Tensions have reached a breaking point recently, as the nation of Sunrisland, formerly under the confederation of Techoligia, has declared independence.

Meanwhile, political stress between the newly formed parliament and ancient traditional monarchy in Finswedeway slowly become more prevelant. And, breaks in the unopposed Happyland leadership face a yet unseen threat.

As the onlook of sunrislands first ever war the nation is relying on its new military advancements to defend the islands it calls home.

Sunrisland IS an autonomous state within the Techoligian Confederacy as of several treaties ratified both by us and Sunrisland.

Reasons why they seceded aside, the Armee von Teckolor, the Techolori state's Military, is mobilizing under supervision of the Techolgian General Staff. This mobilization will call upon the almost 1 million soldiers in that Army to reclaim the so-called independent state.

"After much deliberation, the Imperial Republic declares itself neutral to the civil war. However, the Imperial Parliament has agreed to a trade deal with both nations involving cheese and lumber for both countries."

Millions gather at the Royal Fins Palace, to hear The empress' first public speech after two years of isolation. Her extravagant, black and white dress complimenting her pale skin and black hair, she apprehensively approaches the podium and takes off her veil. One would think she was in mourning, had they not known otherwise. The crowd applauds and cheers, having been anxious to see their leader. Shielding her eyes from the sun, she begins.

"It has been a long time," she begins, "our dear friends in Techoligia, who helped liberate our country, free us from the iron chains of the swarm." She pauses, as she is mostly improvising. "It was horrible," she goes on, "but our allies overseas were there for us. Now, it seems, we must be there for them." The crowd outside the palace grows restless, for the anticipation of hearing Zhingu's stance. There are many Techoligian immigrants in Finswedeway, and events happening there greatly affect them. "My predecessors always had trouble... understanding when to stay out of something." The crowd goes silent, a long pause holds their attention. "Now," she continues, "is not one of those times... If Sunrisland wants freedom, they can't do it alone."

Some among the crowd boo and hiss, but they are mostly drowned out by cheers. "The revolutionaries," she concludes over the roar of the crowd, "have my full support." She waves, pulls her veil back over her face and turns around to return to the palace. As one of her bodyguards opens the door for her, she drops her handkerchief. She bends over to get it, just after a loud bang and a bullet whizzing by her head. Zhingu grabs the handkerchief and rushes into the safety of the palace. The crowd flees and chaos ensues. Someone has just tried to take the Empress' life.

As we hear the news that finswedeway is supporting us in obtaining independence, people across the small nation are full of joy but still fear the upcoming war. A representative of the sunrislandian government quotes "our time with techoligia has come, we want freedom from oppression whether we have to fight for it or not" further stating that the conflict between sunrisland and techoligia can still be resolved with little to no violence.

Hans Wurttemburg stands at the podium that has seen little use since the Swarm Wars. He adjusts his Trillby hat and looks up at the massive crowd outside of the Techoligian Council Building.

"Teckolanders young and old, we now face a threat not quite expected." The crowd is silent. "The Council and the Volkslandearmee's General Staff had hoped to keep this as an internal war. But I see now that the Capitalists in Finswedeway had been waiting to strike at our Syndicalist Paradise." He sneers, looking to his right, seeing three flags. Techoligia, Evil Dictators Happyland, Finswedeway. An attest to the Defensive Pact, the Reed Doctrine. Wurtemmburg smiles as he douses the Finswedegian flag in Gasoline. "We had prepared for this. It is time to resurrect the Ideals of Trotsky and begin the World Revolution." He reveals a lighter, setting it under the flag. A single spark turns into a flame as he tears the flag off it's post, watching it burn. "Be prepared for the worst, Comrades."

As he walks away the crowd cheers loudly.

A hooded woman, under cover of darkness, stabs a knife with a note attached into the door of Hans' bedroom. The note reads:
"To Hans,
Burn our flag, for those flames will be the ones which bring this country down.

New Fanian President James McArthur addressed the nation:

"Ladies, and Gentlemen" He cleared his throat, "We have been utterly embarrassed by Techoligia before. But now...... the tables have turned." "We will avenge ourselves, and finally weaken the Techoligian regime!" "With the help of our allies in Finswedeway, we shall overcome the Techoligian devil" "Listen Mr. Wurttemburg, we can resolve this peacefully, you give independence to them, and open up your markets...... if you don't, we'll have to use force. Your choice!"

After this, the Minister of Foreign Relations spoke to the Fins' Ambassador. He requests an alliance against Techoligia, an alliance which allows free markets, and capitalism to thrive.

After this, 85% of the New Fanian International Aid budget (686.375B) is diverting to the rebels.

This will be a fight against capitalism and all who benefit from the exploitation of their fellow comrades. Even though the ideologies of UNpoopburg and Techoligia may not be the same, let this be a reminder to all oppressors, united we stand strong, in the face of the same enemy, greed and all of its representatives.

Commander-in-chief of the New Fanian Interstellar Exploration Unit has ordered a mobilization of the New Fanian 1st Fleet, the 'Armada' . It is hovering over the Techoligian Void Fleet waiting for orders to shoot.

Do we have the green light for a partial mobilaziation of the 9th UNpoopergian air fleet?
UNSOIC agents are already being deployed in mainland Sunrisland. Awaiting further orders.
We need further authorization for mobilization of the UNpoopbergian 23rd Special Forces Unit.

In response to recent hostilities, Prime Minister Jonathan Benia addressed Parliament and the War Office in a Top Secret meeting as such:

"Our glorious republic is in no position to intevene in the rising conflict, seeing as our military forces were disbanded after almost going to war with Techologia. It will take some time to rebuild our forces. Conscription won't be needed in the foreseeable future but we will be diverting funds to your ministry for recruiting, Tabitha. That being said, our economy is among the most powerful in the 10KI region, and our industrial output is considered a powerhouse.

This brings us to our course of action: we will not intervene... yet. But, as we believe in the ideology of highly regulated capitalism over syndicalism, and believe it is more beneficial for our security,we will offer support to the secessionist country through diverting billions of dollar's worth of supplies in secret shipments to them, using a convoluted route through New Fania, whom are supporting the rebellion. Utmost secrecy is required, lest our participation is discovered. When the time is right... Techologia may well burn in nuclear fire."

"We must let the free-market expand!" said the Fanian minister of foreign affairs, excitedly "We can liberate the people of Techoligia from the evils of communism, but we can only do it together." The Fins ambassador to New Fania and decorated war veteran, Kjell Andersen, considered the proposal. He looked around the room, New Fanian flags hung on every wall.
"You're a very proud people," Kjell began, "I'm sure you understand the meaning of nationalism. This is something very valued in my homeland."
"Get to the point, we haven't much time," interrupted the minister,
"As such," He continued, ignoring the minister, "respect is something you earn. We share a common enemy, but that doesn't make us allies by default. It is clear that our goals differ, so we will not agree to an alliance."
"Very well, but don't rely on us for help,"
"I was just about to say that. But, don't get confused, we aren't enemies. Now," Kjell said, standing up from his chair, "if you'll excuse me, I have other business to attend to."
"You may leave," said the minister, slightly frustrated.

As is tradition, trenches and fortifications are being constructed across the land. There are rumors that if the situation becomes bad enough, the Techoligian Government will activate a Dead Hand maneuver and launch its nuclear and fusion stockpile.

In the meantime, the Techolgian Void Fleet has begun firing upon the Finswedegian Capital and Palace.

Government officials have deliberated on starting a navy of lightly armored screening vessel while panicked civilians and army memebers start building prototype trenches and home made bunkers and preparing a counter attack.

The Pax Athenian government, through secret telegrams, have sent the genetic schematics of genetically enhanced clone soldiers to the coalition of nations assisting the Sunrisland war of independence, which is sure to assist the ground fight against Syndicalism, an evil ideology that must be permanently purged. We are also raising tens of legions of these clone soldiers to try to join the fight as quickly as possible. A 1st Expeditionary Force consisting of 2 large Battlegroups are being constructed in orbit, with plans for over 500 warships. Meanwhile, several Legions based of the ordinary citizenry have been erected as an interim force, with training progressing rapidly using veterans from old wars to train them. Nationalistic and militaristic zeal are building up among the citizenry, and cries of "Devote yourself to the country" are not uncommon. If there is a tiny minority of syndicalist dissenters within the nations, then the majority will suppress them, preventing this spread of a morally corrupt ideology.

In a message to the Independence Coalition, Prime Minister Jon Benia has told them that militarisation is progressing rapidly and Pax Athenian intervention is imminent.

The Techoligian Death Korps have crossed the Strait Seperating sunrisland from the rest of Techoligia. A beachhead has been established and the Elite soldiers begin their march on Foretrukk City
