Hub - Conference Room
Jane looked at the woman looking at her, not liking the appearance of her stare. She calmed down slightly when she started to smile, but Jane was still on edge. "Confused?! That's not quite what I'd call it, how about utterly flabbergasted?" Jane said. The woman went on to explain how people were taken here through portals, which confused Jane even more. "Portals? But why? What made them?" The confused teen asked, sighing in frustration. Jane remained silent for several minutes, then she spoke again, mostly to herself.

"I've got to be dreaming. I'm going to wake up in my bed, and I wont be here. There won't be people after me either. Yeah..." Nothing. Jane growled. "Come on, wake up!" She exclaimed, slapping herself in the face hard. All that happened was she hurt herself, making her keep a hand on her now tender cheek. Marcus sighed; however only Jane would hear it. Oh now look what you did. He teased the girl, making her glare up at him. Shut it you! She said to him in her mind, earning telepathic chuckles from her guardian. Jane looked back at the woman. "Uh... What's your name? Mine's Jane." She said to her.

Enari
Hub Conference Room

While things were settling down in the conference room, Enari had written a new message on her notepad, paying attention to the comments of a "multiverse" and some event that had apparently brought everyone together. She stood up from behind the table she was previously taking cover at, holding the pad in front of her and looking around the room to mentally take note of who was here. The conference room wasn't getting crowded, per se, since it could definitely hold at least a few dozen people, but there were more and more strangers arriving, all of whom were vastly different in appearance and abilities. She wouldn't have necessarily said she was still worried, but this was certainly a situation to exercise some amount of caution in.

My name's Enari, for those of you who I haven't met yet.

I'm fairly sure that the path I used to enter this place (building?) was a static interdimensional portal of some sort. Your talk about a 'multiverse' with independent timelines seems to match up with that, at least a little. (I don't know about the equations on the consoles, though.)

Based on how close some of you got to killing each other, I'd probably assume most of us (including myself) aren't here intentionally. If we need to put someone in charge, I'd say we pick whoever knows the most about what's going on here.

You're saying this is a "space station"? I don't think I've ever heard of those. Are we in space right now?

Torii

Torii watched Jane, trying to convince herself that she was just going crazy. Torii thought she was crazy once. Well, she knew she was crazy. She also knew, however, that she wasn't seeing things at that moment.

"Portals.", She nodded. "For some. I recall my heart stopping. I don't remember how. I ended up here, however.", She said. "I should be dead."

She let the girl space out for the moment she did. She had dealt with stranger things, of course. She felt a bit sorry for the girl, and also sympathetic, with them being in the same shoes. Of course, there was also the shadow girl with the tablet, who apparently didn't speak. "Why don't we get her?", Torii nodded in the girl's direction. "We all seem to be in a tight spot, and we're apparently not here to kill each other like those space dunces across the room."

Conference Room
The Hub Station
Unknown Space

Vader listened to Revan's story, as well as Gaster's small speech, intently. He noted how the so called Master of the Order allowed Vader to probe his mind. Vader retracted his probe afterwards. Vader seemed intrigued that the Jedi would be so forgiving and welcoming of a former Sith Lord (which, a former Sith Lord was usually dead; never redeemed) into their ranks, let alone make him master of their Order. Vader seemed frustrated with this information; this only confirmed further what he thought to be true. Vader clenched and unclenched his fists, before settling on glaring at a wall, really, really hard.

“I have no idea the intentions or cause for why we were brought here, but I believe I know why none of us know of one another and why all of us feel like strangers or aliens to one another. Padme Naberrie, where I come from, is not a Jedi Knight, but a Senator in the Galactic Senate. Revan, you and your friend there don't exist. Or if you did, you were never as important as you were from where you are from. And for the rest of these Force blind beings? They likely come from places where we don't exist, either.

I don't know how exactly I ended up here, but I've overheard people speaking of strange devices or portals. Perhaps, I found one in Hyperspace. I do not know. But, it seems apparent to me that we have all been brought from where we came from and summoned here for a purpose that will probably be made known to us, if those who own this station indeed summoned us here. I am not proposing we were ripped from just our own respective planets or galaxies. No. This technology must be more ancient than that, because for any of this to be possible, we had to have been ripped from our respective universes - or perhaps, existences... or timelines. I do not know which for certain.

What I do know is that this means, whoever or whatever summoned us here, and whoever or whatever owns this station... their technology is far greater than either of ours. If they prove to be hostile, perhaps they rounded us up here to slaughter. Like bantha fodder. Or, if they are not, they wish to command us or use us in some other fashion, in which case, I believe it means we are being tasked with something the masters of this station cannot accomplish themselves.”, Vader finished his speech, hoping everyone nearby heard it; speaking up loud enough for everyone to hear, but keeping his voice level so as to not sound like he was yelling. Vader began thinking up strategies, in case the former was true and they were here to be slaughtered like bantha fodder. He did not want to die after all this.

Revan
The Hub
Conference Room

As Revan examined the strange console, he had difficulty in deciphering how the computer was supposed to function; as it was vastly more complex than even Rakatan technology, but as he examined the main terminal it looked like there was a port of some kind where a droid could interface with the system. As he did so, the Sith Lord Vader made a guess at why they might all have been brought to the station, to which Revan replied:

"A possibility, but I'd rather avoid speculating for the moment and try to get a definitive answer from the station's computer. Speaking of which..."

Revan remembered seeing a strange looking droid earlier when he entered the room, and when he found it he approached Jason and asked:

"Pardon me, but I found a port where a droid might be able to interface with that main terminal at the back of the room, and I was wondering if you'd be willing to give it a try. I could call up one of my droids if you'd rather not, but it'd take them awhile to get here, and given how...tenuous the peace is right now, I'd like to get answers as soon as possible before a fight breaks out and the computers wind up damaged or destroyed."

Rift carefully watched what was happening in the rest of the room. While he was foolish and reckless most of the time, when you were around as long as he had been, you knew to watch these situations carefully and position yourself to best take advantage. After reading Enari's tablet, he realized that while some others were likely smarter than him in the room, he probably knew the most out of all of them on what was going on right now. Strapping his gun over his shoulder, he waited for Gaster and Vader to settle down a bit and for Vader to finish his speech before standing atop a table and clearing his throat loudly so as to get the attention of everyone in the room.

Rift paced back and forth and said "The shadow lady over there, Enari is it?, is right. We need to stop fighting and begin to figure some serious shit out around here. I'll start us off, as I think I know a bit. As you ay have heard, My name is Rift, I'm a half-god from a place we call the "Nightverse". I think I know a bit of the story here. As Vader kindly explained, we are all from other universes. For those whose universes haven't completly figured that out, it's 100% true and it's not to be messed with, at least in my experience. Last time my universe tried it a lot of people became raped and filled with tentacles. But back on topic, around 1 million years ago, a new species suddenly arrived in my universe at the very edge of it. They are a robotic race called the Descendants. I don't know much about them other than their homeworld, they're nasty to fight, and that they don't like people defying them. I was recently attacked by them, claiming someone known as the Ascendants wanted me dead. Also, more importantly, they blew up my favorite bar, which is why I'm here. I traced them back to their base and fought my way through, til I found this weird glowy thing that brought me here."

"Now I know this might not explain a lot, but I'm definetly in another universe because this technology matches nothing within my own and is far, far, more advanced, which is really saying something.

Jason turned to see an eerie, but overall decent sounding man who referred to him as a droid, which he almost took offense to, we're it not for the fact the he was mostly sure that the man wasn't using it as a derogatory term. "Sure. I'll take a look. Call me Jason next time. I can promise you that I'm not a droid." He said and looked at the computer Revan was talking about and found the port. "Hmm. I hope I'm compatable..." He said and the tip of his left pointer finger opened up and revealed something akin to a sleek USB and inserted it into the port. As first nothing happened, but the port reconfigured and established a connection between the stations systems and Jason.

He jolted a bit. "This isn't like any system I've ever seen... It's like... Super fancy. All the bells and whistles. Bunch of the data is corrupted. I think I can salvage something..." He said and after a few seconds, several of the computers in the room whirred to life. "Here's we go... A VI? Let's see what we got here." He said and activated it. A bright blue holographic sphere appeared just above the group as Jason continued to explore and attempt to undo the damage as best he could. "Think they have not just a universal translator, but a Multiversal translator. That can only be useful."

"Greetings. I am the Virtual Intelligence guide to this Hub X04804. Warning, severe data corruption detected. Entities from various universes detected. I am programmed to answer your questions, but unfortunately, even with assistance from the Jason machine, it will take some time for my systems to be repaired. Until then I can answer any questions you may have to the best of my ability. You are in a Hub. Hubs are maintenence stations that maintain the structural integrity of the multiverse. Unfortunately, it seems that this station has been out of commission for some time likely weakening the integrity of the walls and causing the Quantum Conduits to open up. That is most of what I know. The data corruption is too severe."

"Damn straight it's severe. It's like some jackass took the Multiverse's biggest neodymium magnet and proceeded to beat the hardware with it!"

Sean

He cursed, something he rarely did. The Hazard team raised their rifles but he was a step ahead of them. Dropping to one knee he unslung the 116B and brought it to bare. Using the HUD built in to his eyepiece he sighted in the large, muscle covered thigh of the Ork.

He aimed just a bit lower. It was extreme close range for the Sniper rifle, but his aim was still true. He emptied his lung again. Time seemed to slow to a crawl as the cross hairs leveled on the Ork’s knee. He squeezed the trigger and felt the dampened recoil as the 10mm slug was fired and left the barrel, leaving a small trail in its flight path, it took less than a second for the round to impact and exit the knee. The Ork let loose a howl that resonated down the corridor. “You Bloody Git!” He never got to say the rest due to the Commissar’s power fist as it impacted the ork’s skull with a loud smack.

The impact sent the Ork’s head flying back and down, causing him to slam in to the floor plate. Seeing the next target, he dropped the rifle and drew his pistol as he got up to his feet. In the span of seconds that it took for the weight of the armored fist to throw the women off balance he had closed by just enough distance to get an assured shot. Squeezing the trigger again, he fired an orange stun bolt at the fist, hitting it in between the knuckles of the Index and middle fingers.

The Sudden feeling if numbness would spread through her hand, causing muscles and joints to relax, releasing her grip on fist and slipping off, only staying attached to her form due to the power line. Using the sudden shock of the shot as well as her loss of balance he dashed forward and drew the saber with his right hand, having transferred the pistol to his left, just as her free hand brought the glowing plasma pistol to bare on him.

Using the blade, he in a sense, parried the gun, moving its barrel away from his head. As her shot sailed past him to impact the wall some meters back he pivoted on his heel he spun his body 180 degrees and leveled the pistol at her throat, lodging the barrel under her jaw.
“Drop it, now.” He stared directly in to her eyes.

In as much time as it took for Sean to take out the ork and disarm Raege, Boone and Lancaster had their own firearms trained on Sean. They both started to faintly glow (especially Boone's eyes, which weren't faint at all), until Raege held up a hand. There would be no crushed Starfleet nuts today, nor chopped, nor lightly salted.

With a casual motion, she tossed the plasma pistol aside, over towards Boone, who placed her foot on it and reached to pick it up, but Raege shook her head.

Centre of Hell, Satan's Domain, IJ V61016
LORD ANNIHILATOR

You know, it's a really big deal when you are called directly by the man in charge of Hell himself for an emergency situation of this magnitude.

There could've been a million different possibilities as to why this happened, not to mention the millions of other hypothetical scenarios in each and every parallel dimension of this event. But it just had to be possibility number 1 this time, the absolute least likely out of millions of other scenarios that was the topic of his call. The big Devil man himself was in a crisis, and he needed help from the only person who wouldn't run away in horror by God's arch nemesis: LORD ANNIHILATOR. The call came at a terrible time, too. Right when the skeletal dimension-jumper was about to take some of that new promotional Szechuan Teriyaki nugget Dipping Sauce at his local fast food restaurant and have some of it in the privacy of the BONE ZONE, he got the call. He didn't really have a choice, either - it was more like he was obliged or forcefully asked to come rather than encouraged. Things felt as if he said "no" to the call, he would be having a very nice visit with some of Satan's big dogs - preferably the three headed one - and a very different lunch. Literally.

Paper bag in one hand and free hand outstretched in the other arm, Anni opened a glowing fold in the dimensional energy-filled zone between the dimensions, which led from the realm of the living to the Underworld, otherwise known as Hell. This inter-dimensional area, which existed between the dimensions, allowed him to accurately hop between locations both in different realms and the same realm, by opening a gateway to a certain location in said realm. Essentially this was fast travel, if you would, for situations when it would be apparently too slow to just use the Dimensional manipulation to perform a bootleg version of teleportation, something he wished he had. Either way, this was the only method of transportation that Anni had for long distance travel, and it would have to suffice for now.

The fold inbetween the dimensions appeared as an almost comical glowing ripple in space and time time to those viewing from the outside, whereas it to Anni it appeared as if he were just regularly floating around in the same world, albeit with a bit of a Sepia tone. LORD ANNIHILATOR entered real world right when he was indulging himself with one of the fried little nuggets and sauce in a greedy and overly hungry fashion, as if he hadn't eaten in ages. "Sucks that I can't taste this as well as others, but this sauce is epic," he told himself aloud, the legibility of his voice muffled by the sound of loud and obnoxious chewing of the processed chicken. He paused as he entered the building, raising an imaginary eyebrow.

'Huh? Where is he?' Anni stepped out onto the solid ground after crossing the icy field, to where the big man's even bigger throne usually resided over a pool of what appeared to be Liquid Nitrogen, from all the steam. 'I thought he told me we'd be meeting here an hour ago. Don't tell me the dude just fucked me over again...'

"...Anni? Uh.. I'm right here..." came a meek voice from behind LORD ANNIHILATOR. Practically whipping his head off his spine as he turned his head directly behind himself, Anni let out a hysterical laugh both of relief and humor as the rest of his body comically reoriented itself to face the king of the dead himself, Satan. The man was lying (more like cowering) in a makeshift bunker on the center of his humble abode, which usually would be flowing with a cool blue lava river around, thus adding to the steamy effect of the area. But, instead, it looked as if he had forgotten to do just that, and had instead hastily hidden himself from everyone. It seemed as if he were hiding from Anni as well. Odd.

"Evidently, you aren't doing a good job at hiding, boss. I mean, just look at you, man." Anni wrapped his skeletal hands around the side of the box, purple dimensional energy swirling in coils around where his biceps would be. With a single tug, Anni lifted the makeshift hovel of a shelter over the king of the underworld, sending it flying in the opposite direction as if there were no gravity in the abode. Extending a bony hand to the king of the dead, Anni helped his boss up onto his feet, sighing. "What kind of king of the dead does this? You're hiding. Whats up?"

"No shit, Sherlock Bones, you spiny fuck." Satan grunted, stretching as his full several dozen foot tall frame began to take up most of the room. "And I'm not hiding because I'm a coward, of course. I actually have a legitimate excuse as to why I'm hiding, thank you very much." This only made Anni chuckle even more as he folded his arms, looking up at the gargantuan horned demon taking up much of the room. "Alright then, what's your so-called legitimate excuse this time, boss? Someone got a bone to pick with you? Hiding from your ex Baphomet again? No, don't get me started... you lost a be-"

Anni felt himself freeze as Satan held a tank-sized palm out towards the Dimensional-manipulating skeleton, stopping him in his tracks as he saw an invisible wave cross over his body, similar to the effect of how heat waves rose off hot roads on scorching days. Anni chuckled awkwardly as he tried to keep a smile, looking up at the king of the underworld glaring down at him with equally menacing red eyes. "Okay... I felt that one tingle.. I'll stop."

"About time you did," Satan said, slouching back in his chair. "Pop up a seat, Anni. I'm going to give you the quick rundown of what's been going on. At least, what I've been hearing."

LORD ANNIHILATOR stretched his hand behind himself, finding a seat in the form of an average-looking wooden chair brought directly from the BONE ZONE. As he adjusted himself in his new chair, Satan began. "Things have not been going well lately, on my side of the world. Syria getting invaded by Russia and the U.S. was one thing, now we've got a completely new issue to deal with entirely. You see, us gods, we're all powerful and all, you know?" Anni leaned in as Satan paused for dramatic effect, before he continued. "Or, so we thought. At first it was the Kais who were disappearing, but then it got even worse. The ones up on Olympus, Asgard - hell, even the World Dragons are gone now. Everyone's dropping like flies left right, up, down, and on all three axes, Anni. I wasn't too concerned about this until this morning, when I hear that the big man upstairs himself, is gone. Entirely."

Anni practically choked on one of the nuggets as he heard this. This was outrageous! Gods like this wouldn't just flat up and out disappear like that. No god, who was thought to have unlimited power, could just die like that... could they? Hearing this information sent a bone-chilling shudder up Anni's spine as he more quietly stuffed a mouthful of nuggets into his mouth, chewing at a much more silent pace. "I'm listening..."

"Anni. I'm hiding from whatever is taking us Gods out of the picture. Who knows who could be next. Me? Most likely."

LORD ANNIHILATOR stood up, the chair falling over on the floor as he clenched the fast food bag tightly in one hand, the other to where his heart would be on his tunic. "I won't let you down, boss! I'm gonna find whoever or whatever's responsible for this and fuck their shit up! Mark my words, boss man, I'll be back home in time for the super bowl!"

As Anni prepared to exit, he heard another voice calling his name from behind his back - It was the same voice of the devil, only in a much more concerned voice. He stopped and turned around to listen to the voice, his face taking a much more serious and responsible tone than its usual goofy grin. "Be careful, Anni," he said. "I feel as if what's facing us is not only affecting me and our world, but anyone beyond even our world, if there is even a world beyond ours. Watch out for yourself back there, because you may be needed direly in facing what's causing all this. Now go!"

The skeleton gave a grin as he saluted the demon king, opening a tear in the dimensions behind him as he began backpacing towards it slowly. "I'll keep an eye out for anything suspicious, boss. Anything that comes across me the wrong way is not gonna be anyone's problem anymore. I promise."

As he stepped into the inter-dimensional plane and closed the tear, he could've sworn he heard the voice of Satan say once again, "I hope so." Anni just chuckled as he floated away from the Centre of hell, set on reaching the accessible entrance point between the world of the living, and the world of the dead. He promised that he'd be home by the Super Bowl, at the least. This wasn't a big deal as well; Anni had faced worse challenges on his way to his duel with the man himself, combined with a multitude of other jobs and hardships both before and after his battle. He was a hardened skeleton, and whatever was causing all these disappearances would have to watch out, he thought aloud, as LORD ANNIHILATOR was coming to get them. Besides, Anni thought to himself, floating to the gateway between his world and the living world.

What was the worst that could happen?

A few hours later, the absolute worst thing happened to Anni.

The worst thing that could've happened to him came in the form of an anomalous pulsating "blip" on the inter-dimensional plane, something that wouldn't go away even millions of miles away from it in New York City. Thankfully, the metropolis wasn't under attack by a giant monster this time thanks to a trio consisting of a golden-haired flying man, futuristic mech suit, and flying blond haired girl, but the blip still registered as visible even to Anni, whilst in the physical world. It had been bugging him for hours, producing just the slightest tingle in his his head every so often, also appearing as a visible flash of light off in the distance, similar to the effect of a sniper's scope glint whilst aiming at a target.

The ping sent a much larger vibration through Anni's body as he finally decided to stand up, moving away from the edge of the building where he was enjoying a meal accompanied by a live superhero vs. villain fight. The skeleton grumbled something audibly as he threw his meal off the edge of the World Trade Center, entering the inter-dimensional plane through the same portal he had come in from. This time, he thought to himself, I'm not bothering flying all the way over there. I'm gonna take a shortcut. Anni stuck his arm out of the little dimensional "current" that he was previously floating through, focusing in on the location of the ping's source, or, rather, around it, since he could not find a definite location to open up an exit way onto the site. Given how time wasn't necessarily much of an issue considering his current location, Anni effortlessly waded through the ongoing fight at the WTC and other buildings, his focus still on the pulsating ping in the inter-dimensional plane, thousands of miles away from him, yet still detectable.

Eventually, Anni decided to go with a location near the site, though not directly on it, such as the ground. He opened a portal to his right and proceeded to wade over it as if he were in a pool, while in the real world he clambered out of the hole as if he were exiting a frozen hole in a lake. Once he was fully out of said hole, it closed itself behind him as he began his approach to the anomaly, marked by a ubiquitous golden light that pierced the sky.

Anni prepared to open up the single, raggedy door of the abandoned building, which looked as if it had never been touched in centuries. His hand grasped the doorknob covered in a thick layer of dust and ashes, but the door was rock solid and would not budge. Deciding it was sealed in, Anni did the only thing he felt necessary to bypass this barrier: blowing it completely away. He took his beam sword from his hilt and, like a fencer, sent a thrust towards the doorknob. Only, it wasn't a thrust - it was a beam that hit the door and completely launched it off its hinges, causing it to land on the other side of the hovel with a loud thud. Anni entered through the smoking doorway, the only light being his purple glowing eyes, along with the now dimly glowing golden tower of light in the center of the building. It steadily gave off dimensional energy that, although it was in no intention to kill him, was detected to be thousands of times more powerful than Anni's own dimensional abilities. The only possible explanation behind this?

It has to lead somewhere. A random tower of Dimensional Energy in the middle of nowhere? Could it have been that certain someone forgetting on closing their dimensional gateway? Only one way to find out.

Upon entering the tubular tower, however, Anni found his feet leaving the floor as he began to fly upwards, rather than steadily floating upwards. The strange tower of energy even led outside of the planet, something Anni was not expecting to see, as he normally didn't go into space often for jobs like these. Anni saw planets fly past his face left and right, starting with Mars first and foremost, then ending with, of course, Neptune. However, they did not exactly exit his peripheral vision, as the world began to stretch and wrap itself around Anni and his little tubular gateway as he continued traveling upwards at ludicrous speeds. Well, there was no real up, given that they were in space... Or, so he thought.

Looking upwards, Anni squinted his eyes and focused in on what he could make out as a large structure not too far off in the distance. Only, to his eyes, he could make it out as what appeared to be an object with a bunch of holes in it, on all sides and in all directions. This was a three-dimensional representation of a four-dimensional structure, which Anni was heading straight for.

The hilt of his sword suddenly began moving slowly upwards, as if it were being gently pulled on by an invisible hand. Along with this, Anni's signature blue scarf also began to behave the same way, to his surprise. Things began to make much more sense now as he realized his current situation.

Hold on... This is... This is wrong. Wait a second. I'm not moving upwards..

Tucking his upper body in and flipping to where his legs were pointing the sky, instead of his head, Anni saw that his hilt and scarf had began to fold down in a fashion more of where he was moving downwards, rather than it behaving as if an invisible hand were tugging on it. His eyes widened as he rapidly flapped his hands and legs, in a futile attempt to stabilize himself.

I... I'm FALLING up! Oh, what the hell- how am I going to get out of this?! Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit....

Looking downwards, Anni shouted out in surprise as the entire world around him began flying past, as if it were on a looped film reel sped up to its maximum speed. He had just plummeted into one of the holes littering the four-dimensional structure, with all visible exit ways around him flying past at what he guessed to be Mach 11 or higher. Cursing aloud once more, Anni looked downwards at his feet, expecting his eternal cycle of falling and screaming to go on forever with no visible end in sight. Only, the literal light at the end of the tunnel seemed to not be getting further from his position, but rather, closer. In a hysterical fit of laughter, Anni realized what this incoming wall of light was - a dimensional exitway. And a rather ubiquitous one, at that. Anni flipped himself back to falling headfirst (which he would soon regret in a couple of seconds), attempting to swim closer to the incoming wall of light. I'm going to get out of here - I'm alive..!

The last thing LORD ANNIHILATOR saw as he entered the wall of light and blacked out, was what he could just register to be the top of.. another skeleton's head..?

Doctor W.D Gaster
Hub Conference Room

As soon as Jason managed to activate the VI of the Hub, Gaster rose out of his seat in pure fascination of the Artificial Intelligence that had just been activated "Incredible, is that an Artificial Intelligence Unit?!" Gaster's eyes brightened up at the scientific potential of this AI. However, the Royal Scientist did not have much time to stare in fascination of the Ai before a force on top of him sent him crashing down to the ground in shock. "What in the name of Asgore?!" Gaster exclaimed as he squirmed slightly underneath the unconscious frame of Lord Annihilator. Gaster expected that more people would be arriving, but not landing on him as if he were a cushion! Gaster huffed with annoyance as he summoned the Teal Hand from his arsenal, five energy strings emerging from their fingers and wrapping themselves around Anni before lifting him up off of the Royal Scientist. "Is this a skeleton?" Was what first came to Gaster's mind as the teal strings dissipated, allowing Lord Annihilator to fall backwards onto a waiting seat that caught his fall. WingDing was intrigued now, a skeleton from another Universe? Perhaps anything else could happen at this point he figured.

Gaster stared down at his black wrapover trenchcoat, wiping off the residue that had gathered on it after Lord Annihilator had fallen right on top of him "How embarrassing." Gaster sighed to himself "Hey, wake up." Gaster said to the unconscious skeleton, shaking him slightly in order to wake him up from his unconscious state, his attention to the VI being diverted for a moment before he turned back to the holographic projection of the VI "Virtual intelligence." Gaster announced to the holographic projection, turning his attention to the Virtual Intelligence of the Hub once more "I would like to know who were your creators if at all possible, as well as how and why this station has been in a state of abandon for as long as it has been."

Vader listened as the VI explained the situation. Oh. Perfect. Just great. So, apparently, they probably weren't even summoned here - it was just a major glitch in the system at a weakpoint in the fabric of the multiverse. Fantastic. Vader had to suppress the spike of rage that filled him; the Darkness flaring around him slightly, but remaining tame... for now. Vader walked closer to the VI, his eyes narrowed slightly.

“Who do you serve? Who created you? And do try and figure out what could have caused... this. I wish to know that as well.”, Vader attempted to ask. But most of it came out more as a command. Vader was used to being the one above who commanded, and anything below him or what he believed to be below him was there to obey. That's all there was to it, for him. Vader was not used to the idea of having to cooperate, nor did he want to... but if it came down to working with Jedi, or working with strangers and aliens, he would gladly work with the Jedi. Vader also considered looking for the other humans he had sensed from the larger ship at some point, unless they found him first.

Raege nodded, and Boone and Lancaster (reluctantly) lowered their weapons, but neither holstered them. Lancaster looked as cuddly as usual. Boone looked like she was trying to decide whether or not she should shoot the ork anyway.

"Well, you seem human, and those other soldiers seem human if a bit primitive, and all of your weapons seem human if a bit strange, and your uniforms seem human if a bit odd, so I personally see no reason to not work together. And none of you seem to be worshippers of Chaos, which is even better for all of us in my eyes."

She returned to a full standing position - she had been crouching somewhat when Sean had put the phaser to her throat.

"The ork, however, is a problem. I'm not sure he's even smart enough to consider the idea of working alongside humans, let alone entertain accepting it. And I don't think I or any of my men would be big fans of it either."

"My corruption is too deep for me to recall that information. My systems will need time to repair themselves." The VI explained. "I apologize for the inconvenience." Jason managed to disconnect himself and stood back up. "Perhaps those with technical prowess could expedite the process."

"This is some freaky tech. The VI isn't lying. Most of it's all garbled. I couldn't get much. Though that may have to do with compatibility issues. I've never seen designs like this before." He said making sure that the connection didn't give him a virus or something. Nothing malicious was detected. "I could probably help. Maybe. I've got some tools on my ship, but if something needs replacing, again, this tech is pretty up there. I don't even think the Collective has this kind of tech..." Something about always a bigger fish. Mildly disconcerting, but then again, it was supposed to be a hub for the multiverse. So it made sense. "

"I can however, offer you a tour of the Hub, should you wish to stay of course. It is fully equipped with an armory, personal quarters, a hanger, a conference room, a bar slash mess hall, and an infirmary. I believe I can get the signs back online in a moment." The VI stated as several lights flickered a bit before staying on, with one on the wall having a digital map detailing the locations that the VI stated. "Please help yourselves to any of the supplies that are still function or healthy for consumption.

The Hub, Conference Room
LORD ANNIHILATOR

A minute or so after LORD ANNIHILATOR blacked out from the intense G-forces of his worryingly fast descent and subsequent impact, he found himself being shook awake by a calm and comforting masculine voice urging him to wake up. First, only one eye socket lit up with his signature glowing purple eyes, but as he became more accustomed to his surroundings, both eyes equally lit up with the same purple light as he slowly stood up, grunting. Anni at first didn't seem to notice the other skeleton, only groggily yawning as he looked around the area, but soon he became completely aware of his surroundings as the realization swept over him. He turned around to the skeleton whom he would soon know as W.D. Gaster, With a nicer and more formal attire than his own, Anni could only assume that this Skeleton had some high position, yet, he looked extremely different and far more... soft looking, than most skeletons Anni knew. In fact...

Anni quickly ventured over to one of the windows of the room, where he could visibly see his reflection. Damn. I need a shower soon. With all this dirt and whatnot on me, I look as if I just murdered someone..

ANNIHILATOR's attention switched from his reflection back to Gaster, where he ventured over to the skeletal scientist, intrigued, while impressed at the same time. It even took Anni a while to stop eyeing the skeleton up and down, in interest. A skeleton? Out here? Unless there were skeletons beyond his world, Anni had never expected there to be another skeleton outside of hell, let alone here, of all places. If there was a skeleton here, then there'd be skeletons elsewhere, let alone other weird occurrences like this.

Damn. Extra-dimensional travel is weird as hell. After scanning the room for a moment, Anni simply deduced that, of course, he was not, well. Home. He couldn't feel the normally overarching presence of a God or Satan around him, not to mention that he was in outer freaking space for crying out loud. Additionally, everyone here looked to be a bunch of either misfits or ridiculous-looking superheroes. Taking a look around the room once more, Anni's eyes met everyone that he could initially see at first. "Okay.. Lets see. Headcount. We've got.." His eyes darted over what appeared to be a metallic humanoid he swore he'd seen someplace else, with two swords sheathed on his back. "A robotic ninja... Nice.." Whipping his head directly to the right, his eyes locked onto a hooded figure in a mask talking about tentacles and whatever a "nightverse" was. Anni quickly took a few step backs away from this man, where he swept over to two more individuals in the room. One was a man near the previously-dubbed "robo-ninja" wearing an ornate mask and robes, whilst another was a tall, pale man in a caped, black suit. Anni decided the best option was to stay away from the latter and more towards the other skeleton in the room.

The others in the room consisted of a short, probably 20-something year old woman with snowy white hair and striking sky blue eyes, along with a pitch black silhouette of a woman that Anni would've normally mistaken as a lost denizen of Hell, were it not for the constant flow of strange energy that Anni could just sense (figuratively, not literally), off this woman. There was also the 15 year old girl in the room that-

"Hold on. What?" LORD ANNIHILATOR swept over to Gaster in an instant, leaning in close to the skeleton scientist as if he and Anni were already friends. "I don't know about you, uh.. I'l get to your name later, but I'm pretty suspicious about little girl over there," Anni pointed a bony index finger over to the girl in the corner, whom luckily didn't seem to notice. "I mean, the last time I heard about a suspicious little girl was when I was talking to my buddy Des, apparently he was burning in hell for looking at a little- you know what? You tell me if you have had any crazy experiences with strange kids later. I need to figure out where I am, and I'm getting way off topic, man." Pausing for a moment, Anni turned back to his bony companion. "I'm LORD ANNIHILATOR, by the way. Yeah. All caps. Kinda like I'm yelling my own name, while at the same time just saying it normally. You can just call me Anni, for short. What about you, LORD...?"

Anni paused, taking a step back. Was this skeleton even a... well.. on the whole "LORD ____" gang? In Anni's opinion, he looked as if he were Satan's accountant or scientist, to be perfectly honest. Maybe, however, this gang of misfits was here fore a different reason. Perhaps they could've been called here, or, at least, arrived here, for the same reason he had: The gods had been disappearing, and someone had to step up.

Once Gaster had finished speaking to the Virtual Intelligence, Anni took a step forward, volunteering to speak next. "Yeah, uh, hi? My name's LORD ANNIHILATOR and, uh, I have no idea why the hell I'm here. I too want to know why I'm here and, hell. I wanna know why all of us are here - just all of us. Why us?"

Hub - Conference Room
Jane listened quietly as the strange robot man plugged himself into the computer. Apparently this place was called The Hub, which was meant to keep the Multiverse together. Jane had no clue what it meant by "multiverse", but Marcus did. Incredible, multiverse theory is true! But who created this place? And when was it made? Thought the Psymorph, making Jane roll her eyes. Does it really matter? We're stuck here with a bunch of people who are on the verge of killing each other! I don't like it here... Jane thought to Marcus, causing him to place a comforting three-fingered hand on her shoulder.

No harm will come to you Jane. I promise. The Psymorph assured the girl, making a small smile appear on her face. Thanks Marcus. Jane thought, earning a nod from her guardian. Suddenly, another skeleton man literally fell into the group's presence, falling on top of Doctor Gaster. "Another one?! How many people are there on this thing now?" Jane asked the woman next to her with a look of confusion.

Then, much to Marcus's annoyance, the AI told the group that it couldn't say who created it due to it's corruption. Marcus sighed. Of course... Oh well, I will discover the answer eventually. He thought. Jane never understood Marcus's desire to learn and explore, as she was perfectly content to simply stay at home in her bed and listen to her music. The Psymorph had always tried to get her out and about, but most of the time she simply ignored him.

Just then, a map appeared on the wall, leading to different locations of the hub. This station seems to be quite large. That is a good thing I suppose, as we may quickly run out of room if people keep showing up like this. Marcus thought to Jane, making her nod. I'd rather not stay here Marcus. We need to get home. She thought to him. The Psymorph tilted his head in confusion at the girl. Why? In case you've forgotten, we are being hunted there. At least here we are- "How can you think I've forgotten?!" Jane suddenly blurted out, not realizing that she didn't think that.

She awkwardly looked at the group of people around her, who must have been surprised by her suddenly yelling at seemingly nobody. Perhaps the new skeleton had reason to be suspicious of Jane after all?

Captain Quake | Captain Calamity
The Hub Infirmary

The younger brother of Quake kept getting flashbacks to the brawl they just came out of, the two of them against one of the most powerful Parahumans on the planet. As Calamity dug through the medical cabinets, tossing aside unneeded remedies and bottles labelled in alien script, he was growing more desperate. Quake on the other hand was laying upon an examiners table, clutching his side and putting a momentary stop the bleeding. Before their sudden arrival in the Hub, the two brothers were locked in combat with a man known as Epic. Powered by the sun and able to completely dominate a fight, Calamity and Quake were unsure of their victory, as the Quantum Conduit opened as Quake delivered a titanic, earth-shattering blow directly against Epic, yet Epic had scored enough hits on Quake to render him seriously injured prior.

"It's all written in gibberish." Calamity said calmly, acting cool under pressure as Quake closed his eyes and grit his teeth. Deciding on doing what he could with what he knew, Calamity grabbed some rolls of gauze and tape, hurrying over to Quake and delicately removing the armor over his chest. "How bad is the pain, Quake?" Calamity asked tenderly, cleaning the hole in Quake's side with dabs of paper, wetting it with what he assumed was alcohol, and gingerly laying over patches to seal the wound off. Through it all, Quake grunted and hissed with pain, but remained sitting upright as a testament to his durability.

"Oh yeah," Quake said through clenched teeth, "It really fucking hurts. Like a lot." Calamity began to wrap gauze around Quake's midsection tightly, closing the wound off from the outside world and letting nature run it's course. There really wasn't much else either of them could do, it was a wound that was torn open by pure force from Epic, and discounting internal injuries or bleeding, Quake should recover eventually. "No pain killers?" Quake asked, his brother shaking his head to the side. "Just where the hell are we, then?"

As he spoke, power came to the infirmary, startling the two, but neither wanted to investigate further. Calamity took a seat near his brother, breathing deeply and sliding his helmet off. He too was injured, but Calamity was well enough to tend to Quake rather than himself for now. The brothers rested, knowing that if anyone or anything came, they would need to be a little bit more energized to put up some resistance. After some time, however, automated medical instruments began to whiz and whirl, jarring Calamity from the fatigue-induced sleep he had drifted off into. Quake was lying still on the table, a number of thin metallic arms poking and prodding at Quake, having already removed Calamity's sloppy bandage job and already set to work literally soldering his open wound.

Calamity watched intently, making sure the robot was just fixing Quake instead of harvesting his organs or something more sinister. At the end of the brief operation, one of the metallic arms injected Quake with a brilliant green liquid, causing the Captain's breathing to accelerate rapidly, the colored liquid finding it's way to the closed injury and brilliantly illuminating his veins and arteries, rapidly healing the man back to manageable health. A pair of pincers dropped a pill into Calamity's hand, who swallowed it whole, feeling immensely better as it settled in his stomach. A feminine robotic voice spoke to them soon after though, Quake sitting up after the intensive surgery. "Other sentients have gathered in the Conference Room, and a tour of the facility is beginning soon. Please make your way to the group."

"...Group?" The two brothers said, giving each other the same confused look.

Revan
The Hub
Conference Room

Revan watched closely as the droid, who was evidently not a droid, called Jason interfaced with the computer terminal. Considering how quickly he was able to access the data, Revan could understand why he didn't want to be called a droid; he was certainly more advanced that any droid Revan had ever seen. Soon, Jason managed to access a VI and activate it. The VI informed them that the station they were on was called a "Hub," which apparently was some sort of maintenance station that maintained the structural integrity of something called the "multiverse." Revan wasn't certainly precisely what that meant, but it certainly sounded important. The VI then proceeded to inform them that the weakening of the walls' integrity caused the opening of some sort of "Quantum Conduit;" perhaps the name of the construct the Ebon Hawk had passed through to arrive at this Hub.

Unfortunately, the VI was heavily damaged, and, as Vader soon learned firsthand, was unable to answer much else without first being repaired. It was able to bring up a digital map of the Hub however, and when it finished outlining the different sections of the station, Revan stated:

"Excellent work getting that VI online, Jason. Now let's see if we can't figure out how to repair it." Revan turned to address the VI "VI, can you highlight the locations of the damaged systems on that digital map? Any information you can provide on how we can repair your damaged systems would also be quite helpful."

"You," he said, pointing at Raege (which she did not appreciate, I can say) "follow us. We're heading deeper inside this facility, figuring out what the hell's going on."

His statement, however, the commissar could find no fault in.

"Come on, Boone, Lancaster. We're going."

They both voiced their approval in their different (though no less effective) manners, and thus the group walked on to the conference room.

Which they found in something resembling chaos thinly masked by order, involving that Darth Vader person from earlier, some other people with similar equipment, a... Necron? No, it was a robot but clearly not Necron in nature, Necrons looked like emaciated robo-Egyptians. Oh, and a talking skeleton with holes in its hands.

In perfect unison, Boone and Raege opened up their flasks and poured their contents out on the floor.

Vice Admiral Kerensky
Bridge
U.S.S. Elysium Fields
Unknown Space

The U.S.S. Elysium Fields moved forward at three-quarter impulse power. The ship, and all of Task Force Epsilon, ran dark and silent except for the Elysium Fields broadcast of friend or foe towards the unknown structure. As the taskforce’s trajectory cleared them of the planetoid, the ship’s sensor array had a clean line of site to analyze the unknown contacts.
“Sir, we have cleared the interference from the planetoid,” Patterson announced. “Multiple contacts around a central facility, some sort of station or hub. On screen.”

The main view screen chirped and the image zoomed in on the large structure. Multiple docking bays could be seen, one appeared damaged by fire. A large triangular starship, easily a kilometer long with a towering superstructure was visible at the station. Everything was alien in nature except one.
“Sensors are distinguishing contacts, sir...” Lieutenant Vega paused and looked at her readings again. “Sir, detecting multiple starships, unknown configuration, unknown technology. Sir there’s a Sovereign class vessel among them.”

“Federation, here?” The curiosity in the Vice Admiral’s voice piqued, “Registry and identification?”

“Scanning. Sir, NC-2452-C, U.S.S. Black Prince, Vice Admiral Sean Dunaway is the listed commander.” Lieutenant Vega paused for a moment as she consulted the readings. “Natasha, are you getting these same scan results?”

“I am.” LtCmdr Patterson sounded slightly intrigued, “That isn’t a standard cruiser sir, she’s heavily refit.”

Kerensky was now very interested. Alien vessels and an unusual variant of Starfleet’s poster-child starship? “Analysis?”

“I’m reading modified anti-proton systems, doesn’t look Starfleet in origin, seems third party. Also limited Borg technology.”

“Borg?” Kerensky shifted in his seat and was suddenly much more serious in his tone. “Details?”

“Experimental technology sir, I can’t be certain but this looks similar the modifications we’ve seen on some of the major task force ships in the Borg offensive, I believe it’s a cutting beam.”

“Life signs? Confirm that is not an assimilated ship…”

“Not reading Borg sir, humans and various other races. Also, reading Tricobalt warheads aboard and their shield array is stolen Reman technology- it’s a covariant shield array.”

“Most impressive,” Kerensky remarked as he stroked his goatee. “Our Vice Admiral Dunaway seems to have been most busy with his crusades against the Borg; that’s quiet the vessel.” He paused for a moment analyzing the screen, “and the station?”

“Nothing yet sir, its of a completely alien configuration; I’m not sure of the technology. It appears to have an immense network of power systems and circuitry. It is the same material that the gateway was constructed of.”

“Seems like a control center or hub for whatever brought us here,” Captain Romanov stood up. “Life forms on the station?”

“Reading multiple lifeforms, some human, others unknown.” Patterson pulled up a very generic schematic that the scans had generated. “It appears most of the lifeforms are centered around a control or meeting room of some sort.”

“Why do I get the feeling we are late to a party?” Kerensky had a look of intrigue on his face, “send Starfleet challenge to the Black Prince, confirm their identity. Open a hailing frequency to the station, all channels, all languages, all frequencies.”

Lieutenant Vega tapped her consul, “hailing frequency open, sir.”

Kerensky stood and took a step towards the view screen, “this is Vice Admiral Kainos Kerensky of the Federation starship Elysium Fields broadcasting on all channels. We have recently engaged a hostile Borg force and were transported through some gateway. We are seeking contact with whatever life forms are aboard these vessels and this station. Again, this is Vice Admiral Kerensky of the Elysium Fields on all channels, please respond.”

Revan
The Hub
Conference Room

"I can provide you with the locations of the damaged systems" the VI replied to Revan's request, while highlighting a number of locations on the digital map "However my internal diagnostic systems have also been damaged, and I am unable to ascertain the exact extent of the damage to each system, or how best to repair them."

"Most unfortunate." Revan replied. "But at least we know where the damaged systems are; we'll just have to try and repair them as best we can. I recommend we separate into groups and each address a different system; it appears that there is at least one damaged system in every major area of the station, so we should make certain that at least one person heads to each area. If anyone has anymore questions for the VI, I suggest asking them now; although it seems unlikely it will be able to answer any questions in its present state, otherwise we should all get started on those repairs."

As Revan finished making his suggestions to the group, the VI suddenly stated:

"Notice: an unknown vessel is attempting to contact the Hub."

"Seems we have another new arrival." Revan stated. "Can we respond to them?"

"Yes, however video communications are among the damaged systems, so a response will have to be audio only."

"Understood" Revan replied. "Put the vessel through."

With that, the VI opened audio communications, and the incoming message played over the conference room speakers stating:

Immensia wrote:“this is Vice Admiral Kainos Kerensky of the Federation starship Elysium Fields broadcasting on all channels. Revan was unfamiliar with the "Borg" the Vice Admiral mentioned, but if these people had recently been in a fight with them, they might have been damaged. Revan replied:

"Vice Admiral, this is Jedi Master Revan aboard the station, do you require assistance?"

Lia.

Things had been…boring, again. The bridge was largely quiet as the ship’s crew went about getting her up and running. They had to replace one of the ship’s bio-neural gel packs with one of their few replacements on hand, which had required them to shift coms to emergency power as to not burden the system.
“Ma’am!” The officer behind her called out. “We are being scanned, can’t pick up from were.” The Navigation officer spoke up next. “Ma’am, new contacts, unknown class, but the tech suggest ours.”

The view screen shifted to the small outlines of the new arrivals and Lia’s eyes narrowed. She hadn’t seen that class of ship since…since the sphere. “That’s an Arbiter II…thought they were still in testing.”

“Ma’am, they’re sending us a hail.”
Vice Admiral Kerensky of the Elysium Fields on all channels, please respond.”

She keyed in an encrypted channel and spoke. “Admiral, this is Lieutenant commander O’Brennan, acting commander of the Black Prince. Us as well as the other vessels present were all here have been seemingly brought here without apparent reason. As it stands none of them are hostile, but the vast differences in style and design suggest…greater things at play.”
She closed the mic and turned to one of the deck officers. “Info on Admiral Kernsky?” The man replied without looking back at her.

“Most of its classified, would need the captain’s override code to get it, but he seems to be a section spook.

She frowned.

Journal Entry Eighteen: Multiverse Theory

Postby The Fallen Jedi » Sun Apr 09, 2017 6:53 pm

Doctor W.D. Gaster
Gaster's Personal Quarters

Gaster let out a sigh of relief as he slumped down on the Leather Chair in his quarters, he wasn't physically drained, but just glad that he now had some peace and quiet in his own little bubble as he was not a very social person when his mind was preoccupied on discovering new things. "For grown ups, they really do act like children at some point." Gaster muttered as he scooted his leather chair to the Vantablack Desk that lied at the left side of his quarters, placing his arms on the table and intertwining his fingers together as he closed his eyes and tried to bring at least some of his composure back to him "I have work to do." The Royal Scientist reminded himself, reaching into his pockets and bringing out both his trusty pen and his research journal. This was where Gaster shined, his research was what helped creating many beneficial things for the Underground during his early days as a scientist, such as coming to discover the Void (Journal Entry 17), and was paramount to the development of the Core, Gaster's ultimate creation and while he ultimately fell through it the Core also helped bring power to the entire Underground!

"Journal Entry Eighteen..." Gaster began writing down "Multiverse Theory, believe it or not is actually real! Waking up on a Space Station now known only as the Hub has helped me open my eyes to the fact that there lies a Universe beyond my own and Interestingly enough that these other Universes do not follow the same logic from our original one." Gaster was especially intrigued by the fact that other Universes may or may not follow a strictly adhered timeline "There is a lack of SOUL Magic in other Universes as compared to ours, and there are also others far more advanced than our own with some gaining Interstellar Flight Capabilities and others containing Sentient Automatons beyond my own comprehension. Shockingly enough however, this current Universe, which will now be known as Universe Alpha O-1 does not follow a timeline nor has there been a sign of individuals capable of resetting the Time-Space Continuum..." Gaster paused for a moment, his research into timelines yielded results that only humans with a sufficient amount of DETERMINATION had the capability to restore time to a certain moment prior to a change taking place to said individuals.

"Is it possible that humans in this Universe, or other Universes are incapable or have an insufficient amount of Determination to affect the flow of Time in their respective Universe?Additional research will be needed in order to see if this is the case. On a side note, I have discovered that my family are not the only Skeletons that have a form of life within them, a being known as Lord Annihilator, or Anni for short has refuted my suspicions that only my Universe can host live Skeleton specimens, I will continue to determine if other skeletons will pop up among our little Multiverse Group. Additional notes shall follow in future Journal Entries." Gaster had unknowingly tensed slightly as he concluded his journal entry. Allowing his body to loosen up, Gaster reclined on the leather chair, he was rather curious to learn where his research could take him now for he had very little information about the space that surrounded his Universe and now here he was on a Space Station writing notes about a previously hypothetical Multiverse Theory, being excited was not enough of a word to describe how Gaster was feeling! "I just can't wait to see what my cohorts have to say about such a discovery, they're going to be estatic!" The Royal Scientist smiled to himself as he stared up to the roof of his humble abode.
