Atomic Rainbooms just got the smacking of a lifetime.

A place for governments-in-exile, plucky survivors, unlucky survivors, the horrifically mutated, and other assorted characters to ride out the nuclear hellstorm until it's safe to go outside again.

And Atomic Rainbooms also has the dubious distinction of receiving the last nuke to land in the war. You really kept going.

Despite that, you still didn't kill all of us! Nine of us survived with some quantity of non-irradiated land, one even being as little as 2% irradiated. So, congratulations. The combined forces of the several greatest armies in the world could not crush the spirit of us ponies.

We have survived.

We will rebuild.

We will return, better than ever, and there is nothing you can do about it.

Look upon the devastation you have wrought, and realize the futility of war. You cannot defeat us.

I think you guys did pretty good up until that massive attack
You were definitely giving us over in Forest a run for our money to claim highest-ranked non-irradiated

Friendship and Explosions also survived, so only one of the pone factions fell and wasn't entirely destroyed.

There is an out of control trolley speeding towards Jeremy Bentham, who is tied to the track. You can pull the lever to cause the trolley to switch tracks, but on the other track is Immanuel Kant. Bentham is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Critique of Pure Reason. Kant is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Principles of Moral Legislation. Both men are shouting at you that they have recently started to reconsider their ethical stances.

For the record, if the BBC drama Threads is to be believed, I think rebuilding from a nuclear war is going to be nearly impossible. But then again this is NationStates.

Seeing the Rainbooms get smacked was sad to see, to be honest. They were the dark horse in the top 10, no pun intended, and seeing three of the most well-established factions toss them around was kinda lame. But c'est la vie, I guess? Best of luck next time 'round!

This happens when a #5 ranked faction messes with a #1 faction. This also happened to Osiris 12 hours before Atomic Rainbooms got their smacking. Similar thing happened to Jak. Similar thing also *kinda* happened to TWP last time.

I protested against the Rainbooms getting nuked.

But in the end I followed orders.

The Atomic Rainbooms' main puppet-master here.

Oof, that was rough. I was hoping we might sneak through to finish somewhere in the top 10, but that hope pretty much died with the first AA attack. Ah well, we did survive two major coordinated attacks though without suffering any damage, which I'm pretty proud of. All in all, not a bad job considering that it took the combined efforts of three factions with far superior numbers to us to even get one strike in. No idea how many of those nukes my puppets actually managed to block since I was flying through them, but I'd guess at least a few thousand.

Overall, I had fun outside of getting totally obliterated at the end, so not a total waste of time on my part. Maybe we'll get that top 10 finish next time.

You realize I was one of the people that finished you off?

Anyway, our region, the United Nations of Earthlings, had a Defense Force that was kinda helping finish off the Atomic Rainbooms.

It was all in good fun, happy to hear people had a good time.

EDIT: After checking, i realized i launched the finishing shot.
