The young chap means little harm.". Turning back from his personal guard back to the Eurasian Emperor, and continued attempting to converse back towards this possible ally.

Megatron turned around to greet O-1. Apparently, he was the leader of this organisation. He let out a small chuckle after O-1's last statement, "Indeed."

If we bring up our alliance early, Megatron thought, then perhaps he would be swayed easier to join us. At the very least, it would serve us well to describe to him about its existence; that is, if he is unaware of it. "Tell me, O-1," Megatron inquired, "have you ever heard of the Galactic Imperialistic Legions before?"

Megatron smirked at the knowledge that Turnabout and Bartholomew knew of his alliance. Unfortunately, they seemed to have moved away from imperialistic endeavours. Though he was still intrigued about his "other ambitions." As such, he pressed forwards and asked, "If you don't mind me asking, what are your other, more fitting ambitions for Soyouso?"

Starscream mentally jumped, not out of fear, but out of surprise, when Bartholomew said he can "smell those types." Starscream knew that, if he were found out to be a traitor under Turnabout's command, he almost certainly would have been killed. But he considered himself to be one step ahead of him; he was intelligent enough to be sycophantic towards others above him. Faking loyalty, he thought, would lead to gained respect by his superiors, and taking over the likes of Turnabout and Megatron would be far, far easier, and he'd be less likely to be killed.

"Devout follower... Lesser god... I take it gods are real in this place?" Starscream inquired to Megatron.

"Apprently so," Megatron responded. "Selx reminds me a lot of the Head of Propaganda, Lugnut; a fervent follower of mine. Endlessly loyal towards myself, the High Lords and the Decepticon cause, he is; but not mindlessly loyal. He reveres me, even back when I had just started the cause when I was a young Tarnian Prime Minister. He is the Conjunx Endura of General Strika, similar in loyalty, and famed for her intelligence and her expertise at stratagems."

What a fool, Megatron thought. He is a diplomat at a summit! Showing nervousness or, worse, fear only reveals your weaknesses to your allies and your enemies; typical of that of an organic. Still, I must keep up appearances if I wish to acquire an alliance with these people. And who knows: maybe he's better than first impressions would allow me to perceive?

"My name is Megatron, Emperor of the Cybertronian Empire," Megatron introduced, placing a servo on his chest. He outstretched his arm towards his fellow councilmechs: Starscream and Soundwave. "And these are President Starscream and Soundwave, Head of Communications and Grand Inquisitor." Megatron leant down over Whithammer, perhaps to intimidate him, or perhaps to observe him. He was certainly smaller than him, as he anticipated. "Do tell me: what is your reason for attending this summit, Whithammer? Are you a member of the Iron Alliance?"

Whithammer looked at him and the others and examined them and did a small hand wave towards them and he had a awkward smile on his face.

"I was sent here by my emperor as all the other Lords are currently getting ready for a war in our galaxy, he sent me to regain communications with the iron alliance as we had been gone for so long" Whithammer said

"And we also went through two or three leaders in the time span but they are still very well alive in stasis, Emperor N'eviar and Mephiraz of course" Whithammer explained.

Megatron felt emboldened by Whithammer's response. This was his chance to explain to him all about the GIL! Perhaps he'll join us, he thought.

"The Galactic Imperialistic Legions," Megatron explained, "are a galactic organisation who focus on galactic conquest. That is, we are a collection of empires, federations, and other such planet-spanning governments who are united solely by conquest. We came here to foster an alliance with the Iron Alliance, especially with its leader O-1."

Bartholomew and Skitty spoke with enthusiasm, each very clearly genuine about what they were saying. They had that twinkle in their eye. Bartholomew talked first, about their reasons for not seeking more land. "I, as a fascist, have a duty to put the needs of all law abiding Soyousian citizens before anything else, for our unity is what makes us strong. Megatron, you certainly seem to me the type who understands that...drive. You know, the need to have control because of knowing you know what's best and efficient. I haven't made a name for it... but I think you know what I'm talking about."

Skitty continued. Her voice was basically a higher pitched and feminine version of Bartholomew's. "Imperial expansion of Soyouso would not benefit us in this time. While I would be happy to spread the beauty of our fascist society to our neighbors, I won't make Benito Mussolini's mistake of going into conquest too rashly. We are already large enough for our population from past conquests, and that's a very good thing considering we've been known to have a lot of baby booms throughout our history, including now. I have no logical reason to continue expansion right now, and doing so would require me to neglect certain things that would be catastrophic in the end. I now must focus on internal stability, improving the strength of the regime, and as a result protection of the people from enemies who wish to use parasitic tactics to take us down, which was attempted once."

Bartholomew took over. "By doing this, upping our military to even more obsessive levels than we already have will be great for border protection. There are plenty of able adults in my nation just gushing with glee at the thought of joining the military and police force. As dictator, I must make sure all classes work together without inner bickering, and with complete focus on them, it will be easier. I call it 'Control-Freak Leadership', or 'vutokiniki'. And to further make that true, I'll be publishing a manifesto, so future leaders after me will know my wisdom, and as will my people in case said future leader betrsys Soyousian fascism. Some familiar machine noises struck Sorghum-Iron as the arrival of another conference participant was announced. He couldn't make out where he remembered the noises from, then the mechanical monstrosity entered the room and instantly refreshed and rejuvenated his memory. Shock and amazement overtook the need to determine where and when the sounds were first heard, however. There's fucking transformers in this room now. Smoke, I demand an explanation after this is all over. His pen began inscribing again but this time it left behind a sketch of the decepticon. Sorghum-Iron had modest scores when he was taught art in school, but he found that as he grew older he could transform what he saw into work of the pen or pencil far more effectively. Four lines of Hangul above the decepticon sketch was a very vague diagram on ouroboroism as observed at this event as Sorghum-Iron didn't want either himself or others to vomit when examining contents of this notebook.

The other leaders were being obnoxious or pretentious as they did before. With the Dorian amputated and disappeared, the Olimpiadan withdrawn and the Hallegian having chosen to shut up, these despots could converse without being interrupted, giving Sorghum-Iron opportunities to learn more about their worldviews, though he didn't expect much from that. As the atmosphere began to lax, his mind transferred focus onto the question of when this conference would end, so he could ask Smoke-Jaguar what the fuck was all this, he knew for sure only the Great Instigator knew.

Megatron was intrigued when Skitty and Bartholomew spoke of increasing their regime's stability. This was something he had something of a speciality in; something that he ardently supported. "May I suggest shadowplay," Megatron suggested. "We alter the brain module of a dissident to remove thoughts that rival our wishes. You could call it something similar to the art of lobotomy," Megatron suggested. "Take Lugnut, the 'bot who I mentioned earlier: he was protoformed a ardent follower of the Decepticons, and zealously supports it. Our plan is to, bit-by-bit, remove the possibility of rebellion to improve the amount of power we hold. For instance, we have propaganda played continuously by our news stations on television decrying the Autobots as monstrous terrorists. We have banned anything online that we perceive as against our values. The different classes know not to defy our wishes; and they don't bicker beyond trivial items that are easily solved with a little push via manipulation and threats by our local police forces."

"Give it a few generations of protoforms, and given that we're not overthrown by some cocksure coup," Starscream interrupted, "I should think that our rule will remain eternal. With the invention of transwarp technology, we hope to go back to the past and kill the original founder of the Autobots: Guardian Prime; and travel to the future to solidify our rule and ensure we rule as gods over the galaxy."

Solidify my rule, I should say, Starscream thought. He was destined for leadership; all he needed to do was to appear loyal to Megatron - as loyal as he always was, anyway - and then overthrow him when the time was right. Maybe when they travelled to the past. But that wasn't the time. Not now.

Starscream looked towards Sorghum-Iron and saw him sketching a diagram on the three Decepticons. "Why does he need to sketch a diagram on us? Well, I hope that it's a damn good drawing of me, to show my brilliance, of course..." Starscream murmured as he stared at the sketch while alternating his attention to Megatron.

Bartholomew smiled, his black lipstick spreading widely. "One respected by both those gifted in the use intellect and those fleet in battle, I take it?" The two were content. After previous encounters with diplomats who came just to curse out those of authoritarian ideology, without a single good faith attempt to understand opposing viewpoint, it was refreshing to speak with people who got it.

As relations improved among Iron Alliance member nations, the arrangement began to facilitate economic and scientific cooperation as well. Perhaps the best example of such would be the Supreme Authority's strong ties with Kyoki Chudoku, which has permitted unprecedented breakthroughs in the harmonization of technology and magic. The tokens we provided for transport to and from this meeting were only made possible because of this.
Most recently, our nations have come under new threat. A group of d*m*cr*tic nations, led by Volkmacht, have formed their own boys' club against us, the United Nations against Supreme Authority and Allies. But it is quite obvious that Supreme Authority is only a scapegoat for their true agenda; the propagation of anarchy against authority and the destruction of the rule of law. The UNSAA is but one of many reasons why the Iron Alliance is needed now more than ever."

For a split-second, O-1 felt a flicker of fear at the three massive robots that somehow managed to just barely fit into the meeting hall. But he immediately pushed it aside. As Lord Executor of the Iron Alliance, he could not afford to appear at all intimidated. "Megatron. Bartholomew and Skitty. It is good to see such fruitful and meaningful discussion amongst us. I am indeed aware of the Galactic Imperialistic Legions. I find its goal of multiversal unification to be admirable indeed, and I am interested in discussing potential avenues of cooperation at some point. However, I believe that military conquest is but one of many means by which unification may be accomplished. In fact, often it is not the ideal means. Consider your own organization; the GIL. Through diplomacy and cooperation, you have accomplished a measure of unification and given rise to a far greater power than would conquest alone have provided. But as we all know, often military action is necessary, and I am pleased that you, along with my good friend Bartholomew and Skitty, acknowledge this bitter truth so readily.
In addition, I must clarify my personal role in the Iron Alliance. As Lord Executor, I am second-in-command, followed very closely by Enforcer Turnabout. Supreme Leader Victor Vonstein is the current leader of the Iron Alliance."

His response here would very likely shape the continuation of the rest of the Summit and whether or not the GIL would gain another member, or another few members. We are an empire founded through the conclusion of a civil war with the Autobots; an integral belief of the Decepticons' ideology - Technoism - is that the Milky Way must be unified with we Cybertronians at the top of the food chain, something that the Autobots seem to be incapable of comprehending. Even within the Milky Way, Starscream and I understand that galactic powers such as the Solstar Order, the Autobot Commonwealth and the Galactic Council rival our own, and we haven't conquered all of the one hundred billion plus planets out there; we've conquered a mere faction of it."

"However," Megatron continued, "that isn't to say we won't achieve that. As such, the High Lords voted to create our own intergalactic organisation: the Galactic Imperialistic Legions, as a means of doing as such. There, we are bound solely by one ideology: galactic conquest and annihilating powers stronger than us in the pursuit of said conquest. After we conquer the Milky Way, we'll simply move onto the next, and the next one, until we've conquered the Local Group. Oh dear. If it wasn't bad enough that the Union was perhaps on the brink of war within an organisation that was known to count interstellar powers amongst its ranks, the decision to do so now rested on his shoulders.
