Ask Aozora- The Online Question and Answer of Kyoki Chudoku

Postby Kyoki Chudoku » Sun May 07, 2017 11:57 pm

Aozora Chiyumi, Supreme Overlady of All Reality, was bored. This was hardly an unusual occurrence. Typically, in this situation, she either went to torture someone, or randomly browsed the internet. Fortunately (or not, depending on whether you think being starved to death is worse than being tortured fo death) for the "test subject" she intended to deal with next, she was also tired. Internet browsing it was then.

She encountered transcripts of various news outlets and radio broadcasts from other nations. They rarely mentioned her, and when they did they typically called her a "madwoman" or a "psychotic dictator". So disappointing.

But it was from this that she had an idea- she would create her own question and answer broadcast. Of course, she didn't want to waste time of her day talking about random stuff, so instead she opted for an online option. Thus, Ask Aozora was born.

On this website, individuals of any origin, ideology or ethnicity would be allowed to ask her questions about anything. How honestly she actually answered them would be her own choice. She smiled, the feeling that something great was about to happen flooding her.

What flooded her the next day was a bunch of flaming trolls and hate-mail. Many doubted it was her, many believed it, but few took it very seriously. Aozora didn't mind though. She was here for fun after all.

And thus began Ask Aozora, the online question and answer site of Kyoki Chudoki.

OOC

This is, as you may have guessed, a question and answer thread starring Aozora Chiyumi, Supreme Overlady of All Reality (actually just Kyoki Chudoku).

Rules are as follows:

1. Nations of any tech may post here. However, please try to avoid replying to other nations. This is a question and answer, not a question and argue with everybody (as good as that would be).
2. I am the OP, as such disobey the rules and I can ban you from the threads, temporarily or permanently.
3. Whether or not the existence of this is canon, or even recognised by your nation or not is entirely up to you. If you want you can just pretend Aozora is an internet troll. If you do consider the existence of Kyoki Chudoku and this thread to be canon, be aware that means accepting supernatural elements. Or just ignoring those bits entirely I guess.
4. Please try to avoid repeating already asked questions. Unless you fully believe an opinion has changed on them.
5. This is, believe it or not, an in-character thread. Please clearly mark any OOC comments, questions, etc. Also, make sure to say somewhere exactly which character is actually asking the question, whether it be some random guy or your nation's absolute empress of the universe.
6. Feel free to ask whatever question you want. Just remember the phrase "ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer".
7. No, Aozora won't go after you just because you insulted her on a random website. It needs to be at least a radio broadcast to accomplish that.
8. I may or may not get other characters of mine (pretty much Densetsu at this point) involved in this as well, so if you direct a question at one of them, they may respond directly as well as Aozora.
9. Remember Aozora is kinda insane. So if she makes no sense...that's intended. Usually anyway.
10. I have no clue where to put this, so it may end up getting moved.
11. Even though this is an internet site, please don't spam or flame. Just imagine anything like that gets automatically blocked. You can do these things if it's in character and if you have an actual question as well.
12. I'm in a weird time zone, so I may take a while to respond. Just imagine Aozora is asleep or busy torturing someone in the interim.
13. This is not the right place for things like declarations of war, alliances, that sort of thing. If you want to ask why one of those things happened though feel free.

Question if I may: Are you friendly to communism? This might seem a pretty simple question, but nevertheless I intend to ask it.

Answer: "Well, not really. It's supposed to involve giving power to the common people, and the common people are idiots. And giving heaps of stuff to the state, that's fine and all, but it tends to ruin the economy. And I don't care for people who care about their people. Also, it's often just another version of dictatorship. Which is good, but why bother pretending you care? I guess it depends on exactly what type it is honestly."

You guys sound like my kind of scum. If I and the lads were to pay your banana republic a visit for a night or two, how open would you be to joining us on our pub crawl? There'll be booze, heavy metal and general debauchery. And fighting. Because what's the point of going on a pub crawl if at least part of the tab doesn't consist of compensation for socking some malcontent bouncer in the jaw?!

It's pretty obvious you aren't a fan of democracy, but without it, what's to stop, say, another Hitler from taking power? What's to be done if someone's leadership is bringing a state to its knees? The only solutions other than democracy would be violent revolution or invasion by a foreign power, and those aren't good for anybody. I don't deny that autocracy has worked well for some nations, but the issue I've mentioned still remains.

How did you like the sound of the U wing transports flying over your city freeing civilians. We'd send in newer transports but just to be sure we'd never let you know of the new ones.

Exhilarating. I'm thinking of making a compilation of the engine noises. Then I'll play it in torture chamber your leader will be stuck in for the rest of her miserable life one day.

Honestly though, you may want to stop doing that. You're cutting it very close with our SAM installations and I'd absolutely hate to have one crash on innocent civilians. Actually it'd be great but you know me, I like making sarcastic comments.

Also, you may not realise this yet, but your regime is rather awful itself. I'd say you should focus on rescuing people from yourselves first. Soon enough your little U-wings will be U-turning. I can't wait to see it.

If I choose the first one will it have spyware in it and if I choose the second one it detonates on me as soon as I get it?

If I had to pick I'd choose the former. Sounds more useful. I can already launch missiles so having something I can't already do is obviously the better option.

I actually kind of liked it a while ago. It seemed rather cool you know.

But then of course somebody decided to start kidnapping our citizens. They call it "rescuing" but I doubt that's the case. I mean, your regime builds giant planet-killers, totally trustworthy lot there, not going to commit horrific genodicdal atrocities at all.

I mean, why do you like your regime so much? What's so good about it?

And yes, I know this is coming from me. But still.

She could have rejected, she could have stayed but still. The planet killer is only used if needed, we aren't just going around blasting planets up. As the final question, would you believe us if we say that the government is tracking your signal down to plant spyware.

Yes, yes I would. There's a reason I use a separate network for this stuff. Also, two can play at that game, just so you know. If I may ask, why do you hate me so much anyway? Actually nevermind, stupid question.

Also, you have a senate? Why? Now I have to hate you for ideological reasons as well.

Greetings, Miss Chiyumi.

First of all, I'm pleased to announce that the Government of Ayanka has decided to make an exception to the ban on access to web pages promoting counterrevolutionary ideologies and has opened up access to your questions and answers site to all Ayankan citizens, so... I guess I'm innauguring this "service" for the peoples of my country, then! Expect to receive questions from citizens of my country frequently. (And... I hope no offense taken but... I think the Party has decided to pass that exception because no one here is going to be attracted to your way of ruling anyway).

And well... My question has slightly something to do with that last sentence I just wrote. You have already stated that you dislike a wide variety of political ideologies, so... Which one would you consider the ideology of your nation is? Does it has a name? Does it even exist outside your nation? And if not... how are you ruling your country, then? (Because excuse me if I'm too skeptical, but I don't think you rule all over Kyoki Chudoku directly, mainly because micromanagement would be pretty terrible and very painful).

And that's all. I'll be expecting an answer with impatience. Meanwhile, I must go back to work!

Well, that's actually a pretty good question. I'd call it "amazingnessism" but I don't think anyone would take me seriously if I did that. Basically, the main aspect of this ideology is that I'm in charge of the country and can do pretty much whatever I want. So, I guess it's kind of an absolute dictatorship?

As for how I actually rule the place, each District has Densetsu in charge of it, but they don't spend too much of their time governing, so they tend to have a bunch of loyal, trustworthy people doing boring governing stuff with threat of torture if they mess up and such. The only reason for that is that it's a waste of important people's time to handle that stuff when they could be doing science or military stuff or torture.

Well, yes. Constant screaming does get annoying after a while even for me. So when I'm not torturing people in my spare, I'll often be painting stuff (though I'm not that good at it yet, sadly), training with my weapons, writing random stuff online, and also watching random stuff online. I don't like reading books too much, it reminds me too much of stuff, but sometimes I'll do it for the heck of it. Oh, I also run the country when it's not my spare time.

Well, the water pressure in the tank is a lot more than most aquariums and stuff because blobfish are kinda designed for that. Feeding him is pretty easy, just send some crabs in there and he'll eat those pret easily. There's not really much else to it, really, Blobby is a pretty simple pet all things considered.

Hello, Ms. Chiyumi. As I am sure you are aware, my nation’s premier, Comrade Pasichnyk, is not overly fond of your leadership. I am inclined to feel the same way, but since I now have the opportunity to personally ask you questions, I thought it might be better to develop an opinion for myself.

I may ask more questions in the future, but right now I will start with a few related to my own area of expertise: Does your nation provide a public school system? If so, is it free to all, regardless of ability to pay? Do you use your nation’s schools for spreading propaganda and indoctrinating students? Considering that you believe the proletariat to be unintelligent and incapable of making political decisions, see, I wondered if you were using education to mitigate that.

This may seem random and whatnot, but would you be open to the idea of a motor racing championship in your capital, open to drivers from Kyoki Chudoku and Arctica-Aleutia, and maybe some other places? It would be pretty awesome, and would let your people have a good time without you giving them the 'freedom' you oppose so much. Just between you and me, I've been practicing with my father's racecar every night...

Well, that's a good question. Believe it or not, I do believe schools are important in fixing the world's idiocy problem. Kyoki Chudoku does have a mandatory public school program currently, although it isn't entirely free, just fairly cheap. It gives us an excellent opportunity to examine which people are actually good at things and who needs to improve. Teaching them about stuff before they have a chance to become set in the mindset of idiocy is a valuable asset in the war against human stupidity.

Densetsu Hachi is technically in charge of education, being in charge of cultures, but Densetsu San also contributes a lot. As for the indoctrination thing, well I guess we do that, but give me an example of a country that doesn't. It's impossible to teach objectively when many subjects are subjective. Our goal is to motivate people to learn so they don't become idiots, so whether it's by rewarding people who do really well somehow or torturing the ones who don't doesn't matter too much to me.

Well, maybe I'd be open to it? Probably not in the capital though. Subete no Yoimono no Chushin isn't the best for that sort of thing. Somewhere in Nogyo District or Sangaku District would probably be better. Just don't try anything funny. And if that sounds the case, we may need to actually get decent racing vehicles. I get the feeling main battle tanks are a bit on the slow side for this sort of thing.

If you want to. Of course, you'd have to come here first. Fair warning, it hurts. A lot. But I'm always willing to make the world more adorable.
This nation exists for fun and insanity, not to represent my actual views which are much more mundane and boring.
