The default claim is British, and if they don't wish to change that then I so no reason too. If the Argentinian claim were to be accepted by the Islanders in a free and fair vote, I would accept that too.
Personally, I think it's a ridiculous and stupid non-issue, that only really emerged when the Fascist Garibaldi regime needed an issue in the 80's, so I'm not inclined to be sympathetic to the Argentinian cause when it was that regime that first decided to make an issue of the question, but as I said, if the Falklands decided in their favor today, I wouldn't object.
