About Royal Bancroft Bankcorp
Royal Bancroft Bankcorp, often shortened to "Bancroft" (abbreviated as "BB" too), is a banking, financial services, and investment corporation owned by the Bancroft Family and its extended branch families. Headquartered in Empire City, TECT, Bancroft is one of the largest banks in the Empire by total assets alone and is officially recognized by the Crown as a national bank in TECT (hence the "Royal" in its name). The Bancroft Family, one of TECT's most prestigious noble families, officially founded the Bancroft Bankcorp in 1919 just prior to the 1921-30 economic boom. However, the Bancroft Family originally entered the financial world in the early 1600's by creating a major investment enterprise consisting of them and their extended family; by making cautious and well thought out capital investments (such as investments into industrial trades, government and city development projects, and financing of colonial efforts and conquests), the Bancroft Family was able to garner enormous wealth over the centuries that few entities in the Empire could rival. In order to safely store away their amassed fortune, Koloman Ferdinand Bancroft, Duke at the time, decided making a bank would not only be a profitable venture (serving the lower masses and working with the Imperial Government would bring in more wealth) but it would also create a safe place for the Bancroft Fortune to be stored away; creating a bank would coalesce the family's financing ventures by grouping them under a single umbrella for which future investments and financing could be done - banking would just be another addition to the Bancroft's repertoire. Although one of the first banks in the Empire, Bancroft Bankcorp wasn't alone in the field. Competition from guilds, banking institutions which were founded before Bancroft Bankcorp (including merchant, commercial, and investment banks), and other financial/investment businesses was fierce; knowing their opponent, a wealthy Duchy, other businesses knew they were in for a fight in the marketplace. Even with their efforts, Bancroft Bankcorp rode a wave of success stemming from an economic boom throughout the 1920's - the Bancroft's vast wealth and experience in financing proved to be a valuable asset in the banking industry. By 1930, Bancroft Bankcorp had over a dozen branches serving customers in the capital and many more throughout Homeland State. Bancroft Bankcorp would continue opening branches in every corner of the Empire, expanding its services, and increasing its assets as the decades passed. The Bancroft Family's contribution to the Empire over the centuries, through its bank and investments, is treasured so highly that the Bancroft Family was rewarded with a new title (Archduke) and their bank (Bancroft Bankcorp) recognized officially by the Crown as a national bank.

Individuals may also need a personal loan for other expenses not already covered above. Personal Loans are split into four sub-types: Vehicle (cars, boats, aircraft, and renovations to these items fall under this category), Household (includes house purchases, rentals, property purchases, and renovations to such property), Electronics (such as computers, stereo systems, and other personal electronics), and Other (items/costs not associated with the earlier mentioned examples). For the Other sub-type, interest rates are set by Royal Bancroft Bankcorp as it sees fit depending the requested cash amount, the stated intended use of the loaned cash (if there is any), and the customer's credit/financial information/history - all of which could either lower or raise the loan's interest rate.

Student Loan

Since many collages/universities/trade schools have high tuition fees (book fees and learning materials are also hefty costs), a student loan helps to shoulder the financial burden laid onto students seeking upper education. Student Loans are split into five sub-types, all of which are associated to a student's intended career choice. They are Standard (students seeking a standard two or four year degree not associated with other mentioned sub-types), Advanced (students seeking an advanced degree worth four or more years or graduating from some other special course not associated with other mentioned sub-types - such as economics and science majors), Trade (students seeking a mentorship, trade school, or other apprenticeship in a career field), Medical (students seeking a medical degree of any kind from a medical school or other medical course), and Law (students seeking a law degree of any kind from a law school or law course).

Because of the special circumstances students find themselves in, Royal Bancroft Bankcorp doesn't begin the payment countdown (the month to which monthly payments begin) until said student finds a job that earns above a certain threshold; said threshold is calculated using the student's career choice/occupation, their income, and their loan's interest rate. In a situation where Royal Bancroft Bankcorp detects the student has committed fraud (fraudulently acquiring the loan, for example), fraudulently spending their loaned money (using the money for non-school matters), or is no longer enrolled in their educational facility, Royal Bancroft Bankcorp will immediately demand the return of the loan's stipulated quantity and possibly notify law enforcement authorities if the situation requires it. If the student will not or cannot present the entire quantity of the loan, Royal Bancroft Bankcorp will be forced to take legal action in order to repatriate the loaned money, acquire the promised interest, and pay for other financial damage induced by the student's contract violation.

Business Loan


Business Loans offered by Royal Bancroft Bankcorp are basic money lending agreements designed to loan money necessary for basic functionality, crucial expansion, and business projects; businesses may need the money to operate during hard times, or a loan could assist a business by providing funds for future expansion, and special business projects could require money the business simply doesn't have readily available. To ensure all our business customers have options, Royal Bancroft Bankcorp has split its business loans into three sub-types: Small Business (designed for small businesses with tighter budgets, regardless of their type or field), Standard Business (intended for small or moderate sized businesses, corporations included), and Corporate Business (made for businesses/corporations that are large and endowed). Small Business loans have a ceiling of $500,000 NSD while Standard Business loans have a ceiling of $50,000,000 NSD; Corporate Business loans don't have a ceiling but have a higher than standard set interest rate and face a progressive interest rate of 1% per $100,000,000 NSD requested after the first hundred million NSD requested (if a business asks for $500,000,000 NSD for example, their interest rate would be the standard 2.5% + 4% with each hundred million after $100,000,000 NSD being one more percent each).

Government Loan


Government Loans offered by Royal Bancroft Bankcorp are simple loans designed to lend money to national/local governments in need of large sums of cash. Governments could need loans to meet budget requirements, solidify their debt to one party holder, or fund special projects within its borders; in the past, governments have used loans to help fulfill budget promises (a loan pays for a program that year when the budget can't afford to), provide funding for wars, and pay for large construction projects like dams and airports. Loans taken responsibly can improve a government/nation's credit score, provide relief in the form of steady payments rather than large sums, and stimulate economic activity within the right circumstances. Royal Bancroft Bankcorp's Government Loan does not have any sub-types but instead has a standard high interest rate and a progressive interest rate that increase depending on the requested amount and time frame; the interest rate increases 1% per $10,000,000,000 NSD requested and another 1% per decade after the first. Anything under $10,000,000,000 NSD will only be charged the base interest amount. For example, if a government asks for $50,000,000,000 NSD to be paid back in 20 years, their interest rate would be 25% because 20 base rate + 4 additional $10,000,000,000 charges + 1 additional decade of time = 25. Other contributing interest rate factors will not apply concerning this loan.
