You've all done an outstanding job with this RP. The IC flows very nicely, and this group's talented players breathe life into their characters and the setting. The majority of these characters are three-dimensional. Readers can easily empathize with them.

You, NRE, are an excellent writer and I can see that you work hard at keeping the integrity of the HP universe intact. The IC HP'verse setting is realistic, in other words, and readers do feel like they've stepped into a Hogwarts set in the future.

It would be a shame to see a quality RP leave P2TM. Yes, the PG13 cap seems a nuisance, but there isn't a player here that lacks the talent necessary to portray serious romance or horror in a way that doesn't cross the line.

What I do see in the IC is a realistic portrayal of love and relationships. It's a mature-minded approach rather than silly middle-school guesswork on how couples would interact while still reacting to the world around them. In particular, Adam and Rachel's sweet devotion to each other does not overshadow the plot. NRE and Miekzhemy, you've done a fantastic job. Build upon it and continue to serve as an example of what real life is like for a couple existing in a fast-paced world filled with magic and danger. You've several scenes worthy of submission to annual P2TM Awards' romance category. It's THAT good.

The intelligent writer appeals to the intelligent reader. Gorn and porn are cheap candy for kiddies. Horror and romance are difficult to write, but this group does so seemingly effortlessly. Be proud of that, people... you really are an awesome group.

If you have any questions, or would like some feedback on your writing, don't hesitate to TG me, or hunt me down in Madhouse. Although I love the HP franchise, I just don't have the time to join another RP. It would be a pleasure to step into the universe you've recreated here, however. I'll simply remain a reader for now, nail-biting as the students work towards their goals in the DADA class, and wondering if Caitie's angst will eventually eat her alive.

Welcome to an RP that has been modified from the original ! Here, you will roleplay in the world of Harry Potter, eighteen years after the books ended, after the Battle of Hogwarts. If you're a big potterhead, or you just like fantasy, you should probably check this out! You're in for a ride. Hopefully. You don't necessarily need any knowledge of the Harry Potter universe to join - I welcome all - although it is highly recommended that you do go out and research something. In-fact, it's mandatory that you go and research some stuff! But we'll get onto that later. I know this probably will get some love and hate, but this will allow our characters to develop much more in my opinion. So you will start at your first year at Hogwarts, each year will have 3-4 arcs basically one for each season. Now teachers I'm kinda torn with cause it can hinder or help so if you really want to Rp a teacher that badly, then you must prove you will be active and be able to keep the your class rolling. But I already have the first arc in mind, which will be revealed as the start of the RP gets closer.

OP Decrees

Hear ye, hear ye, due to recent events the OP has written an official decree. From this point we are sticking to strictly my word and that of the hand. From this point on these rules will be set into place to ensure the Rp is balanced those caught breaking it will be asked to edit heir posts and if it continues possibly asked to leave the rp.

1. No registered Animagus until year 3 (that will be up to the discretion of the OP and the Hand.)
2. No deaths NPC or Player will be allowed with out permission from the player, OP, and the hand.
3. Only use spells that you as first years would know if you want a parent to teach you one then ask the Hand or the OP
4. The Hand is an extension of my voice and my will and is to be treated with respect.
5. Those who wish to make horcurxes may learn about them in year 5 but will not be allowed to make them until year 6
6. If you want to recon a post you must discuss it with the OP, The Hand, or co-Ops

Of course, what RP would this be without rules?

-Do not Godmod, do not metagame, etc.

-Two character Max

-I'm the OP, and as such that means that my word is law. If not me, then my Co-OP's word is law.

-One line posts are forbidden. Make an effort, will ya?

-There is a very real possibility of death later on in the RP. If your character does stupid things in the face of danger, they will die. You have thin plot armour - don't complain.

-If you have a problem with another player, telegram them. If you can't sort it out, contact me or my co-op, Saint Ryvern. Keep arguments out of the OOC.

-Respect each other when OOC!

-No post of explicit sexual content (ie keep it pg-13 until the mature tag has been applied to the IC and ooc thread.

A brief timeline of events since the Second Wizarding War:

1998-2003: Ron and Harry go on to become Aurors. Hermione goes back for her last year at Hogwarts. The wizarding world recuperates, the Ministry rebuilds, and attempts to recover.

2004: Hermione starts at the ministry. More liberal elements of the ministry emerge, backing her

2004-2010: Disgruntled conservative members of the ministry speak out against house elf reforms, and later the equalisation of rights between muggle-borns and pure-bloods. There are attempts to blocks the reforms made by Hermione Granger and Minister for Magic Kingsley Shacklebolt, although they fail. Slytherin diversified and now includes a larger proportion of muggle-borns and half-bloods.

2011-2014: Muggle Pride groups begin to pop up, at first praising Granger and Shacklebolt for their work, but more radical members of these groups say that muggles (Particularly muggle-borns) are superior to pure-bloods, and that laws should be biased in their favour. Some are even in favour of abandoning the statute of secrecy so the muggle government can regulate the wizard one.

2014-2017: Pure-blood wizard conservative backlash against extremist muggle-borns lead to several violent attacks, causing many to be sent to Azkaban. More moderate pure-bloods, which the ministry tried so hard to create, become blood supremacists. Tensions are high in the wizarding world, and there are fears there could be all-out war between the two factions as more are driven to the extremes – half bloods are beings left in the middle, shunned by both sides.

Pure Blood Supremacists:
These people, much like their predecessors like Voldemort and Grindelwald, look down on anyone without pure wizard blood – those being half-bloods, muggle borns and muggles.

Muggle Born Supremacists:
These people harbour a relatively new ideology, one that states Muggle Borns are superior to all, as they possess the magical abilities of the wizards and the genius and ingenuity of the muggles.

Bloodless:
Those who believe blood status holds no meaning over magical society, and that all are equal. The current Ministry for Magic holds this ideology.

Hogwarts, in 2017, is tense. Due to the ongoing pure-blood and muggle born supremacist feuds, many students have turned on each other within houses - particularly Slytherin and Gryffindor. Sides are being chosen and supported within the school, and duels are becoming more and more frequent - and more and more violent - since the start of it. Teachers have attempted to quell it, but have failed thus far. Old stereotypes, such as Slytherin being the evil house, are less prominent.

A list of teachers:

Minerva McGonnagall is the headmistress at the school. Many see her as a strict, but fair teacher that will make sure all abide by the rules in place.

Neville Longbottom teaches Herbology at the school, and is claimed by many students to be one of the nicer teachers - and more famous, considering his membership of Dumbledores Army and his relationship with Harry Potter, the Boy who Lived. He is head of Gryffindor house.

Alexander Sedwig teaches Transfiguration, and seems to be quite a talkative and jokey teacher. He is often seen helping students, making sure they do their best. He is head of Slytherin House.

James Jackal teaches potions at Hogwarts. originating from Hogwarts. He had a natural skill for potions after his 7th year he traveled the world learning all that he could before being asked to return as a professor Thai year.

Blahone teaches Defense against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts. He is known for setting extremely easy tests, although tends to push his students quite a lot in lessons. He does, however, help the struggling students.

Professor Baxtor teaches Charms at the school and is known to be a master at his craft. He is also very knowledgeable when it comes to anything in his forte.

Personality: Adam is extremely loyal to his friends. He likes to be around positive people, but he likes to be around people in general so he is very social unless he doesn't like the person then he will try to avoid talking to them. But if he is stuck talking to a person he doesn't like he will put on a positive face and engage in a conversation with them. He will do anything to protect and help his friends and he expects the same from his friends.
Brief Backstory: Adam was born in New York City, his parents had been born in London and moved away from the area before he was born in the hopes of putting their skills to work in America. At the age of 5 his parents wanting him to go to Hogwarts decided to move back after living in America for twenty years. The family put Adam through muggle school while they waited for him to turn old enough. The family moved to the outskirts of London and magic was a common thing around the house, he didn't really understand it until he was 10 years old and his parents finally decided to start to explain how these things were possible and why his friends parents couldn't do this as well. He grew with excitement when his parents told him he would be going to Hogwarts to learn how to use magic as well. So over the next year his parents started to teach him the basics and started to go on trips to Diagon Alley to get him adjusted to the new world he would soon be entering.

A month before he was set to leave, his mother became deathly ill suddenly. It was deemed that his father was behind this and Adam was taken away from his family, all his relatives were dead or they didn't want him. So he was sent to the Galium Family, where he learned a lot about them quickly and he enjoyed him time as much as he could. The family has triplets and they were all about the same age. Adam was younger by a year and they all seemed to get along well, but he still missed his true family and still does. his foster siblings were all separated or well mostly, his sister was in Ravenclaw, one of his brothers was in Gryffindor and the other is in Hufflepuff.

He was nearly killed in the attack when his parents tried to use a blasting curse on the apartment building where they lived, but a crack in his father's wand caused the spell to fail. The three were apprehended by a team of Aurors and taken into custody. The infant was separated from his parents (who were given the dementor's kiss and stuck in Azkaban for the foreseeable future) and was sent to live with his great-uncle Marius in Leinster.

Marius was much different than some of his family, but nevertheless instilled a sense of pride in the young boy. Crassus was taught of his ancestry, as well as warning tales the lives of his parents and grandparents. The young Crassus didn't entirely understand what his parents had done wrong, and wondered for many years why this 'You Know Who' was so evil (his uncle avoided the subject, simply calling him a bad man). Of course, bearing the surname of some of the more famous supporters of HWMNBN meant that his arrival at Hogwarts was met with open disdain and even some discrimination on top of the fact that he was a Pure-blood from a predominantly supremacist family. He was sorted into Gryffindor, and began a promising school-year.

He plans to try out for the Quidditch team later on, he has his own broom and is an adept flyer.

Brief Backstory: Derek was born to Purebloods William and Heather Forester on June 21st, 2006 in Glasgow. Derek's grandfather, David, (now deceased) taught at Hogwarts and did Apparition classes and his grandmother, Mary, worked with magical creatures. Derek’s life was normal up until his fifth year, when his grandfather was outed as a traitor and executed by Aurors in his cottage on the Glacies Estate. The Forester estate was raided and his family (mom dad and grandmother) captured, then placed under the Imperious Curse and now work for the Ministry. Derek fought in the battle that year, being the one besides Rachel to be at the direct impact of the bomb going off, he saved the Sword of Gryffindor and kept it over the summer. For his sixth year, he fought against William directly in a duel that gave him a face scar. During the summer, he worked at the Glacies Estate and lived in his grandparents cottage. Unfortunately, due to fighting with those he worked under, he was locked up in a cell in the Department of Mysteries during most of the summer and his wand was snapped. Upon getting a new wand, he returned to Hogwarts, wondering what else could happen to him...
