II is to be believed, and silencing their production lines will remove any ability to resist from the local rebellious elements."

A wave of a white gloved hand encompassed the invisible bridge behind the Grand Admiral.

"Myself and the Midnight Fleet and her auxiliaries are over Chardaan at the moment, but we have set course to arrive in your sector within the week. I had thought to use the raw power of the Fleet to crush the rebels on Mon Calamari, but as it is, it seems we will only be reinforcing a successful occupation. The Emperor has made it clear that the population of Mon Calamari is forfeit for their actions against the cause of order- the native Mon Calamari and their collaborators, the Quarren, will be relocated to the world of Wroona in the south Rim, every man, woman, and child. And resistance to the relocation orders is to be met with whatever force is deemed necessary, up to the bombardment of population centers."

There was a glint in the Admiral's eye as he thought of Palpatine's plan, a glint that bespoke the depths to which a man could sink in the pursuit of ambition and ideals.

"I will transmit the Emperor's precise details of the operation for your eyes only, Commodore."

The rebellious Mon Calamari and Quarren would never reach Wroona. They had risen against their human masters for the last time.

Captain Rudolf Clixon
Near Jarnika Space
Hyperspace

"Captain, ETA is 40 seconds"

Captain Clixon watched as the planet came into view, he also saw the rebel fleet, he first noticed the MC30c mon calomari ship, it would be the main threat, it was supported by a hammerhead corvette and 2 Nebulon Bs.

"All turbolasers target the Mon Calomari Crusier, fighters and bombers target the Nebulons and the Hammerhead."

The nearly 125 Turbolasers ripped into the MC30c reducing its shield fast while the tie bombers and tie fighters tore the Nebulon to shreds, they then targeted the Hammerhead which jumped to lightspeed and escaped. The MC30c struck back with a small volley of missiles which hurt the Oblivions shields. This lasted for a few seconds before the MC30cs shields went down and it was blown in half.

Commodore Axon Karr

Axon could see that his superior was relieved and jubilant. Letting the corner of his mouth twitch into a smile, he nodded once.
"Of course, Grand Admiral. I will carry out the Emperor's orders at once. The torpedo sphere should be coming out of hyperspace in minutes; planetary invasion will begin as soon their shield has been disabled. I trust we will speak again shortly, sir. Signing off."

Once Kuat's shimmering figure had vanished, the Commodore let out a satisfied sigh. "Very well, then men. We have our orders. Has the-"

"There's the torpedo sphere now, sir," one of his underofficers interjected.

"Never interrupt a superior officer," Axon said slowly, eyeing the humbled man as he shrank into the crew pit. "Now, the torpedo sphere is here, is it?" he continued briskly. "Establish contact, Lieutenant Thame."

"Commodore," a new, female voice came through Karr's comlink, "this is Captain Tochi, reporting for duty."

"Captain Tochi, how long will it take you to bring down the planetary shield?"

"Well, Commodore, my technicians will first have to find a weak spot in the shield, and then calibrate the tor- three or so hours, sir," she finished hastily, realizing that Karr wasn't there to learn about the intricacies of a torpedo sphere.
Axon sighed.

"That's fine. It will give me time to prepare the invasion force. Begin your calibrations, Captain, and report back to me when you are ready to fire."

"Yes, sir."

"Lieutenant Thame, order General Garr to the bridge." Within several moments a tall, gaunt officer had appeared before Axon, awaiting his orders.
"General, I understand that your stormtrooper battalions have been depleted during the boarding actions. This will be no problem. I've reassigned you to command the stormtrooper complements of Commodore Anders' fleet, along with the soldiers aboard that torpedo sphere. In addition, I've sent a request to Imperial Center for a crack force of aquatic assault troopers and AT-AT swimmers; they should be at your disposal within a few days, or a week, should they get tied up in red tape.

"Your primary objective will be to find and secure the underwater shipyards, which I understand will be difficult until those reinforcements arrive. In the meantime, there's something else to occupy your men: The Emperor has decided to deport both the Mon Calamari and Quarren populations from their homeworld for their petulance; you and your troopers will be tasked with rounding up civilians. All civilians; males, females, children, the elderly- none are to be spared. Bring them to the surface starports; a regular shuttle service will be picking them up.

"That is all, General; now, prepare your men. Within another three hours that planetary shield will be down, and you will be sent into action. I trust you can handle the rest."

When the General had been dismissed, Karr issued various other orders to various other underofficers. He assigned a detail of the least damaged Star Destroyers, the Dominion, Syclla, and Justicar, along with their escorts and a sizeable force of troopers under Commander Fyr, to raid Sanctuary and establish it as firmly under Imperial control. The most heavily damaged of his ships he sent under careful guard to the shipyards at Ruisto, where they would be able to more easily repair, as the Mon Calamari dockyards had been devastated during the battle and were being rebuilt themselves. He also made a note to personally check up on the situation with the Rebel Admiral.

Axon retired to his quarters, ostensibly to rest, and left orders for his men to rouse him once the torpedo sphere was ready to fire. When he was in the privacy of his bunk, however, he pulled out his personal data pad and began to read the orders that had, apparently, been personally dictated by the Emperor himself. An honor, indeed. Axon soon found that the deportation was nothing like it sounded.
Troubled and in no mood to rest, Karr resolved to distract himself by talking to that Rebel officer then and there.

Marching down into the detention block, he requisitioned elderly ISB Major Deo, who led him to Admiral Ent'el's cell. The heavy, shielded blast door slid open, and the Commodore and Major walked in, two naval troopers standing guard outside as the doors hissed closed.

"Ah, our Rebel Admiral." Axon scanned the woman carefuly with his steely eyes. The naval officer sat down next to Johanna's cot. Major Deo stood in the corner; he could easily be mistaken for one not paying any attention to the conversation, but he was actually soaking in every word. Though small blasters hung off of both of the men's hips, neither had used them for a very long time; and Deo, who would be in a better position to shoot or stun Ent'el, was also older and slower, his mind sharp but his body frail.
"So tell me," Karr asked, "are you the wily Admiral who led those attacks on Lianna and Oseon?"

He crossed his legs on the floor, motioning for her to do the same, "Hearing about your master is a shame, no good Jedi deserves death. We can only hope he is on with the Force now."
He took a moment to reflect, "You possess a particular nature which interests me greatly. You claim to study the ways of the Jedi, and are obviously well-versed in their traditions and restrictions. But you are not experienced in control, you anger easily and let your emotions control your actions and cloud your judgement."
He paused to let his words sink in,
"I will offer you a choice, either continue down this path, very well risking a turn to the dark side entirely. Or you become more then just 'light' or 'dark'. Become intertwined in the force fully, disregarding the restrictions on either side."
He paused again, looking at Kienna.
"Regardless of your choice, I will not force you to make a decision."
He waited for her to reply.

Johanna Ent'el

She didn't speak at first, instead she noted almost every noticeable thing about her captors. They must have been cocky, to stand so near her. When Johanna spoke, her tone was angry. "Remember that my capture was only due to me sacrificing myself. It's only a matter of time before they rescue me." She threatened. It was an empty threat, though. The rebels wouldn't know a thing about her location.

Her eyes wandered to his blaster. Axon could be knocked out, maybe. Or she could wrestle him to the ground and end his life. She returned her gaze to the far side of the room, remaining silent for a few moments. Then, all at once, Johanna launched herself at Axon, aiming to knock the wind out of him.

Kienna scoffed at the master. Was this some kind of joke? She'd made the mistake of becoming attached to someone, and it only ended in their death. She stood up, offended. "I learned my lesson, I won't have another life taken because of me, got it?" Kienna wasn't taking into account the power this jedi had, though. Her late master was probably a knight, one who'd been given that rank briefly before the murder of all the others.

But what this man was suggesting was almost evil to her. There couldn't be any balance between the two, her master had told her that much. The dark side was dangerous. One could easily fall to it. But was she? Kienna didn't think she'd been doing anything wrong. She was doing good in the galaxy. She shook her head, angry again. "Get out." She said, quietly at first. "Get out!" She demanded, pointing to the door as if he didn't know where it was.

Commodore Axon Karr

Axon was surprised that the woman's idealism. One would think that an officer of her rank would have outgrown it. "Now, now, now," he said, in a scathing paternal voice, as if he was scolding a small child. "By the time your Rebel friends are in a position to rescue you, you'll be safely aboard-"

Before Karr could finish, Ent'el had thrown herself at him at blinding speed, sending him sprawling to the floor, breathless. Reaching for his blaster several moments too late, Axon gasped for air and looked up in surprise and anger at the prisoner. His other hand reached up for his comlink, attempting to alert the detention block's guards.

"Stop right there!" Major Deo rasped. He had launched into action and was just now bringing his blaster level with the woman's head. "Make any sudden movements and I'll kill you. Now, step away from the Commodore."

Sanctuary

In perfect unison, three Star Destroyers and a small flotilla of their escorts fell out of lightspeed and into orbit of the planet Sanctuary. Turbolasers primed and ready, they began to blast at any Rebel ship they saw, determined not only to rescue the forces on the ground but also determine the fate of the Despoiler.

They saw right away that the ship hadn't been destroyed, but rather heavily damaged. The Rebels must have either put it totally out of commission or captured it. It remained to be seen if they had attempted to take it for themselves or scuttle it, but the flotilla would soon find out.

Johanna Ent'el

Her attack had given her a sense of satisfaction. That is, until she realized the major had actually managed to point his weapon at her. She kept hers set to stun, not knowing what the older man would do. Seeing the way he held it, he hadn't had any practice in quite some time. Something she could use to her advantage. She looked down at the crumpled form of Axon, her lip curling in disgust. It gave her a thoughtful look, one that could possibly trick the major into thinking she was considering his threat.

With the same speed as before, she dropped down to a knee, aiming the pistol at Deo and firing. The stun shot soared across the room, hopefully hitting his torso, where she'd aimed in general. If her quick calculations were correct, he'd hopefully miss her by a hair before being stunned himself. She'd have to hope that would be enough to startle the commlink out of Axon's hand.

Commodore Axon Karr

The damned Rebel Admiral seemed to have directed most of her attention to Major Deo, which Axon would use to his advantage. He edged the comlink closer to his lips; all it would take was a single word and a squadron of stormtroopers would be in here in seconds. But suddenly Ent'el moved, wrenching Axon's blaster upwards and firing at Deo. The Major fired his own blaster milliseconds too late, his aim veering sideways and only managing to scorch the cot.

The stun bolt caught the ISB officer square in his middle, and, as frail as the old man was, that was all it took. He fell forward on his knees and then crumpled. The Commodore, distraught but not senseless, jerked the comlink to his mouth and was about to start shouting into it when the blast door opened. Ensign Nedix walked in.

"Commodore, Captain Tochi has reported in; the torpedo sphere is ready to fire. Commodor-" He stopped short as the scene before him registered, and suddenly his hand was on his blaster. Wide eyes swinging wildly around, he suddenly dove out of view, hands scrambling up and down the wall. By the sudden, screeching sirens that filled all of their ears moments later, he must have sounded the alarm.
Imperial Security would be on them in moments, unless, perhaps, the blast door could be sealed and its controls disabled.

Axon sneered. "You child," he laughed, "you really thought you could get away with that? I was going to see if you would talk under normal circumstances. Now I'll have them torture you until there's nothing left of you but an empty husk."

Johanna Ent'el

Johanna's attention was turned back to the commodore, but the voice that spoke was neither of their's. She froze up, then turned in the direction of the newcomer, only to see him dive away. "Blast!" She growled in an undertone. This wasn't going as she'd hoped it would. And the commodore's slimy words only added to her anger. She whirled on him, grabbing Axon up by the collar of his uniform.

"Start walking." She hissed, prodding him in the back with the sidearm in the direction of the door. "I'm willing to bet you don't want to die." Johanna said, suddenly calm. She actually seemed to be enjoying this. In reality, this was far from the truth. Johanna was trying to scare him. "I don't have anything to lose, whereas you... well, commodore, you have so much ahead of you. A big promotion, dozens of battles, so much more than me. It'd be a shame if that were ripped from you, wouldn't it? And all it would take is one shot to your back..."

She cackled and gave him a shove, shouting loudly so the ones outside could hear her. "I have Axon. Lay your weapons down, and I won't hurt him." She paused, waiting either for him to add to this, or for the ones outside to acknowledge her. It was a bold move, certainly. But she'd have to rely on her speed and wits to get out of this one alive.

Commodore Axon Karr

Axon's smug look vanished as he was hoisted to his feet and shoved forward, a blaster prodding into his back. The Rebel Admiral's words did nothing to help him.
"I have Axon. Lay your weapons down, and I won't hurt him."

It was time to make a decision; risk his life over this psychotic Rebel, or save himself and risk her escape. "Don't shoot!" Karr finally ordered. The naval troopers, who had been aligned in a semi-circle before the door, their weapons trained on Johanna, slowly began to lower them.

Axon slowly began to step forward and away from the Rebel, his hands raised in a gesture of submission. His eyes met with those of his adjutant, who disappeared into a corridor. The sirens were still blaring, and stormtrooper reinforcements would hopefully arrive within minutes.

Master Jek-El Crois

Aboard the Aurora

Jek-El stood, turning and opening the door, "You have made your choice, but if you ever wish to change your mind do not be afraid to see me."
He exited the room, but paused for a moment, "It is not wrong to become attached to someone."
Before closing the door behind him and making his way to his own bunk. He was calm, knowing with her temperament that it was unlikely she would take him seriously. He also understood why she feared letting somebody close to her, especially after the death of her old Master, who by the sounds of it wasn't ready for a Padawan themselves.
He opened the door to his bunk and sat down on the floor, finding the equilibrium in the force, the point where dark and light met. It wasn't a conflict between the two as some might imagine, more of a flow, where the dark transferred into the light and light into dark. He tapped into the equilibrium, and rode it out into both sides of the force. He felt the temptations of both sides, and their limitations. The dark fueled by sadness and rage, and the light powered by discipline and respect.
He sat and meditated, waiting for the hour to pass until the meeting in the Captain's lounge.

Johanna Ent'el

Seeing the soldiers lower their weapons ever so slightly only added to her concern. Johanna moved forward, noticing she'd lagged behind to take the situation in. She continued to usher Axon along, moving for the corridor closest them. She stared the troopers down, making sure they knew she could do significant damage to the man if they slipped up. "Looks like your dogs know how to listen, Axon... I was expecting them to shoot right through you." She had to speak in a normal tone for this to have the same effect as a whisper, due to the sirens. But she was sure it would have the desired affect.

Once she'd made it past the wall of troopers, backing up while facing them, she forcefully shoved Axon forward into the wall of troopers. Johanna then took off running, searching for an open door. She'd have to hope to find a ventilation shaft to hide in or, better yet, navigate through.

~In Hyperspace~

~On board a lone Imperial shuttle~

Emperor Palpatine is seen sitting down inside his shuttle awaiting to arrived at his destination the Old Sith Lord was thinking about the failures of his apprentice and the late Admirals on the Death Star. He has spent many years to bring order to the Galaxy under Sith control he remembered when he was first born on Naboo he was weak until his Master found him and trained him in the ways of the dark side of the Force thanks to his Master's teachings he was able to destroy the Jedi and have the Chosen One become his apprentice. But after the destruction of the Death Star he has his doubts about Vader handling the Rebels despite his failures Vader got his job done when it needed to be done besides it would be hard to find a Force user that was strong in the Force like Vader is.

"Entering the Naboo System, ETA one minute." The pilot said.

Palpatine smiled at the mention of his home planet it has been years since he last visited the beautiful planet sadly he had to deal with the politics back on Courscant with the Senate now disbanded and the Death Star destroyed many planets have been trying to break away from the Empire. Today he gets a break he will be overseeing the experiments taking place on the planet and make sure they are going well.

~Naboo System~

The Imperial shuttle left hyperspace and went towards the planet above it is a large Imperial fleet of Star Destroyers ever since the destruction of the Death Star he has ordered all Imperial fleets to defend any major Imperial planets from the Rebel Alliance. The pilot told the fleet that the Emperor is visiting allowing the shuttle to touch down on the planet.

~Naboo, Theed Palace ~

The shuttle's ramp extended as two Imperial Guards stepped out and waited for the Emperor to step out once he was out he and his guards began walking towards the Palace and entered it.
NOTE! The Jedi Council does not rule the New Republic they are just Peacekeepers

Commodore Axon Karr

Axon glared back at his captor, eyes incandescent with silent rage. The naval troopers watched them anxiously, blasters ready for any sudden movements on Johanna's part. Finally, when she had moved past the semi-circle of guards, she shoved Karr into them and took off running. The Commodore was caught by one of his soldiers, nearly bowling him over. Jumping back to his feet, Axon snatched a blaster.

"Well? What are you waiting for? After her!" he snarled, trembling with anger as the six troopers began chasing after the Rebel. The group of guards collided with a phalanx of stormtroopers as they rounded a corner, and, like a set of bowling pins, crashed to the floor in all directions. Under other circumstances it might have been mildly amusing.
"You imbeciles!" he yelled, dashing past them as they belatedly helped each other up. "All of you, with me! She can't be allowed to escape!"

With Axon at their lead, the column of troopers sprinted through many corridors, using security feeds to track the escaped Rebel as they went. Allowing himself a moment's breath, the Commodore yelled over the sirens and into his comlink: "Nedix, are you there?"

"Yes, Commodore, I'm on my way to the bridge now."

"Excellent. Lieutenant Commander Sykell is the First Officer, he should be on deck. Order him to lock down all escape pods, activate the stormtrooper garrison, and deploy them so as to defend the hangar bay and escape pods. And, also, begin sealing all blast doors. Understood?"

"Yes, sir!"

Minutes later, blast doors, planted midway through all corridors and impenetrable by all but lightsaber blades or high-caliber explosives, began to close. They would be an impediment to both Ent'el and Karr, as he and his men would now be forced to relay the exact location of each blast door that was in their path to the bridge, so that it could be opened.

Johanna Ent'el

Astounded she'd made it so far without being blasted, Johanna almost didn't notice the door closing on her. She slid under it, looking around madly. The corridor was empty aside from a couple of doors, which she tried without success. It seemed as though she was finally trapped this time. Until she noticed the grate above her, that is. Johanna raised the blaster, leveling it with one of the latches, firing at it. The metal swung down, leaving a square hole in the ceiling.

Johanna prepared herself, lucky to have trained physically prior to this situation, and jumped up. She grabbed onto it with her fingers, almost slipping, then readjusted herself. Johanna clambered in, in such a hurry that she didn't notice the panel she'd left on the floor. Now the troopers would be able to deduce she'd gone into the shafts.

She crawled in the direction she believed the hangar would be in, assuming the schematics she'd studied in the academy were still the same.

Erol Dorn
Naboo, Theed Palace

The Emperor himself had arrived on the planet. In the wake of the events between the space of Yavin IV and the Death Star encouraged the secret project he was working on to get a more direct focus. Officer Dorn went to the entrance and general staging area for when high level imperials arrived on the planet. Today there were more royal guards than usual, likely due to the closeness the Emperor held for Naboo and for his own protection.

Gathering what notes he could, Dorn headed to greet the Emperor as stormtroopers followed behind him. Heading to the palace library that had been changed into a meeting space, Officer Dorn directed his troopers to stand aside as he planned to announce his new project for the emperor himself.

As Dorn waited for him enter, he was anxious. His plans to complete the Emperor's project would e ambitious and might not end as quickly as the Emperor would like unfortunately. With rag tag rebels running about, it would be interesting to see a new direction receive focus by the empire.

Commodore Axon Karr

The fifth or so blast door hissed open, a pair of stormtroopers on Axon's flanks as they all clambered through into the next hallway. It, like all those before it, was unremarkable, and the stormtroopers were already heading for the next door when Karr spotted a peculairity. A metallic grate, scorched by blaster fire. He jerked his head up, a thin smile tracing his lips as he saw what he'd been hoping for.

"She's gone through the ventilation shafts," the Commodore announced. Speaking this time into his comlink he said, "Nedix, unseal all blast doors." Axon next turned to a stormtrooper officer. "Lieutenant, take these troopers towards the hangar bay and await the arrival of our escaped Admiral. Your weapons set to stun, of course. Along the way, stop whenever you encounter one of these grates, and throw a smoke grenade into it. We'll smoke her out."

"Understood, Commodore."

"You'll also be handling this personally, Lieutenant. The Admiral is now in your hands, and if she is allowed to escape, you will be severely punished."

"Understood, Commodore," he said, slightly reluctantly.

"Very good." In this almost casual maneuver Karr had completely shifted the blame for Johanna's potential escape onto this lowly officer, a feat which was considered everyday for most fleet officers. Satisfied, Axon headed back up to the bridge, deciding that the occupation of Mon Cala had been delayed long enough.

Johanna Ent'el

The ventilation shafts were a tight fit, but she managed fine. Johanna came upon the spot she knew as the hangar from her past studies. It was tedious, but necessary to efficiently manage her fleet. A pang of guilt shot through her. She'd failed in her mission to protect the planet. If she'd expected the boarding parties, she could have repelled them and managed to turn the battle around. These thoughts were short, but gave her a reassurance that getting captured again would only result in severe consequences.

Johanna kicked the square panel that allowed some light into the otherwise dim shaft. It fell after the second blow, clanging to the ground. She followed it, landing neatly to the ground with her stolen blaster at the ready.

Aboard the Typhon

About twenty or so tense stormtroopers were scattered around the hangar bay, very much on edge; their careers, and potentially their lives, were on the line. They all stiffened and whirled around when they heard a distant clang, but, seeing nothing, slowly returned to their lookouts, not noticing a small form as it slipped down from the ventilation shafts and into the hangar.
They did, however, see the tendril of white smoke creeping out from behind her.

Jumping in alarm, several troopers sent wild shots arching towards the smoke, whilst the vast majority headed toward it, blasters raised. If Johann could get away fast enough, the smoke just might buy her enough time...

Commodore Axon Karr

The Commodore sighed deeply along with the turbolift's doors as they slid open, allowing him access to the bridge. The First Officer, Lieutenant Commander Sykell, saluted stiffly before speaking.
"Commodore, the torpedo sphere is ready to fire on your command," the tall officer reported.

"Very good," Axon said, uncharacteristically tired. "Captain Tochi? Can you hear me?"

"Yes, Commodore," the female voice answered him.

"Very well. Fire on my mark. Three..." Karr raised his grey eyes to stare out of the Star Destroyer's glistening viewports. "Two..." Floating before him was the world of Dac, a safe haven for the Rebellion for so many years. "One..." About to be ravaged. "Fire!"

The torpedo sphere had been floating in orbit of Dac, eerily resembling the Death Star, a thought Axon did not entertain for long. The memory caused him physical pain.
Its deadly firing array launched hundreds of proton torpedos, which sped forward blindingly, streaking towards the planetary shield. The torpedos smashed against the shield one after the other, punching a minuscule hole in it. And, not a millisecond late, the battlestation's turbolasers sent blistering green fire through the temporary gap, which lanced down towards the planet and, judging by the shimmer of resulting explosions, destroyed Dac's shield generator.

Axon was proved right moments later when the glimmering protective field around the oceanic planet dissipated, leaving it completely exposed. Axon was momentarily tempted to order his fleet to begin firing down at the insolent Mon Calamarians; but no, the Emperor had special plans for them. Their time would come.
"Order General Garr to launch his invasion," the Commodore called, eyes still fixated on the world before him. Moments later a swarm of shuttles and massive transports, accompanied by thick clouds of TIE fighters, flooded out from the Typhon's hangar bay, rapidly descending towards the valuable world.

Dac would fall within the week; resistance was futile.
