Welcome to the first ever West Barkadian Pitches election! This vote will last for 48 hours or so, and after, all votes cast will not be counted. Hopefully soon, the True Pine will have an election of their own.
The Pitches are similar to Blorbs' Grand Council. The Barkadian Peaceful Revolution installed a government similar to Blorbs, but we are fully independent. We do though, choose to align to Blorbs and other similar nations, for protection of the revolution and our economy.
Revolutionary Party: Far-Left Lib:
The most radical of the leftist parties, they strive for worldwide communism while also promoting almost every civil liberty. They take inspiration from far left parties in Blorbs and Anderia as a model of their beliefs.
Socialist Pine Party: Left Lib:
A more moderate leftist party, they strive for socialism to be the prime economic system worldwide. They also allow many civil liberties under the socialist model, however, they are more moderate of the far left, and disagree with the Revolutionary Party on what economic system and how it should happen in Barkadia.
Neutrality Party: center, center:
The most moderate party in both economics and civil liberties, they strive for compromises between both left and right, and hope that Barkadia can transition peacefully to a more capitalist system, while still applying restrictions and certain laws that they can later compromise on.'
Monarchists: Center-Right, Center-Lib:
Although the monarchy was ousted during the peaceful revolution, support for a return of it is not gone. They would like a return of the monarchy, but they also hope that a more competent and intelligent monarchy will take the throne. They believe in capitalism with less restrictions and laws will lead Barkadia to greatness, along with a parliamentary democracy.
True Libertarians: Far-Right, Lib:
The most right party in Barkadia, they favor as little restrictions and laws as possible. They consider that taxation is theft, and also strive to lower if not eradicate taxation. They also vouch for privatization of all state services, and most if not all civil liberties. Some might even consider themselves anarcho-capitalists.
The Constitutionalist Party: Right, Auth:
This party is in favor of a free market economy, and vouch for privatization of some services. However, unlike the True Libertarians, they vouch that the state must provide some services, and that taxation is not theft, and that they need it to provide for the state. They favor basic civil liberties like free speech and press, but not others.
VOTING RULES
In order to vote, place parties you like the most at the top, and those you don't like towards the bottom. You can vote as many parties as one would like to. But, you must vote at least one. It must be an ordered list.
The Revolutionary Party and the Socialist Pine Party have a 1x multiplier
The Neutrality Party has a 0.8x multiplier
The Monarchists have a 0.75x multiplier
The True Libs and the Constitutionalist Party have a 0.5x multiplier
