SECOND CONDEMNATION

The Black Hawks (TBH) have made a history of outstanding raiding achievements. These achievements have led to recognition across NationStates including the Security Council. TBH was the first region to be condemned for raiding and home of the first gameplayer to be condemned exclusively for raiding (Jakker). Now, The Black Hawks can add holding a second condemnation to those list of achievements.

While this is not the first time in SC history that a region has held two condemnations simultaneously, this is the first time that a region has held two without the intention of repealing the first. The notion of adding a second condemnation to a region for similar actions is a novel concept. Some WA voters were not willing to accept this concept, but the 70% voting margin speaks for itself. In fact, when a proposal was made to repeal the first condemnation, several game players spoke out against the proposal and the proposal did not reach quorum.

Overall, the two condemnations speak to the rich raiding history of TBH and the impact that the region has had on NationStates. However, these proposals simply are one aspect of TBH’s history as the region continues to be the most feared military organization in NationStates.

MADE TO RAID

Throughout 2017, TBH has continuously been active in raiding. Hundreds of regions were tagged in the month of February including 55 regions raided in one update. Several Hawks have contributed to maintaining this activity. Antiochus Denral (Vapid) has been a fantastic contributor to both leading raids as well as training other players to trigger. Greyed (Greyview) and Heidur (Doug Denral) are two current corporals who have been heavily involved in raiding as of late and now have began leading raids. These efforts have resulted in 140+ regions’ WFE currently displaying a TBH message. Those are just a few examples of the tireless contributions of many Hawks in our community.

The Black Hawks have also engaged in large region occupations. A few weeks ago, TBH raided Equestria with several allies. Equestria was last successfully raided two years ago by TBH. In both instances, many natives embraces the stay by The Black Hawks. The amiable relationship was evident throughout the RMB during the raid and Equestria has maintained the in-game embassy with TBH.

Raiders moved from Equestria to raid Illuminati, one of the largest founderless UCRs in all of NationStates. Raionitu (Rai) slept in the region for around four months and became part of their security team. The update raid itself consisted of 50 updaters from over a dozen different regions and organizations. It was a true display of raiding unity. One can only guess which regions are next.

BOP TO THE TOP

As a region, The Black Hawks currently have nearly 600 nations. This makes TBH one of the largest regions in the world. This is thanks in large part to the recruitment efforts of General Souls as well as contributions from Lt. Rai and Sgt. Tom. R3naissanc3r has worked with TBH behind the scenes to boost recruitment over the couple of years and we are entirely grateful for his help. We hope to continue to grow as a region and as a community in the months ahead.

In addition to our growing numbers, we have also recently reopened relations with The Kingdom of Great Britain after the council conducted an extensive review. It was determined that Vaculatestar64 (Vac) has shown enough evidence to regain TBH's confidence. The regions have worked together on a few raids already including Illuminati and the council was invited to speak on an edition of KGB radio.

MEDDLING RAIDERS

A few Hawks have recently been recognized for their contributions to the region. Sgt. Antiochus received the Arms of Glory medal for skill and valor on the battlefield. Beyond the raiding, Antiochus has also contributed to other aspects of TBH including updating the military roster. Lt. Nyx (Rai) received the Star of Achievement medal for an act of distinguished service to the region. The medal was specifically for Rai’s efforts in the Illuminati raid, but he has also worked to create training videos for new recruits.

General Jakker received the Star of Lifetime Achievement Medal for distinguished service over a long period of time. Jakker has been part of TBH for nearly six years and led many of TBH’s achievements highlighted in their most recent condemnation. General Souls noted in the announcement:

“On a final note, I would just like to shout out all of TBH, from recent additions to our longest members. You all are wonderful, and make this region as great as it is. As the region nears its 12th anniversary, I would wager to say it’s currently near the strongest it's even been, and only looking better every day. Y'all play this game as the game it is, but stand with each other as true and open friends. You are the past, present, and future of raiding. Every indication says The Black Hawks will continue to raid their way across NationStates for many more years to come - and we'll get away with it too, thanks to you meddling raiders.

I don't usually give the dahkspahn free bumps, but in this case, you deserve it for that terrific tag run last night. You guys put a lot of effort into that and hit a ton of regions with the most absurdly quick switches. It was a fun challenge that almost burned my entire switcher stable. o>

Wrapping up the fourth major in a row with a notable TBH raid, there's only one thing that can be said - They're on fire!

You all have already been Razzle Dazzle'd by Vapid's 58 hit run earlier this week, but here's the rest the games that the Hawks have been playing:

He’s heating up!

With a successful appeal to her technical foul granted, Panzer Vier returned to the court in a TBH jersey and with a vengeance, knocking the dust off those ol' shoes and scoring 9 nets on the major of 3/23!

Is it the shoes!?

Not to be shown up, Vapid came back again to take the offensive. On the major of 3/24, he and his team scored another 28 hits. From Downtown!

The bigger the love, the bigger shove.

Entering play next, Greyview snatched the ball on the major of 3/25. With the pace of the game much increasing, and a few missed passes, the numbers weren't quite what she hoped, but her team still scored 25 hits, and only handed over the ball four times!

He just got his degree from dunkin on U!

But wait, there was a second game going on at the same time! Over on court two, Sygian was getting his groove back on, and finished his game without missing a single free throw. On top of that, he also managed to train some new players!

BOOMSHAKALAKA! A spectacular dunk The nail in the coffin! Man, those Hawks just can't be stopped!

The past day has seen three more raids by TBH in two updates, Last major, two groups were made - one led by Sygian, and one led by Vapid. Sygian decided to try his hand at shotgun triggering, starting out with skeleton teams of two. Despite technical issues abounding among our updaters, 16 hits were achieved after bringing in some extra hands from Vapid's run for part of update. Meanwhile, Vapid was running one of his usual fast-paced runs, and ultimately hit 42 targets. Then, at minor, an handful of Hawks, led by Panzer Vier, decided to go for a very short jaunt with a few friends and racked up 10 more hits. This makes four consecutive updates TBH has had a raid going on, as well as six straight days with at least one reported raid. Whew!
