They could be rebellious faction that was split into the fay territories of Svartalfheim, and Alfheim around the time the Fay inflicted damage in Northern Europe on raiding human settlements. The Fay elves leader is Morthil Roleth but was killed and ever since Svartalfheim, and Alfheim have fought in endless strife and at time brief times of civil war. The argument between two fay elf faction argue that a chosen one born of Morthil Roleth's blood with unite the two elvish faction but so far many that have made the claim turned out to be false. Thus why King Oberon rules over them to contain the feud and stands by they need no heir to unite them because they are better of under Fay rule but even though the two elvish factions wish to united or independent their attempts over the centuries have proven to be failures.

Let me know what you think.

Faction: Fay Elves

Postby Flarbinia » Tue Mar 21, 2017 1:01 pm

A coalition of Fay city-states that gained semi-autonomy in the 12th Century, the Fay Elves excel as merchants, exchanging silver weapons and elegant jewelry for silk, spices, and other goods that cannot be found, grown, or manufactured in the Fay Empire. Lead by Trade Prince Morthil Roleth, the Fay Elves have managed to maintain their prosperity and limited autonomy through the accumulation of wealth from the sale of foreign goods. However, while the Fay Elves are able to make trade agreements without the approval of the ruler of the Fay Empire and are exempt from tariffs, they are still affected by the decisions of King Oberon. Their citizens still have to serve in the military during times of war, the Fay elves cannot trade with a nation that is at war with the Fay Empire or has declared an embargo, they still have to pay taxes, and they have to obey the laws passed by King Oberon. With the borders of the Fay Empire closed to outsiders due to the crisis in North America and the resulting shortage of imported goods, the Fay Elves are facing their greatest challenge.

Change Fay Elf to Fay (Elf), change knife to sword (that is definitely a sword in the picture), remove either, change "Upon capture when he was 10 years old for trading with a nation at war for helping his father and mother" to "Upon being captured for smuggling weapons to the other side", and replace spy with Seer. Those are the only problems I have with this APP.

Major characters play important roles that are crucial to the plot. Minor characters have smaller roles, but their actions still impact the story, albeit not as much as the major characters.

Update For All Players

Postby Flarbinia » Sat Mar 25, 2017 7:04 pm

The zombies will overrun Guatemala, Greenland, and Iceland in Chapter Two, but those will not be the only important events that will occur in that chapter. Expect to see blood, guts, gore, sex, violence, drama, and the occasional cannibalism scene. Everyone with weak stomachs, you've been warned.

Saraugug the Slaughterer

Postby Flarbinia » Tue Mar 28, 2017 10:21 pm

Name: Saraugug the Slaughterer
Age: 40 (physical)
Gender: Male
Description (height, weight, hair color, etc.): Green skin. Long brownish-black hair
Image (optional): https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/or ... 9cc7aa.jpg
Personality: Spiritual. Stubborn. Berserker
Backstory: A shaman who was granted lordship of Iron's Peak, the most heavily guarded debtor's prison in the Fay Empire, as a reward for slaying an entire legion of Dwarves with a captured cannon during the Battle of the Bloodstone Fields, Saraugug the Slaughterer is not an Orc anyone wants to mess with. Born into the White Hand Tribe a century before the Orcs and other non-Elven Fay that inhabited Svartalfheim were officially and formally absorbed into the Fay Empire, Saraugug the Slaughterer grew up with the constant risk of being killed by the many enemies his tribe faced on a daily basis, whether it was Trolls, Goblins, Hobgoblins, Gorgons, or the occasional Great Spider that stumbled upon his village while migrating to the coast for the winter.

As a teenager, he participated in a raid against a Fay supply convoy, mercilessly butchering the most heavily armored guards like they were cattle in a slaughterhouse, earning the nickname "Slaughterer". After decades of raiding Elven supply lines and proving himself as a great warrior, Saraugug the Slaughterer was approached by King Oberon and given the same offer he gave to the other non-Elven Fay who lived in Svartalfheim: bend the knee and he will be sent into battle against foes superior to his current adversaries. Being a berserker who had grown bored with attacking heavily guarded caravans, Saraugug the Slaughterer gladly accepted without hesitation, the rest of the tribe following suit.

The Orcs fought Dwarven cohorts with stone axes and primitive magic and crude bows, many meeting their end at the swords, halberds, muskets, and cannons of their opponents while others simply bled to death in fields of snow from their injuries. After the Fay War ended with the defeated Fay army retreating back to their empire, Saraugug the Slaughtering, having become the leader of several tribes that had lost their chieftains in battle, immediately assumed his position as Lord of Iron's Peak, sending officers who proved themselves incompetent and debtors who were more trouble then they were worth to the groves that the Giant Spiders that had migrated to the coast for the winter had turned into temporary lairs.
Race: Fay (Orc)
Skills: Martial arts. Shamanism
Powers: Manipulation of the five Chinese classical elements (metal, wood, water, fire, and earth)
Equipment: Shamanistic headdress. Looted armor. Dwarven Warhammer

Tag. Question.

In this are Dwarves still considered to be masterful engineers? If that's the case, what equipment would be acceptable for a Dwarven character to have given the current year, as well as Dwarven melding of engineering and technology?

Yes. As for equipment, A Dwarf who does not hold tradition in high regard can use assault rifles, shotguns, and other modern firearms that is portable enough for a single soldier to use (whether manufactured by the engineers guild in Niðavellir or by humans if living in exile in North America) while a traditionalist is limited to weapons that were used during the Renaissance by their own volition.

The zombie virus is a plague of unknown origin, not some gypsy curse or the wrath of Azathoth or the creation of a doomsday cult. It is not an alien bio-weapon unleashed by a terrorist organization and there is no secret society hoping to trade the non-existent cure for world domination. I am sorry if you are disappointed by this answer.

Okay I kind of like what you are doing with the zombie virus.

So let me pin this down. The zombie virus is the enemy. So its a virus but perhaps some micro organism based creature that needs a host to survive thus turning that individual into a zombie. Its not some curse or wrath or creation of a doomsday cult. No bio weapon either. So its a basically living entity in this universe. Perhaps one of the oldest creatures at the turn of creation when the universe was formed. Though still unknown about its origins where it came from. Am I close on this?

Walking Death Symptoms

Postby Flarbinia » Thu Apr 06, 2017 11:31 am

The zombie virus (which is harmless without a host or the bodily fluids and/or organs of the host), referred to as the Walking Death by superstitious mortals, has been around since 60,000 B.C. (I refuse to use the white washed sugar coated watered down "PC" system of labeling years), making it older than recorded history. It takes Twenty-three hours (give or take ten depending on time of death and the individual's health) for the infected to turn into zombies (the plague cannot infect Vampires, Werewolves, Fay, Dwarves, Gods, Demons, Demigods, Genies, Angels, Half-Demons, or Dhampyr. Reanimation only occurs in humans). Here is the list of symptoms by hour.
Hour One: Pain in the infected area (bite or an area where infected bodily fluids have entered the body).
Hour Three: Fever and Vomiting
Hour Five: Loss of motor control. Dementia. Lower body paralysis
Hour Six: Inflammation of the lungs. Slowing heart beat
Hour Ten: Coma
Hour Twenty: Zero brain activity. Heart stoppage
Hour Twenty-three: Reanimation
