Good evening, Mr. Boyer
I am sending this to notify you that after overlooking the route with our board, aircraft dispatch, pilots and flight crews. We have decided to unanimously ACCEPT your application. However, there are a few drawbacks. Running the proposed 190 flights a day would pose a severe problem. Having our dispatch center run the calculations, it would require us to run flights every 7 minutes around the clock, and it puts extreme strain on our fleet. It also poses an impossible task of running so many flights with planes that we don't have. Our active fleet is 86 planes, with several more entering service. Upon working a flight schedule that works for the fleet, flights will commence as soon as possible with our aircraft. We thank you for choosing Northern Airways. Any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me via telegram.
We look forward to providing the best service to our passengers.
Sincerely,
Joseph Bugaj, President and CEO of Northern Airways

Good evening, Mr. Boyer
50 flights still seems too high, though it can be done if we had a more expansive fleet, though we are expanding the fleet gradually. Coupled with the destinations that we already have, we can do a shuttle service of 4 per day. That is a reasonable number of FPD (Flights Per Day) that can be safely executed by the planes, allowing for crews to swap out on the routes. Another thing to consider is route demand. Route demand allows us to shuffle the fleet to meet the travel needs. We will make your destination a Focus city. Inaugural flights will commence with the 4 flights per day. (We must ask, to get our facts straight, did you plan for us to be the only airline flying out of your city?)
We look forward to providing the best service to our passengers.
Sincerely,
Joseph Bugaj, President and CEO of Northern Airways
