The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

I just got this tablet yesterday and I am so excited at all the possibilities. I don't intend to be attention-whoring, I just want to show some of the cool stuff I can do now.

I've been drawing since Kindergarten. When artists say "Practice makes Perfect" , they are saying that for a reason. Besides, I don't think I'm that good. I have not drawn a whole lot over the last six or seven months, so I'm honestly surprised I even achieved that.

I do appreciate the compliment though.

And I've been drawing since 6th grade. I'm now of the belief that being able to draw well is a genetic skill that I don't possess.

Either you can give up or keep drawing. Believe it or not, I've only made progress towards something like over the past three years. Prior to that, and even now, it was stick figures. Well, they had knee-pads, backpacks and detailed guns, but the point still stands.

Romic wrote:I can't draw to save my life lol the drawings are nice however

Thank you. I can't hit a baseball or shoot a hoop worth shit, but I can slice and dice with a kitchen knife and draw cool things. Some futbol foot-work too, but that's pushing it.

Even if you're capable of drawing, it still takes practice to develop the skill. I started when I was in 3rd grade, but I sucked pretty bad for the first several years.

Yeah. I had a summer job as a receptionist, so I had a lot of time just sitting there with nothing to do if nobody came in, and I would use the time to draw.

For some odd reason, yes. My parents were never the type to give me games and shit when I was little. So I became fascinated by a lot of things to ease childhood boredom, maps being one of those things. I'd study maps at a very young age then draw them.

To this day, I can draw lots of fictional cities, you name it really. It's kinda weird, but we all have our quirks.

I just drew in class because fuck homework amirite

Which is weird because I more or less maintained A's and B's while saying "FUCK studying and taking notes I WANT TO DRAW A COOL FIGHTER JET PLANE." I also slept. Just bring in my markers and colour pencils and then sleep because I stayed up until three in the morning like right now.
