Atmosphere: Unknown, no surveys conducted since the Fikri Rebellion, but a large amount of dust hangs in the atmosphere

Geography and Climate: dust storms scour the ground to bedrock, geography is totally obscured from orbit, but is assumed to be rocky mountains, abandoned towns, dry oceans, and craters
Culture and History: Once a verdant world, Fikri was settled down and established as a loyal colony of the Rheim Empire. However, an accident occurred, and all communication and transportation to and from the planet was lost. By the time a rescue ship arrived 25 years later, the residents of Fikri were used to running their own planet, and refused to rejoin the empire. The ensuing war was bloody for all parties, and after 5 years of bloodshed, the Rheim Empire decided to make an example of Fikri, and bombed the planet from orbit. by the time that they were finished, it was assumed that no residents survived, and the planet was quarantined due to unexploded ordinance. This policy was carried over the Cyanian Empire once it was established. Today, only scavengers pass through, looking for scraps on a world already picked clean.

Physical appearance: (The above is close enough, with the added features here) He is exceptionally tall, even for a Korvash, he stands at close to 8' tall. Like most of his kind, he is heavily muscled and furred. His fur is a light brown color, with the fur down his back being greyish black in appearance.
Identifying Marks: He has a stripe of discolored fur down his back and a scar crossing his left eye.

Bio: He was born on the Patriarchs Hope, The Flagship of the Korvash Fleet, millenia after the Fall. While he is not exceptional in ways that some Korvash are, he was still skilled enough. It was this that caught the attention of the Patriarch, Rahdon Var'rus. It was this that began his journey as a Korvash Strike Soldier. The Korvash as a whole had become mercenaries since the Fall. They lacked the people to go full force against most of their targets, so they sent in small specialized strike teams. It was one of these teams that Dib'hur became a part of.


He started being trained when he was younger, 18 in human years, an age they would consider an adult, but to the long lived Korvsash, anyone younger than a century was still a child. In fact, that age was when the Korvash only really started to grow. While the growth of most Korvash is gradual, for Dib'hur it was different. His growth was fast, much quicker than most others of his kind. For a time this only lent itself handily to his work, but that advantage was lesser in relation to what it took away. The Korvash on the strike Teams were usually larger than average, but only slightly so.

Dib'hur on the other hand was much larger than most fully grown Korvash. The problem it poed finally came to a head during a strike against well known pirates.

He left after a time, and has been working freelance making a name for himself, alone. He has recently headed to Thrawn B7 as he had heard of some other mercs getting lucrative jobs from there on occasion.

Nation name: Cyanian Empire
Homeworld: Thousands, capital planet is Mars in the Sol system. The Empire was named in honor of the Cyana Accords which both ended the Human/Cyanian-Rheim Wars and led to the foundation of the Empire. Mars was chosen as the capital because the planet Cyana itself was destroyed in the Fourth Battle of Cyana, where a combined Human and Cyanian fleet (along with hundreds of other species' ships) hammered the Rheiman Empire's entire first, fifth, and sixth fleets (some thirty thousand plus ships) into submission against the anvil of Cyana which unfortunately led to the planet's destruction, but dealt a massive strategic and moral blow to the Rheimans. Earth was not chosen because by this time Earth was largely a historical and nature preserve.
Government system: Federal executive monarchy - not every substate within the Empire is a monarchy per se, however all of them swear oath to the Emperor, who is currently Maximilian XVI of the House of Lohengramm.
Main ideology: The Empire maintains a strong (but not excessive) culture of nationalist ideology among its citizens as a means of unifying itself morally and encouraging involvement in the military and politics. However, ethnic, sexual, and species chauvinism is rarely if ever tolerated - No species actually has a majority in the Empire, though humans make up a sizable chunk of the population - a whopping six point five percent. The Empire also cultivates and enjoys a sense of pride in the natural beauty of its planets - environmental protection is important to the Empire, which it can easily get away with because there's nothing environmentally wrong about strip mining an asteroid. Enemies of the Empire are viewed with hatred, both via hard evidence and propaganda - the balance between both depends on the sector, and it tends towards propaganda in most of the more opulent systems with the exception of Sol and Cyana themselves. Service to the Empire is seen as an honorable choice in career for men, women, and those from species with multiple sexes and/or genders, however conscription is not enforced at the national level and sectors are free to make service compulsory or not. There is no state religion in the Empire, and citizens are free to worship who or what they please. Sexualities and sexual identities are a complete non-issue to the Imperial government, though some of the more backwards worlds may have something to say about that.
Level of freedom: On paper, there is no stratification of the classes in the Empire and people are free to move up the social ladder as they please. In reality, it's more complex - Nobles tend to stay nobles and, especially further out, have quite a bit of power to lord over their subjects, though if they get too high and mighty the military may be called in to remove them from power. Corruption is common in the outer reaches, and the inner ones - it just manifests itself differently, much to His Majesty's chagrin. Conscientious objection is normally tolerated, but there are worlds where it isn't.
Military description: The might of the Cyanian Empire is the greatest in the galaxy. Their ships may not be the biggest (Cipaqoaltan ships are better), they may not have the best sensors (Tarkellian ships have powerful sensor systems, largely out of necessity as their section of the galaxy is laden with nebulae), but they have the best raw firepower, the strongest shields, the most loyal soldiers, and the fastest fighters. If there is a weakness, it is in command - Free all the way up it may be, but nobles have a tendency to dominate the upper ranks of the military, and not all of them are competent.
Economy: In a word, gargantuan. Like most major powers in galactic history, the Cyanian Empire's economy is extremely diverse. A powerful agriculture sector fuels a surprisingly large service sector (for a state that is ultimately feudal in nature), and massive industries. However, the Cyanian Empire does not recklessly convert whole planets into factories or cityworlds unless the planet itself was/is barren of life to begin with - most heavy industry in the Cyanian Empire takes place on asteroid colonies chained to each other by tractor beams and actual chains, or on massive factory-ships hundreds of kilometers long.

Nation name: Black Fleet of Wendell, although that title has become the general title for all space pirates
Homeworld: None, although the capital(of sorts) is the stolen Cyanian Navy ship Might of Terra.

Government system: Ruled by a vicious junta, although people drift in and out of the fleet as it suits them, only really having an established hierarchy during a Great Raid

Main ideology: Profit seeking and malicious, the Black Fleet serves to provide an organized way to loot planets

Level of freedom: High, in the sense that laws aren't really applied and members have no obligation to each other, but low in the sense that most crews use slave labor or otherwise enforce common law breaking methods of ensuring discipline and profit for those lucky enough to retain a ship. In addition, robbery, backstabbing and utter lack of trust permeate society, leading to a total dystopia with no easy escape as the Fleet crosses the Great Void.

Military description: No true military, but a bunch of old ships cobbled together to make a shambolic fleet that is menacing in numbers. Ground troops consist of military deserters and crew who happened to be close to the doors when the ship hit the ground.

Economy: Barter based, highly stratified. Lowly transients in stowage give away labor in exchange for meager rations from the crew, who toil without hope of mobility until they die for captains, who have a small chance of becoming one of Wendell's favored lieutenants, who are all to scared to kill Wendell, fear retribution and upheaval in the pirate society. Occasionally, Wendell orders a Great Raid to resupply his fleets and accrue new wealth. To date, 54 such raids have taken place, each claiming several star systems before any of the nations are able to effectively respond. Once this wealth is accrued, it isn't seen again, but some suspect that Wendell keeps his wealth in a vault hidden away in the Void, prompting several overzealous adventurers to seek it out. No treasure hunters have ever returned.

History: In the wake of the war, with the Cyanian Empire oh-so-slightly unstable and trying to retain its grip, many armies were disbanded, and as with any war, a large population of homeless arose. A uppity Captain in the Cyanian Navy, Resus Wendell, saw his upcoming discharge and mutinied, escaping with the Battleship Might of Terra, and founded the Black Fleet, organizing and absorbing those who were left behind, the deserters, former soldiers, and the underbelly of society. Along the way, he became addicted to Ageslow, leaving him young as the day he mutinied, but in constant need of a resupply. He has risen to a somewhat godlike figure to space pirates, who fight in Wendell's name. Constant attacks and the sheer expanse of the Void prevent any nation from countering the Fleet effectively.
