Hallo, konnichi wa, zdravo, and Aloha!
After a long period of (unwanted) isolation, in which our nation was more like a secret hint for tourists who wanted to do everything they wanted – literally –, we, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federation of Nanakai, eventually decided to start our embassy program. The embassy district in our capital city, Leikaona, got finished and is ready to be used.
Now I will provide you basic information you may need for your decision to establish an embassy here: Nanakaʻi (or just Nanakai, the simplified spelling is also used) is a small island state with about two million inhabitants. We are a democratic republic that focuses on providing our people the most possible personal freedom you can imagine; a tradition that dates back into all our history including the communist era (1949 to 1990). We have very progressive social policies, which includes a large welfare program. Our national languages are German, Serbian, Hawaiian, and Japanese. Don't worry – English has taught in every school by default since the early 1990s, and many people attend language courses, so communication is unlikely to be a problem for you.
In principle we are open to any kind of nation in our universe, regardless of the specific ideology. We are aware that some countries would be more open to us than others, but as I mentioned – in principle, every nation is welcome if we are welcome to them too.
The primary goal of this – for us – is to make it easier for foreign tourists to access our country and to improve trade for us and for foreign nations. Also, we are aware that tax evaders from other countries use our total banking secrecy to hide money from their governments, which may be throttled way easier with permanent representation.
For more information on Nanakaʻi, we recommend you to read our nation's overview as well as our Tourist's Guide.
Important information – There is no maximum amount of vehicles and weapons (we don't restrict our people regarding that, so why should we restrict ambassadors?), but you will understand we need this information anyways, so maximum security can be granted. – All embassies will be established in the embassy district of our capital, Leikaona. Since the district is as extension of the road named Ulica Kralja Kamehameha (King Kamehameha Road), all addresses will have this street name – however, you may chose a house number if you wish. You may check this list to see whether a number is still free. – Ambassadors as well as diplomatic staff (except for non-diplomatic security staff hired locally) enjoy full diplomatic immunity in Nanakaʻi.
If you have any more questions, feel free to contact us.
Thank you,
Slavoljub Kiwalao
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federation of Nanakaʻi
