The General Assembly is the primary body of the UNNWA. Here is were all ambassadors vote on resolutions, pass sanctions, and can vote to expel members. Most actions need a simple majority to pass. Many of the rules are not yet set, and that is what this first meeting is about.
Notice: This is an in character thread, so please remember that is is your ambassador speaking on these issues. I felt like an IC thread would be ok for this as it would allow for more RP

[New Danican]

The New Danican ambassador was the first to enter the assembly hall. As he walked in he was filled with a sense of pride knowing that he was one of the first members of this newly founded organization. He went to the front of the hall and sat down, and waited for the rest of the assembly to join him.

[Calponia]

King Hayden has delegated Lord Spencer Tumark to join the UNNWA. He is a former general in the Calponia military. 31 years old and had worked as general for 2 1/2 years. He will be representing the King and his people of the Nation Calponia.

The Russian Empress is here with her papers, and 2 citizens, one of the nation Illinois Republic, another of the nation Russian Empire.

"We, madam Empress, are here today to establish the charter of the UN, so we can begin passing resolutions and dealing with international incidents" replies John Williams, we will begin in about 11 minutes while we still wait for anyone else who wishes to join us."

(steps up to platform) "As we are all gathered here today, in hope of peace, and unity between Thornian and the North American non-aggression pact. I and my country wish to keep this to a understandable level, with minimum tensions, and a progress forward as we seperated cannot achieve the goal, but together we no longer need dream, hopes, they are all infront of us, as it should be and continue inside and out of this hall." (Steps down from platfrom, returning to seat.)
