Osean aircraft have entered the airspace to enforce international law. All DAF marked planes have been ordered to disengage, however, Morena has been tasked with shooting down King, a challenge to which the enemy Ace squadron gladly accepts. Osean aircraft will attempt to interrupt the battle and will use lethal force if necessary. Do NOT engage Osean aircraft. Only a single Ace can be shot down before the mission ends, however, that does not mean you cannot fight King. Relikai has already claimed the Ace.

We have landed back at Koga Airbase, Seian, after several long hours flying over the South Atlantic. There will be no immediate debriefing so pilots are allowed to rest or else do as they please. Next mission will take place within 2 weeks IC, so feel free to jump to any point within that timeframe if that allows for better interaction.

Bio:
Kühn was born in Uzkiv, a small residential town on the bank of a rather small lake. His father was a boatsmith and his mother is formerly a fisher. The small town was nearby a air base, and growing up Kühn loved to watch the Ratioan aircraft fly in and out of the base while sitting on the roof of his house. He has strong memories of going fishing with his dad and spending the night on the lake, watching stars, talking, fishing, and watching the aircraft. At the age of 14 Kühn's father was murdered by a former coworker, leaving the family devastated. Kühn now had a sick mother to take care of with only his younger sister. This seemed to derail Kühn's dreams of flying in the air force.

At age 20 his mother had nearly completely rebounded from her illness, leaving Kuhn unemployed. Kuhn, who was in college, quit university and joined the air force. He eventually made his way up to being a weapons system officer on board a Panavia Tornado. 5 months later Kühn was discharged for reasons unknown to him. Unlike his pilot and friend he didn't try to pursue a civilian career, instead hunting for something that would quench his love for flying. Kühn found Morena, and despite the war they were involved in, joined.

But her family, conforming to the conservative norms of this particular region of Yuktobania, tried to steer her away from such a path, believing it wasn't a suitable career choice for a woman. Choosing not to listen to them, Aynur headed off for the Yuktobanian air force academy anyway at the age of 18. As a result, her family essentially cut ties with her.

Aynur was only a rookie pilot when war broke out on the Verusan continent. She was immediately thrown into combat against Verusan and Valgan forces. She was lucky to survive her first engagement, coming face to face with an enemy ace squadron, suffering damage to her aircraft, but for some reason, the enemy who had fired the missile had allowed her to return to base to fight another day rather than finish off her fighter. She made it her goal to improve as a pilot, hoping that if she ran into that pilot again she would be able to shoot him down in revenge. She never got that opportunity. However, her commanders noticed rapid improvement in her skill. She still had a long ways to go to become on of the best pilots in the Yuktobanian air force, but she was able to become skilled in the art of dogfighting. By the time the Verusans and Valgans had been beaten back, Aynur had been credited with 2 kills. Afterwards, she participated in the conflict against Romny, where she was credited with an additional two kills.

After the war, Aynur stayed with the Yuktobanian air force for a few more years. Unfortunately, this had become much too routine. She had experienced the excitement of real aerial combat, these training exercises and occasional interceptions of Osean aircraft that had veered too far off course were boring by comparison. She thought about possibly retiring from the military and making a comfortable living as an airline pilot but somethign else had caught her eye instead: mercenary work. Over the past few months, opportunities for such work had exploded with Dorusian involvement in Seian. Seeing the chance to experience aerial combat yet again, Aynur took a contract with the Morena Squadron.
