Born into the city life of Nataluz, Halden craved adventure. During his childhood days in the Battle Academy, when he was still a wee boy, he always dreamed of setting out on his own. The stories that he hears from his parents, who were once formidable trainers themselves, even made him strive to push through and be a trainer someday.Yet even at his age, he wasn't still a full pledge trainer. Yes he was one of the top achievers but all of those grades are from booktext knowledge and not from true battling experience. And thus, with the blessing of his parents, Halden journeyed out into the world and towards the Professor's lab in hopes of getting a Pokemon himself.
Personality:
Halden is a very cheery and perky guy who is quite a sportsman. He doesn't mind losing. After all, losing builds experiences and for him loses are not the end of the world. He's quite proud of his parents but he himself admits that his parents' achievements are their own and thus different from his. He's very competent though and during exams when they're allowed to borrow Pokemon for battle tests, he's been described as "very excited to the point of battle/bloodlust."

Been a while since I did an NS RP, looks like it will be fun. Here's my app.

Andy Klipsen

Gender: Male
Age: 12
Bio: Andy was always kind of a nervous kid, looking both ways multiple times when crossing the street, checking around whenever he didn't know where everybody was, stuff like that. Part of what made him nervous as a kid was not really knowing what he wanted to do with his life. Pokemon didn't really interest him that much, his parents owned a company that was going strong so he wouldn't be scrambling around for work, and he didn't really have hobbies. That all changed when he was on vacation with his family in Johto. It was a nice spring day, when his hat was stolen right off his head. After searching in the woods, he found an Aipom using it like a boxing glove against a tree. Putting two and two together, from what he'd seen on TV, he asked Aipom if he wanted to battle other Pokemon. Aipom nodded, gave Andy his hat back, and the rest is history.

Now that he thinks he's ready, he's setting out from his home, in Novela Town.
Personality: A bit of a pushover and a scaredy-cat, but ultimately optimistic. Mostly just goes along with what Aipom wants to do, but tries to keep things more or less sensible.
