Upon returning to Fernao permanently, Philip was appointed President of the Winegrowers Association, the chief lobbyist for the small winery industry. In 2007, he was also appointed to the board of the Fernao Farmer's Federation, one of the peak body for farmers nationwide and served in both capacities until 2015. That year he accepted a party position in the Coalition of Workers and Farmers.

In 2017, Philip was nominated and confirmed as the Secretary of Rural Development in the Cabinet of President Krishnan.

He resigned his position in 2012 to settle down in Fortaleza, where he was tapped to lead the city's largest bus operator out of administration. While on the job, he helped pro-democracy militants by clandestinely hosting them in bus depots located throughout the city.

In June 2017, he defeated Ulisses Seabra of the Phalanx and Red-Green Chetan Nagarkar with a 12% majority to become mayor of the Free City of Fortaleza.

At that time Chetan's father Rameshwar Nagarkar worked as a bus driver, and his mother Kumari Nagarkar worked in the local library service, and the family lived a rather comfortable life despite the difficulties posed by the regime. All of that changed in 1997 when Chetan's father was arrested and killed by the intelligence service after being accused of helping transport anti-government activists, as it became clear that the country was becoming increasingly unsafe Chetan was sent by his mother to live with nearby family in India.

Chetan remained in India through the formative years of his life, eventually meeting his wife while studying for a degree in Politics and International Affairs at a local university. All throughout this time, Chetan had not forgotten his connection to his homeland, and after being informed of the real circumstances of his fathers death he began to communicate with Shim Seo-Yeon, the outside voice of one of the many left-wing groups operating in the country.

In 2012 Chetan discreetly returned to Fernão and began to work with anti-government forces inside the capital including Nikolaas Haverkamp, who at the time ran one of the largest bus networks in the city.

In 2017 Chetan unsuccessfully ran to become Mayor of Fortaleza, but he continues to be Chair of the Red-Green contingent in the city council.

Angelina was herself devastated. She left her job as a lawyer for a firm and took solely to raising Daniel. Meanwhile, her marriage was beginning to crumble as Óscar's verbal abuse was starting to take a physical turn. Nearly eleven years into their marriage, Óscar was charged with domestic abuse against Angelina. After Óscar was found guilty and the couple divorced, Angelina left their flat in London and took Daniel to Bordeaux in France. Angelina's political career began when she and ten year old Daniel returned to London, where Angelina would work as a consultant for women forced into arranged marriages. Women's advocacy took Angelina all over the world, from Pakistan to the United States. In 2002, she and fourteen year old Daniel would find a home in Fernão.

In Fernão, Angelina worked as a consultant for various politicians whilst working as a secret advocate for women and the democracy movement. Since then, Angelina has continued to fight for women's rights and has not been remarried. Her life as a domestic abuse victim has helped shape her political character.

Background: The colorful polemicist Null Bella rose to fame as lead singer of the Fernão anti-communist punk / electronic dance music band Lysenko's Harvest, most notable for the fatwa issued against them by Shia clerics in Qom, Iran for their controversial album covers, particularly the cover of their second album Ayatollah Cockamamie which caricaturized the late Ayatollah Khomeini in the nude and being autoerotically asphyxiated and sodomized by the Hindu god Ganesha. Though Bella has alternately claimed the album cover is a "harmless joke" and "disumbrationist art," the title track of the album features a reading of Khomeini's edicts on personal hygiene and how to use rocks to wipe after defecating as the Islamic call to prayer and toilet flushing sounds reverberate in the background over a trance drum and bass track. Critics have compared the song to Negativland's banned parody of U2 and American Top 40 host Kasey Kasem using Kasem's own profanity-laced outtakes. The album name was also inspired by a line of dialogue in the 1997 film Donnie Brasco. Much of Lysenko's Harvest songs feature pop culture references and samples of political speeches and religious sermons used ironically. The band name refers to the famines in the former Soviet Union and other communist nations caused by the political embrace of the psuedoscience of Trifim Lysenko. Lysenkoism is a recurring target in Null Bella's hostility towards communist ideologies. Bella is often quoted as saying "...these imbeciles tried to magically turn weeds into wheat for over 30 years by pointing AK-47s at farmers. Do we even need to entertain the idea that communism isn't stupid?"

Politics have always driven Null Bella's rise to fame, and his libertarian polemics have now produced a 14 volume book series on the efficacy of capitalism over socialism and communism entitled Why Communism is F***ing Stupid. The books are international bestsellers, bolstered by his own two-hour daily right-wing talk radio programs. Following communist violence in his native Sarkar and an assassination attempt upon him that killed his wife and bandmate / bass guitarist Marta, Null Bella joined the fledgling Liberal Democrat Party and eventually became elected Senator on a platform of gun rights extremism and anti-communism. Several of Senator Bella's public speaking engagements have been cancelled due to violent protests and bomb threats. Bella takes the controversy in stride, saying "commies gotta commie."

While it is now considered "sub-par", it kickstarted a new company - one which sells goods as well as produces them. The company was recently passed down to his youngest son, Jay Walker, who, while is not as hard a worker as his father, still manages very well with his family. The company has occasionally been attacked for being corrupt and trying to bribe officials for pro-capitalism, but most claims are by radical left-wing political ideologists. Few lawsuits have hit the company; a safety suit once occurred, which forced the company to make changes and pay back the injured worker, but the staff stated that the protocols were still in the planning, and regulations were finally adapted.
