Should we introduce more magic into the Imperial Army?

Yes make it quite common but not too strong on average.

Non sequitur.

I, by virtue of existing and continuing to delude myself with authorial delusions of grandeur here on NS, am the physical personification of the word wall, and by in heart the noble non sequitur. It is not a non sequitur when I deem that I must state it to bring about a point, it is simply a distantly related point through which we find the real reason for mania. Now excuse me, I need to go reed up some more on Sheogorath. Sheo is bae. <3

Currently a WIP. Really not much more that needs done, but I want to add some more details. Any notable errors so far though? Things you want me to change/revise?

Biography: Born into a life of nobility and leisure, Camelia was the fourth child of Duke Midgildr Flavina, and his only daughter which in turn allowed for certain privileges, but also placed certain expectations for marriage and political alliances on her shoulders. Her childhood mainly consisted of being tutored by the family scholars, getting drilled in etiquette, mingling with the other girls of the Castle, and being given whatever she desired whether merely by asking or demanding it of the courtiers. Her upbringing left her rather vain and selfish, but as a wealthy noble and daughter of a Duke, none would dare insult her for her vices.

Her relationship with her mother, a distant relative of the Emperor was much closer than that of her father, but that wasn't to say that relationship was bad either. Her mother adored her, showered her with praise, and granted any wish her daughter had, making Camelia rather haughty and expectant of others, believing they should almost quite literally be showering her with praise and compliments consistently.

Something quite unexpected was the death of her Father and siblings at Alnus hill, and in her grief she was easily swayed by her new Advisers and other nobles of the court, that the Empire had sent them to their deaths. It didn't take much to convince the girl, now a woman in bloom, that it would be in her best interest to Rebel against the Emperor. The idea of deposing the Emperor and becoming Empress herself held a great appeal to the new Duchess. Fueled and puppet'd by her Court, Camelia is now the figurehead of a Rebellion, and has been advised to establish ties with the invaders on Alnus hill. Associating with those who killed her family was a distasteful prospect, but she knew her aspirations and dreams of grandeur would never be achieved without strong allies. Meanwhile, she would nurse her grudge.

Since the demise of the majority of her family, Camelia has become more religious, seeking solace and peace for her beloved brothers and father. Worshippers of Hardy, Goddess of the Underworld have taken full advantage of the Duchess' grief, and established a powerful foothold in Camelia's domain, though she does nothing but funnel coin their way in return for services and blessings. She believes this will guarantee some sort of luxurious afterlife for her family. Despite the faith and conspiring nobles being the true power behind the Rebellion, Camelia is merely obsessed with the idea of becoming the next Empress of the Empire, and is delighted by the words of Hardy's worshippers promising her ascension to an apostle if she is devout enough and proves it through monetary or other means.

Personality: Often preferring pleasure and power instead of responsibility and duty, Camelia is known in her Duchy for being a woman who prefers hedonistic pursuits and grand parties to the responsibilities of running a duchy, often leaving those trivial matters to her advisers and council. She spends the coffers of the duchy on lavish and inconsequential items, and is often disdainful towards the peasants and common folk.

Seems to me that we're following the anime and directing our attention more and more towards the Empire as the story progresses.
I use my NationStates stats, because a population of billions/trillions and an economy of hundreds of trillions is totally viable, trust me.
But seriously, aside from the population and GDP, just assume that my NS stats are roughly accurate.

Support: Paleo-imperialism, conservatism, libertarianism, Christianity.
Against: Stupid people, resistance to industrial progress, alt-right, any form of government at or beyond socialism.

I think it's inevitable when we're faced with an enemy with standards and technology far out of date compared to the modern world. The only difference between this RP and the anime is that it's not a thinly-veiled attempt at building a guilt-free Special Region Co-Prosperity Sphere, at least not yet.

I'd still be up for an alt-version of this RP after this one ends for Vietnam-war era US to get hit by the GATE.

Oh man, do not even get me started on that. Had to really struggle to keep watching after I figured out that there was going to be no effort to portray the war as anything but entirely justified with such a clearly defined black-and-white. If I start pushing things in that direction, please thwack me over the head with a brick before I pass the point of no-return.

Well with how things are going to so far...I don't see that being incredibly likely. I mean as far as I'm concerned OOC and IC wise, the Empire is being treated kind of like a terrorist group of sorts. Though I imagine as we have larger contact the UN might just have to piss off because they're not allowed to "Wage War" In a sense it is turning into a mini Korean War of sorts. Minus the cold a millions of Chinese though.

Oh yeah. Feels like a good time to bring up the hundreds of people slaughtered and countless people kidnapped [and if you watched the show you know what can happen to them...] by the empire during its attack.

However he is not usually clad in these colors and style of clothing. He has dark hair and cobalt blue eyes with a pale complexion.

Biography: Berian is the current Landgrave of Regenos. Having been the third eldest child of the previous Regenos Landgrave Berian was sent placed into military training as a young boy. Being the Third child of his father Berian was not expected to inherit anything of value from his family. So he was pressed into service with the Empire. While he had a rather cushy position Berian found his true calling at fifteen. Taking part in competitions with the sword and other weapons. Eventually Berian represented his family in tournaments across the empire, making a name for himself and his house. At only eighteen Berian was leading troops into battle for the empire. He proved his loyalty to his commanders several times, however his love for country would come to a dramatic and swift end.

Berian's father had grown out of favor in the Empire. He refused his tithe to throne and suffered immediate reprisal. While away Berian's house was decimated, his father and brothers slaughtered, his mother killed and only his youngest sister and himself left unharmed in the family. In a bid to place someone who was loyal in the seat of the Landgrave Berian was allowed to remain as it was believed his loyalties were staunchly with the Empire. For four years Berian has ruled, bitterly but honorably in service to the Empire. He has so far proven his loyalty, however Berian retains a large force of private soldiers loyal to him first and the Empire second, and a hatred for the Empire that killed his family.

Regenos

Regenos is a small territory within the Empire, approximately the size of the American state of Maine. It is primarily covered in thick woods and mountains with large river valleys, where most of the population resides. The Capital of Regenos is the city of Regenos, the traditional seat of power for the landgrave of Regenos as well as the largest population center in the region. Built around the two fortresses of Arwinglade Castle and Camvale hold. Regenos is one of the oldest vassalized states of the Empire. It's troops having fought for the empire in nearly every conflict in the nation's history, and in doing so Regenos has held thousands of enemies of the Empire within the Prison of Camvale over the years. Regenos has acquired a sort of history as being a loyal guard dog of sorts watching over the empire's enemies that it spared.

I am more than happy to tweak it as need be. I really think this is interesting.

It looks good on a quick over view. I'll read through the rest and likely accept later today [given Bentus doesn't haven any objections]

I'm not sure what the policy is on creating new sub areas of the Empire [iirc only a few are even mentioned in the show], but I don't see how it would be much of a problem. I'd also be interesting to see how someone who doesn't like the empire acts as being the empires "lap dog"

And on that note; I know there is another character somewhere who was very anti-Imperial accepted a few pages back, and with that in mind lets try not to turn the convoy's current position into more of a cluster-fuck than it already is, ok?

If your character is non-UN but is interesting in meeting up with the convoy please TG me[If I haven't TGed you already] so I can sort out when you should enter

I think I have an idea for a character, but it's an Imperial. I might app for a UN member later, though.
