History
Northern Airways started out with just one leased Airbus A320 in 2000 and one route from the recently finished Dreamliner International Airport to Periapsis International Airport, running four flights every week and shuttle service with six secondhand 737-200 aircraft, to the various cities within the country, establishing the airline as a firm company. (Today, Northern owns the leased A320, saved from the aircraft boneyard, due for scrapping, and it is put outside the headquarters as a symbol of the roots of the carrier, repainted in the original livery. The 737-200 aircraft, retired from passenger service, are in aviation museums and one is outside the Northern Airways Maintenance Hangars.) Since then we have expanded both our services and our fleet and flying new routes into new airports all over the world. We took on the bulk of our fleet from Perapsis International Charter after it went bust and have acquired more since then. We plan to expand further with new routes into more destinations. Our hub is Dreamliner International airport in St. Joseph, with our secondary hub being Paradise Gate International Airport serving the capital of Lexian. Recently, we decided to branch out our routes and seek new destinations. We have begun code share agreements with several airlines, companies, and airports as well. We have established several subsidiaries to help Northern Airways branch out into the various portions of the aviation and tourism markets. We are proud to be a member of Star Alliance and the flag carrier for The Democratic States of The Dreamliners as well as the nation's largest carrier. Northern Airways is government owned and perhaps operates one of the largest fleet of aircraft in the world all owned by the airline, rivaling some of the largest airlines in the skies today.
