Is it the state religion, not the state religion but legal and tolerated, legal but discouraged, or banned? Islam is legal here but some of our population do distrust it a bit.

Although we are secular, Islam is the majority religion with around 69% claiming to be Muslim. However many are nominally Muslim, which means they don't practice it strictly. We respect it but we are against Islamism and radicalism which is considered a separate entity from Islam.
