Montana OIl, a subsidiary of Montana Incorporated, has announced plans to invest Seven Billion($7B) Universal Standard Dollars into a massive plan to begin drilling and mining into the infamous Blood Sea outside off the coast of The Timocratic Republic. In total this multi-billion dollar enterprise will cover the construction of four new oil rigs and two deep sea mining operations for their first year of operations. All six operations have been designed to withstand the harsh conditions and weather patterns known of the Bloos Sea.

In addition, nearly 500 Million USD has been put into a “Contracting Fund” towards the payments and negotiations of contracts with various “Hunter vessels” that specialize in hunting the infamous “Kraken” and “Levithan” creatures of the local area. Although Montana Inc already has business deals with many Hunter Fleets, this fund will act as a retainer, keeping Hunter Fleets close by to the contracted work and on call in case of creature sighting.

In Addition Montana Inc will be hiring mostly local labor, given their familiarity with the local currents and weather, and is expected to create 900 new jobs in the local area. After the first year of operations, Montana Inc has financial Plans up to create a 10 year plan for the area, including expansion of Oil and Mining operations, as well as growth in the Timocratic Republic with other Montana Inc Subsidiaries.

New Legate assigned in command of Kavashi front

After the situation in Kavash has lead to the deaths of 150,000 Potthani troops, an operation conducted by special forces was commenced to break out Legate Najnaan Bukra out of maximum security prison in Bashnaanistan, where he was sentenced for war crimes in the previous Potthani Civil War. The war-hardened Legate had led 344 battles under his command under two Emperors, 320 of which were successful. After his escape, he was hastily briefed and equipped for the situation in Kavash at Fort Junai in Agadesh.

"It's good to be back in command. Being in that prison has tough, but it gave me time to contemplate life and such. A true warrior cannot live a meaningless life." said Bukra in an interview with INN. The Legate promised to have the insurgency in Kavash end quickly and abruptly, with minimum casualties on both sides. Both using counter-insurgency techniques and deploying troops to attack strategic positions.

"I am appalled at the incompetence of soldiers and the stupid decisions made by those before me. We are in Kavash to unify it to the Empire, not to divide and persecute." states Bukra.

In response to the Montana Oil announcement that the Montana Oil Company intends to invest seven-billion Universal Standard Dollars ($7,000,000,000) to expand oil drilling operations in the Blood Sea region of the Timocratic Republic, the Board of Directors has unanimously decided to invest ten-billion Universal Standard Dollars ($10,000,000,000) to expand CasGlobal's offshore drilling in the Blood Sea region, with the construction of five offshore deep-sea drilling platforms.

The Board of Directors intends to negotiate with the Timocratic government to discuss the lease of land on the shore of the Blood Sea to establish the building of a new oil refinery, which in combination of the offshore platforms, could bring upwards to two-thousand new jobs to the Timocratic Republic. In addition to this, all Timocratic employees of CasGlobal will be eligible for the Matthias Sullivan United College Fund, a scholarship for the dependents of employees for higher education tuition.

CasGlobal has partnered with General Security Solutions, a private security firm based in the Castillian Social Union, to provide security against the indigenous sealife and other potential risks that lie in the Blood Sea. CasGlobal has also partnered with Brummett Industries, primarily a canning company that oversees fishing and whaling operations, to assist General Security Solutions in safely monitoring, and in drastic cases, eliminating any threats from the sealife that may pose risks to drilling operations.

The Blood Sea Operation is part of a new initiative to expand drilling operations across Greater Dienstad, in combination with new operations in Malgrave, San Castello, and Gente Del Agua.

Massive Investments Flooding into the Blood Sea

The recent announcement from the Federal Government of the Timocratic Republic has made quite a stirred up the national and international business world. Recently the Savannah Times published an article detailing how an exploratory mission sponsored by the Federal Government discovered vast oil reserves and other deposits of extremely valuable natural resources beneath the turbulent waters of the Blood Sea. The oil reserves are estimated to be in the range
350,000 million barrel and the deposits of rare earth minerals could easily yield thousand of tons of valuable ore.

The only issue in getting to this massive treasure trove of raw material is there location, the infamous Blood Sea. The Blood Sea has long be infamous for its treacherous waters that have claimed hundreds of ships and thousand of lives over the years. The sea generates incredible storms due to the fact that a major warm water current and major cold water current collide within the sea and a warm jet stream passes right over the sea as well, making for a combination of meteorological factors that produces incredible storms that produce huge freak waves that range from 50 to 90 feet tall guaranteed to batter any but the most sturdy vessel to pieces. The collision of two major currents spawns many other one that make navigation and traveling in the sea difficult. The shallower areas of the Blood Sea is dotted with reefs and hidden shoals that will tear the bottom out of any unwary ship. But worse dangers lie not in the conditions of the sea but the creatures that call it home.
Many exotic and unique creatures call the waters of the Blood Sea home but only two of them pose real danger to modern ships. One of them is the fearsome kraken. The Blood Sea is nesting grounds for the kraken which is a species of giant octopus. A full grown adult kraken is at the minimum a length of 100 feet from head to tip of tentacles, but there have been documented cases of them of them growing as large as 200 feet long. The tentacles on an adult kraken make up three quaters of the beasts overall length and be upwards of 10 feet wide with suckers 2 feet in diameter. These tentacles are strong enough to pull down ships or break them in half. These creatures are very territorial and have been know to attack vessels without provocation. The kraken is not the worst creature that dwells in the cursed waters of the Blood Sea.
The worst and most feared above all are the leviathans. These creatures resemble a sperm wail but with 6 over sized fin evenly spaced down the length of the monster. These fins are very strong and flexible, capable of bending in on themselves to grasp things. The head of the creature is heavily armored in bone protrusion that are very resistant to things such as harpoons. Similar such protrusion can be found along the leviathan body in certain places. The jaws of these sea monsters are massive and lined with sharp teeth and are capable of damaging vessels if it can get them around one and the beasts tail is similarly massive and over muscled and defiantly capable of damaging or even crushing ships. A fully mature adult leviathan is 300 feet long but documents cases have proven they can grow even larger reaching lengths up to 500 feet long. These monstrosity of nature prey on the kraken in the Blood Sea but are again very territorial and have attacked shipping unprovoked and damaged or sunk them. A recent incident involving a Wolf class heavy cruiser of the Timocratic Republic Navy and heavily damaged the ship and the leviathan still managed to escape.
However, there is a thriving business built around these creatures. Several companies specialize in hunting these dangerous creatures. The Federal Government pays massive bounties for killing these creatures, and flesh is consider a delicacy in come circles while other companies pay for there ships to be escorted. Pharmaceutical corporations pay top dollar for certain secretions and organs from which many different drugs can only be derived from such sources. Groups of ships manned by Sea Hunters sail out of Savannah to hunt these beast. Given all of these conditions, it is unsurprising that local corporations have not expressed much interest in this discovery but there are other that have expressed great interest in this new opportunity .

Two foreign corporations have shown great interest in the Blood Sea. Montana, Incorporated of the People's Unified Federation of Mokastana and Castillian Global Petroleum Corporation of The Social Union of Castille de Italia. Montana, Inc plans to invest 7 billion in Universal Standard Dollars in the Blood Sea and plans to build four rigs to drill
and two separate deep sea mining operations. While Castillian Global Petroleum Corporation has made plans to invest a total of 10 billion Universal Standard Dollars in the Blood Sea and build a total of 5 oil rigs.
Montana, Inc has already successfully concluded negotiation with the Federal Government and acquired the rights to drill and mine in a prime location with in the Blood Sea.Montana, Inc has already contracted Sealgair, Inc, which is the top hunter company in the Republic, to provide protection for its assets with in the sea. The Sea Hunters are allowed to keep what they kill excluding the pieces Montana Inc keeps for pharmaceutical purposes. Sealgair, Inc currently has a fleet of 51 hunters ships. Among then is the Mary Anne, captained by Morgan Wayne, one of the more famous Sea Hunter who commented "I am very excited for this. The riches of the sea need to be exploited and used for the betterment of man. Plus all the work will attract more creatures and that means more money for me and my crew." Sealgair plans to use this influx of money to build new ships for its hunter fleet Montana, Inc has also contracted O'Malley Heavy Industries, Inc, the company that built most of the Timocratic Republic Navy, to design and build the oil rigs and mining vessel for use in the Blood Sea.
CasGlobal, however, has hit a stumbling block. It has yet to even conclude negotiation with the Federal Government and is now lagging behind Montana, Inc. It seems the hold up involves the favorable conditions Montana, Inc managed to secure but the Federal Government is refusing to give CasGlobal such conditions, what they are has yet to be released to the public. If this holds true in the future has yet to be seen.

The Republic of Vectors takes keen interest in the affairs of its many fellow region-mates. Much more attention to those matters close to home. The discovery of significant amounts of resources by the Timocratic Republic, and the subsequent interest by two foreign entities certainly caught the attention of Fredrique Russel (Minister of the Economy). Always vying for an edge, the Republic sent its best analysts to the workbench to determine whether or not it would be financially feasible to commence and sustain a development of the region. After about a week, the Minister was informed that it would be beneficial to the Republic to undertake such a venture.

Vectors in beginning stages of new Economic Prosperity

It is reported that President Justus has signed ‘Economic Order 462 – Blood Sea Project’. This Order is reported to seek cooperation with the Timocratic Republic to develop the Blood Sea region, or short of any cooperative efforts, mine the international waters beyond the economic exclusive zone. Of course such a venture involves many hazards, such as weather, pirates, and mighty beasts of the deep. Though with the announcement of signing, the President assured the country that it was in a strong position to develop the area. Talk with Timocratic Republic Officials have yet to begin.

Senate Moves to Monopolize the Sea!!!

In another stunning and land mark move the Senate of the Timocratic Republic passed a bill today that was then swiftly signed into law by the President General. Recently it was announced by the Savannah Times that the Federal Government that a truly massive amount of natural resources was discovered at the bottom of the Blood Sea and in response to this business and country from all over Greater Deinstad has show great interest in the previously almost untouched stretch of water. Only interest shown it in were from the semi insane Sea Hunters that plied its water hunting the monster that lived there but now things have changed.
The new law, named the Blood Sea Act, expands the territorial waters of the Republic by 20 nautical miles. Sources also claim there are hidden articles that allow for further expansion by the President General if necessary but it is unconfirmed. What this law does is bring the entirety of the Blood Sea within the territorial waters of the Republic, which the Republic long considered its own due the fact that only its people were brave enough to sail those waters. The Federal Government also claims dominion and sovereignty over the resources there in and is more than willing to back up its claims. Units of 4th Fleet, the main battle arm of the Navy, have begun moving toward the Blood Sea to enforce the Republic's claim on those waters. How this plays out in the international community has yet to be seen, but hostile and negative reaction are expected soon.

Major Clash With Militia As Tuktar Goes To The Polls!

TUKTAR - As the citizens prepare to cast their vote and decide their city's future, Morridane soldiers are engaged in a major clash with militia intruders.

The incursion, the largest to date, is believed to have been made by the Zvezda-aligned 'Sons of Marx'. This group is reportedly a Far Left extremist faction responsible for a campaign of terror on Kashubian soil as well as the Commonwealth's Occupation Zone. The Sons of Marx's attack was directed against the Zvezdan border crossing and checkpoint, seemingly with the view of isolating it and cutting off the garrison platoon from reinforcements. Though due to the Morridane Army's practice of 'standing to' at dusk and dawn, sentries spotted the Sons moving to outflank the outpost and a firefight broke out before the militia troops could get into position. 47^th Battalion, Royal Morridane Regiment (47 RMR), and 5^th Battalion, Royal Genchi Rifles (5 GENCHI), were both in a position to send a company of soldiers each to immediately reinforce the border crossing. Fighting continued during the night and after dawn ground attack aircraft tipped the battle decisively in the Morridanes' favour, though skirmishes still continue as Morridane soldiers mop up isolated pockets of militiamen.

The incursion comes after a series of attacks by the Kashubian 'Holy Warriors of Christ' Militia on outposts along the Kashubian border, though these have usually been beaten back when the militiamen run low on munitions unlike the Morridanes who can expect a speedy resupply. The Kashubian border crossing has only briefly been closed, though that was only due to an attack on a nearby border outpost. The Zvezdan border crossing is likely to be closed for another day or so after the fighting ends, even when it does open there is likely to be travel restrictions placed upon it. Both the Morridanes and the Tuktar Provisional Government have stated that the attack will not stop the referendum from taking place and won't effect plans to open up additional border crossings.

No one seems to know why or where, but when a CBF is called out, such as this 28th Carrier Battle Fleet, or CBF for short, then it means something, somewhere in the world is going on. With one hundred ships in a CBF, it is the pristine show of power of the Republic of Vectors, and is un-match-able by nearly every nation known it terms of both tonnage and firepower. After the war in Red Star Union, as normal, the People's Unified Navy received the bulk of the Federal Funds to rebuild and resupply their massive forces. However, the People's Unified Air Force has proven time and time again their military and offensive capabilities. Despite their serious, if limited, military records, Most have often viewed the Air Force as simply the Aerial portion of the Reserve Guard, focusing on Coastal Defenses and occasionally supplying the Navy and Army units doing the real work.

However, after the recent Defense Budget Extensions, the Senate and Parliament have authorized a massive updating of the airforce. Including the infamous F/A-60 family of aircraft from Halcyon Arms and the ZM-7L ‘Dreadnought’ of VMK Defense and Steel Works.

Although these two aircraft make up the bulk of the orders, many additional craft, including modern Drones, Long Range Detection Air Craft, Command and Control Aircraft, as well as new Patrol Airships are included in the upgrades. To offset some of these costs, the Federal Military will be selling off portions of its air craft reserve, mostly Su-47 Berkuts and Tupolev Tu-95s.

Newer, Faster, More Deadly

Recently times have been changing Port of Savannah. With the discovery of massive deposits of natural resources found in the Blood Sea, money has been flooding into the both it and the Port of Savannah. Old ways and tradition are being replaced and the world is rapidly changing. One of these things is a stunning announcement. Recently, it seems that certain companies were aware of the discovery months before its official release. Sealgair Inc, and O'Conner Industries announced today they had entered a partnership to develop new hunter ships and have partnered further with O'Malley Heavy Industries to build them.
It is a widely know fact that most of the ships used by the Sea Hunters are converted warships, but what most do not realize is how old the ships are. For Example the Mary Anne,captained by the famous Morgan Wayne, is an ex Warg class cruiser built to patrol the waters of the Blood Sea. The same goes for the Queen Anne her sister ships, all ex Swift class destroyers again built for the Blood Sea. While 4 of the 5 Warg class cruisers and 23 of the 25 Swift class destroyers are still a float, a testament to there construction and care given to them over the years, they are undeniably getting older and have reported drawbacks, such as limited storage capability and incorrect armaments.
As part of this new initiative, the famous research and development wing of O'Conner Industries has developed new weapons for the hunters to use in there fight against the sea monsters. Among them is a new special anti kraken nets designed to ensnare them and hold them. New depth charges and hedgehog, explosive devices designed to drive the creatures to the surface. New and improved harpoons designed to inflict greater wounds and special channels to allow the beasts to bleed out faster, and exploding harpoons have been developed, as well. New special torpedoes are being produced that will track the beasts and hone in on them equipped with special anti sea monster war heads designed to inflict great wounds on the creatures.
These new ships will be the first Blood Sea certified ships to be constructed in 20 years and the first true hunter ships built in over 70. Two classes have been planned. One of these is the Queen of the Blood Sea class heavy hunter cruiser. These ships , according to released specs are going to be huge, with length of 812 feet, a beam of 95 feet and a draft of 34 feet and a tonnage of 34, 950. These ships will also have plenty of power, over 200,000 horse power provided by 6 O'Malley L2456 Series diesel engines. Inside sources report that the engines have also been heavily modified in multiple ways including larger supercharges, fuel booster injection systems, improved air intake, and improved cooling systems giving them a total of 25,000 extra horse power in a pinch, giving the ship a top speed of 40 knots. The ship will be pushed through the water by three armored and caged AZIPOD mounted in a triangle formation, allowing the ship to turn on a dime. The ship's hull are being constructed in a similar manner to the Warg class cruise with a double keel and honey comb internal structure and ribs built in such away as to allow the ship to adsorb the blows by flexing rather than breaking and the hull will be covered with the ever famous hull spikes and armored as necessary in addition to the odd contouring found on all hunter ships. The hulls are going to be made of newer stronger and lighter alloys developed over the years will further increase the ships toughness.
These new ships are not only fast and tough but heavily armed as well. These ships will be capable of deploying the new anti kraken nets from there stern. Each one will carry 5 depth charge launchers mounted on port and starboard and two more mounted on the bow, capable of throwing the depth charges up to 350 yards, these can also be used to launch bait barrels and other things as well. The ship will also mount 4 hedgehog launchers on each side that will fire a 4 by 4 array of the contact explosives up to 300 yards out. The ships will be carrying 16 torpedo tubes mounted on the flanks about a quarter of the way back from the bow and stern respectively on each side, in racks of four, to fire then new torpedoes. The ships will also be armed with the famous Eastwood and Wayne H45 Harpoon cannon, which fires a telephone pole sized harpoon accurately up to 10 miles, mounted in 7 quadruple turrets with auto loaders and fully enclosed and armored, 4 forward and and 3 aft. She will also be carrying the much smaller H30 Harpoon Launcher which fires regular sized harpoons. The ship will be carrying a total of 40 of these and both models are capable of firing the new harpoons. The ships are also equipped with a over 40 heavy duty winches of various sizes for hauling in kills. And for the final piece the ships are equipped with two double turret mounted just in front and behind, superfiring over the harpoon cannon turrets, the bridge. Each turret houses two 8 inch 35 caliber guns capable of firing on 800 pound shell accurately over 30 miles.
The vessels will have amazing eyes and ears. The ships will be equipped with the latest in sonar, both passive and active, lidar and radar as well as new undersea drones that will expand the ships senor net even further. All of these feature will be directed by the best computers money can buy. A hanger can also be mounted on the stern to store helicopter or drones in.
The second ship class is the Harpoon hunter destroyer. These ships are to be constructed as almost smaller versions of the Queen of the Blood Sea hunter cruisers at 702 feet long, a beam of 75 ft and a draft of 22, these ship clock in at a respectable 20, 994 tons. These ships will be built with the same structure and design as the Queen of the Blood Sea ships and of the same metals and both ships will feature the same heavy internal compartmentalization and mutli sealed desgined on all hatches, windows and turrets. They will even have similar armaments but will only have 4 double turrets mounting the H45s and 20 of the H30s and only two 8 inch guns, identical to the ones on the Queen of the Blood Sea class, mounted in single turrets, fore and aft, superfiring over the harpoon cannon turrets. The number of winches has been reduced to 20 as well. However they will still have the same torpedo, depth charge and hedgehog armaments as the Queen of the Blood Sea class. These vessels will carry the new anti kraken nets as well and be equipped with the same senor and computer suite as the Queen of the Blood Sea class.
The Harpoon class will still be powerful. They will be equiped with four of the O'Malley L2456 Series diesel engines putting out over 130,000 horse power with the same modification as given to the other ship class providing an extra 16,000 horsepower. Propelled by two armored and caged AZIPOD; the ships can reach a top speed of 41 knots.
These new ships are going to be expensive. Sealgair has placed an order for 2 Queen of the Blood Sea class cruisers and 6 Harpoon class destroyers. These new ship represent a quatumn leap in hunter technology and techiques and will revolutionize the way Sea Hunters work. These new ships will cost an estimated 94 billion dollars. Special sources revealed that maybe construction on these new ships has started and further along than we think. An inside sources at O'Malley Heavy Indrustial Park and Ship Construction Yards #2, located just down the coast from the Port of Savannah on was originally a hilly and cliff filled area next to sea was used as firing range by the navy so much that it blasted the cliffs and hills to peices, revealed that the hulls, superstructure and weapons have already been completed and installed on one of the Queen of the Blood Sea class hunter cruisers and 2 Harpoon class destroyer hunters which are supposedly under construction in the massive covered dry dock there. Further rumors and speculations abound that these vessel will be available for mass market sales, but this is currently unconfirmed at this time. Only time will tell.

Te Whanganui a Tara, 29 May - Two-way trade between VMK AG and foreign importers totalled around the tens of trillions mark, according to Erika Halstenfortein, a prominent Professor of the Economics from the University of Halsten of the Kingdom of Lindblum, one of nineteen countries in Yohannes.

For obvious reason, Chancellor Thorndon-Stevensonn, defended the act and assured foreign diplomats in Yohannes, that 'jobs and industries that are currently located overseas... related with VMK, will be kept as they are. Annual production contracted to governments already connected with VMK will also stay, meaning they will still receive VMK products. This limitation of total non-exportation and complete domestic activities are to be made into reality only after the date of the act. So no nation states already connected with VMK operations will be affected by this... admittedly very significant change. This will, however, stop further VMK export to foreign nation states.'

For 2013, Yohannes' VMK related trade activities logged a two-way trade deficit of 1.3 trillion Quertz russling to more than one hundred VMK supplier nation states, going up significantly from the previous year’s high of 1 trillion, with exports of composite materials and electronics relating to new aircraft manufacturing products and civilian shipbuilding again being the highest contributor of deficit. The last government to acquire a VMK export contract, with armaments to be delivered every year to that government, was Pherdistan. 'No new contracts of foreign nation states after Pherdistan will be filled', confirmed the Chancellor this morning in Royal Yohannes morning talkback radio.

The Bank of Yohannes has, meanwhile, balanced the deficit inflicted by VMK operations, continuing the trend seen since 1983 where VMK has continued to become a burden for the government, and the Bank of Yohannes, benefiting from investment towards VMK related operations in hundreds of foreign nation states overseas, acted as pillars of support for the overburdened, overworked arms manufacturing giant, balancing the trillions of loss of income caused by VMK multinational operations.

Imperial Senate Declares Modern Kavashi Citizens Non-Potthani/Anti-Potthan

In a vote between senators (99-1) they have decided that current residents of Kavash are not only traitors of Potthan, but are no longer Potthani. As stated by representatives by the Legion, "After preparations are complete we shall send the nearly infamous 5th Division to clear out any civilians residing in Kavash and occupy the entirety of the city."

Legate Bukra will lead 500,000 men into Kavash and "deal with anyone who opposes Potthan" as stated by Bukra. A Potthani Nationalist Parade will take place in Agadesh where thousands shall see our boys sent into battle. This Parade will occur 8AM-9AM tomorrow morning and attendance is free. Wine and song shall be serviced on behalf of John L. Pakrat and the National Fund for Wounded Veterans.

Not much has been said about the tactics that are going to be used, but Legate Bukra states "if we cannot kill the enemy with bullets, we will eat them away with fear." Legionaries are notorious for using fear tactics in battle, and 5th Division is the best of them all.

Under a series of provisions drafted by the Parliament which was passed today known as the "Punitive Measures", they allow me to authorize the use of the Castillian National Service to systematically strike targets of importance to the Potthani military network and infrastructure, while minimalizing civilian casualties. Should the Potthani government withdraw its forces from Kavash, pay reparations for the damages done by government forces, turn over senior military leaders involved in the Kavash campaign for war crimes and crimes against humanity, and allow inspectors to conduct more thorough investigations into the Kavash massacres, then the Punitive Expedition will not take place. However as I write this correspondence to you, the Sixth Expeditionary Fleet is being redirected from participating in Exercise Orange Dryad near Kassaran to Potthan. The fleet is capable of conducting sea-to-land operations, and furthermore several other battlegroups are being placed on standby to reinforce the Sixth if necessary. Admittedly, it will take time for the Castillian military forces to begin operations, so the Potthani government has ample time to engage in communication with the Premier's Government and meet the demands of my Office. After receiving a letter from Castille de Italia criticizing the Kavashi offensive and intimidating the Potthani government, Emperor-Warlord Jericho III has sped up progression in the cleansing of Kavash and thus almost all residents are dead or missing. When news of this letter reached common soldiers, many of them began paining mock Italia flags and covering it in the blood of Kavashi citizens. It is suspected that mass fortification of Bokan and Kavash has begun.

As per request of Emperor-Warlord Jericho III, here is the official response letter given permission to be published.

We understand your concern however we advise that you look from an objective point of view. These people are traitors and hooligans ready to be radicalized and destroy everything we hold dear. Roma, Germania- In recent weeks the talk across the lands of Dienstad and it's oceans have been on the civil conflict within the far-western nation of Potthan, under leadership of Emperor Jericho the first. It's struggle with communist rebels and elements of society in the region called 'Kavash' have been the center point for tension and conflict between the two factions. Literal anarchy has been the case for quite some time since the fighting began between the Potthani Army and the Kavash communist forces. From mainstream media in Potthan, It had been reported that over 200,000 casualties with many being fatalities have been the result of the conflict so far and may continue to worsen further. As is no mystery or revelation to those within the Ordenite state and nation on the troubles and infamous encounters with entities following the communist idealogy such as Marxism or more popular and known enemy, Bolshevism. We have seen it wreck havoc and shed blood in Castille de Italia, Holy Panooly, Kashubia and many more. Now these same communist entities are present and causing major strife within Potthan society and it's country. As per usual, the usual suspects have decided to take action in defense of the wretched Communists who have now been forced into hiding and or were captured by the Potthani Army in a new sweeping offensive that has liberated Kavash of communist ilk. In a assembly of the National government and Party within the Volkshalle in Berlina, Reichsfuhrer Grossmann afforded the time to speak on the Potthani conflict and it's recent developments, including responding to the Castillian Social Union's declaration that would see a naval element of it's military looking to intervene to bring "stability to Potthan" and "Bring Potthan under international law".

It has been announced as of recent that exercises involving maneuvers in the German Sea will take place by elements of the Deutsche Kriegsmarine, Marine Command South which include the entirety of the 3rd Fleet which is what primarily makes up Marine Command South. The Reichsfuhrer is said to be meeting with the Oberkommando des Wehrmacht on how to approach and carry out the necessary actions needed to prevent further Communist encroachment in the Far-West.

SHOCK AS TUKTAR DECIDES!
Commonwealth Preferred Option!

TUKTAR - The votes have now been counted and the results are now in for the Tuktar Referendum.

An announcement was made earlier today by the Tuktar Provisional Government, after it had received confirmation of the results, that the votes had been counted and that the citizens of Tuktar had decided that they wished to be part of the Commonwealth of Morrdh. This comes as a surprise to many not least Her Excellency's Government which is understood to have requested two recounts of the ballot papers, but the result was confirmed by Lamonian personnel who had been administrating and monitoring the voting process.

Final results were:

Commonwealth of Morrdh: 64%

Kashubia: 23%

Zvezda: 13%

The biggest factor that determined the results is believed to have been attacks by militia groups aligned to Kashubia and Zvezda respectively, though security efforts by the Commonwealth to fend of these militia groups is a close second. Another critical factor is possibly the Commonwealth's recovery programme for Tuktar which has focused on getting key services back up and running to bring back a sense of normality to the city, in particular utilities and healthcare. In addition the Commonwealth pays well the citizens who've signed on for one of the various work programmes. Though something else that may had tipped things in the Commonwealth's favour may had been the fact that the Commonwealth hasn't tried to impose its will on Tuktar, preferring instead to encourage the locals to take the lead and helping to set up the Provisional Government.

Following the public announcement of the results, the Commonwealth of Morrdh declared that effective immediately Tuktar would become the Protectorate of Tuktar. Going forward, the Commonwealth would be responsible for Tuktar's defence and, to a certain point, its external affairs. The Provisional Government will lay the groundwork for elections to be held in a year's time, at which point it will be succeeded by a democratically elected government. In addition Morridane Forces Tuktar will become a permanent establishment and a dedicated headquarters and a number of bases, though a defence force made up of local volunteers is expected to be formed in the coming months. Elements of the Commonwealth's Third Army in New Garrack have been deployed to Tuktar to bolster its defences in case actions by either Kashubia or Zvezda in response to the referendum result.

Potthan Approves of Christian Uprising in Neighboring Juninistan

Neighboring Juninistan, a country which was broken off from Potthan during the civil war, is suffering from a crisis caused by a "religious terror group" as quoted by the Juninistan's Democratic Regime leader, Jabal Nunkok. As well as know democracy and it's puppets are prone to lying. The group calling themsleves BKN or Bashan Nagat Nasraani are what the Potthani Senate believes to be a Pro-Christian theocratic militia that seeks to enlighten Juninistan, which is a country divided between Muslims and Christians. The Junini government claims this group has bombed several mosques and concerts across Juninistan, however these sources cannot be confirmed as they are deemed unreliable by the Potthani Senate of Media and Information.

The United World Order has pledged their support in the recent Kavashi Offensives and has earned them respect foreigners never had received before in Potthan. In an interview, Emperor-Warlord Jericho III stated "Very few outside the Golden Path understand the harsh steps we need to take to stomp our oppression, even at it's start. Tolerance is the virtue of a dying society.". However, the Emperor'Warlord's successful invasion of Kavash did hit a short side. It's estimated that anywhere between 80,000-100,000 Kavashi citizens have fled the country to other nations in Greater Dienstad, reported by Coast Guard. Coast Guard units tried their best to neutralize any escapees however by the time they detected escapees they were out of range for the most part.

Legate Nashmahad, a highly decorated leader of he offensive stated: "These criminals have escaped punishment and leech off of the sympathy of our neighbors. We offer to any neighboring nations whom stumble across refugees in their nation said refugees weight in gold and then some for their efforts. Citizens unhappy about regional turmoil

Early this morning, nearly a million people appeared before Government place and the surrounding area in the capital city, Victory, to demonstrate against the news of Potthan actions against humans. Victory is not the only place demonstrations have taken place, registration has been filed in seven other cities, where crowds ranging from ten to a hundred thousand people have come out to voice opposition of Potthan actions.

Ol'hovka, Kashubia - With what has been deemed as the most foul like take-over, a referendum has resulted in Tuktar and it's surrounding satellite towns to be absorbed into the Morridane Commenwealth. This has led to a new precedent of drastic tension not seen since before the outbreak of the 2nd Kashubian War in which resulted in millions of lives and more through a limited nuclear exchange and intense conventional warfare having taking place. Now with the Commonwealth now asserting it's position on the continent, also having been involved during the 2nd Kashubian War, has decided to completely defy the previous treaty and the negotiations that occurred that was meant to curb foreign influence on the continent. Already condemnations have come in from both parties on the continent, The Kashubian Republic was the first to make it known that it would not recognize Morridane control and sovereignty of Tuktar and the surrounding area, and that it is already setting plans in motion to deal with the illegal takeover of "rightful Kashubian land" while the Unified Eastern Star Soviets, or otherwise known as Zvezda has also refused to recognize Morridane authority over Tuktar, and has warned the Commenwealth that by breaking the treaty, the Zvezdan Armed Forces will have to respond. Despite relative friendly relations with it's former client country, the Mokan Federation, The UESS has made it clear that It will do what It must to ensure the authority of the treaty is upheld and that "World Socialism returns to Tuktar".

Already It has been reported that militias related to either side have been increasing the frequency of attacks on the proclaimed "Protectorate of Tuktar", Which has already resulted in blood shed which may soon return to such levels seen only during the 2nd Kashubian War. It has also been reported by fellow journalists within Tuktar, that protests have started against the referendum results and civil and political leaders from local communities within the area have been encouraging peaceful protests against the referendum results. It has also been rumored that President of the Republic, Viktor Kendrov is soon to be meeting with diplomats from the Ordenite Fourth Reich in which was the same nation that had previously occupied large swathes of the continent before the outcome of the 2nd War. However it has been understood that the Kashubian Republic is also taking the neighboring UESS into account when re-opening dialogue with the Fourth Reich, which may see the Deutsche Wehrmacht back into Kashubia under a supposed proposed advisory role for the Kashubian Armed Forces.

Theocratic Declaration Act passes with unprecedented majority.
With 217 votes of 'Aye', the Theocratic Declaration bill leads to a shocking change in the Federalist Republic.

After several months of increasingly heated debates and pointed discussions on Capitol Hill, things have finally come to a head after the Theocratic Declaration Act was voted on today in the Senate. While there was a very vocal opposition to the bill from among chief members of various political factions such as the Labor and Minarchist parties, it seems that there was a much more powerful though less boisterous movement in favor of the bill. A very clear and unarguable majority vote was made with 225 in favor of passing the bill, 76 opposed, and 24 abstains. This has been the second time in which the bill has been presented on the Senate floor and it has been passed with two-thirds majority which means it is now to be ratified as a law.

The bill itself is seemingly simple in premise, though groundbreaking in Sha Mobutian politics. Recent actions taken by certain nations in the region, the Federalist Republic has been seeking to ally itself with much larger and more stable nations who share similar ideals and views. Among these were the Grand Theocratic Empire of Holy Marsh and the Imperial Federated States of Romandeos - the name-sake members of the Romani-Mar'si Union. It also helped that many Freemen living within the Republic are ethnically from one of the two nations and that by the most recent census as many as 45% of the population were professed Marshites. Their combined regional influence and military power has made them out to be quite appealing as allies.

The Union offers many benefits to the member-nations. It allows for free and open trade between numerous state entities, a non-aggression pact between those involved, and access to some of the most advanced military weaponry from Covenant Arms and Lyran Arms. However they have some stipulations that each nation must meet before they can petition to join the Union - only four. The first is that at least 40% of the nation's population must ascribe to the Marshite faith, which has been met. But its the other two requirements of membership that have had those in opposition to joining speaking out against it.

Firstly, the Federalist Republic must acknowledge Empress Taunja I Lockeheart of Romandeos as Emperor over them. She sits as the reigning sovereign of both Romandeos and the Union. The third requirement is the establishment of a state church of the Marshite faith. The fourth and final requirement is the acknowledgement of Arch-Bishop Lainika of the Holy Marsh as the senior religious officer of the nation. Now those who are for joining the Union have pointed out that at no point does it demand a complete and total conversion of the citizenry nor an abolishment of the local government, that no Freeman in the FRSM will be required to give up any religious freedoms or protections which they previously enjoyed, and that the benefits both economically and militarily far outweigh the costs.

President Maikel Cruyssen is expected to hold a press conference in the coming weeks on the passing of the bill and the FRSM's petition to join the Union.

New Regulations on Shipping!!

It seems the rumors of hidden clauses with in the Blood Sea Act were true just not as initially reported. Recently the Federal Government activated a clause that was originally hope was unneeded. The new clause now call for all ships, vessels, rigs or any other structures in the Blood Sea to be certified for operations in those waters, no exceptions.
This move has been praised by several Senators including Senator Traskel of the Peacekeepers. He is quoted as saying "While this move will be disruptive, it is necessary to ensure the safety of all involved in the new and ongoing operations in the Blood Sea. While his opposite, Senator MacAlistor of the War Hawks responded "Bah, they all knew the risks of getting involved. We should just ban all other from what is clearly our waters and mine it ourselves. None of them Forgeiners are smart or tough enough to handle those waters. And if we do not ban them, I sat let the fools come and suffer for there stupidity and arrogance."
This recent move by the the Federal Government is in response to the recent attack on the RVS Turbulent. The ship was patrolling the designated Vectorian sector when it stumbled upon a kraken nest and was promptly swarmed. The ship would have been sunk if not for the timely intervention of Hunter Task Force Billy Joel of Sealgair, Inc, led by Captain Karrin Murphy. She declined to comment. Still the ship was heavily damaged and is being towed to O'Malley Heavy Industrial Part and Ship Construction Yards Number 2 for emergency repairs after which she will sail home.
Certification of vessels for Blood Sea operations has been traditionally handled by Tubaiste Insurance but as part of the new clause, the Federal Government will be starting its own department, but in the mean time will pay for any and all inspections and certification tests until its own department is ready. In the mean time, all vessel not certified have been ordered out of the waters including the Navy's own ships which have formed a ring around the Blood Sea to prevent entry. In addition domestic ship building companies are now offering packages to retro fit ships for operation in the Blood Sea. And O'Malley is offering to sell specialy built vessels certified for the Blood Sea as mention in the Savannah Times. How this plays out on the international stage is unkown, but it is expected to not go over smoothly.

When most of us wake up in the morning it is with the reassurance that we are, as a nation, safe and stable. In Sha Mobutia you are free to speak out against or for whatever political party you wish, worship any faith you desire, and know that you aren't at risk of the government cracking down on you. But today in the Grand Empire of Potthan a right that so many Freemen enjoy has been denied to the locals in the city of Kavash. Even as I write this now there is dust falling from the ceiling of this room while mortars impact nearby. The streets are unsafe as armored vehicles and armed patrols are starting to hunt down those the government has deemed dissidents against the state.

There have been increasing levels of violence over the last several days as government forces move into the city. Small pockets of resistance have formed to try and fight back, but ultimately the gunfire heard through the city is decidedly one-sided. On one side you have young men and women with poor rifles and shotguns and on the other you have trained government forces moving en mass against them. The fighting is ugly and brutal with civilians being left dead in the streets if they aren't already strung up and brutally tortured in any number of appalling ways.

With what is very clearly numerous human rights violations, its only a matter of time before the international community takes notice. Already word has spread that numerous national entities are speaking out against the government, though if any have committed troops at this time then they haven't reached the city itself yet. There are heartfelt calls to loved ones abroad almost every day and there are rumors that the government is beginning to strike cellular and radio towers in order to limit and cripple whta little advanced communications the city had prior to the siege.

What happens next? Only time will tell. And time is something the people of Kavash are lacking.

In Memory Of . . .

Posted here is the last written work of Luuk Coenen Jr., a field correspondent for the Freemen National Journal. He was in the city of Kavash to conduct research for an article on the condition of the economically troubled region around the city of Kavash, and the political turmoil therein. When the siege was put in place, Luuk was in the city pursuing local contacts to conduct research for his coming article. He was not a practicing Muslim, he was not a proponent of communist reform in any part of government, and he would have never been labelled an enemy of the state by any nation that valued freedom and integrity for its citizens.

Luuk was many things. He was a loving husband, a caring father, and a kind friend. He earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from the Ver Huis National Campus, after which he served in the Federale Republiek Leger as a combat photography specialist for four years, and then worked in the field of journalism for twenty years. In that time he showed himself to be a compassionate and caring man who always wanted to help those around him in any way he could. He is survived by his wife Jeanette of twenty one years, and his two sons, Yvo and Rens. In this time of hardship or condolences are extended to his family and loved ones. He will be sorely missed.
