"Thank you very much, Minister," Ariel told her, "there are not words in existence that can fathom my gratitude."

He pulled out his own phone, an older flip-phone, from before the rebellion, now sheltered in a case quickly painted to match the Suniteri flag, and quickly punched in a number.

"This is Vice President Bradford of Suniter speaking, President Klein is out right now, but he'll be back within a week." The voice of his Vice President came through the phone, slightly tinny.

"I think it'll be a little sooner than that, Abraham," Ariel replied, stifling a laugh, "how's the country doing? It hasn't broken down yet?"

"Ah! Mister President, everything's fine back home, but please address me by my title for these kinds of matters."

"Alright, Vice President Bradford, I'll cut right to the chase. The moment that I get home, we need to call a special assembly of the Senatorial Council."

"Oh no," Abraham groaned. Ariel could almost hear Abraham's face going pale with fear, "what have you done now, sir?"

"I'm insulted. I'm not an idiot, I wouldn't get us involved in a war in the shape we're in. It's good news!"

"What is it? Don't keep me in the dark," replied the Vice President.

"Well, I'm talking the Minister of the Western Isles of Katalasyia," Ariel told him, "could you write this down?"

"Yeah, sure, give me a second," replied the Vice President. For several moments, Ariel could make out the sound of Abraham shuffling a pile of papers, "alright, I've got a pencil, lay it on me."

"Thanks. Anyways, I'm talking to Minister Rose-Tanner, Minister of the Western Isles for Katalaysia, and she told me that they may be able to help us. I'll probably be back in about three days," Ariel continued. Over the phone he could hear the vigorous scratching of Abraham's pencil.

Jeyzor had heard about the aid that the nation of Suniter needs. He had also heard about how Katalaysia is willing to help.

He thought that two nations helping is better than just one, so Jeyzor decided that he wanted to help the poor Suniteri people after a bloody civil war.

Jeyzor wanted this to be his first kind action since he became president of West Suomi, so he finished up in his hotel room, and rushed off to the International Building, hoping to either meet or find out how to contact president Ariel Klein of Suniter. Jeyzor saw a picture of him, so he knows exactly who to look for.

Of course, his nation would have to have a referendum to vote for the aid, but Jeyzor was sure that the Suomis would be more than willing to let some of their tax money go to the aid for Suniter.

Jeyzor walked aimlessly around the International Building, hoping to catch Klein. Soon, he stopped looking and decided to ask the reception about how he could contact him. "I'm sorry Mr. Laaksonen, (Jeyzor's surname) but Ariel's contact details are private information. All I know is what hotel he is staying at. Want me to tell you?" the receptionist said.
"Yes, please!" shouted Jeyzor. The receptionist then told Jeyzor which hotel Klein is staying at.

"Maybe I can somehow get him to find me in the hotel..." Jeyzor thought, while travelling in a cab to the hotel.

This was a rather informal way of doing things, Jeyzor thought. But Jeyzor and meetings don't go together. So he thought he would try to meet Klein in surprise first before setting up a meeting between them.

OOC: I doubt it's in the newspaper yet, since most of Katalaysia doesn't know yet.

Aubrey sat silently, smiling. Katalaysia was so isolationist it was important to choose their support wisely. Hopefully they hadn't gotten in the middle of a huge mess, but how could she resist helping others in need, with Katalaysia's economy flourishing so much?

Jacob Blackwood ran out of the helicopter, which was near the International Building. He quickly opened the doors to the building, where he continued his unintentional mid-morning run to the room in which the others were. His delegation was quickly walking behind him, explaining the unusual sight of a diplomat sprinting in a suit to the bystanders, receptionists and other staff who were left suprised, suspicious and a little worried.

He then straightened his suit and walked up to the delegate from West Suomi.

'Gday', he said to all the people in the room, as he tried to catch his breath.

'Hi, my name is Jacob Blackwood. Please don't call me Blacko, Whitford does that and I hate it. I'm the deputy ambassador to The Western Isles from the Unified Electorates of Ainslie, and unfortunately work at the pleasure of my superior [Whitford].'

Blackwood was quickly briefed by his delegation, who only just caught up.

He then turned back and made eye contact with the president of suniter and began to speak.

"Hello, Mr President, and welcome to the endless surge of bureaucracy we like to call the International Relations. We would like to extend a hand of help to your nation, and also a invitation to our human rights summit currently happening in our nation. We recognise the instability you have back at home, and we thank and commend you for coming despite that.

We would also like to enquire about possibly sending some advisors to your nation, who may be able to assist you in matters of stabilising your nation. We also have a dynamic first class business environment, with one of our pharmaceutical companies eager to expand, and your nation would be great for that."

Jeyzor had left the hotel a while ago without a trace of Ariel, and was now sitting in the conference room with all the ambassadors of other nations. Jeyzor had always been a bit nervous, but today he West Suomi especially nervous. He was sitting in a room with delegates from some of the greatest nations in the Isles!

However, Jeyzor knew that he would soon have to speak to Ariel Klein, and offer his country of Suniter support. He waited for the perfect moment, and said, "May I speak to Ariel Klein of Suniter?" Everyone kept quiet, except for Ariel who said,

"Yes. What do you want to talk to me about?"

"I would like to offer your nation some support after that long, violent war that was just fought." Jeyzor said.

"Oh, well thank you! I've never had this much support in my life. First Katalaysia, then Ainslie and now West Suomi." Ariel said.
The two chatted on for a few minutes, discussing what Suniter needs, and what Jeyzor and West Suomi will be willing to send.

Afterwards, more matters were talked about, and eventually Jeyzor decided to leave.
He went back to his hotel room, and called vice-president, Finn Deksin.
"Hello this is Finn, the vice-president of West Suomi. What do you need?" Finn said.

"Finn, it's me, Jari!" Jeyzor said.

"Oh, you little bugger! You should have told me straight up. But anyways, it's fine. What are you calling for?" Finn exclaimed.

"So, I've talked to the president of Suniter, and told him that our nation would like to help his. But, we cannot help them without the taxpayers' money, so can you issue a referendum out to the public on whether they would like their money to go and help Suniter." Jeyzor explained.

"Will do, Jeyzor! That's great news. I hope the public is in favour with the aid, because it is great to help people who are in need. Ok, is that all?" Finn said with excitement.

"Yep, that's all. Thank you Finn. Goodbye." Jeyzor said, before ending the call.

Jeyzor had completed his first big task since becoming president, and it made him happy.

(OOC: So, Suomi, just for future reference, it's considered really, really bad form to have somebody else's character do something without their express permission because by most RP rules, it is a form of "Godmodding," normally is annoying at best, and potentially RP-breaking. By "bad form" I mean that would get you, at the very least temporarily banned, or maybe even perma-banned, instantly, no questions asked, on some of the RPs that I've been in. Now, in this case, it fits my character's goal, so I'm fine with it. Don't make a habit of it, though.)

"Thank you, Deputy Ambassador Blackwood," Ariel replied, returning the handshake, "I don't think I need to worry too much about the bureaucracy. I got some experience with it during my eight years in a military command. I would be very grateful to host ambassadors and advisors from your nation. However, once I get home, it'll probably be a few days for me to get a formal reply, as every agreement I make here must be approved by the Senatorial Council, not that I think that there will be much of an issue raised with getting help for rebuilding efforts. I will at the very least make an attempt to visit your nation for the human rights summit at the very first chance I get."

Looking around at the assembled delegates, Ariel became acutely aware that he was, by far, the most underdressed of all of them, in his jacket and khakis. The next person to approach him was the President from the nation of West Suomi. Taking several minutes to chat with him, Ariel thanked him for his willingness to provide aid to a such a young country.

Jeyzor never liked meetings, and this wasn't an exception. At the previous meeting, he tried so hard to listen but eventually started daydreaming. This is why he decided to leave that meeting early.

Jeyzor woke up the next day, got ready and left to the International Building. He didn't want to go back to the conference room, unless he had to. So he decided to have breakfast at the restaurant.

As Jeyzor paid and left the restaurant, he was surprised to see the paparazzi outside! He thought to himself "Surely I am not famous enough for the paparazzi to be after me!". But, the paparazzi were after him, as Jeyzor heard a bunch of clicks and there were cameras pointed at his face. This was embarrassing for him, as he was wearing a casual outfit; a t-shirt and shorts. So Jeyzor decided to run away from them, and catch a cab back to his hotel.

As Jeyzor entered the cab, the driver said, "Good day to you! Why were you running so fast to get into my cab?" the driver said while letting out a small chuckle.

"The paparazzi were after me!" Jeyzor explained.

"Oh dear! The paparazzi are relentless, so good thing you're in my cab now. Where to sir?" the cab driver asked.

"To the Pappar Hotel please!" Jeyzor said.

"Alright, I'll get there quickly so you can escape from the paparazzi." the cab driver responded.

"Oh thank you so much!" Jeyzor said.

Jeyzor went back to his hotel, and quickly rushed into his room, where he was safe from the paparazzi.

Blackwood was taking a brisk morning walk, a quite normal thing for Ahnslens who work in the government to do.

As he was walking down the street, he noticed a large group of people and what looked like the President of West Suomi outside of a restaurant. He was surprised to see that the president was trying to avoid the press so much.

He saw the casual clothes that were worn by him, but discarded the idea of that being the issue, remembering the time when Prime Minister Kenzai was photographed with a shirt and board shorts on at a beach in Mandurah.

Jeyzor woke up and decided to go to the restaurant in the International Building for breakfast, as he quite enjoyed the food the last time he went.

Luckily there was no paparazzi today, but Jeyzor was still extra vigilant as he left the restaurant. The reason he doesn't like paparazzi is because he isn't used to them, as this is his first outing after becoming president and Jeyzor is shy.

Jeyzor has just one day left in the I.D., so he decided to head to the International Building and go to the daily meeting, where maybe he could discuss something with another nation's delegate.

Jeyzor was on his way to the I.D. airport, headed back to Suomi. He thought about what he had accomplished in the I.D. It wasn't much, but he was still very glad of what he had done to help Suniter.

Jeyzor's private plane left the airport and several hours later it arrived back at Waters-Laaksonen International Airport. It was late at night, so he went back to his private residence and went to sleep.

The next day, Jeyzor realised that he was meant to be going to Ainslie and talk about their foreign relations. He decided he would stay for a week in West Suomi and then he would fly to Arnton, Ainslie.

Jeyzor asked Finn Deksin (the vice-president) about the referendum results.
"Hey, Finn! Did you hold the referendum? And if so, what were the results?" Jeyzor asked.

"I have the results right here." Finn said before finding the results on a computer. "63% of the voters are happy with some of their tax money going to help Suniter, while 37% are not."

"That means that the referendum was a success! I'm so happy!" Jeyzor exclaimed.

"I'm also very happy. It's great to see that such a large percentage of our citizens have kind hearts and want to help Suniter recover with their taxes." Finn said.

Queen Matrice woke up and wondered through he castle, she sat and pondered for hours and finally picked up her comstone. "hello?" The voice on the other end said, "yes hello Nimey its Matrice I need my advisers at the castle" the queen said, "oh yes of course your highness" the secretary replied hanging up.

A few hours passed as three figures approached, "whats is it your highness" the red haired young man asked, "well...I think its time to reveal our kingdom to the world" Matrice replied
"Whenever you think its time" the white haired man said, "I do with that eather mine we found we could make a fortune trading it and imagine how much work the guild would get, the guild would get more members and enough money to buy a new guild hall." The queen stated as the three nodded in agreement, "then its settled then... Today we come out of the shadows.".

Hamish Dyson walked into the International Building. He formerly was an ambassador until Ainslie closed their embassy to that nation. The job of Deputy Ambassador to The Western Isles was quickly becoming a way for former ambassadors to be assigned to new diplomatic missions as the ambassador.

Jacob Blackwood used to have this job, until he became ambassador to West Suomi. Hamish Dyson was hoping that he would have the same fate, although he liked this job anyway, he liked the job of ambassador more.

The Samuderan International District delegate steps down from the Air Srivikarta, the national airline of Samudera. A young inexperience man himself, he feels anxious when he received the order from the President himself. "Sir Antares, you forgot to bring your suitcase!", shout his secretary behind him. God, why i'm such an absentminded person. "Thank you, Gina. Now that i forgot about it, you could help me bring those suitcase to the taxi." replied him. Another sigh were heard, and there they go straight to the International Building. He sure got many things to talk about in front of the other delegates.

Ariel Klein walked down the street. After nearly bumping into a suited gentleman, he quickly aplogized.

"My bad," he said, before stopping in his tracks. A small red, white and yellow flag caught his eye. "You're from Samudera, aren't you? I'm President Ariel Klein of the Free States of Suniter. I'd recognize that flag anywhere after seeing it on almost everything my unit got during the Rebellion!"

Hello, my name is Hiro Shinzumaki Ruler of Japhailand. I would like to offer my greetings, and blessings upon all the nations within, the Western Isles.
As for me... I grew up a humble Iron worker, my parents both rice farmers in the hills of Japahailand. It was through strength, and fortitude that I ran for political office, when I turned, 26. Starting off in low level municipal governments making my way to the Ruler of Japahailand. Only, through stalwart perseverance I envisioned a brighter future for the country that I so love and admire.

My current age is 30, my qualities are calculated, head strong, trusting, honest, and blunt.

Hamish was sitting in the corner of the room, writing down stuff while listening to commentary of a domestic cricket match that was happening in the nation. He looked up from his papers and noticed the new delegates arriving. He quickly pulled the earphones out of his ears and began to speak.

"Arae (Gday) and Elcoué (Welcome) to the International District, esteemed representatives. Welcome Mr Antares, from Samudera and welcome to Mr Shinzumaki, ruler of the sovereign nation of Japhailand. I look forward to speaking to the two of you, may we begin?"

Hamish was gesturing at a binder folder, which one of his Federal Corporals quickly picked up as he began to walk over to the two representatives.

Henry took his steps into the International District. It was time Ploxenburgh revealed a new face, one that they would finally be more willing to see the world and open their borders. For a diplomat, the man was nervous. He was after all representing the entirety of Ploxenburgh and his leader Lewis Finch. An impression needed to be made.

Henry Huntsford strolled across the deck of the VMS Lode Park, gently rolling in the tide. The helicopter on the deck kicked up considerable prop-wash, giving his hair gel quite the challenge. His blue Hawaiian shirt was exposed by the blowing winds, blowing back his tan jacket and fluttering his khaki pants. He climbed awkwardly into the center seat of the back of the craft, followed by a man in an equally Miami Vice-like outfit, and carrying a handgun. The helicopter was white with a blue stripe, a large Verona Beach flag and letters emblazoned on each sliding door. These doors slowly and satisfactorily slid shut as the helicopter prepared for lift-off.
Henry fiddled with his belt as the helicopter jolted to liftoff.

It sailed above the sea towards the I.D. as the naval vessel began its slow course home. He watched out the window, anxiously.

Eventually, the skyscrapers and beaches of the District became visible. The craft dipped downwards towards a helipad, slowing.

It touched down with an ungraceful *thud* onto the pad. The guards stepped out first, followed by Henry.

He stepped out with an air of confidence and formality, an air that was not altogether real and was merely a construct of himself to hide his inner anxiety about his first overseas trip.

"We are running out of food, money, and support."
"I am well aware."
"And if we are unable to-"
"Listen, Andrew. At this point we have gone too far to start worrying now. We have already made promises to our constituents that we would try to gain recognition, we have already used one of our only ships to travel here, and we have already rewritten this speech 30 times, taking up valuable time in actually fixing our nation. If we turn back, we are guaranteed to be the gravediggers of the revolution. Now, let's try to get recognized."
As they enter the room, they approach what appears to be good position to speak from, and Maxwell begins to give his speech.
"I'd like to thank you all for giving us this opportunity to speak to the international community. But before I begin with describing the plight of our nation, do any of you have any questions?"

Ambassador Moba wiped her hands on the back of her dress. Today was going to be very stressful, and very important, and she was not looking forward to it.
"Myatu, what is my first meeting?" she asked her assistant, a short, energetic woman wearing heels that seemed to double her height.
"You are scheduled to attend a closed-door meeting hosted by The Free Land of Hutalu, Madam Ambassador," her assistant read from a paper.
Moba nodded, and smoothed the front of her dress. "Then let's make it a good meeting." She walked through the main doors and was immediately greeted by reporters covering the comings and goings of foreign leaders within the building. They asked frivolous questions as usual, and Ambassador Moba only answered two before she decided it was a waste of time.
"Ambassador Moba, is it a reflection upon the state of Imhlaba that you arrived here today in a boat, and not a plane? Is this a reflection upon the Imhlaban government's empty coffers?" one reporter asked.
Moba smiled dryly. "If you were the least bit observant, you would have noticed that today alone, four other nations have arrived by boat. The People's Electorate of Imhlaba is a maritime nation. We pride ourselves on our thriving sea industries, and we attempt to make every international trip by boat, if possible. This is not an indication of dry reserves, but of national pride."
Another reporter jostled to the front. "Madam Ambassador, is the fact that you are attending these meetings today, and not Elector Kuwani, an indication of his failing health?"
Moba sighed. "Once again, if you were in the least bit observant, you would have noticed that Elector Kuwani is very healthy, and made an appearance at a parade just yesterday. The Elector trusts me to handle all relations between other members of The Western Isles. Thank you, that is all the questions I will be taking today."
Moba left the crowd of reporters behind, and followed Myatu up a flight of stairs, and into a private presentation room, where eleven other delegates already sat, ready.
Ambassador Moba took her seat at the table just as the President of the Congress of Hutalu entered and took his spot at the podium.
Moba leaned back and whispered to Myatu, who was sitting behind her, "Take detailed notes. I am exploring a partnership with this nation, and I need to know as much about them as I can before I act."
President Doneit IV cleared his throat, and began his speech.
"I'd like to thank you all for giving us this opportunity to speak to the international community...."
