For example a big part of being American is our sense of Freedom and the feeling that a fair and equal chance must be given to the commonfolk. So I ask what defining virtues, morals, and beliefs guide your nation and make it unique from everything else.

Equality:
We pride ourselves on being one of the most diverse countries in the world with settlers from Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas living in harmony with the native peoples of the isles. As such a sense of unity and brotherhood.

Nationalism:
Our size and geographic isolation from the rest of the world has created a unique culture that is tailored to our needs. As such we feel great pride for the island we are on and look to spread that pride where we go as well as even share with those on the island so that they too may embrace it.

Hardiness - Survival skills, shooting, etc. are common skills taught from youth, emphasizing toughness and perseverance, especially in males.

Freedom - The ability for one to live their life as they please is a widespread belief in the nation, pervasive in mainstream politics.

Individualism - Something of a continuation of the previous value. Individual choice and ability is placed before any idea of "common good."

Equality

We are one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse countries in Latin American. Within the last four decades we have seen millions of migrants from around the world, often fleeing nationalism. Largest migrations came from Europe, North America, and Francophone Africa. We have also have sponsored pride events world wide with government funding, and have triumphed equal marriage for over a decade.

Progress

Since the establishment of Les Guyanes our cities have boomed, and our people have prospered, becoming a beacon of hope for the rest of Latin America. We have more than doubled in population in twenty years due to relaxed immigration laws, attractive economic policies, and high fertility rate.

Education

With a world-class university and public education system, the vast majority of our citizens, including immigrants, are able to obtain a higher education of some kind. Our upper-middle class makes up roughly 50% of the population, with less than 5% below the poverty line, and 70% of our population has some form of higher education. Not to mention wide scale fluency in at least three languages, and in about half of those are fluent in five!

Preparedness: Every situation can be either dangerous or happy, and being prepared is very important in order to secure our neutrality firmly.

Determination: A nation and its armies must have these, so that they're compelled and inspired to serve the nation.

Equality: A balance for all, and a tolerant society that helps peace to blossom.

Neutrality: Appeasement can be bad sometimes, but there some situations that it can be used for good.

Nationalism: Karlsland is above all else in the world, our people will not fall silently like past civilisations in the world I.e. Egypt, Rome, & Sparta

Imperialism: Karlsland's influence should never shadow any other country, "Made in Karlsland" is the sign of our influence and national pride.

Industrialism: Where Karlsland may fail militarily the country will make up for our industrial might. (Ties into Nationalism and Militarism)

Responsibility and filial piety are regarded as the traditional 'virtues' of the Chinese civilization. (There's actually others but they're more of about being pretentious assholes.)

Associated with Zhouran's passionate and intense warrior culture, which dates back to the birth of the Silin Dynasty in 7 BC, the ethical code was influenced by the "Heavenly Path of the Warrior", which is a Zhouranese code of conduct developed in 7 BC that emphasizes the values of Honor, Courage, Respect and Loyalty. Since its creation, the value system of Zhouranese Virtues has significantly influenced the Zhouranese image of efficiency, discipline, loyalty and honor.

Internationalism: Vanadreneans view themselves as members of the international working class, united in the common cause of fighting for the emancipation of the world from capitalist exploitation.

Equality: The Party encourages and enforces equality among all people. Women's and LGBTQ+ rights are fiercely protected by law, and bigots are not accepted among the larger society.

Compassion: Our people are well known for their compassion for the oppressed masses of the world, and have welcomed large numbers of refugees and migrant workers from across the world into our socialist society. Because Vanadrene is viewed as a nation for the workers of the world, rather than just a nation for Vanadreneans by birth, the Party insists on treating all who enter equally.

Loyalty: Loyalty to Vanadrene, the international socialist cause, and the Communist Party is valued highly. This loyalty is seen as vital to the success of the socialist construction and promotion of our ideals worldwide. In expressing loyalty to the Party, the working class is expressing loyalty to themselves and their class brothers and sisters in all nations.

Discipline - Society can best move forward if its people is well disciplined. That said, we try to discipline our people without being too oppressive or being too much of a nanny state.

Equality - We try to combat inequality in the best ways we can, from welfare to universal services.

Freedom - We pride ourselves in providing as much civil rights as possible without compromising order, safety and sovereignty.

Globalism - In lieu of our ideals of peace, we believe in reaching out to the world, solving problems in whatever we do.

Humanity - We believe that nations are there to serve its citizens, and not the other way around. We apply this as much as possible without compromising our national identity.

Peace - We strive for [world] peace as much as possible. We contribute in peacekeeping missions and try to make it such that war is only "a last resort of last resorts".

Progress - We try to find ways to better improve not only our people's, but also humanity's lives, be it technologically or socially.

Sovereignty - While we strive for peace, we try to protect our sovereignty as possible. To that extent, we have a powerful military, even having as far as about 500 nuclear weapons. That said, we shall only use nukes in a second strike capacity, in order not to compromise our value of peace. After all, nuclear weapons are an efficient peacemaker, with the fear of [mutually assured] destruction being enough deterrent for war. In addition, we also vowed that the only weapons of mass destruction in possession of Britain-Japan shall be nuclear weapons.

Tradition - This, alongside sovereignty, is what defines our national identity. We try to implement all others without compromising this one.

Liberty-- The right of all citizens to vote and participate in the country and spread the right of freedom of choice and freedom of thought.

Common Needs-- The realization that all citizens have common needs and there is a need for all in a nation to be uplifted to meet their goals and dreams. This leads to national goals and standards focusing on maintaining the highest levels of standards of living.

Forwardness-- The need to plan for a better future and think ahead. "Forward into the future" is one of our slogans.

Environmental Cleanliness-- Clean orderly cities with greenery and clean technology.

Sovereignty-- The right to maintain our borders and way of life.

Making money for you and family In our nation, being poor is seen as something to be shameful of, being poor holds down the society as a whole, so those who are have their voting rights taken away and are unable to run for office until they are able to make enough money, seeing how average income is 185,000 store credits and 42,000 store credits is the average poor income, most of our people are clearly doing well.

Individual rights: We believe that as long as a person does not bring harm to the physical and mental well being of a person through DIRECT action, that they should be allowed to do as they please, want to marry 5 people to each other? sure go ahead

Compassion: Despite only having a population of just over 3 million people, Alizeria has one of the most generous foreign aid programmes in the world. Alizerians strongly believe in looking after the needy.

Humour: A sense of humour is absolutely essential in Alizeria. You won't get anywhere unless you have a few good jokes up your sleeve.

Individualism

Germany has always been a place where one could thrive on their own, and thus today the average German is very ambitious, independent and noticeable in a crowd.

Nobility

While the 1928 constitution got rid of many things, the nobles remained, though admittedly void of most privileges. Over the 20th Century, nobility actually became more of an obligation, and thus nobility in Germany today is the sign of integrity, benevolence and loyalty, and those values are thus projected onto the entire populace, both noble and common.

Union of Army and State (Prussianism)

Germany is a superpower, perhaps even THE superpower, feared and respected by the rest of the world. Its army in renowned, and all German soldiers - no - German warriors must uphold this formidable and glorious reputation. It is an honor to go into the Army at the age of 17, and the State has since made it so that being a soldier is a desired experience. A soldier must be loyal, skilled and proud.

German Democracy

Since 1928, democracy has been a pervasive issue in German politics. It is important for the country's very unity that everyone is represented and respected, and that liberty never dies in the giant fatherland. There is no censorship and no coercion, only freedom.

Justice

In Germany, justice is served. End of story. It doesn't matter who you are, only what you've done. It is the same with merit: no good deed goes unrewarded. If it does, the people will even judge the very government if need be, but justice will prevail even if the world is to perish.

Civic Nationalism

Ever since its initial, confederated launch in 1815, Germany had been an extremely nationalistic country. First it united, then it expanded, and so on, and at the same time reained a country of not only soldiers, but also of scientists, poets, industrialists and the common man. Naturally, any aware German would be patriotic. However, Germany does not stand alone. For the sake of her allies and partners, German nationalism must be civilized and reasonable; blindly thinking that you are always the best will turn you into OOC North Korea.
