Biography: Born on April 13th, 1999, Aldara was a strange girl born to strange circumstances. Her father, who happened to be a veteran from the Iraq War, was infertile, and thus her mother had received a sperm donation to fufill her own need for a child. On Aldara’s first birthday, when coming home from work, Mister Andreas had died in a car accident due to an incident involving the angling of a turning truck. Thus, the grieving Missus Andreas had to raise Aldara by herself, living as a single mother. Missus Andreas, who will be referred to as Eleanor, worked as a therapist, and had many books on psychology and human development.
At the tender age of 5, Aldara had decided that she wanted to become a nurse, and because her mother happened to have a doctor’s degree, Eleanor surely must know a lot about “nurse stuff,” even though she actually didn’t. For a long time, Aldara had pestered her about interesting subjects like how babies are made and why baby skin is so soft. It seemed that she had learned about the birds and the bees a lot earlier than Eleanor had expected, which exasperated her at times, but she still encouraged her to ask more questions and keep learning; a healthy habit for young children.
Due to financial issues and her mother’s concerns, Aldara had never attended kindergarten and first grade, which meant that she attended second grade when she first went to school, which was when she was 7 years old. Before that time, she was attended to by her aunt, who fed her and played with her when Eleanor wasn’t home; most of the time, actually. Aldara was rather shy around her new classmates, but after she adjusted to her new environment, she was extremely talkative and outgoing. She had made a few friends, and for the most part, her life was okay, even though she was considered a bit of a “sensitive prude.”
It was her high school life that had any amount of significance to her, in her opinion. She had moved to another neighborhood, and even though they had Facebook and phones available for communication, she had grown more gloomy and cynical without their presence to cheer her up. This was the time that she went through her “emo” phase, and she’d rather not talk about it. Aldara had to discard boxes and boxes of terrible poetry to forget the lingering embarassment, which even then persisted deep within her soul. In her words, “man, I wish I could punch me in the face.”
A year after graduating high school, she had learned how to drive and why she shouldn’t turn off Safe Search. These are hands-down the most important skills that she ever learned, which tells you a lot about her. It’s been a while since she had “claimed independence,” and even then, her mother still pays her tuition.
Fun Facts:
- When extremely angry, will recite 5-page-long essays/conversations/rants. Thankfully very rare.
- Can play the ukelele, but can't read music.
- Once held her breath for 4 minutes straight.
- Her terrible rap music is so terrible it makes it awesome.
- Everything she says is secretly an inside joke.
You have a bright future here, mate.
I mean, in the whole Portal of the Multiverse.
