Allow me to set the stage.

The year is 1810, on earth, but not our earth, for while the continents are the same, the nations are not. Other nations, some like ours, some so vastly different you don't recognize them. Cultures and Religions like ours, and some totally different. This is Alia Terra, Other Earth. On this "Other Earth", the humans of the Earth have progressed at the same technological rate, but their nations and cultures are some what different.

Often times, you enter a thread and you are thrust into a war. That is not this thread, you can definatly fight wars, but you can also have Diplomatic Relations, establish alliances, conduct trade, create colonies, send spies into other countries, assassinate leaders, host Gala's or Balls, there is very little that limits you here.

Your nation can be based off a Real World/Old World Nation, it can be a Real World/Old World Nation, or you can make a completely new nation altogether.

Want to have a Confederation of Indians spanning Western America? Want to rule a Caliphate spanning North Africa and the Middle East? A giant conglomerate of Europe? Any of these are viable, i only ask that in cases of small area like Europe, one tries to leave space for others.

Rules:

1. I, The Traansval, am the OP. What i say is law, and whoever i appoint as a CO-OP will share this power. However, i will wish to consult the RPers in all matters, for no man rules alone.

2. Try to be realistic. Its the 19th Century, no nation should have a population of hundreds of millions, armies of millions, or automatic weapons (Yes i know, gatling and puckle guns...). If you need help, consult me.

3. Try to keep it civil.

4. No controlling other people's attacks, unit reactions, or anything of the like.

5. No shrugging off enemy actions like they don't affect you; it is okay on occasion to have a counter, or to intercept the enemy's master stroke, but you are not meta, and you will be unable to defend against all their blows.

6. In addition, don't Metagame, which means don't use information you know in OOC in IC. Meaning, if someone says in OOC "I'm gonna invade you", don't immediatly make a post in IC where you prepare for a invasion, when there was no way your nation in IC could know about the attack.

7. No spamming or posting out-of character in the IC thread, keep OOC in the OOC

8. No Non-Human Species....

9. Realistic accuracy and things of that nature; your scouts won't be able to open fire at other troops at 2 miles range, no matter how good they are with their guns.

10. Last but not least, no superweapons. You may design your own weapons if you so feel the need, but I'd prefer images be provided for realism, and you CANNOT have a weapon that can kill an entire army.

Treaty of Paris

This treaty is created in the hopes of establishing a Coalition of Nations, first established at Versailles.

Article 1: All Signature of this Treaty shall be bound, by oath, to come to the Military Aid of any nation that is attacked by another nation. If a nation begins a war, it is highloy suggested all nations join, however not required. However, a Common Defense is required, and all nations must come to aid of another. If one nation of the Coalition is attacked, it must be treated as if all nations have been attacked.

Article 2: The members of this Coalition shall take steps and measures as to ensure the growth and unrestriction of Scientific and Economic Activities between Member Nations and their Citizens. Such steps and measures will be decided by each Member, or by a meeting of Member States.

Article 3: All members must allow the movement of Troops and Peoples through their borders, as well as allow member Naval Ships to dock inside their Ports, Habours, and Seaports.

Article 4: A nation apart of the Coalition may not and will not attack another Member through Economic, Political, or Military Means.

Nation name:
The Confederacy of the Tribes of America (Native America for short)

National goals:
To have more Indian tribes join us, get more trading countries to sell us guns, to modernize our military with more canons and forts, and to liberate colonized lands, become much more Westernized

Nation's Leader(s): Chief Tecumseh, Chief Black Hawk, Tenskwatawa (The Prophet)

National Government: (explain it's workings and set-up) Native America is made up of many different tribes, each one elects a chief, and sends him to the Chief Council, where they decide important matters relating to all of them. The Chief Council elects a Grand Chief, who organizes and leads the army into battle in times of war, and proceeds over the council when its not in war.

National history: A brain-child of Tecumseh and the Prophet, they first built Prophetstown as their capitol of their Confederacy, which it still is today, but the emerging United States saw this Confederacy as a threat, and tensions became very bad between them.

Colonists began going into Illinois and began attacking Shawnee tribes thay were part of the Confederacy. They created a huge army to put down the Indians. This came at the worst time, as Tecumseh, the military genius of the Confederacy was down South recruiting the Creeks.

His brother, The Prophet decided to attack the army before they attacked Prophetstown, their general, being lazy and confident that he'd win was caught unprepared and destroyed by the army of 10,000 the Prophet managed to raise to fight him off. This huge victory convinced many colonists not to expand into their territory anymore

After the victory huge numbers of tribes joined them, the Creeks, Cherokee, Fox, Sauk, Shawnee, all joined with Native America, and being supplied by weapons from America's colonial competitors kept them supplied with weapons.

The problem is Tecumseh's historical confederation was in the Indiana-Ohio area, which you controll, could I just have like Indiana and Illinois, I'll change the rest?

Can you change your history, since the area where those tribes that "join you" are largely in my territory (EX: The Creek) and also i'd prefer it if you don't have it so that i've already lost a military battle before we even start
