Caught up. Also, be aware that I edited this in to the OP, effecting RP and scoring:

I will be scoring every other RL day, which will allow for plenty of RP time. Obviously, the IC time will still be very quick 15 min. matches over a couple days span. I want to give people plenty of time to RP, of course, plus it will give me a cushion as I have to do a massive amount of RP, grading others RP, and scorinating for both the 7's match and the beverage judging for the Festival.

If signups are still open, IN!

PS: Is there a thread for this Rugby Sevens Tour? Maybe I was just blind in the OP.

They are. You're in!

Savojarna wrote:PS: Is there a thread for this Rugby Sevens Tour? Maybe I was just blind in the OP.

There is not one unified thread for rugby sevens specifically. There were previous everything threads for each tournament, and there's a rugby discussion thread for all codes. Usually the hosts will announce the sign up for tournaments in the rugby discussion/OOC thread.

3 more spots to fill, then we go to wait list.

Added. Thank you.

One more spot!

I'm also going to be running the Brew Festival concurrently, guys. For any of you that want to branch out in RP and do something pretty cool, there's a chance to play a part as a brewer/distiller, food vendor, entertainer, corporate sponsor, VIP attendee or just a regular joe attendee and mingle with a bunch of other NS folks. (You can also RP your national rugby players there) It's a real good crossover of the NS Sports, NationStates and Global Economics & Trade forums. Apply here to join.

AVBF Rugby 7s Everything Thread is Up and running now.

If you want to get credit for RP in the Brew Fest thread, also, or in lieu of the 7s Everything thread go to the AVBF Festival IC thread. Remember, Festival or Rugby 7s tournament related RP ONLY there.

Question: Were the URSA 7s not an official NSRB event? Is that why results from that competition are not included in the rankings?

Correct. It never got approved as an NSRB event. I am not on the board executive council, but perhaps it should be voted on this year...as well as board turnover, progress forward, sevens series and/or a RWC7, etc.

NSRB have not recognized URSA Sevens as an official Sevens Series tournament this season, maybe because of my delays and problems with scorinator. I keep improving my hosting experience, to host URSA Sevens again in the next season, and apply again for Board recognition.

As I've said before, I know there's a bunch of other tournaments going on that are competing for attention, so I understand the dilemma of time and priority. If you do have some extra time, and you think your team might need that extra push (there's some real close groups), consider knocking out an RP for the sevens. Last group round will be scored tomorrow night, about 36 hours from now, so plenty of time to get a decent, quick RP done. Good luck all.

I just put up an RP, but my apologies for not RPing more. I've had RL commitments this weekend that have kept me without the time to RP. This is a great tournament and I want to see it succeed. Good luck and good RPing to everyone.

I'm going to keep it short and professional here. It's way too late to withdraw. You're in it for the duration here. Despite making it 'official', your post is still OOC. Do not post OOC chatter in the IC/Everything thread again. Thanks for following NS Sports etiquette.

Besides, Madives, you don't have to RP in every single NS Sports tournament you're in. Hell, a number of people don't even post a roster! So whilst you can't really withdraw from a tournament once it's started, there's nothing saying you actually have to be active in it.

P.S. I've finished a big RP for the World Cup of Hockey, so I should have an RP for this up either later tonight or sometime tomorrow. So sorry for not really doing much here these past few days.

Good point, Elejamie. I appreciate the RP you have done. Thanks.

I will need to delay scoring the next leg for at least half a day due to a health reason. Thanks for your understanding.

Also, I will be in touch with a couple folks about possibly scoring the upcoming matches for Neu Engollon and Hutanjia either via TG or IRC.

Not exactly "later tonight or sometime tomorrow", but it's finally up if you want to have a read.

Also, you're welcome. And don't worry about the delay, it should give people enough time to squeeze an RP or two.

Yeah, sorry bud. The bright spot is that I think you'll end up with more rank towards NSRB 7s than if you had never entered at all. Something to build from for your next NSRB 7s tournament.
