Surprisingly little that a new character would have heard about. Mainly an attack by the evil team while the professor was giving away pokemon in Altorre City,, they got chased off however I believe. Otherwise, it's been some more personal matters, catching pokemon, that kind of thing. My character is currently challenging the Selverde Gym through TG. You really shouldn't have any trouble joining, so long as you read the rules and skim over the IC thread.

Bio: Born in Oxton Town in the Anglion Region into a middle-class family, she was expected to become a doctor like her father. Although she had other ideas, she had a fondness for Pokémon and would rather become a professor. She aced biology, physics and chemistry among many other subjects which allowed her to become Anglion's first Pokémon Professor. At the age of 25 with the help of Professor Augustus Sycamore she created the Anglion Pokédex.

On another note, at the age of 14 she found an infant Gible which had been abandoned. Hazel took it in, raised and trained it, much to her parents' dismay. That Gible is now a Garchomp.
Personality: Professor Filbert is a kind and carefree individual, who very much cares about the Pokémon who live in her lab. She ensures that any research performed on a Pokémon is humane and does not cause harm or distress.

Bio: A former soccer prospect out of Festaía City, Lucas was on his way to success until watching his older brother get crippled in a match.
