RP Setting and Lore
In the prelude of the battle of Antietam, Lee’s battle plans had been dropped, picked up by the soldiers of the Army of the Potomac. In this world, that does not happen. When the Battle finally did occurs, the Confederate armies were allowed to carry out their plans. Forcing the Army of the Potmac into battle on the banks of the Susquehanna River by launching a surprise attack on the Union army, destroying the Union Force at the Battle of Camp Hill. After this decisive Union victory, Lee and the Army of Northern Virginia went on to occupy Philadelphia. This decisive victory resulted in diplomatic recognition from the UK, and France. The two European powers forced mediation on the USA; The CSA has won its independence, in what will come to be known as The War of Succession. After the battle of Camp Hill, the CSA General Braxton Bragg completes the Conquest of Kentucky, and the Indian territory of Oklahoma also joined the CSA, becoming known as the State of Sequoyah. Years later, the CSA had bought three territories from the Empire of Mexico, who needed cash badly. The Provinces of Senora, Chihauhua, and Baja California. This enrages the USA, who then brings the USA to war with the CSA again in 1881-1882. The CSA bringing no offensives against the USA is seen as as being bullied by the larger neighbor, causing French and U.K. intervention once more. The Mormons in Utah also rebelled during the war, severing the connection from East to west, and were promptly crushed, souring relations between Utah and the rest of the Nation. In the war, Confederate forces under the command pioneered the first Trench Warfare tactics, bogging down the USA in Louisville. Eventually, the USA was forced to stop, suing for a generous peace offer the CSA proposed. The USA just hade to accept its territorial purchases in Mexico. Britain wanted Northern Maine for participation in the war. In the USA, both Wars being lead by the Republicans, caused the demise of the Republican Party, which never makes a recovery of any level until the 20th century. The Democratic Party, becoming the Right Wing, Hard Line party takes power solely for decades. The opposition, if they can be called that, is the Socialist party. The party is the Liberal party, lead by Abraham Lincoln initially, but doesn't receive much attention. The Whig Right wing party retains sole control in the South. The only real opposition is a party known as the Radical Liberals, though they rarely get any positions of power. After the war, realizing it needed powerful allies, the USA began drawing closer to a now Unified German Empire. The CSA reaffirmed the alliance with France and GB. The CSA had now began its own industrialization process, despite being Agricultural in nature, and growing its production power. Thus, in 1884, with the need fading, and mounting Pressure from the U.K. and France, the CSA freed its slaves. Though, they were not granted citizenship, and are considered legal residents. For the African American, it's still a long road to equality. The CSA had turned its attention to the Caribbean as well, fighting a war with the weakened Spain, assumed control of Cuba and Puerto Rico, and had almost managed to get the Philippines. Barely, as the Japanese Empire was on the rise in the Region, and was suspicious in its own right of the Confederacy, though the two are friendly being the connection had with Britain.

The year is 1890, and if you hadn't guessed, shits a bit off in the world. The South is independent, American is with Germany, and no one’s paying attention to Japan. The United States, are no longer United. It is now up to you to assume the role of the many countries at play here. I, your host Apror, will be the CSA. The Dashing Hero, or the dastardly Villain. However you feel is up to you, but that's okay. I'm hear it please you in a non sexual way. Either way, let's get to it.

NOTE: This RP is using Real Life Nations, and new Nations outside of the Confederacy are to be made in the RP. When applying, you must chooses a Nation already in exsistance, and I will allow people to RP as colonies such a Australia or the British Raj. They are still not independent though.
