N-Day 2 Reflection Thread

Here's my reflection:
I personally really liked it. I joined Army of Freedom, and my other main nation and all puppets joined my region's faction(European Defense Forces). I have 2 Communist puppets, which I used to infiltrate Communist factions. I was producing shields, and using them to defend my factions. Only one nuke was aimed at me, which was shot down. I survived the night(surprisingly), but both my Communist puppets didn't. My only nuke expert nation was mostly obliterated. I spent all day making shields and defending the factions I'm in. At the end, there was a surge of nukes that headed for AOF. I shot down a lot, and miraculously none were aimed at me. For all future players, I recommend that you have a lot of puppets ready, and have most of them make shields, and also make a lot of nukes.

How did you do compared to last time? Wasn't in the last war.
How did your faction do? Amazing.
When and how were you destroyed(if at all)? Not even scratched.
Did you like or dislike it, and why? I loved it. I got to toast tons of nations and our banquet halls are now filled with the bodies of their fallen. The dragons will eat well this year.
How do you think you can improve next time? Bring in more zombie clones? I mean seriously.. one guy, 72 provinces.. a tad towards the absurd.
Do you have any advice for new nations next time? Clone yourselves for the next battle?

Did a hell of a lot better than last time. Our faction, the United Free Alliance came eighth, and although I lost a puppet I continued on with three more to hit enemies with 400 more nukes before the event ended

How did you do?
I came 10th. Not a headline grabbing performance, but I'm happy to have escaped without any radiation.

How did you do compared to last time?
Much better... so much better. Last time I put no thought into who I attacked and ended up making my faction lots of enemies...

How did your faction do?
My faction was just me this time. I played with my puppets like the loner I am

When and how were you destroyed(if at all)?
Surviving with no radiation and 3900+ shields to spare, I was never in any real danger

Did you like or dislike it, and why?
It was great, but I'm not sure if I'd be saying the same if I'd been destroyed...

How do you think you can improve next time?
Force everyone to play solo with only their puppets

Do you have any advice for new nations next time?
Don't attack the big scary factions. if you try to avoid them, they might not see you. (worked for me this time)

It was great, but I'm not sure if I'd be saying the same if I'd been destroyed...

I really liked the first one, even though I got destroyed pretty quickly. Although the main reason why I wanted a second N-Day was because I wanted to see how to improve.

Last time I was obliterated. This time I remained at 0% radiation and single-handily destroyed 3 and a quarter nations. Rusozak can into nuclear age.

• How did you do compared to last time? Worse on the radiation front, but better in terms of strikes.
• How did your faction do? Let's just say... I am the Senate.
• When and how were you destroyed(if at all)? Between two and half past four this afternoon, felled by some Nuclear Jacuzzis (the 2nd United Jacuzzi Front).
• Did you like or dislike it, and why? Rather good, to be honest. Why wouldn't you want to chuck n00ks at other people?
• How do you think you can improve next time? Name my faction something that everybody will agree with and nobody will dare n00k, like Sachin Tendulkar Is The God of Cricket!. It appears that Mike Atherton is too divisive a cricketer to have a faction namechecking him become untouched by a bunch of Nuclear Jacuzzis, let alone plain old vanilla-flavour nuclear missiles.
• Do you have any advice for new nations next time? Yes. Foremost among them, remove your puppets from your faction before you go to sleep and re-instate them when you wake up just like I did, so that nobody can even touch your puppets and their precious radiation-free status!

I (your superior, and commanding officer of the regional defense forces, who came in 17th proudly), was not acting like what you described, you tried to "relieve me of my duties", and boss around other people, and you thought you could disobey orders. We tolerated it until what, the 8th time, then we demoted you (boy, I wish there was a kick and ban button).

You then came back and claimed I and others were committing treason, when we were loyally fighting for the Defense of the region.

You then got your argument nullified, and claimed everything you did was legal.

That is why we need a Factional eject button, and why you are wrong.

• When and how were you destroyed(if at all)? Not destroyed at all.
• Did you like or dislike it, and why? Loved it, the end was super tense.
• How do you think you can improve next time? Use puppets earlier
• Do you have any advice for new nations next time? Wait around for nukes to build. and listen to your orders.

How did you do? I'd say I did good. I stocked to my special except for once. I helped people not go extinct.
How did you do compared to last time? Well I didn't go power crazy so I'd say very better. I had 0% radtion unalike last times 2%
How did your faction do? We got second so I'd say great.
When and how were you destroyed(if at all)? I wasn't!
Did you like or dislike it, and why? I disliked it some becuse it happend mainly at night for me but I liked it becuse you didn't have to be in the region that made the faction.
How do you think you can improve next time? I'd like it if prodtion came faster then one each minute.
Do you have any advice for new nations next time? Don't go power crazy and listen to those in charge.

- How did you do?
Like the first N-Day, defeated with 100% radiation. This time, I created a faction of my own, with two other members.
- How did you do compared to last time?
Worse than before. I got killed more quickly, and I achieve that with even less provocation of stronger nations. I was just targeted for my goals
- How did your faction do?
All three members of my faction, Arrows of Freedom, were defeated, including me. And the destruction was very quick, that it only last in some minutes or an hour to destroy all three.
- When and how were you destroyed(if at all)?
At more than 6 AM of my local time. I was destroyed with first, 48 nukes hitting me from a miscommunication by a faction offering a ceasefire, to being destroyed by my enemies. My two others suffered the same fate.
- Did you like or dislike it, and why?
Kinda like it. To be honest, after Kendor was destroyed, I play again with three puppets in the No. 1 faction, Totally not the AA.
- How do you think you can improve next time?
Quicker production, as well as the panel showing things like production, targets, etc showing players worldwide, so that a member of other faction can find and shield that player. Also, the option to create radiation cleaning equipments, which will cost large productions for one
- Do you have any advice for new nations next time?
Don't try to make your own faction if you have only one or few members, or of your own region don't have much players. Also, sought out many allies and don't try to provoke stronger nations

Europe had a bit of a rocky start, joining the party a few hours late. However, our discord members seem to have enjoyed themselves and are happy with the overall result of 9th place.

Personally, there were a few close calls - especially with our A.R.M.E.D & Totally Not the AA rivalry where I found myself with 290 targets which all were shot down due to good planning and organisation, therefore the all of us came out of ND2 relatively radiation free.

If anybody from the European Defence Force sees this, congratulations guys.

How did you do compared to last time? The first time I got destroyed in 8 hours, this time I lasted through the entire time.

Did you like or dislike it, and why? I liked this new's N-Day since people were more prepared.
How do you think you can improve next time? Honestly, I was pretty alright.
Do you have any advice for new nations next time? Leave a faction at night! You have no clue what happens when you sleep. And build a closely even number of shields and nukes.

This is my first time.

At the first hours of N-Day, we're at
5th but ended up at 11th.

Not destroyed. Only 6% radiation

Yes. I love it. But I was a little bit raged when UPPERCUT and We're not the AA are after me

I should found more puppets and use them to shield my main nation. I have only one puppet. [nation=The New Nationalist China] which destroyed 2 nations with more than 60 strikes.

I don't have any advices.
