We don't have an independence day as we have always been an independent nation. However, we have Discovery Day and Founding Day. Discovery Day (who's name is a misnomer) celebrates the establishment of the Gandoor Grand Council in 1587, which was the first unified government in our nation, and Founding Day, which celebrates the ratification of the Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Gandoor in 1904 and the establishment of the modern Democratic Republic.

Discovery Day is celebrated on 5 June and Founding Day is celebrated on 12 October.

TurtleShroom doesn't have an independence day. Rather, it has Founders' Day, which marks the unification of the two non-human Khanates and the Missionary colony that converted them to Christianity, at the behest and charisma of TurtleShroom's national hero, Jones Found. The country celebrates Founders' Day on October 13th of every year.

This Founders' Day will be TurtleShroom's two hundred twenty first "birthday".

On August 9th, 1965, the Party for National Independence and the Government of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II finalized an agreement that would grant St. Perpetua and Felicity its independence. Contained in this agreement was a plan -the Sanbra Plan- called for universal suffrage elections by May 12th of 1968. Until this time, Sts. Perpetua and Felicity would be run by a transitional governor, advised by native functionaries of the Party.

Percival MacLeod, the leader of the PNI, hastened this process, demanding that all sovereignty be ceded to PNI by September 4th of 1967. He called for elections the following year, and the two parties renegotiated the treaty. British ships left Noli on 2 September, and St.s Perpetua and Felicity were recognized as being independent two days later.

Unfortunately, the upcoming election's two parties -the Democratic Workers' League, a communist front party; and the PNI- engaged in street battles in the lead up to the vote. MacLeod declared a state of emergency on April 7, 1968, decreasing turnout and ensuring a PNI victory. The Communist Party- Marxist-Leninist was banned two weeks later and, with the help of MI6 and the CIA, its leadership disappeared. The Social Democratic Party and the Garveyit People's Party were forced into a unity government with the PNI, and the Macleod Era began in earnest.

Today, Independence Day is the final day of Freedom Week, which begins on August 28th (the day the British Empire outlawed slavery). People dress as "campones" or peasant guerrillas and pirates. Boxing, cricket, football and rugby matches fill local calendars, and fireworks displays light the night sky as Perpetuans slurp kelada beer and eat muresi, the national dish made of smoked mackerel, okra, chilies and rice.

Our Independence Day has been celebrated on September 10 ever since 1760. This date is the date we were officially independent from Great Britain and declared a republic.

Saheil has two independence days: le Jour des Coquelicots on March 5 which celebrates independence from French powers and le Jour de Notre Liberté, celebrating the end of authoritarianism rule in Saheil and the establishment of democracy.

Le Jour des Coquelicots, French for "the Day of the Poppies" is named after the Bataille des Coquelicots, wherein Saheilian forces defeated the French on March 5, 1943. The name of the battle and the day comes from the phrase le sang des soldats français fit le terrain ressembler aux coquelicots from the poem Les Annales Saëliennes.

The meaning of Jour de Notre Liberté is self-explained by the English translation: the Day of Our Liberty. It comes from the phrase c'est le jour de notre liberté et émancipation.

Yellekan Independence Day is celebrated on June 11. It commemorates the signing of the Elykyellek Declaration of Independence, declaring Elykyellek's independence from the United Kingdom and France, on June 11 1811.

The Ctelixīon League's Formation Day takes place on the 15th July every year. It is a relatively minor holiday, since most of the member nations within the league have their own national days.

In March 1762, Īuvat, Kalon, Vīzet and Īagāi formed a pact allowing for the creation of the League. These four nations had been traditionally warlike, but had put aside their differences in order to remain safe in an ever expanding world. On the 15th July, they banded together to form the First Ctelixīon League.

Independence Day is celebrated on the 27th of April, the day when Imperial Arioslavian troops finally withdrew from Caucarus after over 10 years of conflict in 1921.

Republic Day is celebrated three days later on the 30th of April, the day when PDR Caucarus was officially proclaimed and became a sovereign state, also in 1921.

During said nations collapse, with areas declaring independance left right and centre, the Prime Minister (formerly Premier), realised he'd done a Gorbachev abd destroyed the nation. He and the remaining regional governors drew up plans, drew the border of Europe and Russia, and the UNSS was dissolved. The Commonwealth of Great Britain, Ireland and Iceland formally declared independance/dissolution on 3rd June 2076.
In 2079, the Commonwealth was renamed the United Kingdom.

Our actual "Independence Day" was on March 15, 2156, when the PLF mobilized the masses against Earth's colonialists in the Second Rebellion, resulting in the start of the Great Liberation Wars. The second holiday, "Gansha Day", celebrates the day at the end of the Great Liberation Wars on April 9, 2163, when Earth's forces were forced to retreat back home and Gansha's solar system became truly independent.

A Golden Month (a holiday in Lambdasia) was held between April 19 to May 19 annually.At the Golden Month,citizen of Lambdasia wears baju melayu or baju kurung.Citizens of Lambdasia also place the Lambdasia flag at their homes and buildings during the Golden Month.The Golden Month also is the start of the school year of Lambdasia(May 1).

The DGES is a fairly-ancient Empire. We started out as completely nothing; a land full of chaos and primitiveness. However, that land was completely altered when the Great Uniter and Beast began to appear. He devastated the inhabitants of the land into submission, and by the time of 199 B.C, the DGES finally came into existence. The following image provides an accurate depiction of what the land was like before the DGES was formed.



We never actually had an actual day when we were declared independent. And because of that, the DGES doesn't even celebrate Independence Day.
