I hold the opinion that the only opinion that matters is the Kelpers' and the Kelpers have expressed in a fair and free referendum the opinion that Argentina can STFU and GTFO.
Also, Argentina never held any valid claim to the Falklands to begin with.

Btw I also think that HM's Government should just incorporate the Falklands as a county of England, thus shutting up for good that silly UN committee who whines about the Falkland not being sovereign enough.

The default claim is British, and if they don't wish to change that then I so no reason too. If the Argentinian claim were to be accepted by the Islanders in a free and fair vote, I would accept that too.


Personally, I think it's a ridiculous and stupid non-issue, that only really emerged when the Fascist Galtieri regime needed an issue in the 80's, so I'm not inclined to be sympathetic to the Argentinian cause when it was that regime that first decided to make an issue of the question, but as I said, if the Falklands decided in their favor today, I wouldn't object.
