ABOUT GOWINIA

The Interstellar Republic of Gowinia, commonly known as Gowinia, is a Republic situated on the continent of Tamriel, bordered by High Rock and Hammerfell to the west, and by Cyrodiil and Black Marsh to the south.

The President of Gowinia is elected every 4 years, the current one being Thomas Whittington. After its election, the Gowinians elect the Parliament, which consists of 400 members. The Parliament members vote the laws of the country, and on the order of the President, a law can be made into a referendum. That happens quite frequently.

Gowinia was founded in year 389 of the 4th Era (1692) as an Empire, by the mergence of Skyrim and Morrowind, two historically rival nations of the Empire of Tamriel. 134 years and 9 empererors later, the Gowinians overthrew the Emperor, abolished the Empire and created a Republic.

The Capital and largest city in Gowinia is Strunmahrath.
