Today is the day we have all been waiting for. You now have an opportunity to build a better, fairer and more prosperous Fortaleza that is open to the world through the simple act of voting. While many may think of the election as a finishing line for our campaign, which has engaged millions of Fortalezans and represents the silent majority who want efficient, just government, I think of it instead as the starting line. The real competition, to make Fortaleza into the global city we know it can be, is yet to begin. And it can only begin if you vote today for the Haverkamp ticket.
Join millions of Fortalezans in sending a resounding message to the political establishment: we are a city of builders and makers who don't want life handed to us on a gilded plate with a diverse, tolerant identity, which will never fall to our common enemy of authoritarian far-right politics.
To our elderly and disabled supporters who may have trouble getting the polls, or to the relatives and friends of politically-engaged senior citizens, we've got you covered. I strongly believe that anyone, no matter what obstacles may exist, should have the right to exercise their right and civic duty to vote.
