You could also refer to them as "supply side" economics, or economic policy and thought that favors suppliers over customers, in the belief that by helping, promoting, and defending suppliers in the market, the wealth will "trickle down" to consumers.

Tax cuts and deregulation for the rich with the hope that they'll create new jobs and, therefore, their wealth will trickle down.

Except past a certain point the cost of expanding the business outweigh the benefits of just doing shitty things to the consumer.

Basically, if you cut taxes, the economy will grow, and it will grow to the point where the lost revenue from taxation will be made up for in new economic growth.

Its a theory that goes like this: give the wealthy tax cuts and let them hold onto their wealth, then they will invest that wealth in their business. Their business will grow, wages will improve, more jobs will be created. Thus the wealth from the top 'trickles down'. There are definately better definitions than that, but that's the gist of it.

Deregulating small businesses I can see making sense, deregulating corporate-level America just seems like a major no-no.

You know, the nice thing about the Trump administrations is I think we can now safely say that the whole Roswell thing was bullshit. There's no way Trump could have kept quiet about that for this long.

Probably because they're an opposition party in not-campaign mode?

What did Republicans stand for in 09, again?
