Aye, this was pretty much established the last time this discussion was had. Nothing is ever really decided in the Gameplay forum though.

BUT, the natives could have done things to prevent a raid such as:
a) Not letting their founder CTE
b) Passwording their region
c) encouraging more nations to endorse the delegate

And the defenders could have attempted a liberation or stopped the raid by moving in and endorsing the delegate like they usually would when we jump. But they didn't succeed at that, so it's a loss there.

This was an exhausting read... My two cents are as follows.

Neither raiders nor defenders won in Esquarium.
The natives won. The natives were victorious.

Defenders: Natives being the victors doesn't give you the right to claim victory if you didn't do anything to cause that victory. Your internet mini-game ideology has no bearing on it.
Raiders: When anyone is reminding you that you ended up losing, knowing that the founder would come back and beat you has, is, and will always be one of the shittiest excuses I've ever seen.

Manual triggering (for tag runs and ops) is hard work! The hard work eventually pays off, when you hit a huge majority of your targets in one update like they did last major. That number is indeed significantly (and objectively) impressive compared to other numbers.
