Each County is outlined as red as a apparent on this map:
Definitions
A Territory:Shall be defined as: The area a country encompasses.
[b]A Dispute: will be defined as: Any dispute between 2 or more nations over any County or Territory that is outside of normal RP.
A Natural Border: will be defined as a mapped mountain, lake, river or an area with different climate than the one in which is being expanded from.
Rules
Limits:Any nation with undeclared puppets will be instantly banned. No arguments.
To claim your first land: You must post at least a 500 word introductory post about your a county, or otherwise elect to write a 3,000 word post in order to claim 5 counties all at once, in a narrative format, then draw them on the map for where you want to founded.
To Expand: Nations have two choices in weekly expansions:
The first is to write sequential posts, each time beginning at500 words. In total, this system will result in up to five expansion posts per week.
The second form of expansion permits the expanding nation to combine all five posts (all five possible weekly expansions) into a single narrative post, at a word count of 3,000. This permits expansions to be written in a single post, and allows a narrative to be explained throughout one post instead of divided into five.
The map request must have a link to your expansion(s) as well as additionally an image of the land you are claiming for the week.
You may only claim up to 5 counties per update. If you are taking advantage of the 3,000 word multi-expansion post, then you must claim five; otherwise the only possible expansions must be divided into individual county expansions. Once the map is updated, this system resets and you are able to claim territory again. The cartographer reserves the right to deny expansions based on quality of writing, lore, and other circumstances.
To Dispute: To dispute a land claim in canon, you must make a post, at which point you have to come to an agreement or go to war. If no agreement is made, the land will remain unclaimed, unless an Admin steps in and forces the dispute to be solved. An Admin decision can only be overturned by other Admins or me. If an Out of Character dispute is required, report it to an admin.
Claiming Lands from other Nations: Lands cannot be claimed from other nations unless:
A: The Nation has consented to you having this land.
B: You have made the applicable Roleplay Posts to claim it.
Any and all form of Land Bequeathment and noodling is banned.
Claiming Land in the past is banned.
Imperial Highway extensions are not allowed. Roads to the Imperial Highway are.

Adding a City
Cities can be added as needed.
Disconnected Territories
Disconnected territories that occur must make lore sense and not be blatant grabs for resources. Having more than one disconnected territories is not allowed. We ask that these disconnected territories remain small.
For island nations and archipelagos we ask that you keep your expansions looking natural and follow along the predefined lines that are on the map.
Resources
Each county has a resource. You can find the Arkonos Resources here. To have access to a resource, you need to import or produce at least one. Each county produces one resource.
County Development
Counties can be developed on the same basis as expansion
This is done by making a claim, but instead of colouring in a county, you draw a new border line through it
This counts toward your expansion limit
County development cannot be done in the following areas: Tundras, Polar, Alpine and Riverless desert
Each developed county comes with anew randomly rolled resource.
Adding a Landmark/Great Wonder
Upon reaching Lord Rank in the discord, you as a player are given the right to create a landmark and have it placed on the map. To do this you must do the following:
1.Create 600 word post on the discord chat Mapentry complete with an image. The template is pinned and is the same as the one to make a city.
2. A tick will appear on the post if it is accepted or not.
3. It will then be placed on a Factbook for the whole region.
