Ulysses, C.D., United States - President Oliver Kenway has authorized the institution of a military no-fly-zone over the West Caprican Sea via executive order today.

President Kenway has said Wednesday that he has approved the implementation of a military no-fly-zone over the West Caprican Sea extending from the end of the international recognized maritime borders of Mesoland, Aswick, Nova Deseret and the San Joaquin Valley, the zone prohibits all military air traffic over the zone under threat of being shot down by US Naval assets.

In addition the United States has instituted maritime restrictions in the West Caprican Sea ahead of the official start of the military no-fly-zone. All nonessential civilian transport ships will be turned away from the West Caprican Sea until further notice.

The zone which is set to go into effect Friday at 1800 hours and to remain in effect for the next thirty days is the latest action in a series of what appears to be tit for tat maneuvers in the region sparked by the apprehension of a Meso civilian ship by Nova Deseret authorities earlier this year.

Nova Deseret, which claims that the ship was operating illegally, has yet to release the twenty one man crew despite intense international pressure. The country has instead responded by conducting provocative live fire naval drills in the West Caprican Sea, firing a number of missile barrages towards Mesoland earlier this month.

The United States' no-fly-zone is a direct reaction to both the drills and Nova Deseret's shooting down of what Bright Hill has described as an experimental weather drone that was operating over international waters before brought down by Nova Deseret's Air Force last week.

High ranking officials in the Nova Deseret government have shot back alleging that the drone had in fact violated their airspace and was brought down only after repeated attempts to communicate with the unmanned aerial vehicle. Nova Deseret has yet to return the wreckage of the UAV to the United States despite repeated calls.

Dozens feared dead in shooting in Oldtown
Terrorists open fire in crowded Oldtown Mall killing dozens

Ulysses, C.D., United States -
A group of individuals who police say proclaimed loyalty to the pro-Nova Deseret Native Son's Militia(NSM) stormed the Oldtown Shopping Center in downtown Oldtown, Acadia this Friday morning, wielding high powered assault rifles and improvised explosives devices and carried out the worst mass shooting in the history of the United States of Caprica, leaving an estimated sixty people dead and more than a hundred wounded, at least two dozen critically so.

The attackers who died at the scene have been identified by law enforcement officials as Neil Kaeo and Edward Kauki. Both assailants are recent immigrants from Nauvoo City, Nova Deseret having been identified by their passports which were found at the scene of the massacre.

Law enforcement officials estimate more than 1,000 rounds were fired during the attack with a number of improvised explosive and incendiary devices being detonated as civilians attempting to flee the mayhem inside.

John Smith, a 21-year old who was born in Liberty City, Acadia was only at the mall in order to pick up an anniversary gift for his girlfriend and nearly lost his life in the attempt.

He described the scene as ''complete and total chaos. People were stepping over bodies and slipping on pools of blood trying to reach the exits. Everyone was screaming and running for their lives''

The Oldtown Shopping Center which is one of the largest shopping malls in the United States was holding it's annual July 1st Patriot sale before federal holiday festivities began before the shootings began roughly around noon today.

Conflicting reports are still coming in but officials currently on the scene have confirmed that there are at least more than three dozen dead and at least a hundred wounded in what people are calling the deadliest mass shooting in United States history.

The shooters whose identities were confirmed by law enforcement officers are citizens of the Republic of Nova Deseret and a raid of their hotel lodgings have reportedly uncovered several illegal assault rifles, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and ''several improvised explosive devices'' with which the attackers could have inflicted much more damage. In addition to the arsenal of weapons and explosive materials found in the attackers hotel room, there were also ''significant'' amounts of pro-Nova Deseret and Nauvoo Legion paraphernalia scattered about the room and a ''manifesto'' detailing the shooters motives.

There are also unsubstantiated claims of there being more than the two gunmen that were killed at the scene and as many as five terrorists, including a unknown getaway driver. Police tactical teams are working to substantiate or discredit these rumors.

The shooters reported made a call to emergency services immediately before the shooting warning emergency personnel that there would be ''no mercy or quarter'' and that the attacks were a direct response to President Kenway's institution of a military No-Fly-Zone over the West Caprican Sea in response to Nova Deseret's provocations.

Bright Hill could not be reached for comment regarding the shooters suspected motivations.

Already the Prosperity Party has released a statement on their online webpage denouncing the attacks as '''cowardly and appalling'' and calling on all Capricans to stand in ''solidarity and brotherhood'' with the victims of the attack.

The Liberal and Labor Parties released joint statements expressing their grief and shock over the attacks and urged everyone to remain calm and wait for the official results of the investigation.

Members of the Conservative congressional caucus have already begun calling for a formal declaration of war on Nova Deseret for the attack and will reportedly be ready to submit a working declaration to Congress by the ''middle of next week.''

First Week at the Princetown Yacht Show

Image

14:30 PRINCETOWN | Last week we talked with the president of the Yacht Club of Princetown about the start of the Princetown Yacht Show and the security protocols that this was going to be doing with the Polcie Department of Hifax and apparently everything is working perfectly, since we talked with him the Police Department and the Coast Guard of Princetown displayed their new equipment in the bay of Princetown three times, we also saw some helicopters in the sky of Princetown as part of the security protocols for the 17' Yacht Show.

This morning we talked with the Prince Ismael I in the Bulgari stand in the Port of Princetown about the city's security this week, he said that every corner of the city is controlled and the Order of Montesa is also contributing for the peace in the city, he also told to the Princetown Reporter reporter that the security in the Akoya Airport is also very controlled, sepcially in the Customs Zone where last month three persons with false passports tried to enter to the city.

We think that the event will finish in perfect conditions as always, meanwhile we should be enjoying the incredible summer that awaits us.

Rihasanai convicted for hate speech
» Presidential candidate's "incendiary" remarks inflamed Kylarnatian community
By Temalha Petlaxli, 30/06/'17

Maliyaia Rihasanai, one-time presidential hopeful and founder of Andamonia's for a Traditional Tomorrow, was today sentenced to three years in prison and two years of community service for hate speech and inciting violence against Andamonian citizens. The decision, the first such judgement by the Supreme Court, has been lauded by minority groups who say that it is an important step forward towards religious equality under the republic.

Most will remember how Rihanasai's popularity climbed to 10% of the vote, striking chords with disenfranchised rural voters and those who felt the imperial government had turned its back on them when it turned to Trellin, Dungeyland and further abroad for help. Her campaign, which began by promoting domestic industries among women, became charged with anti-immigrant rhetoric as her media presence grew. After several televised interviews wherein she attacked 'Andamonianised' groups such as Heidish Christians, her popularity began to collapse, with many defending such groups as an important part of a more inclusive Andamonian identity.

The Rihasanai campaign reached its nadir on 18 December, when she attacked the Silvier Sacerdotium, the Kylarnatian religion, during a speech to the National Committee on Toleration and Equality. The speech destroyed her ratings, and her share of polls fell from 9% to 4% almost overnight. Although there are only an estimated six hundred or so adherents in Andamonia, the Kylarnatian territory of Sycoon is traditionally friendly towards Andamonia, and the community here is generally well-liked.

For President Timaloc, who celebrated his sixty-ninth birthday just last week, the judgement is a welcome one. He was quick to criticise Rihasanai's remarks, but many found him conspicuously silent on the matter once elected. His campaign had focussed on a message of tolerance and progress in the wake of, according to detractors, "a war he helped lose." The Kylarnatian embassy was naturally distressed by Rihasanai's attacks and sought an apology that was not forthcoming. People close to the president were profuse in conveying that he sympathised with their plight and would not condone their actions, but the presidential office itself was silent on the matter, unwilling to take responsibility for a candidate's remarks.

Why was Timaloc so shy on the matter? Perhaps it is his equally zealous devotion to freedom of speech that stood in the way of properly mollifying a concerned church and community. Yet he was equally reticent in the wake of the 9 January attacks on a Kylarnatian temple which resulted in a nationwide manhunt (article » Three tried in connection with temple attack). For a president who set out to cultivate a harmonious society, Timaloc was surprisingly reluctant to condemn the sewing of chaos in his new republic. Many have remarked that he seems to be waiting for others to uproot the weeds in his garden before he ventures out himself.

Case in point: it took until Rihasanai's conviction for him to issue a formal, governmental apology for her remarks from months ago. It sounded heartfelt, but no one can pretend it's timely. Timaloc must learn to lead in the moment if his presidency is to set the example Andamonia needs. So far, what he has preached is hardly enough to practise, and Andamonia's minorities will be looking for firmer reassurance of their safety.

Government debates increase in restrictions on tobacco

By ALEKSANDER VEEK (@Aleks_Veek)
Thursday, July 13, 2017

RAEDBURG, ZITRU — The National Congress has recently debated increasing the restrictions currently in place on tobacco products. With the current act in place adults over the age of 18 can legally purchase and consume tobacco, but a ban on smoking in public places is enforced and has been since 1997. The ban saw a huge decrease in the number of public smoking areas as states looked to aid the government.

This decision has come following public outcry regarding the apparent lack of effects the twenty-year-long ban has had on the smoking population. Many citizens argue that while everyone is aware of the ban and outdoor areas for smoking are all but non-existent in the country, little is done by local police to enforce the law and a high number of smokers continue to engage in the act on our streets, in our parks and at our beaches.

In an argument that was met with much praise from the non-smoking population of Zitru, Republican politician Thomas Viktersen has called for the current government to raise the legal age of use and purchase of tobacco products to 21, significantly increase the prices of them, and raise the fine for public smoking as well as ensure that law enforcement readily enforce the ban. His words during the debate have earned him widespread commendation and support from Zitrans.

While she agrees with and actively supports Viktersen’s argument, 42-year-old Anna Jansen believes more needs to be done. The mother of three argues: “The majority of Zitrans don’t smoke because it is a horrible habit which affects not only the smoker, but those around them. I strongly support Thomas Viktersen and hope that the government go ahead with further amendments to the current smoking ban, but I feel that much more still has to be done to completely accommodate the non-smoking community, which is the majority of the country.”

Strongly anti-smoking, Anna also hopes for an end to the government’s apparent “encouragement” to smokers that they smoke in their homes instead of in public. “While it’s definitely better than everyone smoking out in the streets, it’s not fair to those in their household that don’t smoke,” she continued. Another part of the ban states that while smokers are permitted to smoke in their homes, cars and outside but within their own property, it is illegal to do so if anyone under the age of 18 also lives in the house. Anna argues that while this prevents the dangers of second-hand smoking affecting children, it doesn’t in any way protect adults who choose not to smoke.

It is yet to be seen whether Congress will make any further changes to the law, although it is clear that the majority of the population is in favor of increased restrictions and stronger enforcement of the ban on public smoking.

BLUEBIRDS SOAR AT CUP OF HARMONY, TOP 'GROUP E' UNDEFEATED
Image
The goalscorer vs Savojarna, Allistar Peterson, leads the squad on a victory lap after securing the top spot in the Group Stages, a first ever for any Scottopian Team competing outside of Astyria

"Take a good look at the lads playing here in this Cup of Harmony campaign, no matter their future results, they'll be returning from Drawkland as footballing legends"... the exact words of manager Douglas McCann after the Scottopian Isles took 1st place in their group, a feat never accomplished by any Scottopian team with exception to domestic events such as the AstyCup or Terra Indicium. The opposition, Savojarna, gave the Bluebirds a good fight for their position, coming close themselves on too many occasions to leave any Tartan Army fan comfortable. Fighting until the final whistle, they themselves were too in place to take the prime position going into the knock out stages. Although the battle on the pitch was won by the Scottopian Isles, a tie-game between Brigantii & the Free Republics also paved a path for Savojarna to enter the Round of 16 facing Abanhfleft while our national team will take on Yesopalitha, but it was almost the opposite.

Coming off hot after their 6-4 win against the Free Republics, the Scottopians had the confidence to enter the game with the thought of coming away with all 3 points against their opponents. Tactically thinking, Savojarna had only managed 1-a-piece against the Free Republics while the Bluebirds gave one of their finest performances in recent memory. Although allowing 4 goals to be scored on themselves, somewhat expected with a rookie goalkeeper playing his first international match, the offense did a phenomenal job which prompted the manager not to change formation or strategy going into the last game of the entry stages. A couple of dry chances in the opening quarter of an hour kept the fans occupied but did not worry the Savojarnian defense in the slightest. They had done their homework and studied Baxters great scoring run in the 2017 AstyCup last month & his talents scoring 3 goals in 2 matches in the Cup of Harmony, sending an extra defender to shadow the striker everywhere he stepped foot on the pitch.

Image
Goulding clears an attempt at goal away from the Scottopian net with his head after a goalkeeping blunder

Such frustration at the defensive effort got the Scottopians into a couple of heart shocking moments as they pushed too far up attempting to find a goal that a Savojarnian counter attack a few minutes from the half time whistle almost proved fruitful had it not been for the acrobatics of Cudiad de Fresno defender Richard Goulding. After novice goalkeeper Andy Castle prematurely challenged an attack for the ball, Freya Sigurdsdottir managed a cheeky chip shot from 15 yards out which dropped perfectly beyond the keepers reach, but the experience Goulding has acquired across his 9 season career is the reason he is still part of the squad. His ability to read the game, ball & players on both teams led him to be one of the few players to hang back defensively, and the away support was thankful that he did otherwise the teams would not have entered the dressing rooms at half time all square at 0-0

Of coarse, we all know that Scottopian manager Douglas McCann is not afraid to talk to his players while on the field, so one can only imagine the talks he gave to the squad to push them on in the last 45 minutes. Without knowing yet the result of the other game in Group E, the manager surely made his money in the locker room as the Scottopians came out more organised and determined to win than in the 1st. Multiple attacks followed by quick passing pressured the competition who were expecting more of the same from the first half. This pressure led to errors from the Savojarnia squad, where a poorly timed tackle by centerback Petra Ernberg earned not just a yellow card, but the devastating free kick accuracy of Peterson from within range. While other players quarreled in the box anticipating the cross from 26 yards out, the Scottopia City forward had other plans and nestled the shot in the top corner of the elusive goal to which a frenzy of cheers erupted from the 35-40,000 Tartan Army fans within the 150,000 seater stadium in Metropolon

Image
Those of the Tartan Army that made the distant journey to Drawkland were treated to a once in a lifetime event upon the final whistle

A 1-0 lead with a little over 20 minutes to go placed the squad with a situation to contend with... Go for glory with a possible second goal or to take the safe road and play out the remainder of the game? We are all happy to say that our trust in our Manager payed off as a series of defensive & midfield substitutions ensured a Scottopian victory on the night. You would have thought a second goal was scored however at the news of the 1-1 draw at the Metro Arena across town between the other Group E rivals. That result would push the Scottopians through despite a draw or loss against the Savojarnian side, but the win was all the sweeter as again, the Scottopian Isles national team advanced to the an international tournament's knockout stages for the first time in their history!

The Bluebirds next match up in the 70th edition of the Cup of Harmony is against the runners-up from Group F, Yesopalitha, who finished the group stages with 1 Win, Loss & Tie each. Surely the fact they were dethroned from 1st place after coming off a 7-2 loss to Abanhfleft could play an advantage to the Scottopians momentum in the Round of 16. But one must remember that the Yesopalithaian team finished World Cup qualifying with 30 goals in 6 Wins, 2 Draw & 8 Losses taking 6th place in their group, a fact surely not overlooked by Douglas McCann & the rest of the Scottopian management team. However, teams do not advanced based on their previous endevours but on how they perform on those exact 90 minutes on the pitch.

United States No-Fly-Zone going strong
Kenway's No-Fly-Zone strengthened by EATO allies

Ulysses, C.D., United States - The U.S imposed No-Fly-Zone and Maritime Restriction Zone authorized by U.S President Oliver Kenway on the 30th of July is still going strong and showing no signs of being lifted anytime soon with the addition of the Royal Scottopian Navy's Second Fleet to the picket line.

President Kenway instituted the No-Fly-Zone in response to Nova Deseret's ''aggressive'' posturing which had become increasingly prominent during the early weeks of June of this year. The President called the No-Fly-Zone a ''necessary and proper'' response to the current situation. He has vowed that the United States will maintain the No-Fly-Zone and Maritime Restriction Zone until authorities from Mesoland and Nova Deseret meet at the negotiating table.

Support for the NFZ has been mixed internationally; with the nation's EATO being mostly positive while the Kingdom of Aswick has publicly refuted the zone in a official statement released on the 29th, a day before the No-Fly-Zone was implemented. The Kenway administration has yet to respond to the Aswick's comments.

In addition, the Prime Minister of Nynorsk Ostlijord, Sven Erikson, has ordered his representatives to lodge a formal complaint against the United States in the Astyrian International Court. The United States has requested a stay on the trial until it's security situation can be stabilized in the aftermath of the Oldtown terrorist shootings.

Domestically, the NFZ has received a positive response with President Kenway polling positively since it's announcement.

Regardless, with the addition of Royal Scottopian Naval forces, it appears the NFZ is here to stay until the invested parties can be brought to the table.

Marcus Redwell advice to the hifaxian government about possibles terrorists attacks in Princetown

Image
Police in Princetown | Photo: AFP

19:47 PRINCETOWN | After the terrorist attack in Oldtown, Ord Caprica and the increase of tension in the region, Marcus Redwell, in charge of the EATA Security adviced to the hifaxian government about possibles terrorists attacks in the capital. Marcus emphasized in the high level of the princetonian security but in case of a possible attack the city-state should be ready: 'The government should start an education program for kids about how to do in those situations, I know that Hifax was one of the first countries in start a group inside the Police specialized in terrorists, also the HHS is doing a great work but as we saw in Ord Caprica, an attack can happen everytime and as one of the biggest organizations of the region we must work together and be prepared for everything'. Last week the Police Department of Princetown arrested two brothers that were planning a terrorist attack in the Princess Juliana Pedestrian Street with a Porsche Cayenne. The director of the Police Department told in a press conference that the police is doing it's greatests efforts in cooperation with the HSS (Hifax Secret Service) to have a list of possibles suspects and arrive in time before a tragedy happens.

How works the new
CCTV System of Princetown?
We find out

According to the official website of the Ministry of Interior there are 506 CCTV Cameras active in Princetown and others
50 planned to be in operation before December.

We talked with the Minister of Interior, Martin Leich who told us about the efficiency of those cameras: 'According to official data, thanks to the cameras, 5 thefts were avoided in 2017, a very low rate but it's thanks to our team in charge of surveillance of the cameras that the rate is low.' We also asked him about the advices of Marcus Redwell, the Minister answered: 'We already know that the region is in a complicated situation and an attack could happen anytime but while I'm standed in this place I won't leave them to enter to Hifax, the security of our people and tourists is our job and I'm sure we are doing it great.' In relation with the arrest of the brothers he said: 'We still working on that with the HSS but as what we know they were going to do an attack in the Princess Juliana Street with a Porsche Cayenne, probabbly they were going to operate in the same way than in Ulysses or runing over the people, thanks to God we arrived before it happens, but I repeat, we still working on that,
our only aim now is to find if they had others contacts in Princetown.

Violence erupts in Nizhny
Protesters seize government buildings in Eastern Arstotska

Ulysses, C.D., United States - Late last night pro-Belkan protesters gathered outside the Nizhny City Hall and held a rally of up to five thousand against the Arstotska government and demanded concessions from central government including Belkan language recognition and greater autonomy for local Belkan-majority territories located along the demilitarized zone between Belka and Arstoska currently administered by an international peacekeeping force led by forced from the Blackhelm Confederacy.

The protests started around seventeen hundred local time when dozens of unemployed began to congregate outside the city hall building and began calls for greater autonomy of the Belkan minority in the second largest city in the fledgling republic. By dusk, the crowd had swelled into the thousands and had grown increasingly hostile as responding law enforcement attempted to move the protest further away from the government quarter.

Shortly after midnight, protesters claiming to be members of the Nizhny Volunteer Force, a paramilitary group Arstotska claims to be a front for Belkan security forces operating in the country began hurling rocks, bottles and other light debris at law enforcement personnel and inciting the crowd to greater acts of violence.

The appearance of counter protesters in support of the central government only served to aggravate the situation and by 1AM, the relatively peaceful protests erupted in an all out brawl as pro-Belkan demonstrators battled it out with pro-Arstotska forces and security units in front of the city hall building and throughout the government quarter for the better part of two hours before finally storming city hall itself and occupying it briefly before being routed by regrouped police forces with the support of armed pro-Arstotska militia forces who had arrived throughout the night.

Demonstrators were forcibly removed from the government quarter and a curfew of imposed by the Mayor of the Nizhny Vladimir Chernenko which went largely unenforced inside majority Belkan neighborhoods throughout the night.

Arstotska has been since it's creation in the aftermath of the Belkan defeat during the Great Astyrian War been a point of contention in Belka and Central Astyria and is viewed by many on both sides to be an artificial creation of the international community having been carved for the most part out of territorial concessions made by the Belkan Socialist Republic. This feeling is held perhaps most strongly in the majority Belkan communities in Eastern Arstotska who despite almost a century of independence from the Belkan state as remaining citizens of Belka as opposed to Arstotskans.

In the West, where the capital of Orenburg is located, most of the population view themselves as distinctly Arstotskans and are fiercely protective of their independence from a historically revanchist and militant Belka which has twice attempted to reincorporate the country into the Belkan state once in the late 1980s and once again in the mid 2000s during the deadly two year conflict of the Belkan War.

The Belkan War fought by Belka against a large international coalition consisting primarily of Nikolian, Confederate and Ecossian troops saw Belkan troops make incredible territorial gains in Arstotska and Platteisen Adler during the early days of the conflict only to see them lost after months of grueling attrition warfare before the conflict was put on ice with the Olenburg Armistice in February 2009.

For many in the West, the war should have put to bed any hopes of a resurgent Belka attempting to regain it's lost territory by force and brought about lasting peace in the region, an assumption that is now being put to the test.

The protests in Nizhny aren't unique in their scale nor violence as the country has seen periodic flare ups of pro-Belkan dissent throughout it's history namely, the riots of 1989, 2001, and 2010, each period usually instigated by the Belkan state to some degree and normally after more overt measures have failed.

Belka has long stoked the hopes of it's eastern Arstotska supporters that they will eventually be reunited with the mother country either by force or some diplomatic miracle and it as served to keep the Arstotskan people in a perpetual state of fear of another conflict, one where they would be at the mercy of the Belkan military and without the support of the international community.

For it's part Arstotska has never adopted a reconciliation tone with it's eastern neighbor and has been accused of multiple times throughout it's history of inciting and encouraging violence against it's citizens with pro-Belkan leanings with it's state security agency the KBD, taking the lead in what has varied from borderline war crimes to extremely draconian policing measures to prevent the lost of it's most populous provinces or Oblasts, the Uralsky Oblast, the Nizhny Oblast and the Lesnoy Oblast which contain almost sixty percent of the country's industrial capacity and make up more than a third of the country's population and almost forty percent of the country's population.

With pro-Belkan forces vowing to return to city hall again today and a promising a repeat of this mornings violence, one truly has to wonder if the world has forgotten about the smoldering conflict in central Astyria and will they turn a blind eye as it seems likely to reignite in the near future.

Police massacre dozens in Arstotska

Author: Alina Petrova
Published: 2017-09-19

Arkangelsk,Belka-During the course of a peaceful protest against what many have called unfair treatment at the hands of both the central and local governments in Arstotska, police units reportedly fired into a crowd of unarmed civilians inflicting massive casualties.

Amateur videos which are currently making the rounds across social media seemingly show policemen armed in riot gear and carrying weapons, open fire into crowds of peaceful protesters, almost indiscriminately gunning down dozens of young men and women even as they tried to flee away from the carnage.

The Republic of Arstotska, is Belkan's eastern neighbor with which it has a very chilly relationship with on the account of the treatment of native Belkans within it's borders. Tensions between ethnic Belkans and Arstotska loyalists are not new to the region but the conflicts between the two groups have been relatively bloodless in recent memory with the last flare up being in the early eighties and leaving a handful of Belkans dead after an apartment building was burned down by mistake.

While relations with Arstotska have been strained in the past, Foreign Minister Iakov Steynbakh has been working tirelessly to improve then, even spearheading efforts recently to ink a free trade agreement between the two nations that could see as much as nine hundred billion roubles over a five year period. Efforts to solidify trade relations between the two countries have stalled over corruption allegations leveled against Belka over the state's takeover Pekos Energy earlier this year.

Public outrage in Belka has been swift with trending twitter hashtags including ''#IStand4Nizhny'', and ''#FreeNizhny''. Many in Belka have both distant and close relatives who live in Arstotska and the foreign ministry has been inundated with calls regarding the status of individuals in Arstotska.

The Foreign Ministry in an official statement urged patience and restraint and asked for all citizens to refrain from traveling to Arstotska, specifically Nizhny unless absolutely necessary. Ministry officials are working as fast as they can verify the status of Belkan nationals living in Nizhny and urging all to return home at the earliest chance.

President Primakov was quick to condemn the senseless shooting of innocent civilians, tweeting that '' Violence is not the solution to difficult domestic problems.'' and tweeting the trending hashtag, ''#IStand4Nizhny''. The Belkan Red Cross has already extended the offer of aid to any and all residents of Nizhny that were affected by the shooting and plans to coordinate with the Interior Ministry about setting up aide stations along the border for those needing medical attention.

Belkans across all walks of have begun to call for independence referendums in Arstotska over the status of Belkan areas of the country and urge protesters to continue to fight for their right of self determination and independence, despite the dangers.

09-21-2017 NEWS UPDATE

The mercantile federal Republic is not one to boast about its successes, choosing instead to generally keep itself to itself, however there are somethings that need to be brought out to the public, and now one such endeavour is brought to you here. Over the last 2 years the Haven rocket Facility has been busy with frequent launches, most of which have been unmanned but some have been manned as Project Aurora, together with commercial enterprise and Scientific research company that just so happens to have satellite launches on its resume have been busy putting a scientific facility into orbit.

Image
The project, officially known as AUR-7621 has been formally christened by Project Aurora as Sirius Station has 2 large solar arrays and a large central living section that can hold upto 8 scientists in relative comfort 300 kilomters above the surface of the earth and is set to become a global leader in micro gravity research and earth observation as its high vantage point gives it an excellent vantage point to study climate changes and geological changes across the earth.

The first segment was launched from Khayr Var in 2014 then after the first segment and its solar arrays were installed there was a lull in activity whilst mother nature played around with the launch site and the runway was also expanded to permit the use of new hypersonic research aircraft, but as of january 2015 production restarted and every few months hailed a new launch of a module and gradually over the coming 2 years, Sirius grew to its fully operational size and with the coupling of the final module to the station, the honour of making the final connections to the station was made to 30 year old Katrina Collins.

Image
Trina collins making her way across the station on EVA 21

Today marks the landing of the first long term inhabitants of Sirius, their capsule gently landing in the water, 200km off the shores of Khayr Var in perfect conditions. After a meeting with commanders at the launch site, the crew of 3 were given a warm welcome by the public, when asked what they wish to do now that they're back home, the crew had different answers, Commander Mich Garrett who headed the mission said "to spend a night with my wife", Commander Gina Mc.Kinley commented "next week my husband goes up so I want to be there for that", and for Trina it seems, just wanted to stretch her wings and soar like a bird, so perhaps she's missing the station already, or perhaps get back to doing what she enjoys the most, flying sailplanes?

Good Morning Princetown

Image
The Principal Palace of Princetown as seen from the Giusti Square in Princetown-Ville this morning | Phto: AFP

08:12 a.m PRINCETOWN | The city-state of Princetown has woke up with the notice of a referendum to be celebrated the next monday.

After the new Prince of the Principality, Pierre Grimaldi decided to meet with the ambassador of the Blackhelm Confederacy to discuss matters of the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance, during the meeting he showed with hes disgust with some of the latests politics of the members of the alliance and how the entry of the Principality of British Hifax was conceived adducing that the active participation of the country as a member in the alliance is breaking some of the most important articles in the hifaxian constitution, the neutrality law before foreign issues in others countries and this was never asked to the hifaxian population.

Formally, the Principality of British Hifax started being a member of the Alliance in 2002, before that moment the tax haven situation of the city-state served as a privileged place for the banks of the EATA nations, in that moment, the entry of the Principality as a member of the alliance was under several conditions conceived by the Prince Ismael I and the National Assembly, some of the conditions clarified that the membership of the country was with exclusive and only economical aims, something that was respected by all the nations and the hifaxian governments during the years of membership. But recently Princetown has been the place for several popular manifestations showing they disgust with the form that the Principality is supporting war in zones of the region, the Prince Pierre and others members of the National Assembly thinks that those manifestations were -in part- because they were never asked if they wanted to be part of the alliance.

In the inform released by the Principal Palace of Princetown and the National Assembly, the referendum is convened to this monday, princetonians will decide if they want to remain in the Alliance no matter their politics or they will choose a new road for the Principality. This will be done with two ballot papers, one blue with the legend ‘Yes, I want the Principality of British Hifax to continue in the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance’ and other pink with the legend ‘No, I want the Principality of British Hifax out of the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance’.

Stay informed for next monday and remember to have all your proper documentation before going to your votation center.

Princetown decides

Image

20:31 a.m PRINCETOWN | Princetonians are deciding today since 7:00 a.m. their position in front of the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance membership of their country, as you may know, the Prince Pierre has decided to put to referendum the participation of his country in the alliance were the Blackhelm Confederacy -one of the principal economic partners of Hifax- is an active member.

According to statistics, a 58% of the hifaxian population wants to have the city-state out of the Alliance alleging that the principal politics of the countries members don’t represent their opinion of what to do or not to do in international issues.

Now 68% of the votation centres are closed and counting the votes where the ‘No, I want the Principality of British Hifax out of the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance’ is winning with an approximated of 2.500 votes more than the ‘Yes (...)’.

The Prince has informed in the letter released by the Principal Palace that if the ‘Yes (...)’ win he will resign to his position and his sister, the Princess of Hifax will be the head of state, all this after some months ago the principality suffered the death of the Prince Ismael I who after 48 years of reign he died in a car accident.

Let’s wait to see if princetonians decide to continue the road where they are going or they will pave a new one.

PRINCETOWNIANS DECIDE: EATA - YES OR NO
Newly enthroned prince of the British Hifax, Prince Pierre has placed a referendum on the membership of his country in the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance

Image

Princetown, British Hifax| True political shock comes from a small city-state in southern Astyria. Namely, newly enthroned Prince Pierre of the British Hifax has placed a referendum on the membership of his country to the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance. A simple question was put in front of the citizens, "Do you want the Principality of British Hifax to remain a member of the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance" and with two ballot papers of different colour voters made their decision.

According to the British Hifax News Network, after 68% of voting stations were processed, the "No" option was winning with over 2,500 votes. Prince Pierre has stated in his letter issued from the Principal Palace that if the voting results in favour of leaving the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance, he will officially resign from his position in favour of his sister, Princess Letizia.
A decision to make such referendum was made after the disagreement of Hifaxian government with the latest events in which some of the members of the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance were involved. The Prince, during the talks with the Blackhelm Confederate Ambassador, claimed that the membership of the British Hifax in the EATA is only breaking his nation's fundamental principles of neutrality, as written in the constitution and that the decision of late Prince Ismael I to join the Alliance in 2002 was not supported by the rest.

The future relations between the British Hifax and the Alliance lies uncertain, considering that the Alliance used the Principality as their tax haven and banking center, with the Bank of East Astyria headquartered in Princetown.
A prominent politicologist Lourens Aldenkamp has commended the decision to start the motion to leave the EATA adding that "The Alliance works only to destabilise the governments and economies of countries that are directly or indirectly opposing their interests". He later stated that "The British Hifax and its tax haven status was exploited by the Alliance for their money laundering and other criminal trade deals". The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Noordenstaat had refused to provide any further comments other than the result of the referendum is the reflection of the will of Hifaxian people.
We will continue to report on the referendum results as the voting commission in Hifax processes voting stations.

Violent clashes continue in Nizhny
Protesters continue to clash with government forces in Eastern Arstotska
Jame McManus (@JayMcManus)

Ulysses, C.D., United States - Protests in the Eastern Arstotskan city of Nizhny which erupted in violence last week have continued to grow in size and intensity throughout the week.Pro-Belkan protests in the central Astyrian nation of Arstotska have continuously exploded in violence and have now spread across the eastern provinces to other major cities in the small country to the west of the Belkan Federation.

The demonstrations which were originally peaceful protests against perceived government sponsored discrimination against ethnic Belkans in the region have now evolved into a rolling series of riots and violent clashes against police and government forces in the city and surrounding areas which have resulted in dozens of deaths on both sides in addition to hundreds of arrests.

Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk ordered in the Arstotskan Army early this week to restore order to what he described in a press release as a ''extremely volatile situation [that] is being agitated by the Belkan government''. The comments refer to a tweet posted by Belkan Premier Vladimir Primakov on the onset of the protests condemning the heavy handed response by the Arstotskan government.

Clashes between pro-Belkan militias that have operated in the area for decades have intensified as of late and senior government officials lay the blame squarely on the shoulders of the Belkan Federation with claims that Belka is either directly or indirectly supplying the militia forces with weapons and training in an attempt to destabilize the government.

The city of Nizhny has been engulfed in what many experts are calling the early stages of an insurgency against the government with reports coming out of the city of police convoys being ambushed in broad daylight in minority neighborhoods and large ''rolling'' gun battles being fought in the government quarter as demonstrators and militia members desperately try to cling to control of the area after overrunning the city hall building earlier in the week.

Nearby cities such as Lesnoy, Uralsky and Khasinsk have similarly escalated to violence and their city halls have been taken over with civilian reports saying that the police have largely evacuated the city for the relative safety of Western Arstotska.

Arstotskan Army forces operating in Eastern Arstotskan have come under ''sporadic small arms fire'' with increasing frequency and there are fears within the government that the country might be on the brink of a civil war.

Various Anti-Government elements have united in a broad coalition calling themselves the Nizhny People's Republic(Nyzhnya Narodna Respublika) known by the local acronym NNR have begun calling for a complete and total separation from the state of Arstotskan and a referendum on whether or not to call for the annexation of Eastern Arstotskan by the Belkan Federation. So far the NNR is primarily composed of leaders from the Belkan ultra-nationalist militia the Nizhny Volunteer Force and it's sister group the Uralsky Defense Force and smaller associated groups.

So far as long as the clashes haven't extended to the Demilitarized Zone(DMZ) separating the Belkan Federation of the Republic of Arstotska, the international community, specifically those states involved in the 2007 Belkan War have remained largely silent on the escalation of conflict in the country which was created during the waning days of the Great Astyrian War.

Confederate Chancellor asks businesses, citizens to leave Hifax

PARADISE CITY, Blackhelm Confederacy (BCNN) -- Chancellor Octavius Eaglebrand appeared in a televised press conference late last night, asking for Confederate citizens and businesses to leave Hifax in the aftermath of their referendum to withdraw from the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance.

"Any private citizens or businesses that are currently receiving preferential tax exemptions or deductions from residing in the nation of British Hifax are asked to make arrangements with the Confederate ambassador"
Eaglebrand told reporters. "The Confederacy will match those exemptions and deductions here at home for any who return to Hesperidesia."

The Chancellor also announced that the EATA Reserve, which had been located in the Hifaxian capital of Princetown, is to be moved effective immediately. Debate has already begun as to where it will be placed permanently, with Caprica City seemingly the frontrunner, but those details will likely not be released until after a joint EATA meeting on the subject. For now, the gold will likely be transported to the Scottopian Isles for safekeeping.

Already, many Confederate citizens have heeded the Chancellor's call and begun to head back to their home nation. Observers expect service between the Hifaxian Royal Airlines and airports in the Confederacy to be suspended in the coming days, so most people are moving fast hoping to get on a direct flight between the two nations before it is too late.

Confederate blockade to the Principality of British Hifax

PRINCETOWN 16:46 | The confederate Chancellor has informed to all the confederate citizens and business to leave the Principality of British Hifax after the result of the referendum celebrated last week. "Any private citizens or businesses that are currently receiving preferential tax exemptions or deductions from residing in the nation of British Hifax are asked to make arrangements with the Confederate ambassador" told Eaglebrand to the reporters in Paradise City after he took the desicion of starting a blockeade to the tiny city-state, the Prince Pierre in contradiction with the measure taken from the other side of the sea has informed that the hifaxian Government will continue welcoming confederates looking for a new life in the Principality, ''...that's how has been trough the years, our countries had good relations since the formation of the Confederacy, we don't see the result of a referendum as a inflection point...'' said the Prince during a conference about the situation in the Principal Palace of Princetown.

The confederate government has also announced the suspension of flights to and from the Akoya International Airport located in Princetown, the decision has taken most tourists flying to the Principality for this summer by surprise, Royal Air announced in their official Twitter account and website that although the confederate government has taken the desicion of starting a block the airline will gift plane tickets to touritst that want go back to the Blackhelm Confederacy or the Principality of British Hifax.

Image
Hifaxian Police in the Akoya International Airport

From the embassy of the Blackhelm Confederacy diplomats had informed to El Día that the government will mantain an emergency staff until further notice, the Prince Pierre told us that the hifaxian Embassy in Paradise City will continue working as usual until the confederate government take a decision envolving them, the Minister of Foreign Affiars of the Principality of British Hifax also told us that the Ministry won't take any action in the hifaxian embassy in Paradise City from where the activity has been surprisingly low today without many official cars entering or leaving the building, however there has been informed that the Ambassador is already there.

Now is the National Parliament of British Hifax who should take a new movement before the diplomatic crisis startss being an economical crisis. From what we now the hifaxian economy is strong enough to face this kind of blockeades but however the desicion has irrupted in the princetonian Stock Exchange where the Hifaxian Franc has perceived a devaluation of 0.54%, a small number that could continue growing if the government doesn't take any action to prevent a crisis.

Ulysses, C.D., United States - With referendum results still being withheld by the Hifaxian government but all indications pointing towards a unilateral decision to disassociate itself with the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance; senior EATA leadership have reportedly been taking covert actions to remove the small micro-nation from the EATA infrastructure.

The Principality joined the alliance in 2002, seeking to benefit from the increased free trade and tax exemptions that would be granted to it from membership, maximizing it's status as a so called ''tax haven''. Since ascending into the organization, Hifax has quickly become a rather important node in the global cabal that is the East Astyrian Treaty and Trade Organization, hosting the EATA Reserve Bank and hosting numerous East Astyrian big wigs over the last decade and a half, growing quite wealthy while doing so.

Membership hasn't been without it's challenges however with detractors claiming that it's participation in the alliance was in violation of it's constitution, specifically in regard to articles on neutrality law and the lack of a precursor referendum before applying for membership which was done unilaterally by the former Prince of British Hifax.

These issues have seen a massive resurgence in the popular conscience as the alliance has been thrust into a complicated conflict involving the Nova Deseret, Mesoland, Aswick, and Caprica.

RECAP

Earlier this year the seizure of a Meso ship by Nova Deseret and the downing of a Caprican meteorological UAV ignited long standing tensions between Mesoland and Nova Deseret that culminated in President Kenway declaring a maritime and aerial restriction zone in West Caprican Sea in order to defuse the situation which instigated an attack against the Caprican city of Oldtown by radical elements of the an Nova Deseret paramilitary militia group.

In a press conference later in the year, the King of Aswick denounced the no-fly zone and announced plans to continue Aswick's naval patrols in the area, an action many in the EATA felt was an inflammatory and provocative measure meant to test the Kenway Administration while it was still reeling from the devastating attacks in Oldtown earlier in the year.

The whole situation cause many in Astyria to fear that the due to the complicated systems of alliances between the parties involved that a regional war was imminent, one that could possibly put the EATA against the TARP alliance which contains the principle nations of Aquitayne, Riysa and Cassone.

It is important to remember that Caprica and Aquitayne possess a ''special relationship'' having been part of the original founding group of nations of the EATA.

British Hifax

The Hifaxian people have grown more than squeamish at the thought of the outbreak of hostilities between some of the largest and most capable armed forces in the region and as the current location of the EATA Reserve Bank, they'd be right in the line of fire, despite their constitutions declaration of neutrality.

It took the death of the last Prince of British Hifax and the crowning of the current Prince, Pierre Grimaldi to spark an referendum which major news sources are reporting ahead of the official count to be in favor of disassociation with the EATA. The Hifaxian government has been relatively quite about their intentions if the results do indeed show the will of the people to leave the alliance and what measures exactly are to be taken in response to that outcome.

EATA

The Blackhelm Confederacy which has been the arm, hammer and voice of the EATA in the 21st Century aren't apparently waiting for the smoke to settle.

Chancellor Octavius Eaglebrand in a televised press conference yesterday implored Confederate citizens and business to make a hasty exit from the Principality, telling citizens and corporations receiving ''preferential tax exceptions or deductions'' from British Hifax to make arrangements with their ambassador and that the Confederacy would match said exceptions and deductions after returning their operations back to the confederacy.

In addition, the Chancellor announced the intentions to relocate the EATA Reserve Bank and it's accompanying gold and currency reserves out of the Principality to the Scottopian Isles, presumably to Scottopia City until a more permanent location could be secured.

It is clear that these actions are directly related to the referendum and the Chancellor's perhaps knee-jerk reaction to the expected results are a clear message to all within the alliance who are having second thoughts about their commitment to the it's charter.

While we are still waiting on reactions from other members of the Alliance; a source close to EATA spokeswoman Joanna Everdeen speaking off the record has said that the alliance is working quickly to ''remove Hifax from the EATA infrastructure'' starting first with the relocation of the EATA Reserve Bank and presumably followed by the removal of EATA military and commercial assets in country as well as any EATA office spaces.

Ambassador at large to the EATA Marcus Smith spoke to reporters from the Herald after a late night meeting with President Kenway earlier this week ahead of the announcement to remove the Reserve Bank from Hifax, saying ''[that] the EATA is an alliance for mutual security and cooperation and all members are expected to do their part''. This seemingly was in response to reports of friction between Caprica and the Confederacy with other members of the Alliance, including British Hifax that they weren't showing sufficient commitment to the alliances actions abroad.

The Kenway administration has declined to comment on the situation at this time. However, sources close to the President say that he is intent on capitalizing on the situation by securing Caprica City as the next location for the EATA Reserve Bank and possibly as the new regional headquarters for the organization.

Truth or Fiction

While East Astyria has been overcome with saber rattling as of late, the lack of action since the official implementation of the US No Fly Zone over the West Caprican Sea has resulted in high approval ratings for the President domestically and the Prosperity Party is riding a wave of high popularity and all indications are that it will carry them to victory in next November's election cycle.

Kenway himself is gearing up for a reported diplomatic conference in Telora later this month regarding the situation in Nova Deseret followed by a face to face with Chancellor Eaglebrand in early November.

Regional securities exchanges are showing apprehension at the shake up diplomatic relations in the EATA with the Hifaxian franc devaluing half a percent since Eaglebrand's announcement. Caprican exchanges are showing a corresponding strengthening in the talent and investors are cautiously optimistic that if Caprica City secures the bid to host the Reserve Bank there will be a resurgent bull market in the United States.

G'Morning , A lot of stuff has been happening really quickly and it is my duty to all my readers to do my best to bring ACCURATE and UNBIASED information to the masses which the mainstream media seems entirely reluctant to do.

I'm a small town girl from St. Hewitt who got a scholarship to Cumbria U which happens to have the best journalism school in the country, and while I was there I was taught that the people have a right to know what their governments don't want to know and to shine a lot on all the things that people in power want to keep in the dark.

Free, unbiased press are the cornerstone to our democracy so I've spent the last couple months in Ulysses in the metaphorical trenches to really understand our government and to get the real truth.

And the truth is folks, President Kenway is a duplicitous, conniving opportunist which doesn't make him that much different from any other politician you've ever heard of besides the fact that he is our chief executive.

Ollie oxen rider sits over in Bright Hill and uses his old boy network to dictate his orders behind the scenes so his political dealings in the back rooms of corporations don't hurt his approval ratings and he can sit there publicly and say he's been a stellar president when it's election time.

President Kenway has been colluding with Chancellor Eaglebrand, who I assume is just as bad as his ''good friend'', to bully, coerce or otherwise intimidate half the region into joining the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance and keep them there in an effort to obtain a monopoly of force over the region. From Bankampar to British Hifax; countries across the world have felt their warmongering either overtly like what they're attempting to do in British Hifax as we speak by orchestrating unofficial sanctions against the country in retaliation for the Hifaxian people exercising their right to self-determination to covertly in Kamalbia where they used special forces to influence local elections, assassinate, bribe and extort locals into maintaining the status quo, essentially turning the country into a de-facto puppet state for the EATA.

It might sound like I'm being a little harsh on them because the challenges of national security and global politics supposedly require tough decisions that I might not understand or so the right wing will have you believe but let me break down the evidence.

While I was in the capital, originally to report on corporate price fixing with government collusion, I was approached by a senior members of the Kenway Administration who had finally developed a conscience and he enlightened me on quite a few of the government's unofficial official dealings.

First, Kenway and Eaglebrand through back channels set out an agreement that the United State's own ally, Aquitayne was a threat to their EATA establish world order, presumably due to it's interference in Insula Fera and now the situation in Nova Deseret, and decided that the best way to counteract the United Kingdom was to encircle it in a ring of friendly EATA friendly or member states to neutralize it's ability to respond to their actions. They accomplished this actions by coercing smaller states with preferential economic and tax benefits and threats of future retaliatory strikes or aid to opposition forces.

My source has confirmed that Caprican special forces are indeed still active on the ground in Kamalbia after the Kenway administration announced that it was pulling troops out of that country early this year. Those troops are now engaged in operations to not to stop terrorism but to rig elections, facilitating the movement of weapons through the country and maintain the flow of narcotics out of the country into ''hostile'' states to destabilize them from within. There was even some collusion from the confederacy and Bankampar in these actions and all for the benefit not of the stability of the region or counter terrorism but for lining the pockets of EATA politicians and keeping the EATA at the top of the food chain.

Second, while Chancellor Eaglebrand happens to be the only one of the two with the guts to come out and retaliate publicly against British Hifax for jumping ship from the EATA; Kenway has instructed his administration to ''advise'' Caprican companies close to the government to quietly pack up shop and close their businesses in Princetown and across the Principality which is the unofficial official policy of the EATA even before the referendum results have been released.

This is probably the clearest case of these two using their power to undermine the democratic process of other nations by levying roundabout economic sanctions against states that won't do as their bidden by the dynamic duo.

And where is the international community while this is going on? They're letting it happen out of fear of further retaliation by the EATA. Romberg was the first to feel the effects of this cabal when the EATA spearheaded the sanctions movement last year against them for moving unarmed forces into the Lorencia tundra region, an area that was relatively uninhabited and underdeveloped. They got away with it because they were operating under the auspices of regional peace and with the tacit blessing of the international community when the world was still reeling from terrorist attacks, and the aftermath of the Belkan War. The methods haven't changes just the targets.

Now for the icing on the cake. In what has to be the closest to an impeachable offense by President Kenway, my source confirmed that Kenway has instructed his administration to cover up a possible second suspect in the Oldtown massacre, one that has no links to Nova Deseret and would suggest domestic terrorism.

CID agents were told by ''higher ups'' that evidence that pointed to an alternate suspect was to be suppressed and that the country had already ''got their man''. While the government hasn't as of yet, responded to my Freedom of Information requests for all evidence pertaining to the Oldtown Massacre; agents involved in the case who I asked that I not reveal their names have confirmed that the bodies of several Caprican men were found outside of Oldtown days after the shooting and that they fit the build of those reported to have committed the attack. Who killed them and why is ''still under investigation'' but that investigation appears to be going no where and that's exactly the way the government wants it.

I'm not saying that these two men are criminals but if anyone else did the things that they have done, they'd be locked up before the week was over with no questions asked. We as informed people need to start asking the hard questions and taking the hard answers.

The Day after the blockade

PRINCETOWN 23:00 | The hifaxian government is living their first day with the blockade imposed by the Confederate and Caprican government. El Día has done some researches in the streets of the capital to show you how princetonians are living with the imposed blockade.

The blockade affected the 23.3% of the goods in hypermakets of Princetown that come from the Blackhelm Confederacy. Julia Lurz, a 54-year-old woman who lives in Saint Laurent, one of the most expensive neighbourhoods in Princetown told us that the situation is now good but she and her family aren't looking for a good future if the situation continues, she also told us that she and her husband voted for a Hifax out of the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance but they never thought that the Blackhelm Confederacy and Ord Caprica could start a blockeade, sadly, this is the reality of many hifaxians who voted for having their country out of the Alliance without thinking the economical consequences for their small country.

The strong and powerful economy of the Principality of British Hifax is diverse. Services, banking and tourism are the key pillars of the hifaxian economy. Since their entrance in the Alliance the economic activity of the east astyrian countries in the tax-haven country had increased by a 35% from which a big part is in risk after the confederante and caprician decision. We know that Ulyses Herald and BCNN are closing their branches in the Media City, the tax-free zone for news network located in the Montecito area of the Quarry Reserve neighbourhood of Princetown.

In Crystal View Mall we talked with Martin Green, a 25-year-old guy, he lives in Crystal Cove and is finishing his studies in the International University of the Princetown, where many confederates and caprican students are looking for a better education, he talked to us about the hard situation of some of his friends that are from those countries, ''...yesterday xxx (a confederate friend of Martin who didn't want to give his name) had to go to the embassy, they told him to hurry up and take the last Royal Air of other flight to Paradise City, he didn't want to leave Princetown, he is almost a native here. This kind of politics took by the governments including ours is affecting so much this kind of things...'' said Martin looking worried by his friend who is now back in his country.

The International University of the Princetown has 4,705 students from where 1.230 are from overseas. The Blackhelm Confederacy, Ord Caprica or the State of Bankpampar are the main native countries of those students that now have to go back to their country or face a unexplained future about their careers, ''the problem isn't the University or the hifaxian Government, we already told them that we aren't going to take any measure againtst them, they are exercising their right to education like any hifaxian student, the real problem is what the Confederate or Caprican embassy are going to do with them if they don't leave the city-state'' told us the Professor Maria Allende, president of IUP.

Now the National Parliament has the desicion to continue being in the East Astyrian Treaty Alliance, leaving or came up with a new solution. Our sources in the government told us that Sebastian Mor, Minister of Stete of the Principality, want to have Hifax as an associated member of the Alliance from where the country could have a democratic voice.

Stay Tuned to El Día and continue enjoying all the information about the hifaxian blockade imposed by the Blackhelm Confederacy and Ord Caprica.
