In my next couple of posts will be the Warlord with his host setting for Greenland and Iceland. So no sleep till Scotland. There will be other ships that will do official colonization of the two places but the main fleet is going towards Scotland with some casualties.

Hey, we need to discuss the history between Holy Scythia and Ego Helios.

So, around the time you integrated the Bhumidol I integrated Kutaizsur, who would have been neighbours and traders through the narrow mountain passes of the Caucasus. Its unlikely that the League would have sent diplomatic envoys to Scyth and even more unlikely that Scythian explorers/traders and the like would be given access to League territory, and any trade (official or otherwise) would probably happen in small Caravanserai situated in no-mans land on the border.

If you want there to have been sustained diplomatic contact I'm okay with that, but I'm not sure what you're expecting to have happened over that time period.

I would like that we have made only fleeting contact thus far, so that more official contact might be made in IC

How did you get from Wisconsin to Scotland? I really doubt you that you would have that kind of technological capacity or logistical capacity. It would seem like the trip would cost faaaar more than what it was worth. Also, the Scottish coast is mostly rocky....

Resources mostly, I was going to originally go down and conquer Wisconsin to form a Mississippi Silk Road then I let my ambitions and the thought of a Sunset Invasion run ahead of me so I stuck with it.

Oh, Cristo? Just saw your post in Scythe. For what it is worth, an actual siege-crossbow can actually outrange even a longbow. I imagine your spies wouldn't have had access to more than hunting crossbow designs, to be fair, which are simpler affairs than the windlasses and repeaters the Imperial Army actually uses.
