I filed a GHR asking about the game mechanics surrounding refounding a class region, and the voice of Mod did speak unto me that "When regions die, the prior setting are not saved. Class Region names would not reappear as Class Regions..." meaning that refounding a class region is as illegal as any other refound, since it is no longer a class region. Last thing, I refounded the region at about 4 PM EST, I just forgot to tell anyone until the following morning.
To anyone who wants to know a few more details, I noticed the Edisonia had cte'd 46 minutes after it did at minor update on Wednesday. I submitted my GHR at about 50 minutes. I then waited 3 hours for the mods to respond before I made the refound. This refound was about the opposite of the invasion. As opposed to the invasion, where zero research and about a minute of planning was put into it, I put so much thought into the refound that I almost lost it.
PS I'm sick, so sorry if I'm typing weird. Headache.

After more than eight months serving as the Director of HYDRA Command, our dear leader Tom Vasentius HYDRA has finally decided it is time to hang up his hat and pass the torch of leadership on to someone new. A lot of thought went into his decision: Tom has been suffering from what we are calling “leadership fatigue” for the past few weeks, which has been causing an undo amount of stress from running regional affairs. Understandably, a combination of real life stress and unnecessary stress from his position as leader of Hydra Command was draining NationStates of the fun it used to offer Tom. The solution to this has been for Tom to step down from his leadership position and retire from service in Hydra Command, in order to avoid any more contact with the issues that have been causing him so much stress.
Tom has been the leader of Hydra Command since his predecessor Eliot Isaraider II stepped down last April. As Director, Tom commanded Hydra forces on the front lines in the first invasion of The Place That Had No Big Banks, the invasions of Japan, Singapore, Nasicournia, Dank Memes, and Mediterranean. Tom has been an invaluable member of our community and we wish him well on his future endeavors. <3
Some debate went into who would fill in Tom’s position as the leader of HYDRA Command. Eventually the High Command concluded that this change in leadership would be a good opportunity to make a few structural changes regarding our higher ranks, and thus HYDRA Command will be adopting a new system of government. Like the Deputy Director in the previous system, the Director position will be elected by Hydra’s military aristocracy, a system which we believe will address the eventual stagnation that occurs in raider leaders, and will keep the region in a state of constant transformation. The Deputy Director will now be appointed by the Director upon the beginning of their term.
As the current Deputy Director, McManniaa has officially taken the position of Director of HYDRA Command, and has appointed newly promoted General We Are Not the NSA as the new Deputy Director.
