Royal Port Sinare Exhibition Centre, Port Sinare

Joshua McIntosh stepped out of the Prime Minister's car, carefully placing his newly-polished brogues onto the red carpet placed outside the car. He fixed his tie and rolled his shoulders back before fixing a calm smile onto his face as he was greeted by Rachel Harman, the Foreign Secretary.

"Good-morning Joshua. I've taken the liberty of speaking to the Manager of the event. She told me that everything is in order and phone calls from the delegates have began, we should be expecting them soon." She spoke calmly and warmly, she was good friends with Joshua and had supported him during the Prime Ministerial confusion last month, allowing her a close place next to Joshua in the Round Table.

Joshua's eyes flashed in keen interest, a look that many in the government feared. "Excellent, I don't want any mishaps. Have the BIS been in contact?" He flicked his watch out from under his sleeve, checking the time while Rachel spoke.

Rachel nodded, her tone reaching that of a whisper, "Yes, they have positions around and inside the building, you'd be surprised with how discreet they have managed to be."

Joshua laughed, causing Rachel to give him a confused glance, "I know, remember that I used to be a BIS agent and even the Director. Anyway, everything seems to be in place and now we know that the place is secure, I believe we can start. Go and signal that I'm ready." With that, Rachel walked swiftly towards the building and Joshua began walking towards the entrance.

Alongside the red carpet stood rows of Noronnican troops with a contingent of Athara Magarati Gurkhas who were part of the Noronnican Gurkha Regiment. Joshua smiled as he observed the crisp salute from each soldier as he walked past them. He walked powerfully, ensuring he put his weight into each step giving him a relaxed but confident look as he walked towards the doors, the clicks of cameras following him. As he reached the doors, two Noronnican soldiers opened them and Joshua turned to the various news representatives and smiled before walking through the doors and preparing for the arrival of the other delegates.

He was greeted by several of his own guards who escorted him to the main hall. The hall was a vast place with huge skylights taking much of the space of the ceiling. The building was very modern having been built very recently, but the walls were adorned with Noronnican painting, some dating back to the 1500's. Several sculptures stood next to the doors, each one sculpted as a famous Noronnican. The East Door was guarded by the sculptures of Queen Magaidh and Emay Hang, some of the most famous historical figures in Noronnican history. The doors themselves were grand, decorated with golden leaf and made from expensive wood, each carrying the royal crest of Noronica, even the floor was finely decorated as it was made from finely polished marble.

Joshua knew that the hall was a little overzealous, but it was meant to serve as a centre for Noronnican international events such as the CU Leader's Summit, and he would be damned if Noronica was hosting an event in a pig sty. He turned towards the door to the summit room and noticed that the flag of each CU member nation stood proudly outside the door in equal admiration for each other. He then turned towards the banquet table and nodded to a man dressed in a black suit and bow tie, he returned the nod and turned on the spot, rapidly firing off orders to kitchen staff who were dressed similarly. They all carried trays of food and some carried glasses of champagne with some carrying water for those who did not drink alcohol. The banquet table was filled with the food trays while those carrying beverages stationed themselves around the room to hand them out during the event.

Joshua had designed the event to ensure that the leaders would mingle in the hall first before entering the summit so as to ensure they felt calm in this environment. It would also allow for small-talk beforehand. Once that finished, the summit would begin.

[Ainslie]

A few federal corporals rushed onto the runway at Port Sinare Airport. They were not quite expecting the Prime Minister to come so early. PM Kenzai walked off the plane and onto the tarmac, entering the terminal within minutes. Andrew Kenzai then walked through the building and walked up to someone who looked official in the hall of the Exhibition Centre. He then spoke

"Hello Mr McIntosh, it is an honour to meet such an esteemed ally as Noronica is. I look forward to negotiations, and possibly some bilateral agreements between our two nations arising out of this summit."

[Noronica]

Joshua ovserved the Ahnslen delegation enter through the hall doors after being notified of their arrival. He recognised the Ahnslen Prime Minister and turned to face him, "Ah, Mr. Kenzai! It's a pleasure to meet you. I assure you that Noronica returns your sentiment and I hope to further develop our relations, especially due to our close geographical proximity." He shook the Prime Minister's hand, seeing that the licensed camera crew were looking towards the two.

"There are a few things I would like to discuss, however, it would be extremely rude of me not to ask, would you care for a refreshment?" Joshua waved over a member of staff carrying a tray of beverages.

[Ainslie]

"That sentiment is reciprocated, Mr McIntosh. It's truly a pleasure to meet you too, and I apologise for not extending a line of direct communication to you sooner. We've been extremely busy in Ainslie lately, and that probably shows on the faces of these Federal Corporals"

Kenzai laughed a bit, and then smiled for the camera, a little unsure about what a camera crew was doing in a building like this. His Federal Corporals also looked a little worried about the cameras being here. It was unusual in Ainslie for any camera crews to be let into conferences like this. However, in Ainslie, to ensure transparency, near daily press conferences would be held by the government.

Kenzai observed the building around him and thought what of an amazing opportunity this could be for his nation and the CU as a whole. The Prime Minister then looked at the federal corporals and thought they may need a bit of 'refreshment', as the fedcors would joke later about. Kenzai then insisted on the tray of water being given to him, so he could serve the federal corporals. After this, he returned the tray to the staff and decided to take a glass for himself.

"Thanks mate", he replied to the staff member. He then turned back to the Noronnican president, waiting for his reaction to the informal manner in which he had just spoke. He then continued "Yes, we are fully open to discussion. Is this in relation to the summit, or bilateral relations?"

[Travencia]

Acting President James Albano had arrived in the city a few days prior, which supporters back in Travencia had used as evidence to back up their claim that he's more than capable of conducting diplomacy. He was not as popular as the man he was replacing, and unlike McMurray he was not very media savvy and found himself the frequent target of the late night news circuit. Arriving in Royal Port Sinare ahead of time had given him a chance to get some rest and study up as much as he could in the few days he had to prepare. He had the pleasure of getting a first look into the expansion of Imperial Cruises, with a 2 day cruise to no where aboard the IC: Warrior of the Sea while it conducted its last series of sea trials. Ever sense getting thrust into the presidency, even if only temporarily, big conservative party donors were fighting to get attention for their projects, causes, and ideas.

Albano had to comes up with his own notes, under the gun at the 11th hour. The spot light of state events was new, and he would seek to make a good impression while championing his causes and interests, which might be significantly different than the ones McMurray would pursue. He had hoped he could find some support for acquisition of some new military hardware and components, something he felt that hadn't been a priority lately.

The delegation he had put together broke with typical protocol by having many more people from outside of government than officials and diplomats who worked for the government. The section 32 agent assigned to him made it quite clear what he thought, who wasn't too pleased to responsible for so many civilians. He made a habit of reminding Albano that he at least had to acknowledge McMurray's wishes while in an official capacity with other nations.



They made there way to the exhibition center and enjoy the sights and scenery of the city on the way. Noronica was pretty pleasant this time of year, a stark contrast to the beginning of the wet season back home. They mingled about and enjoyed looking at the display of artifacts of culture on display. One of the members of his entourage had casually decided to start small talking about his cruise liner company, mentioning the fact there are substantial investments being made between both this city and the city of Wellington...

[West Suomi]

Jeyzor stepped off the plane at the airport, along with the 3 other delegates, and they all headed to the terminal. They collected their luggage, and headed to the private taxicab that took them to the hotel where they would be staying. Two bodyguards were also travelling with them.

After arriving at the hotel, the delegates agreed to first unpack, and then head to the Royal Port Sinare Exhibition Centre, to see if they could by chance meet other delegates.

Jeyzor felt a rush of excitement, he was about to meet his future allies at the Summit, and he always loved meeting new people, albeit he was rather shy.

[Travencia]

[Covonant]

The flight from Coventry to Port Sinare was long, and a first time travelling to Noronica by a Covonantian Prime Minister. Accompanying Prime Minister Imperatus Marl was his private aide, and other technical staff in the Office of the Prime Minister, and this visit was not only special to Prime Minister Marl, it was also the first time he was travelling on the newly acquired Prime Ministerial aircraft.

The plane descended into the Noronican interior to land on the tarmac at the Port Sinare Airport. As the plane descended the Prime Minister briefing on the days ahead was just being completed. The landing on the new aircraft was smooth, so smooth that the Prime Minister was pleased at the improvement in his private craft for air travel. The plane taxied around the tarmac to park at the red carpet that was laid out for his arrival. The Protocol Department back in Coventry ensured his arrival to Noronica was befitting for his office. A few minutes of the plane being parked at the red carpet the Prime Minister began walking towards the door of the plane, but first he went to thank the staff of the plane for their service and went to thank the captain.

The doors of the plane were opened and roughly 3 minutes after the Prime Minister emerged, waving to the media. It was evident he came without his wife and why not, this was not a state visit but a summit and that was advised by the Protocol Department that the Prime Minister arrived alone. He effortlessly came down the steps from the plane and greeted the Covonantian Ambassador to Noronica His Excellency Julio Gnnias, who was to be the highest figure after the Foreign Minister in Noronica to greet the Prime Minister. After the greeting the Prime Minister waved to the media and the crowd that was present looking on at his arriving and went into the Stallion, the official vehicle of the Prime Minister that was brought over from Covonant. Also accompanying the Prime Minister were Praetorian Guards who were the assigned protection unit of the Prime Minister of Covonant.

The motorcade to Port Sinare was long, including police personnel from the Port Sinare police force and among them SUVs that transported the Praetorian Guards, as well as vehicles that transported personnels from the Office of the Prime Minister and others within various Ministries in Covonant, the vehicle transporting the Prime Minister and an emergency vehicle in the case the Prime Minister (god forbid) needs critical emergency assistance.

Arriving at the Royal Port Sinare Exhibition Centre, the Prime Minister was pleased with how grand the setting was, he believing in himself that the Noronicans have done their best to showcase the good of the country. The media at the venue had a large turnout and various security personnel was also seen. If anything that came to his mind was a sense of protection from any group, terrorist and non terrorist that may want to harm some of the most powerful persons in the Isles attending the summit.

The vehicle came to a stop at the red carpet. The door was opened by a Praetorian Guard and the Prime Minister stepped out. The Prime Minister was led inside the building as cameras flashed taking his picture and as media house personnel tried to have a quick interview with the Covonantian head of government including Covonant's own CBC which was there to report on the summit. Inside the building, the Prime Minister was amazed at the architecture of the interior and as he made his way into the main hall he was more so pleased with the display of Noronican art and sculpture. Inside he saw familiar faces such as Prime Minister of Ainslie Andrew Kenzai whom he hosted less than two weeks ago on a state visit in Covonant. Also the Travencian Vice President who he saw regularly on the TNN which he watches quite often when he has the time. He also saw the new Noronican Prime Minister who he had not had the pleasure of meeting. He had a very good relation with the last Prime Minister especially when Covonant played a prominent role in the Arvan incident. Also among them was the Head of government for West Suomi, the newly installed member state of the CU. The Prime Minister went to them as they all looked at him as he entered the room to greet them all.

"Good day Gentlemen. Prime Minister Kenzai its an honour to meet you again, one week after your visit to Covonant. And Vice President Albano, I am pleased to meet you our Travencian neighbour to the west, and might I add that I was happy to hear of the quick recovery of your President Mr. Fredo McMurray, whom I would love to extend an invite to Covonant when he is fit and able to cross over the waters" Prime Minister Marl expressed with a light chuckle. "Ahh and our host for what would be an important summit for the CU, Prime Minister McIntosh. Let me state how happy I am that Noronica has saw it fit to have the leaders of the largest political bloc in one building, it is the highest level of diplomacy that the CU could ever achieve and I hope for the sake of the CU and Noronica playing host that this summit will be a great success and we can all leave here with proposals agreed on to have our representatives back at the Cooperative Zone to deliberate more on with the hopes of implementing new resolutions to contribute to the development of the CU" The Prime Minister expressed as he shook the hands of the Noronican Prime Minister. He noticed that the cameras in the room were going off at great lengths since his arrival and more so since he began greeting the other CU leaders at which he turned to the cameras and smile. He noticed a newcomer among them and greeted him as well. "Prime Minister Jeyzor, I am pleased at your country's admittance into the CU and hope that from your visit here you will feel a sense of unity as we move our Union forward together".

Turning to the Vice President of Travencia, the Prime Minister laughed at his question and expressed "Mr. Albano, I believe that is a good proposal to contribute more to our nations in the CU being more closely united and what better way than politics and economics alone but sports as well. I must note however that though Covonant has baseball team it is not a sport that is very popular in Covonant."

[West Suomi]

(OOC: just to let you know Covonant, Jeyzor is the president of West Suomi and not the prime minister)

Jeyzor was excited to see that all the delegates were inside the Exhibition Centre. Vice-presidents, Ambassadors, Foreign Affairs ministers and even prime ministers were inside the centre. He went up to everyone and greeted them. "Hello, my name is Jari Laaksonen, president of West Suomi. You can call me Jeyzor for short, I like that nickname." he would say to each and every politician, while letting out a small chuckle.

Jeyzor was surprised to see that Prime Minister Marl, of Covonant, greeted everyone, including himself. Jeyzor greeted him back, after feeling a sense of friendliness, as the Covonantian Prime Minister had greeted him first.

Vice-president of Travencia, James Albano, had asked, "say would anyone fancy getting a baseball league started for the season?" As baseball is one of the most popular sports in West Suomi, Jeyzor replied, "The Suomian baseball teams would love that, as they enjoy playing baseball but have had no one to play against. So yes!"

[Travencia]

"see the way I see it is baseball could grow, everyone loves a good sporting event. Prior to a few weeks ago I hadn't the faintest clue about cricket, but now the games are shown live in primetime and people enjoy them! Now if memory serves me right I think Covonatians like track and field the best...."

an aid rushes over to VP Albano, clutching a cell phone "Sir, McMurray wishes to speak with you"

[Ipland]

Prime Minister of Ipland Rob Paul just got off his flight to Noronica from Ipland City.

"We're late, hurry, hurry!"
He said.

Upon arriving at the exhibition centre, he ran inside and took a second to observe the interior of the building.
He found it very beautiful, and slowly made hs way into the room where discussions would be taking place.

Rob saw the other leaders getting settled while chatting, and so decided to join them.
He greeted each leader from each member nation and joined the baseball convo.

"Y'know I haven't had a chance to get into baseball really, It's not big at all back home.
Cricket on the other hand, is fairly popular but I just got into it when that thing happened a while ago"

[Travencia]

"Say McIntosh, some of my aids back home wanted me to ask you about the possibility of buying some of your used surplus military hardware, you know to be well prepared incase anything that required a swift response came up...."

[Dragao do Mar]

Leonardo Pinheiro, the Marian head of government arrived in the Airport of Port Sinare. After some time, Leonardo Pinheiro excitedly left the airplane with his security guards and auxiliaries that were carrying his hand luggage. In the airport's lobby he talked to the press. "How is to be in you first meeting with members of other countries of the Cooperative Union?" "Where will you stay?" "What are the objectives of Dragão do Mar with other countries of the Cooperative Union?" he answered all adequately and went directly to a governmental car, that was followed by scouts and the police.

His auxiliaries took his baggage to the place he's going to stay, meanwhile he was getting to his destiny. Leonardo Pinheiro, with his security guards entered calmly the Royal Port Sinare Exhibition Centre. He walked through the meeting hall and pronounced with strong Marian accent:

"Salutations, my companions… It must say that i'm honored to met your persons, who are committed to our alliance development and growing. I'm here not only representing the leaders of a country, but all the people of Dragão do Mar, with their differences and equalities… …I am all in favors of the Cooperative Union, and from the discussions we will make here, the ideas and the suggestions, i hope we are going to construct a real bridge to the future."

[Athara Magarat]

A few moments after Leonardo Pinheiro's arrival, the current Hang of Athara Magarat Purna Sura Paija arrived in the Royal Port Sinare Exhibition Centre. He had met Imperatus Marl before and the two men had developed a special friendship without which Athara Magarat would not have been a member of the Cooperative Union. He had met Katherine Karma and the two had developed respect for each other's nations. Paija Hang mused at the thoughts that he would be meeting several other heads of states and his relationship with them all would be different but at the same time those relations would keep the Cooperative Union together.

At least it will keep Athara Magarat in the Cooperative Union.

Oh, enjoy the sweet talk and drinks, little useless Hang!

Will you two ever learn to shut up? Let the boy do what he wants. He knows the best for Athara Magarat.

Boy, huh? You all are pesky little boys and girl to me. Once I ruled over lands full of riches, I commanded armies whose march could shatter the Isles and now look at you fools. Shouting to each other over a silent politician of a small island...

Shut up! Paija Hang finally was in control of his own thoughts. I know what I am doing. This is my Athara Magarat, not your empire, kingdom or republic! I don't care if you are Srijunga Hang or Onim Hangma or Ram Bahadur Purja or anyone else before me. "I don't need your advice!"

"My Hang!" Nysa Tamusyo, the Athara Magarati ambassador to Noronica was startled. "Do you not want me to attend this summit?"

"No," Paija Hang was meek and kind once again. "I need your assistance. Why else would I have brought you here?"

"But just now..."

"Forget what I said."

But she can't forget what you said.

And neither will you ever cease to forget what we say.

The voices laughed as the short man with small eyes, yellowish skin and wearing his ethnic dress joined the other leaders in the summit.

[Noronica]

Joshua smirked at Kenzai's relaxed tone, he was not one for overzealous pompous attitudes, so having someone like Kenzai was refreshing. He grasped hold of a cool glass of champagne and turned back to Kenzai.

"Well I would be happy for both. It is no secret that his summit will build upon individual relations and wider Cooperative Union relations, so I would be happy to discuss both for Ainslie and Noronica." He shook Kenzai's hand again and turned his gaze to witness the arrival of several other leaders and their delegates arriving.

As the Covonatian Prime Minister arrived, Joshua McIntosh sized him up. He was certainly an imposing figure, someone who needed a careful but considerate approach. At the greeting, Joshua smiled widely and shook the Prime Minister's hand, making sure that cameras caught the occasion.

"Hah! Noronica is more than happy to accommodate such an event, especially if it means that we can build upon all of our relations. I hope that Noronica and I can play a fulfilling host." Joshua then turned to speak to the new leader, Jeyzor.

Joshua was concerned, the BIS hadn't got enough information about Jeyzor due to his quick arrival. This meant that for once, the ex-operative was left in the dark over this new leader. A smile was set on his face while his mind whirred in considerations.

"A pleasure to meet you President Jeyzor, your appearance here is a great opportunity for the CU to witness the potential of West Suomi." He shook hands with the new leader making sure to note down any detail he could.

He smiled at the Prime Minister of Ipland, "I must say that I prefer cricket myself, especially due to the prowess of our Isle teams. Who knows, we may be able to set up a CU team!"

After some small amounts of chatter, Joshua turned to the Travencian Vice President, a shark's smile on his face, "I would be very happy to discuss military deals, we should be able to come to an agreement. Should we discuss this openly... or maybe in a more private setting after the meeting?"

Finally, Joshua turned to the leader of Dragao do Mar and the Hang of Athara Magarat, "Good day! I am very glad to see you here in Noronica."

Joshua grabbed the attention of a few servers and told them to offer drinks to the leaders. After everyone had a glass of champagne in their hands, Joshua grabbed his car key from his pocket and knocked it on his glass creating a loud tinkling noise.

"May I have your attention everyone! I must express my deepest gratitude in your prompt arrivals, this plan has been going on for a long time and I'm glad that this convention is going smoothly so far, let's hope I haven't spoke too soon!" He chuckled good naturedely, "I am glad that this event is taking place and I hope that Noronica can prove to be a good host. For centuries, our nations have formed through wars, through revolutions, and through hardships. Now we stand together in unity, each member state of our grand union gathered here to promote peace, trade, and prosperity. I hope you will join me in discussing the future of the Isles and our place in them today in the summit chamber next to this hall. This shall take place in a few minutes, so please enjoy yourselves but keep an ear out for the announcement. Once the announcement comes, I would like to encourage you all to join me in the chamber where we shall each find an allocated seat with our nation's name in front of it. Thank you."

Joshua turned back to a security representative, "Could you please escort the media out now, they have their pictures."

[Ainslie]

Kenzai, after listening to PM McIntosh's statement looked over to the Covonantian PM and remarked 'I have a feeling this is just a trap for all of us to sign a lot of bilateral agreements, but I guess that's the CU!'

He then noticed Jeyzor, the President of West Suomi, a nation culturally and ideologically similar to his own.

'Hello, esteemed leader, and welcome to the Cooperative Union. I hope that we will be able to talk together as we were going to back in my home nation. I look forward to a productive and positive conversation. We coulda 'planepooled'. That could have been interesting...'

As he clearly noticed the conversation about sport, Kenzai, an extremely disappointed Arnton Thunder supporter, then decided to enter that conversation.

"Go for it, please, it would be great for more teams to be able to play on the world stage, and I believe it would be a great thing for nations, and for diplomacy." Kenzai then remembered the faces of stressed out HITSIX personnel he met a week or two ago.

He saw the Iplandic PM, one of the only ones he his nation has not had recent involvement with, and turned to say Gday and give a friendly smile. A federal corporal then rushed up to him, with a phone in her hand. Kenzai answered.

"Gday?"
"It's Blackmore here. Somehow ACEGAD gave us the all clear on the military base idea. However, larger bases will need majority senate approval. That's all, wanted to let you know before you walked into the summit with nothing to offer."
"Thanks Blacko"
"No worries, See you"

Kenzai then walked back into the group and continued the typical small talk and discussion.

[West Suomi]

Jeyzor was happy that the conference was set to start in a few minutes. He wanted to improve relations with all the member states of the CU.

Prime Miniser Kenzai of Ainslie greeted him, so Jeyzor replied with, "Hello, Mr Kenzai! I am so glad to meet you, as I am eager to increase ties between our two countries. I think it would've been very interesting if we 'planepooled'!" Jeyzor said before letting out a chuckle. "I wonder what will be discussed in the meeting? I am not too good with meetings, so bear with me if I look tired." Jeyzor said.

Prime Minister Joshua McIntosh of Noronica also greeted Jeyzor. Jeyzor greeted back, saying, "It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. McIntosh! Thank you for coming up with the idea for this summit. My nation just joined this Union, and having a summit is a great way to get involved with the Union. I hope to increase ties between West Suomi and all other member states of the CU. I am and have always been a kind man, so any help I can do to any nation will please me. Thank you for inviting me."

Jeyzor then started chatting with everyone for the last few minutes before the Summit was set to start.

[Dragao do Mar]

Leonardo was observing and listening to everything attentively, especially for Joshua's announce. He was very cautious for what he was going to say, because i was his first encounter with other leaders of member nations of the CU.

Trying to interact, he headed to Noronnican Joshua McIntosh and Magarati Purna Sura, and seriously but nicely said: "Greeting from the Marians, sirs, it's amazing to finally meet you". Then later he talked to the president Jeyzor: "Hello, i see that you got here first, but, welcome Mr. Laaksonen, i expect to know more about West Suomi and approach our countries"

[Travencia]

"Well Mr. McIntosh, it should be no secret that we seek to purchase some of your planes. I assure you sir, I come from a long line of Air Force service. Compared to our navy its been terribly neglected, and I intend to use my temporary position to correct that oversight. Especially with this talk of hypothetical war game scenarios..." Albano paused, not wanting to tip his hand directly. Surely the ships could wait, but they too need an overhaul. It would be weeks before he got a chance to get up to speed with some of the war game simulations being run by Section 32 in secrecy...

Across the room, the CEO of Imperial Cruises was proceeding to introduce himself to Leonardo of @Dragao Do Mar. Ron Mausik was a very good friend to Mr. Albano, and has been on of his largest political donors in recent years. With a rapid expansion of his company into other CU nations, It was his job to convince his conservative party peers that union membership should be supported do to the fact its great for business. He wanted a chance to personally meet the leaders of nations that he was going to base his ships out of...

"Excuse me Leonardo, I'm Ron Mausik CEO of Imperial Cruises. Your city Fortaleza is the home port of our ship the Hitchcock Express, which is on its way right now from dry dock.
